The Dictators of Ponyville 2 The War
Luna defects
Previous ChapterNext ChapterLuna sat inside beside her sister in the meeting room. Because of what happened a few hours ago, there was nothing but to declare war. Luna didn't like the idea one bit, they were just fillies, but she did know that it was absolutely no excuse for what they did, that was an act of war. Celestia was currently discussing with her army generals about launching an attack against Bás. Luna couldn't help but feel bad for The Cutie Mark Crusaders soldiers, because in their eye's they are fighting for their country, and leaders. She was lost in thought and she started thinking about Pipsquek, it was no secret that she was his favourite princess, wich was also one of the many reasons why she really didn't want to go to war.
"We hafto act now, or they will think that they have won. We can't allow them to oppress their own people, because of what they did, even tho, I think they brought it on themselves. They have put their own civilians into concentration camps, or labour camp as they call it. Faust know's what else they have done. Wich is why we can't look the other way and pretend as if nothing has happened." Celestia stated, getting nods from everyone in the room.
"You're majesty, two weeks ago, there was a woman and a child that fled Bás with her child. The mothers name is Derpy Hooves, and her child's name is Dinky Doo." A commander informed the princess.
"Really, are they okay? It couldn't have been pleasant." Celestia said, with worry in her voice. She really did love the little fillies and colts, wich is why she does everything in her power to protect them.
"They're fine, but they are obviously frightened by what has happened. The filly's eye's tho, she looked terrified." The commander stated, with a hint of anger.
"I want no part of this." Luna said, surprising everyone and made her sister look at her.
"Luna, you... You can't be serious." Celestia said, with disbelief.
"Look, I understand why you all are doing this but, it's all wrong. Those soldiers have no choice, I talked to Pipsquek and he told me that the only way to get respect in their regime, is to practically join their military. He himself joined the military, and I think he might will be forced to fight against us. I want no part of this. Good look dear sister, I hope you succeed." Luna explained, as she walked towards the door with her night guards.
Everyone in the meeting room was dead silent. They had never heard Luna say no to something as big as this. But then again she did make some very good points that not even Celestia could deny. Celestia was the most shocked one out of all of them. She knew her sister was most likely not so keen in on the idea, but she didn't expect her to do something like this.
As Luna left with her night guards, she walked to her room, wich was a midnight feel to it. On her bed covers was the half of the moon with stars around it. The room was completely in midnight blue. She took out three large bags and started packing clothing food, and other essentials.
If her sister was gonna start a war, then she wanted to be gone before the chaos and destruction ensued. Almost all of her guards were only bat ponies, but there were a few normal ponies also, she knew three of her guards were in a relationship, and was gonna allow them to stay if they so wished. Luna was done packing and lavitated the three large bags, into a small trolley thing that was flat but used in hotels, or atleast the ones she has been to.
"I know you have done a lot tonight but call in every night guard as you can." Luna said, with a hint of sorrow in her voice.
The two night guards nodded and ran of. Twenty minutes later and every night guard were standing in from of her and looked at her with pride, but still kept their blank expression.
"I know that you wonder why as to I called you here. My sister wants to start a war against Bás, but I don't even after what they did to us. I understand my sisters intentions but I refuse to go to war." Luna said, looking out on her guards.
Many of her guards looked shocked. Luna couldn't help but snicker in her head, they had the reaction she was already expecting. The other guards looked perplexed as to why their princess wasn't going to war against her enemies.
"If you want to come with me, then it's up to you. Because you see, I a'm going to live in a cave far from Canterlot and even Equestria. It's a very large cave that I found when I was younger, it's like a completely new continent, but I know some of you are in relationships, wich is why I ask you to now either leave, or join our journey." Luna said, looking out on the dozen heads in the little crowd. No one left or even moved and inch. This made Luna smile.
"Are you all sure, there is no backing out after this?" Luna asked, cautiously.
No one moved, it was clear that they were gonna stick to their princess at all costs. It was one of the many reasons she adored her night guard, they had determination like no other.
"Follow me then, everypony." Luna said, in her royal Canterlot voice.
She walked forward as a leader and princess for her small army. They walked through the streets of Canterlot and walked far away from the castle. Little did Luna know, that her sister was watching her through the window. Celestia wasn't angry at all, she understood why her sister had done what she had done, but she still couldn't help but feel betrayed.
Luna, I never thought you'd leave you're sister, but it was a smart move. The war is on.
