Creature: Dark Apakolypse

Even though the sea itself was calm, everyone was still recovering from their first battle with the Gauntlet of Poseidon's Breath. They had all even stopped the ship, and hadn't got closer to the Island itself due to their battle. Creature was currently looking out onto the horizon from the front part of the ship before being joined by the unusual Lovebug Sektiss. "You rarely ever talk to me Changeling....tell me, why do you wish to approach me now?" Creature asked, as Lovebug Sektiss sighed.

"I only came here to speak of something to get off my mind.....about how risky this Gauntlet is....personally I don't know if this was a good option, or not" Lovebug sighed, as Creature looked at the Changeling, and spoke.

"This place is the only area where we can truly reside, and be able to get to from the Gauntlet's of Poseidon's Breath....besides if we wouldn't have come here, all of us Sharklantean's would tear our only hope of fighting this infection apart in hopes of survival. Whether you like it, or not Lovebug, we have to get to this Island, and deal with whatever Poseidon's Breath throw's at us" Creature told her, as Lovebug looked down before speaking.

"My two best friend's have slowly recovered, but I'm worried about what's going to happen.....can we please just......" Lovebug was about to speak, but Creature turned to her, and spoke.

"WE EITHER DO, OR DIE LOVEBUG.....THERE IS NO GOING BACK.....LIKE IT NOT WE HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!" Creature roared at her, as Lovebug was about to lash back, but faltered to speak any word's, as the situation dawned on her.

"I'll be at the bay, hopefully I'll ask Rainbow Dash to get this boat back on course, since we're nearly repaired" Lovebug explained, as Creature nodded. She was about to walk away when she noticed something.

"H-Hey.....Creature you have some burn's on your arm's....do you need my......" Before she could speak, Creature slightly turned his head, keeping his back to her, as she gazed deeply into those oceanic eyes.....the eyes of both a warrior, and a predator that almost made her blood run cold, as he spoke in his deep fleshy voice.

"I'm fine....just go check on the Captain's status" He told her, as Lovebug shook her head before stuttering an "Ok", and went to do just that. Lotus Moon, and Saphirus had arrived on the upper deck with a few bandages that they were unwinding off their bodies, as they looked out at the waters with Creature.

"You two seem to have healed fast for a romantic pair who caught a cannonball explosion near them" Creature said, as Saphirus smiled.

"Thank's to Zecora's special healing magic I've actually been able to rapidly recover, and so has Lotus....I'm starting to see why Poseidon's Breath is dangerous, I wonder what this place is?" Saphirus asked, as Creature smiled.

"There is an artifact in this place that may help us create a cure for the Tryphoceaus virus. The island has a dark magic gem with oceanic power's that not only will help us with a cure, but give us the perfect opportunity to be able to focus all our effort's on the cure, and be safe from the Infection....for now" Creature explained, as Lotus smiled before smashing her fist against her hand.

"That would be amazingly helpful for us, but right now after that Cannonball attack, I'm rather pissed, and ready for Round 2" Lotus chuckled, as Rainbow Dash had managed to get the ship re-aligned, as it headed straight for the Island.

"Lotus.....I'm afraid you may have jinxed us" Creature told her, as Lotus Moon looked around constantly, not seeing anything before giving him a confused look.

"What makes you say that....the water's are perfectly fine, and the sky is beautiful" She spoke, as Creature spoke.

"Some Sharklantean's have sharp instinct's....it is said that when one is very tuned with the ocean, one can sense a certain level of danger before it appear's....and I'm sensing one now....and something tells me that this storm is going to be EVEN BIGGER than the last one we were in" Creature explained, as out of nowhere, the sky grew dark, as the Moon went in front of the Sun....making a Solar Eclipse appear.

"A....Solar Eclipse!?!?!?!?!?!?" Lotus Moon wondered, taking a small glimpse at it, before seeing the sky becoming black, and stormy, as the Solar Eclipse was still visible. The cloud's turned a full moon blue, as the something in the deep, rumbled in front of them.

"Here it comes" Creature snarled, as a Reaper ship pulled alongside the Port side of the ship.

" WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE SHIP!!!!!!!!" Saphirus shouted, as he, Lotus Moon, and Creature headed to the port side, ready for battle.

"DON'T LET A SINGE SKELETON BONE ON THIS SHIP!!!!!!!" Creature roared with his claw's pulled out. The Reaper ship's plank was extended onto the huge pirate ship, as 35 skeleton's with axes, and cutlasses were boarding the ship with hyper fast speed. Thankfully, Lotus Moon, and Saphirus always kept their weapon's on them, as they immiedietly got them out, and began bashing the speedy skeleton's. Lotus Moon swung her hammer with skill, and accuracy working up a sweat to constantly kill the speedy pony skeleton's. Saphirus was having the same problem, while Creature was like a bone-shredder....swiping his claw's at the skeletons faster than the eye could see.

After working up a sweat, the Skeletons on the Reaper ship's threw Molotov's at them, but thanks to Rainbow Dash's speed, she used the gunfire of her pistol's to shoot each bottle in mid-air, and the Molotov cocktail's, while Lotus, Creature, and Saphirus dealt with the 20 Skeleton's that kept crawling aboard. These Skeleton's were much slower than the last batch, but they were still difficult to take down, as Saphirus, and Lotus were doing their best to take them out. Creature was headbutting a few of them off the ship, while Lotus, and Saphirus shattered them, and let their remain's be lost to the oceanic depth's.

"EEEEEEEEKKKK......BUG'S!!!!!!!!!" Echo shrieked, as tiny little oceanic blue lump's began swarming the upper deck, their bottom area having nothing but, pointy teeth.

"RAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!" Lovebug Sektiss screamed, as her eyes glowed blank white, as her horn glowed before a shockwave of Changeling magic, erupted around the ship, frying the massive swarm of oceanic bug's.

"PORT SIDE!!!!!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted, shaking a few dead bug's off her, as she stepped back, keeping an eye out for more Molotov throwers. Lotus Moon, and Saphirus easily cleared out 8 Skeleton's before clearing the plank, and getting on it. Both of them spotting a huge mass of flammable barrel's, as they got off the plank before Lotus Moon turned to Rainbow Dash.

"Captain....if you throw a grenade at just the right angle, you'll sink the entire ship" Lotus Moon told her, as a mischievous grin came across her face.

"Perfect.....let me take the ropes then" She smiled, as she jumped on the plank, and gunned down many Skeleton's that were trying to board the ship, before popping a frag grenade, and tossing it at the barrel's. The middle part of the ship exploded, as the Reaper ship was now split in half, sinking beneath the waves, as Rainbow Dash used her wing's to fly up into the air before setting down onto the ship. Suddenly the ship was caught in the biggest whirlpool they had ever seen, as Echo tried to steer the ship.

"WE'RE CAUGHT IN A MAELSTROM....IT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!!!!" Echo screamed, as Rainbow Dash ran to the ship, and began to steer it, as she growled.

"HANG ON.....WE'RE IN FOR ONE HELL OF A RIDE!!!!!!!!" She shouted, as she steered the ship. A thundering roar got everyone's attention as a huge head of the beast appeared at the very center of the whirlpool, it's long tentacles ready to kill the intruder's.

"KRAAAAAKEEEEENNNNN!!!!!!!!!" Saphirus screamed, as the huge monstrous sea creature let out a shrilling roar, before Creature ran to the side of the ship, and let out a very loud challenging roar, threatening the giant beast. Angry, one of the Kraken's huge tentacles lifted up ready to strike.

"CAPTAIN.....RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT!!!!!!!!" Lovebug Sektiss screamed, as Rainbow Dash fought hard against the current, as the tentacle slammed down, smashing into a few parts of the ship, but not doing any major damage, as it's tentacle retracted back into the water. Another one of it's tentacle appeared, preparing to strike again.

"LEFT, LEFT, LEFT!!!!!!!!" Lotus shouted, as Rainbow Dash reacted in time, as the tentacle was only able to damage the starboard railing, before retracting back into the water.

"HANG ONTO THE SHIP, OR YOU'LL FALL IN!!!!!!!" Saphirus shouted, as a lot of them hanged onto the ship for dear life to not be loss to the Abyss.

"LET'S MAKE HIM BACK OFF!!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as Lovebug Sektiss used her magic, and began shooting huge pieces of Reaper wood that the Kraken was throwing at the ship, as a loud roar came from the beast, as it dove underneath the water's. "HE'S DIVING......RAINBOW DASH, SHIPWRECKED REAPER'S UP AHEAD.....STEER SO WE DON'T CRASH!!!!!!!" He shouted, before Rainbow Dash spoke.

"HANG ON!!!!!!!!!" She shouted, as she steered the ship, as hard as she could to avoid any collision with the destroyed ship's. They managed to slip through the wreckage with a rather crazy ride, but it only got worse. Two Reaper ship's kept them boxed inside the Maelstrom, and the Kraken had re-surfaced in the exact same spot, as before....ready to kill again.

"LOOK OUT!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as he forced Lotus down to the deck of the ship, while using his claw's to rip 2 Grim Reaper skeletons apart.

"WHERE DID THEY COME FROM!?!?!?!?" Lotus Moon shouted, as Saphirus was using his gloves to kill the 8 more Reaper Skeleton's that approached from the sky, as he tore them apart quickly. A huge Reapear Skeleton appeared, as it used it's evasion skill's to dodge Saphirus's gloves before diving headfirst forward for the kill. Out of nowhere Creature grabbed the Reaper Skeleton in mid-air, and threw him at Lotus Moon, who bashed him to pieces with a huge hit from her hammer....which caused a wave of numbness up her right arm

"Ow...." She groaned, before they recieved Cannon fire, from one of the Reaper ship's, boxing them in.

"SHIFT THE CANNON'S!!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as all of them changed the Cannon's to adjust to them at the front of the ship.

"FIIIRREEEE!!!!!!!" Lotus screamed, as four cannonball's erupted from their ship, hitting the Reaper ship in front of them. This second Reaper ship was just as big, as they hit the back of the Captain's quarter's. Two enemy Cannonball's, slammed into the entrance of the ship, causing many of the lower deck to be affected, but the hit wasn't enough to do damage. The group fired the Cannon's again, as it struck a huge blow to the enemy Reaper ship, who fired back, everyone barely dodging the cannonball's which exploded behind them.

"That was too close" Saphy breathed, as all of them fired the Cannon's again. Both ships fired four shot's which ended badly. Creature, Lotus, Saphirus, Sektiss who had helped were blown from the front of the ship from the huge collision. Their ship was fine....The Reaper ship sank into the whirlpool's water's. Creature stood up, shaking the hit off, as Lovebug, Lotus, and Saphirus were motionless on the ship's deck, blood oozing from their head's. He quickly managed to check their pulses, and was relieved that they were all alive.

"ECHO....GET THEM TO THE MEDICAL BAY!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as she dragged all four of them below deck for them to recover, as Creature turned his attention to the Kraken. His eyes began to glow blood red, as he let his instinct take control....the primal rage, bleeding into his brain. The Kraken wrapped it's tentacle up the middle mast, trying to pull the ship to it's doom. Rainbow Dash used as much strength to fight the Kraken's grasp, as Creature charged, at the tentacle, and began slicing it constantly, drenching his body in blood. The Kraken finally let go, as it's bloodied tentacle fell into the water's below.

The Kraken brought another tentacle up in the air, ready to strike again, as Creature charged at it, using every part of his body to shred, and attack the Kraken's tentacle, making the huge beast, bleed. The Kraken's shredded tentacles dipped into the water, and pulled up another un-harmed tentacle, as Creature tore it to shred's. Two more of it's tentacles appeared, as Creature savagely shredded them all with his teeth, and claws. Many screeches of pain echoed from the Kraken, as Creature's jaw's, and claws were dripping with blood, as his savage, primal monster side, roared back at the massive beast.

The Kraken then smacked Creature off the ship, and into the water's below. A huge wave inside the Whirlpool formed, as he had ridden the current, and slingshot himself back onto the ship, more pissed off than he already was. The Kraken brought up the it's final tentacle up, and attacked again, only for Creature to shred both tentacles at once, making it screech in pain, and leaving it vulnerable. He took one of the cannon's, and constantly fired it like a rocket launcher. Kraken blood erupted from it's side's making the beast surface more, revealing it's mouth.

Lotus Moon, and Saphirus had crawled back up to the surface, bandaged, and battered seeing it's weakness, and seeing Creature about to do something."DON'T!!!!!!!" Lotus, and Saphirus screamed in unison, as Creature lept a mile high into the sky with his claw's pulled out. He felt a bolt of lighting hit him completely, but he ignored the agonizing pain, as he dove down, and slammed his claw's into the beast's head, and sending million's of volts through it's system. The Maelstrom began to dissipate making them get out of it, as the Kraken let out a dying shriek.

Lotus Moon quickly used a huge portion of teleporting magic to get him back on the ship, as the Solar Eclipse ended, and all three of them passed out.

All of them groaned, as they woke up in a medical ward in the ship with Zecora, nursing them back to health, as Lotus sighed. "That was worse than the last battle" Lotus groaned, as she felt the pain in her body before Zecora spoke.

"Their is a time for when you battle, and when you a rest, I suggest you all take a moment....and heal" Zecora advised, as Saphirus coughed before speaking.

"Please let that be the last time we ever fight a sea battle" He groaned, as he was in multiple bandages, as Zecora spoke again.

"Even after the defeat of the Kraken, there is more good new's to here the word's from the Captain say the Island Bay is clear" Zecora told them, as Creatute groggily got up, and spoke.

"The Kraken....was the only second Gauntlet that part of the bay.....we can finally journey to the island now....but first, we need to rest, with what I....recieved.....I....." Creature couldn't finish his sentence, collapsing back, and losing consciousness, as Zecora smiled.

"Thank's to a data the other Sharklantean's had revealed....he will only need 1 day to heal" Zecora smiled, as Lotus looked at the zebra mare, before speaking.

"How long will it take for us to heal?" Lotus asked, as Zecora spoke.

"With my advanced healing potion's for all three, it will take you all two day's to heal" Zecora spoke, as Lovebug Sektiss groaned before speaking.

"That's fucking perfect, stuck on this stretcher for two whole day's to heal....this had better be worth going to the trouble for, becasue I'm beginning to hate Poseidon's Breath" Lovebug growled, as Saphirus waved her off before speaking.

"Lovebug....please don't complain right now...my head is throbbing from that battle" Saphirus groaned, as all of them layed back in the bed, getting some sleep.
