Creature: Dark Apakolypse

The sound of a torch being lit was heard, as Creature looked around throughout the darkness of the caves ahead. Lotus Moon, and Saphirus had used the glow of their horn's to see what was going on around them to see through the darkness of the cave. Rainbow Dash herself also kept a torch which would also help her see, as they had gone from the entrance to the tunnel to where they were planning to map the place itself out. "Interesting....the tunnel's in this cave look like something big made them, tearing through all of this" Creature told them, as Lotus Moon shuddered.

"Usually in stories that's a bad sign" She shivered, as Creature, and Rainbow Dash paused, giving Lotus Moon a suprised look, as she spoke.

"What.....I also have read a few book's, and seen movies that involve dark caves such as these" Lotus Moon told them, as Creature shrugged before speaking.

"Well then, we should continue OOOONNNN!!!!!" He shouted, and screamed with the other's, as the ground beneath them gave away, and all of them fell into a huge hole. They all got up, seeing that the entire place around them look like an underground bar, with lamp's, and very aged booze with tiny roaches hanging around.

"Well....this is interesting" Rainbow Dash said, before a bunch of pony Skeleton's popped up from their hiding places, some having pistol's, and even cutlasses.

"Here we go again" Lotus Moon sighed, pulling out her bo-staff, and Saphirus got his gloves ready. Creature readied for battle, while Rainbow Dash, pulled out her pistol's. 22 of these Skeleton pirates came out of nowhere, as they began fighting them off. Rainbow Dash took care of the one's that had pistol's, as she was a faster, and better shot than these dead drunk's. Her gun fire ripped through them, as she thankfully had changed her ammo belt way earlier giving herself many full magazines for the job. Lotus Moon used her staff to bash many of the bony skeleton's into oblivion, while Saphirus helped smash each of the skeleton's they fought.

Creature noticed that some of these Skeleton's had tomahawk's, and were slicing, and throwing them with accuracy. Creature's skin was able to take the punishment of each tomahawk, as the throw's knocked him back, before he charged in, and bashed them into a pile of dust. All of them managed to clear out the bar of the skeleton's that attacked them. Lotus Moon picked up one of the tomahawk's she found, using a small part of her magic, with the help from Saphirus to not only make it metallic, but also come back to her with a pulse of her horn when she threw it. This helped, due to her bo-staff not being a ranged weapon at all.

"Noice" Saphirus clicked, as Lotus Moon giggled softly before they exited the door, and shut it behind them....leaving them in pitch blackness. The sound of foot step's was heard, but no one was there. A huge curved ghost sword appeared out of nowhere, as Creature recognized what the sword was, and readied for battle.

"Uh-oh" He spoke, as all of them turned to him with concern.

"Uh-oh what?" Saphirus asked, as Creature spoke.

"That's a Sword Phantom, the ghost of a pony trapped inside of that sword, and cursed to it forever. It lives in the darkness where it's blade devour's the soul's of those who are killed by it's blade" Creature answered, as Lotus Moon shivered, getting in a defensive stance.

"And I thought Infected Sharklantean's were bad enough" She spoke, as Creature got into a fighting stance, and spoke.

"Be fast, and nimble. This sword is very skilled, if we destroy the sword we kill the Phantom" Creature told them, as Lotus Moon smiled.

"Then let's make this a three on one shall we" She growled, as she charged in for the first attack. The sword danced, and attacked, as it's ethereal blade clashing with Lotus Moon's metal bo-staff. This made Saphirus charge in, as he used his glove to karate chop the sword in half, destroying it with ease. Another Sword Phantom appeared, but Creature easily used his claw's, matching it blow by blow before pushing forward, and slicing it in half. They heard a strange disgusting noise, as the sound of gunfire echoed behind them. Rainbow Dash shot up many of those big, red, ugly lumpy bug's they had come across before.

Rainbow Dash ran out of ammo, as she shoved some fresh clip's in both her pistol's, having a mischievous smile on her face, as she chuckled. "Don't forget about me dipshit's" She giggled, as Lotus Moon smiled.

"Of course we wouldn't forget you Captain....it's one of the reason's why you came along on this trip" Lotus smiled, as both mare's giggled, as Creature spoke.

"Let's move." He told them, with urgency, all of them continued forward, until two ghost sword's charged at Creature arm who saw the attack coming, and blocked it with his arm. The sword's ripped out of his right arm, as he immedietly slashed the left one, while Lotus Moon charged in with remarkable speed, and bashed the other ghost sword in half. Two more ghost sword's appeared, as it looked like they were "skipping" happily to kill their victim. Creature used the wall's, and ceiling's, jumping off, and spinning like a torpedo using both of his claw's to slice each sword apart, and landed on both of his feet on the cave floor.

"Come on" Saphirus ushered, as all of them continued forward, looking for a clearing, or a way out, until they came across a moonlit part of the cave that was huge. A swarm of bat's immedietly came off the wall, and attacked them, as they all fought the swarm off with a lot of difficulty. They managed to kill the venomous bat's, but not without taking a few cut's, thankfully their venom not being enough to kill them. A huge rumble echoed throughout the area, as from a big crack the front part of a huge snake was in front of them, letting out a thundering hiss. It's mouth opened, as it tried to eat them, but Creature gave a powerful punch to the top of it's head, punching, and slashing at the massive snake.

The snake itself recoiled, and attempted to strike Creature from all side's. Luckily for the Sharklantean's heightnened instinct's he managed to dodge the snake each time it attacked, while giving it a bunch of attack's from each blow he dodged. He finally landed, and managed to get a firm grip before landing a single punch that stunned the massive serpent. "IT WON'T BE DAZED FOREVER.....LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as they all charged out a hidden door, finding a lit cavern with a waterfall in it. All of them encountered a battle that was a very hard fought one. 71 Skeleton's charged at them with extreme power, as they fought for their very lives.

Lotus Moon was thankful that she was able to use her new tomahawk to do some lethal damage, but she still did her best, along with the other's to fight off the massive hoard. Out of nowhere a huge explosion knocked them off their feet, as they hit the cave floor hard. Blood leaked from Lotus, Saphirus, and Rainbow Dash's head, as the three ponies looked up seeing two Skeleton's behind a bunch of cannon's. Creature stood up, spitting some blood from his mouth, before letting his primal fighting instinct take over once again. Before he could react, a huge Minotaur Skeleton, jumped down from above the cave wall's with a huge shield in hand.

The Minotaur, buried it's axe into the Sharklantean's shoulder, as Creature kicked the Minotaur back, and used his claw's to shred it's shield. The Minotaur roared, as it ripped it's axe from his shoulder, and prepared to strike again. Creature charged in, and headbutted the Minotaur Skeleton into the furthest part of the cave wall, the impact shattering the skeleton into a million pieces. "ELEVATOR!!!!!!" Rainbow Dash pointed out, as all of them dashed for it, coming across a huge mine rail system of gondolas which led to many part of the tunnel's. "HOW ARE WE GOING TO HOLD THEM OFF, BEFORE WE GET MOVING!?!?!?!?!?"

Saphirus shouted, as Lotus Moon saw two cannon's, and pointed at them. "Let's use these.....Creature I'll need your help" Lotus told him, as Creature nodded. Saphirus, and Lotus manned the two cannon's, and began shooting at the two skeleton's who were on their Cannon's that many of the other skeleton's who helped set the up Cannon's to destroy them. Thank's to Creature's help, even when the skeleton's tried to fire the cannon's at them, he used the environment around them to quickly get to them, and kill the skeleton's manning the cannon's, while Lotus, and Saphirus provided cover fire.

After getting out of the way, all of them got into the railing system which led them down many tunnel's, as an escape route. Along the way, the huge snake from before came out from one of it's tunnel's catching up to them, looking to devour it's prey. "Ah great.....it's back" Saphirus groaned, as the snake was big enough to keep up with their ride. It's opened it's jaw ready to attack, before tacking a huge punch on the forehead with Saphirus'd massive fist, knocking it back a bit, before it continued after them, not losing sight of them. They soon had to snap forward, and dodge debris to keep themselves from being killed.

They heard the roar of the snake behind them with it's jaw open. "GIMME YO' FUCKING FOREHEAD!!!!!!" Creature roared, as he gave the huge serpent a powerful kick, knocking it back from his powerful attack. Rainbow Dash saw more debris up ahead, as she pulled out her pistol's, and shot them with ease, clearing a path for them. The snake continued charging forward, ready to coil for another strike, until Lotus Moon threw her Tomahawk, and punctured it's chin, and attracted the weapon back to her with some difficulty. Blood leaked from the snake's chin, but it still stayed on it's prey, not faltering. Rainbow Dash used more bullet's to clear a path, as she had burned through 6 magazines, and quickly reloaded again.

The serpent charged again, and almost bit Saphirus if Lotus Moon didn't slam her Tomahawk down onto it's head, and re-called it, followed up by a deep slash from Creature's claw's. The snake was bleeding badly, but it continued to press on, wanting to eat all of them. Lotus Moon spotted what appeared to be explosive barrel's, and knew what to do. She threw her tomahawk into one of the barrel's which caused a chain reaction that blew a huge chunk of the snake's face off, letting blood, and brain fluid erupt from it's head, as the snake skidded of to the side, dead.

All of them breathed, and panted, as the gondola guided them to an exit to the cave which had a huge section of island that could be used as a futuristic base of operation's for the adventurer's, and a safe place to develop the cure. "I don't believe it.....this part of the Island, is so spacious.....and we can do a lot of thing's with it, and even set up a system from what we just saw" Saphirus smiled, as Lotus Moon chuckled, and smiled as the two hugged, laughed, and cheered that they finally found the place they needed. Creature however, noticed a part of a rock wall that didn't look normal. "It look's like their's one more thing's to grab, before we can get started"

He said, as he investigated that area to further to explore that certain part of the island.
