Creature: Dark Apakolypse

The beautiful unicorn mare had sat at home with her computer, as she finished writing one of her best selling novel's. Her house was nice, and she had lived with her coltfriend for a very long time. Of course that's what she would have looked like on the outside if it wasn't for the adventures she had gone through the past few year's. She had met a gender swapped version of herself, and helped him, and his marefriend swap of her coltfriend get home, while having sexy hijinks along the way, and killing an evil spirit along the way with her own magic. She also did the same with another mare who needed her help, and one of her bestest, and lewdest friend's....also had an adventure of her own.

That mare managed to re-form a certain Changeling Queen, and had also formed her own hive with Cadence, involving the help of Shining Armor. Granted, it drew the attention of a few demon's here, and there, but overall they managed to defeat them, and made the hive survive. This mare, was Lotus Moon.
Lotus Moon was still working on the writing on her computer, while listening to the music on the beautiful headphone's that Vinyl Scratch had given to her, when she, and her coltfriend had a small anniversary party....which didn't go unnoticed by Pinkie Pie.

Lotus had gotten used to that, and to this town. Her coltfriend was working at the library, and was going to be getting home a little late. Lotus didn't mind this at all, because it lead to some romantic night's of sex that she enjoyed blissfully with him. True he may be a bit shy when doing it, but she alway's found him to be adorable. Lotus had let her mind drift for a small bit, to places it shouldn't have gone, but she shook it off, as she continued writing, until she was done. Lotus had finished another Chapter, and her brain felt muey gooey....she took off the Clark Kent reading glasses, as she sighed mentally, looking away from the screen.

Lotus had enough, as she saved the recent file to her computer, as she went to the fridge, and pulled out a leftover hayburger that she had. Lotus Moon licked her lip's, and began eating, enjoying the hayburger with the specific topping's she wanted, and her most favorite brand of soda. She had been hearing some rumor's of ponies disappearing, but she payed this no mind, for now, and continued eating her meal. Lotus Moon helped read a book, while eating her meal. She drank some apple cider that she enjoyed which she got from her refrigerator, and somehow managed to turn the light's off before passing out from getting drunk.

Creature was dragging the deceased unicorn mare throughout the area, trying to find a place to sit down, and enjoy his meal. He couldn't vanish back to the forest, as he did his best to avoid the townsfolk who were outside at night, as he dragged the dead body with him. He soon came across a house that seemed rather simple, and a bit near the forest he was living at. He checked the door's to see if it was unlocked to no avail. He needed to get inside, and he needed to do it fast. He went near the back of the house, and found a cellar door for him to climb into.

Creature went down this cellar, finding a bunch of barrel's of hard apple cider, and other beverages. He journeyed up the cellar, and into the house before checking to see if no one was home. He took his corpse to the bathroom, and silently got into the tub, leaving the door cracked. Finally, able to enjoy his meal, Creature looked down at his hunted prey, as he began sinking his big teeth into the corpse, and began devouring his meal....growling, and snarling as he did what he could to survive.

Lotus had woke up with a hangover, as she shook it off, and soon managed to collect her thought's, and remembered that she drank some of her favorite apple cider, and passed out, leaving her with a big, happy smile on her face. She was about to go to sleep, when she heard these weird noises coming from her downstair's bathroom. Strange....what is that noise.....what time is it? Lotus thought to herself, as she looked at the clock. Her coltfriend still had 30 minutes before he got home, as she continued listening to the strange noise coming from her downstairs bathroom. Did he get home early? Why did he go in the bathroom first, what exactly is he doing in there? Lotus pondered.

She got up, not bothering to cover herself, as she was in her undegarment's, and journeyed downstair's before noticing that the door to the bathroom was cracked open, and the light's were on, still hearing the strange, awful sound. What the hell is that noise, and why is it coming from my bathroom? Lotus Moon asked herself in thought, as she continued downstair's, quietly before coming across the door. She could barely make out what was going on, as she opened the door fully to see what was going on. Lotus Moon's heart dropped, her eyes widened with fear of what she had seen.

Instead of expecting, her coltfriend, or some form of her electrical equipment of her's on, and under a piece of furniture, making the loud noise.....a 9 foot tall Anthromorphic Great White Shark that was tearing the flesh off a Equestrian Unicorn's corpse, chewing the pieces of flesh, and swallowing it, as it was dining on the meal. It had sensed Lotus Moon, opening, and currently standing near the doorway of the bathroom, as it had stopped eating, and turned it's head to her, it's glowing red eyes staring at Lotus Moon, blood dripping from it's maw. The towering, unknown predatory beast, stood up at it's full height, and let out a loud, thundering roar.

Lotus Moon shrieked, as she ran out of the bathroom, using her magic to attack the huge Sharklantean. She used her most powerful, and toughest spell's, but since this was creature that fed on being's with Equestrian Magic.....it was also un-affected by the magic she was shooting at him. The Sharklantean who not only had chased after her, roared, as he continued his pursuit. Lotus Moon, really didn't have anywhere to hide upstairs, and decided to do something sneaky. She went into a secret corner of her room, and used a spell to make herself invisible. The massive towering beast, stormed upstair's, and came to a stop, as Lotus Moon covered her loud breathing.

The Sharklantean scanned the room with his blood vision, her spell keeping her safe from being spotted by his impressive eye sight. Just what is this thing....I've never seen it before, I'd be more interested in studying it if it wasn't trying to eat me Lotus thought to herself, as the Sharklantean continued scanning the room. The Sharklantean stopped short, as he raised his huge snout high into the air, and began sniffing for her scent. Lotus Moon's eyes widened in horror, as a new thought came across her mind. THERE'S NO WAY......He can't possibly...... Lotus's mind stuttered, as the Sharklantean sniffed her out.

Lotus Moon, barely saw the attack coming, as it attacked like a shark in water, it's speed immiedietly increased when one of it's senses locked on it's prey. The creature attacked, as she jumped out of the way. The Sharklantean managed to get a small nibble on her left shoulder, near her neck before slamming into the wall, missing her. HOW DID HE KNOW!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Lotus internally screamed, as the Sharklantean got it's jaw unstuck, spitting out wood, as it roared...angrily chasing her. Lotus Moon was able to run downstair's with the Sharklantean close behind her. He used his long claw's, and gave her a painful swipe, as she crashed into the bottom kitchen cupboard's.

Lotus Moon groaned loudly, as she did her best to shake the powerful hit off, as the Sharklantean closed in on her with a powerful growl. The toaster had unplugged from the electrical cord's that coursed with small bit's of electricity. Lotus Moon getting an idea, grabbed the cord's, and jammed them into the Sharklantean's chest. The Sharklantean roared in pain, as many volt's of electricity coursed through it's body. The Great White Sharklantean stumbled backward, as it regained it's composure, as it roared at her angrily before launching itself through her roof, and vanished into the night.

Lotus was panting heavily before feeling her eyes getting weak, as she blacked out.

Lotus Moon could barely make out the voices that were calling to her, until she fully opened her eyes, as an Equestrian police officer's voice rang out to her, as she re-gained consciousness. "Miss.....are you alright?" The mare asked, as Lotus Moon woke up before looking at the mare, and remembering what had happened.

"Yeah....I'm alright....ugh" Lotus Moon groaned, as she held her head, as the mare spoke.

"Ma'am do you know exactly what happened here?" The officer, asked, as Lotus looked at her before speaking with a lingering question in her mind.

"Who....called you?" Lotus Moon asked, as the mare stepped back, as her coltfriend ran up to her, and gave her a big hug.

"LOTUS.....LOTUS YOUR ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!" Her coltfriend panicked, as she held him, relishing that he was safe, and that he came home.

"I'm alright Saphirus, and I'm glad your okay" She smiled, as she let the warmth of her coltfriend's body be close to her. After their hug, and a romantic kiss between the two, Saphirus was the first to speak. "Lotus what happened?" He asked, as Lotus replied, as the officer also listened with keen interest.

"I....had woken up, after one of my late night routines, from working on my next novel, and began hearing an awful noise coming from the downstair's bathroom.....that's when....it attacked me." Lotus explained, as Saphirus, and the officer gave her a peculiar look.

"What....attacked you?" The officer asked, as Lotus Moon answered to the best of her ability.

"I don't know....I've never seen anything like it....it was a huge, shark like creature that had arm's, leg's, and could breath out of water....it was fast, and terrifying with very keen senses. I never was able to understand more, I shocked it with exposed wiring from my toaster, and it took off running." Lotus Moon explained, as the officer spoke again.

"What about the dead Unicorn body we found in that tub?" The officer asked, as Lotus reply.

"That apparently was it's meal....before it attacked me, it was eating the ponies, corpse" Lotus explained, as the officer sighed.

"Judging by the very little of decay, she was killed very recently, no doubt by the creature you two saw" The officer said, as the sound of the front door opening was heard, as a suited, bat pony royal guard walked in. Saphirus recognized her, as one of the highest ranking field officer's who was known for taking over, military operation's. This bat pony mare.....was Echo. Echo walked into the house, as she spoke to the police officer.

"Although it is very kind of you to help, officer, I need you to relay every single bit of information to me, as soon as possible" Echo told the mare, as she scoffed in both disbelief, and also sounding offended.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THE MEANING OF THIS.....WHY ARE YOU GETTING INVOLVED!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" The officer shouted, as Echo spoke.

"Becasue in case you didn't figure it out yet, had you payed attention, you would have known that the unicorn that was killed, dragged, and being eaten in that tub, was one of the Solar Royal Guard's for Princess Twilight Sparkle....and since something killed a guard in their sleep, then this is now a full on investigation, especially if her best friend is still friend's with Shining Armor" Echo spoke, as the mare shouted, clearly angry.

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!" She shouted, as Echo walked up to her, staring her deep in the eye, and growled.

"This is called, protocol......DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!" Echo hissed, as the officer let out the equivalent of mini grumbles of annoyance that was sometimes heard from Princess Twilight Sparkle. The officer gave Echo what Lotus has told her, as Echo theorized the situation.

"Lotus....Saphirus, you have made friend's with us before, but just this once is it okay if you come to me with Canterlot....I may have to sort this situation out for the Princess herself." Lotus Moon stood up, knowing full well that she was going to get herself into another adventure.....probably the biggest one she had ever had before staring Echo in the eye, and spoke.

"I.....am willing to go, if your wanting to go with me?" She asked Saphirus, as her coltfriend gave her a smile.

"If your going on another adventure Lotus, then I am making sure I ain't sitting this one out.....of course I'll go with you" Saphirus told her, before pulling her in for a quick kiss, that they enjoyed before separating from it, and preparing for their departure to Canterlot

Twilight Sparkle did not like the situation she was presented with, or heard of. After all these year's before she was given Celestia, and Luna's throne with Spike as her ambassador....a new Equestrian creature show's up. Where did it come from? Where does it live? Does this thing feed on ponies? These question's were troubling to hear of the most, as she had castle that had been formed here for quite sometime. Lotus, and Saphirus were summoned to Twilight's castle due to being the only one's who survived the incident.

Twilight Sparkle sighed mentally, waiting forever for the council she had summon to finally arrive. The first mare that appeared from the Crystal Empire was an old friend of Twilight Sparkle, as she beamed with joy. "CADENCE!!!!!!!!" Twilight Sparkle cried, as Cadence saw Twilight Sparkle, and returned the smile of joy before running up, and hugging her best friend happily before both of them began their little nutty dance.

"Sunshine, sunshine ladybugs awake...clap your hand's, and do a little shake" They both said in unison before giggling like two school fillies, as they talked, and got each other caught up with their kingdoms. After this the two seemed to be unnerved, as Cadence spoke.

"Is it really true, that a new Equestrian species has been discovered, and had eaten said guard, and attacked a respectful friend of the reformed hives?" Cadence asked, as Twilight Sparkle nodded.

"Indeed, I checked the body myself, and had Fluttershy investigate the corpse...she said that the only thing that could cause bitemark's like that was the Equestrian creature that Lotus Moon saw" Twilight answered, as Cadence sighed.

"Where could a creature like that even come from, is it true that the other forest near Equestria has never been explored?" Cadence asked, as Twilight sighed.

"That might be it's hiding spot, as for where it lives.....I don't know....which is why I summoned the council for this" Twilight Sparkle answered, as she, and Cadence went to the same room, where the meeting would be held. A third party showed up, as a rather thicc, but also slender Changeling appeared who immiedietly rushed up to Lotus, and inspected her entire body.

"Lotus, are you okay, is your feet okay, is your body okay.....ARE YOU OKAY!?!?!?!?!?!?" The Changeling shouted, as Lotus Moon calmed her best friend down.

"Don't worry Lovebug, I'm fine, it's SOOOO Nice to see you....." Lotus smiled, as both of them gave a quick peck on each other's cheek's, as Lovebug smiled.

"It's nice to see you to marefriend" Lovebug smiled, before noticing Saphirus.

"SAPHIRUS!!!!!" She smiled, as she gave him a huge hug, while letting burying his entire face into her cleavage, as Saphirus was doing his best not to blush, as he let out a muffled response. She yanked him out of her cleavage, as his face was rather red with embarrassment.

"I-I-It's nice to see you again Lovebug, glad to see your doing okay" Saphirus chuckled awkwardly, as Lotus Moon had a rather jealous pouty face, but this was considered normal, because Lovebug liked poking fun at Lotus Moon whenever she could. Lovebug had exchanged stories with the two, while including some gossip here, and there which let them connect once again. Lovebug began heading to the conference room, as she took in a deep sigh.

"I'm not going to like this....not one bit" Lovebug muttered to herself before entering the conference room, and taking her seat.

"Ah, Lovebug Sektiss.....it's good to see that you can join us, and help us at least get started" Twilight Sparkle explained, as Lovebug Sektiss sighed, putting her feet on the huge conference table.

"I would at least hear you out Twilight Sparkle, but it would help if the other Queen was here" Lovebug Sektiss told her, as Twilight Sparkle had a growl in her voice.

"I summoned, BOTH OF YOU, Where is she? Twilight Sparkle snarled, as Lovebug Sektiss gave her, a weird look.

"That's the thing, I contacted Chrysalis a while ago, and even sent a friend of mine to investigate, according to the response I got....she didn't seem like.....herself, she seemed distant" Lovebug Sektiss explained, until the familiar Changeling Queen herself came in with a rather downed look on her face, as she mumbled that she was here, then took a seat without another word.

"Chrysalis, are you alright?" Twilight asked, as Chrysalis looked up with a defeated look on her face. Although Twilight, and Cadence were at first uncomfortable with Chrysalis being reformed, they eventually got used to her even if she still was a lewd one, but that didn't really matter. Chrysalis looked up, at Twilight Sparkle, as she looked all of them deeply in the eyes.

"I am....and am not, I know that we are here to discuss about the creature that killed the guard that we found dead, and I know that it's hiding in that forest, and that we are choosing on the vote of to capture, or kill it. I vote the first option, but also won't complain if we resort to the second one....because I know what it is" Chrysalis told them, as Lovebug Sektiss gave her a unique stare.

"How can you know what that thing is....Changeling's have never seen the type of creature that Lotus saw" Lovebug Sektiss pondered, as Chrysalis turned to her, and spoke.

"Oh, but we have Sektiss, even when you grew up in our hive, I'm surprised you didn't sneak into my old library just to find out more of Changeling history" Chrysalis smiled, giving her a teasing grin.

"What exactly is this beast Chrysalis?" Cadence asked, as Chrysalis let out a deep sigh before speaking.

"It's called a Sharklantean....we discovered them many years ago, when my species sought to explore more of Equestria than just this continent. Beyond Manehatten's ocean there is an entire world of life, and oceanic life in way's that my species had never seen before. They wanted to feed on the love of all the creatures out there, and make the biggest Changeling Empire, and hive for them to use. Sadly the biggest race that not only caused them to bring them to the brink of extinction is the very same race of creature that attacked Lotus Moon....the Sharklantean's" Chrysalis explained, as Lovebug spoke.

"Why wasn't this story told in hive school?" Lovebug Sektiss asked, as Chrysalis turned to her, and spoke.

"Because it was marked as the biggest, humiliating defeat in Changeling history, and the near complete destruction of the entire Changeling race, and was the reason we were banished to the Badland's.....besides, it was a war between the two that was fought.....and it wasn't pleasant" Chrysalis replied, looking down at herself with shame, and guilt plastered all over her face.

"If it's from the farthest of Equestria's ocean, than what the hell is it doing here, and why did it attack, and eat one of Twilight's guard's?" Cadence asked, as Chrysalis looked up at them, and replied.

"I don't know....in fact I really don't know much about that species which is why I suggest capturing, and studying it with all our capability....perhaps we can get our answer's." Chrysalis replied, as Lovebug Sektiss, and Twilight nodded.

"Agreed, if we capture this creature we can put it in a tank, and see if we can study it with ease" Twilight Sparkle told them, as Cadence for some reason felt a little uneasy before speaking.

"I'm in, although for some reason there's a part of me that is thinking that this is a bad idea." Cadence told them, as they all began to prepare a search party to find this Sharklantean.

Everyone had made sure that they carried sword's, and spear's just in case as a back up, while many carried a few net's, and a cage to bring it back. Saphirus was defiently going to learn more about this creature, and Sektiss, and Chrysalis were also going just in case thing's would go south. Saphirus was getting his stuff ready before seeing Lotus Moon following close behind him. "Lotus what do you think your doing?" Saphirus asked, as Lotus spoke.

"I'm going with you" Lotus told him, as Saphirus spoke.

"Like hell you are....that thing almost killed you when it was trying to eat that pony.....and now you want to go straight into it's DEN!?!?!?!?!?!?" Saphirus told her, as Lotus Moon gave him an ice gold glare at him, while placing her hand's on her hip's.

"I am curious about this creature that they want to capture, and if my coltfriend is risking his life to ensure it's capture, and study then I am going with you, whether you like it, or not" Lotus Moon puffed, as Saphirus could not argue with his marefriend, as he sighed.

"Fine" He spoke, as Lotus prepared herself for the short forest exploration in the night sky.

Creature was a bit angry not being able to finish his meal, but he was glad to be able to eat what he could. Too hungry, and unable to devour his primary food source, he swam in the fresh water's, hunting, and eating the fish that swam in the huge lake he had. He really hated how tiny the magic was inside their bodies, but he still needed to feed. No matter how much he ate, his body was starving of feasting off magic. His hunger didn't make him think straight, times he wanted to snap back to his civil self....but couldn't. The pain in his belly continued to ache for magic, and food. He looked up at the sky, his blood vision returning, and his heightened instinct kicking in for a source of food.

Creature's Sharklantean senses went off, as his blood instinct's detected many Equestrian life form's approaching.....two of them very familiar that he did not want to deal with, but right now.....he needed to feed, and drive the intruder's from his survival home.
