Sunset's Special Detention

Everyone haves' future plans for Sunset Shimmer

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

(Canterlot Highschool, Friday night)

The Fall formal school dance at CHS has officially come to a closed. All the students had left after having a great time. Twilight and Spike were having one last conversation with their new friends, and Sunset along with Snips and Snail’s began working on the school wall that Vice-Principal Luna had them do. They weren't expected to get much done. Let alone rebuild the wall by themselves. This was just something to keep them busy until she calls them over the intercom to come to her office where they will be given their punishments.

Sunset was surprised that she didn't find herself in the back of a police car right about now or that she wasn't immediately expelled. But hey she's not complaining. But she still fears what her punishment will be, but she was more worried for her two loyal cohorts than herself. That is a new feeling for the bacon-hair teen. Worrying for someone other than herself. Whatever that Rainbow laser did to her. It did more than just turned her back to normal. It felt like it has open doors inside her that she never knew existed. Unleashing emotions, she never knew she had or hadn't felt in a very long time. What was most certain to her is that the old Sunset is dead, and its place is a brand-new blank slate Sunset that was given a second chance to be a better person and if the rainbooms are truly willing. They are the ones to teach the one lesson that Princess Celestia tried to teach her. The magic of friendship, and this time she is more than willing to learn.

It would seem that Twilight had went back to Equestria after saying goodbye to her new friends, because the Rainbooms were making their way towards the school destroyed entrance. They walk up to Sunset, who was just about to get started on repairing the wall along with Snips and Snails. Until one of the girls called out to her getting her attention.

“Hey Sunset!” Said Pinkie.

Sunset turned to the five girls standing at the bottom of the stone stairs. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. Have come wanting to speak to the now ex-bully.

“If its ok, can we talk with Ya for a bit?” Asked AppleJack.

“We promise we won't take too much of your time, darling.” Rarity assured. “We wouldn't want you to get into any more trouble.”

Sunset took a moment to think about that. She really does want to talk with them and if its quick she can focus on the wall. Plus, it's not like they were going to get much done anyway before Luna calls for them and it probably won't be that long till she does. Sunset turns to Snips and Snails who had already begun the repairs. “You guys don't mind if I talk to them real quick, do you?”

That caught the two boys by surprise. Sunset never asked for permission she just does whatever she wants whenever she wanted. They could tell that she definitely changed after seeing her cry in that crater. They don't think any less of her. They can see that she wants to be a better person. Good or bad they will still follow her to the ends of the earth if she demands it.

The two shakes their heads. They don't mind at all.

“Thanks!” She says with a sincere genuine smile. The first time the two boys ever seen her give a smile that wasn't faked or evil like. It really warmed their hearts to see Sunset give them of all people the first chance to give a real true happy smile like that.

Sunset made her way down the steps to meet with the girls. She was actually afraid to talk with them after causing them so much trouble. Especially Rarity and Fluttershy. She doesn't know how she could properly apologize to them. Even she knows just saying “I’m sorry” won't cut it. She humiliated Rarity just to be crowned Princess of the Spring Fling, she constantly picked on Fluttershy for no other reason besides the fact that she was a complete doormat, and worst of all she tricks the five girls into breaking up their friendship. Even if Twilight asked them to take care of her and teach her friendship. What reason would they even want to help her at all? Only one way to find out.

Sunset stood before the five girls looking very nervous. She could barely look them in eye or say a word. Luckily the most talkative of the group was the one break the awkward silence before it can get any more awkward.

“Thanks for meeting with us Sunny.”

Sunset was surprised by the sudden nickname. She sure wasn't expecting it. But then again this is Pinkie Pie of course. Sunset knows enough about her (At least what she can actually make sense of with going insane) to know that this is how she is. Plus, the friendly gesture gives Sunset the courage she needs to look at the girls straight in the eye speak.

“No problem, Pinkie!” Sunset said. While rubbing a hand on her left arm, nervously.

“Are you ok, Sunset?” Fluttershy asked worriedly. “You're not hurt from what...... happened earlier, are you?”

Sunset stared at Fluttershy in disbelief. She couldn't believe that the girl she picked on constantly, the girl she has tormented for three years just for fun.

Is worried about her and asking if she ok.

“I-I’m fine Fluttershy. Despite how I look and what happened. I’m perfectly fine. No injuries whatsoever. Nurse Redheart confirmed it when I was brought to her office earlier.”

“I’m glad that you weren't hurt, darling but it seems your outfit wasn't spared.” Said Rarity as she steps up to inspect Sunset’s clothes. “The dirt alone was bad enough, but you also have small rips and tears here and there. Including your signature leather jacket.” Sunset just stood there and watch as Rarity inspects her clothes. The fashionista walked around the bacon-hair teen, while using her keen eye to check every inch of the damage clothing. Once she was done, she stood back in front of Sunset. “Hmm, the damage isn't too bad, I could easily repair your jacket right now in a flash. Make it good as new. I could tell it means a lot to you and would be awful if you had to throw it out and have to buy a new one.” Rarity held out her hand. “May I, darling? It will be quick I promise.”

Sunset just couldn't believe what's happening right now. Rarity is offering to repair her jacket. She’s actually concerned for her state of dress. If anything, despite her care and love for clothes. You would think seeing Sunset’s outfit be ruined would bring her joy. Especially after Sunset ordered Snips and Snails to dump water on her on the night of the Spring Fling. Thus, humiliating Rarity in front of everyone and making her run away in tears. Which allowed Sunset to win by default.

And just to add salt to injury and make sure the fashionista doesn't try anything to undermine her. Sunset blackmailed Rarity with a video of her alone in her shop, dancing and making out with a male mannequin that the fashionista pretend it was her prince. Sunset threatens to post the video online if Rarity decides to try anything funny. That alone was enough to keep the purple hair girl quiet and not try and do anything stupid.

Rarity haves every reason to hate Sunset for what she did to her, they all do. So Sunset wasn't entirely sure if they were really concerned and wants to give her second chance and be friends or was, she just a charity case and they’re only doing this because Twilight asks them to. There was only one way to find out.

“Why?” Sunset whispered.

“What was that darling?” asked Rarity.

“Why are you being so nice to me?” Rarity drops her hand and back away. “And not just you Rarity but all of you.” Sunset gestures to the other girls. “I done many horrible things to you all including ruining your friendship.” Sunset turns to Fluttershy. “I constantly pick on you Fluttershy every chance I get. I treated you like crap every day because I knew you would never retaliate in any form or way.” Remembering how she treated Fluttershy filled Sunset with so much guilt. Tears threaten to fall from her eyes, but she held them back. “And you Rarity, I humiliated you in front of everyone at the Spring Fling. I stole the crown from you by playing dirty and ruined your dress. I even blackmailed you afterwards.” Tears began to flow down Sunset’s face. “And now you guys want to be nice to me and be my friends?” Sunset wipe away her tears and glared at the group. Not out of anger. She was just wants to know if they are being sincere or not.

“Look, I’m sorry for all the things I did to you all. I truly am.” Sunset let out a sigh. “I know just apologizing isn't enough to make up for everything I’ve done. I know that I got to prove it with actions, and I want to show everyone that I have changed, I really do want to learn about friendship, and I want you girls to teach me.” Sunset takes a moment to collect her thoughts. “But I don't know if you guys are doing all this because you actually do forgive me and really want to be my friend or that you are only doing this as a favor to Twilight because you feel that you owe her for helping you regain your friendship and defeating me.” Sunset takes a deep breath. “So, I want to make things clear right here and now. I want you five to be honest with me. Do you really want to be my friends or am I just a charity case to you guys? I also want to know if you still harbor any hatred towards me. It's best that you get it all out right now, because I don't want to go through with this whole friendship thing. When it turns out that deep down you guys never wanted to be my friends at all and just looking for an excuse, any excuse to ditch me at a moment's notice. So, what's your answer?”

The five friends took a moment to glance at one another. Silently deciding what to say next and at the very least who will speak first. With a heavy sigh, Applejack was the first to step up and speak.

“I’m not going to lie to you Sunset. Ah admit that deep down I still hate you for the things you did to me and mah friends, as well as for everyone else in the school.” Applejack’s words hurt Sunset, but she needed to hear them, she needed hear what they truly think about all this. Although the truth hurts it was better be honest with their feelings now, instead of keeping them bottled up and lie. After all honesty is one of the elements of harmony after all and the six girls knew this.

Rainbow speaks. “All you ever did was make everyone lives miserable for the past three years.”

Pinkie speaks. “You were a cold, heartless, meany who took pleasure in hurting others and took away their smiles.”

Fluttershy speaks. “You hurt me every time we run into each other. Sure, you were never physical, but you were very verbal and always made me feel bad about myself.” Fluttershy paused for a moment. “I used to love coming to school but after you started bullying me, you made me fear coming back.”

Rarity speaks. “And I admit I still harbor ill emotions after what you did to me at the Spring Fling. You ruin my dress and blackmail me afterwards.” Rarity sighed. “Not a day went by where I imagine wanting to get some kind of payback against you.... Even now I still do.” She said defectively.

Fluttershy nodded in agreement. “Me too!” she said a bit coldly. Shocking everyone that she can even feel such feelings like revenge.

“And ah supposed I speak for all of us. That if Twilight didn't ask us to. We wouldn't even bother trying to be your friend at all.” Said Applejack. The rest of the girls all nodded in agreement.

Despite how much the truth hurts. Sunset was happy that they were at least honest about their feelings towards her. Even if it means they weren't going to be friends at all.

“Thank you!” Sunset said with a small sad smile. “Thank you for being honest with me and again I'm sorry for the things I’ve done to you all.” Sunset sniffs. “You don't have to be my friends if you don't want to. I understand your feelings towards me, and you shouldn't be force into something if your hearts aren't really into it.”

“But that's just it, Sunset!” Said Rainbow. “We really do want to be your friends.”

“And give you a second chance.” Added Fluttershy.

“A real one!” Said Pinkie.

After drying her tears. Sunset looked at the girls with a confused look on her face. “But why?” She asked.

“Ya’ll can thank Twilight for that.” Said Applejack. “After everything she heard everyone say about you, back in the gym. She wanted to make sure that everyone gives you a fair chance at redeeming yourself.”

That got Sunset’s attention. She is curious to know the details of what Applejack was talking about. “What do you mean about everything she heard? What happened exactly?”

Rarity speaks. “Well, it's like this, darling. After Vice-Principal Luna gave the closing ceremony speech. Indicating that the dance was over. Before letting everyone leave, she wanted to know about if you have been treating any of the other students badly in some way or form.”

Fluttershy speaks. “It turns out that after you tried to frame Twilight for thrashing the gym earlier today. She figured you clearly did the something similar for the past three dances that you won but she wanted to know if that was the extent of it all.”

Sunset let out a deep sigh. “Let me guess. Everyone told her about my bullying?”

The Five girls nodded.

“Including us.” Pinkie admitted. “Luna wanted to know everything so she can give a fair, just punishment.”

“Everyone you hurt jump at the chance expose your crimes and finally get justice for everything you had done to them.” Said Rainbow.

“And with the help from Ms. Cheerilee, Ms. Harshwhinney, Coach Spitfire, and Professor Cranky Doodle. They were able write down a list of every bad thing you have done from each student you hurt.” Said Applejack.

Rarity speaks. “Like me both Octavia and Bon-Bon explained how you cheated them out of winning the first two school dance princess contest that you won, and Microchip even told the teacher how you smash his brand-new laptop beyond repair. He explained how he work so hard to earn the money to buy it and just because he was working to help me advertise my campaign for Princess of the Spring Fling. You, Snips, Snails just barge into the AV club room and just thrash the place.”

That made Sunset wince. She remembered that day well. She wanted to stop any and all chances of Rarity winning the crown. So, when she learned that the AV club president, Microchips and his club members were helping Rarity with her campaign. Of course, she went and paid them a visit. Like Rarity said. Sunset and her two lackeys went to the club room and thrash their equipment including Micros laptop, which Sunset herself utterly destroyed.

Sunset knows she haves a lot to make up for and she knows she’ll have to make it up to Microchips for destroying his laptop. No doubt he’ll want her to pay him back for it, but Sunset doesn't have that kind of money to throw around if it ends up being too much, making it up to Rarity, Bon Bon, and Octavia, for cheating them out of princess of the dance is one thing, but knowing that she has caused more problems to these girls than just that, that she also has to make up for is another. Especially Octavia, and how Sunset took advantage of her one weakness. Oh well, that's a bridge she’ll cross when she gets to it, right now she got things to worry about now.

“Ok, so what did Twilight do to get you guys to give me a true second chance?”

Applejack spoke. “Twilight stood there and listen as everybody including us, tell Luna and the teachers everything about your bullying. It was then that she realized how much trouble you caused and how much we all hated you.”

“So, Twilight got on stage and took a microphone and asked everyone to give you a second chance. Saying that you changed and wants to be a better person.” Pinkie explained. “She knows that you can't get away from whatever punishment that will befall you, and she knows everyone can't just let go of their hatred that easily. So, all she asked is that everyone would try and give you a real chance and not let our hatred cloud our judgement and fool us into thinking that you are still bad, when you truly are trying to change for the better.”

“She also said the same to us before stepping through the portal.” Added Rainbow.

(Flashback, minutes earlier)

Twilight, Spike and their five new friends stood in front of the horse statue, ready to say their goodbyes as they gave each other one last group hug. After the hug was broken, Twilight looks over towards Sunset who was hiding behind a wall just as Vice-Principal Luna came up to the ex-bully to give her trowel, along with Snips and Snails walking up from behind with a wheelbarrow full of bricks, two trowels and a bucket of cement.

“You'll look out for her, won't you?” Twilight asked the girls.

“Of course, we will.” Rarity agreed. “Although I do expect some sort of apology for last spring's debacle.”

“I have a feeling she'll be handing out a lot of apologies.” Said Twilight. “Also, I expect you girls to really give Sunset a second chance, a real chance. What I said back at the dance goes double for you five.” She said sternly. “Please don't let the wrongs she did in the past stop you from being actual true friends with her. I know it's wrong for me ask this of you. A friendship shouldn’t be built on someone feeling… obligated and I don't want that. So, if you five do decide to be her friend, don't do it because I ask or even as a favor to me. Do it because you really want to... and if you can't find it in your hearts to forgive her. Then don't bother trying to be her friend because I fear that you guys might do something you’ll regret deeply and ruin Sunset’s belief in the magic of friendship with your betrayal along with the fact that you five never wanted to be her friends to begin with.”

The rainbooms took a moment to really think about Twilight’s words and realize she was right. They each still harbor deep resentment towards Sunset after everything she’d done. They know that if Twilight hadn't asked them to, they would have never even thought about befriending her.

One last thing crosses their minds that helped made their final decision. They thought back to earlier when Sunset was in the crater, looking up at everyone with tears in her eyes.

“I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know there was another way.”

“All I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart. I don't know the first thing about friendship.”

Thinking about it more deeply. It doesn't feel like this was another one of Sunset’s tricks. Those definitely weren't crocodile tears neither. The rainbow laser must have done more to Sunset than just turn her back to normal. The sadness in her eyes says as much. Not only that but something deep inside each of them was telling them to give Sunset a chance, to help her, guide her, and be there for her. All this was enough for them to push back any hatred they had for the ex-bully from their hearts and open up to the possibility that Sunset is no longer the girl she once was and all she really needed were good friends in her life and the Rainbooms will be her friends. Not because they were asked to, but because they truly and deeply want to.

The five girls look to one another and nodded in silent agreement. They each knew what the other was thinking as they all wanted to do the same thing, befriend Sunset Shimmer. After settling their agreement, they all look to Twilight with determination in their eyes.

“Now don't ya worry about Sunset, sugar cube!” Said Applejack. “Ah believe, ah speak for all of us when I say that we do want to be Sunset’s friend because we truly want to be and not because you ask.”

“And we’re willing to put the past behind us and give her a real chance.” Said Rarity.

Fluttershy nodded. “mmm, hmm!”

“We'll be the bestest best friends EVER!” Shouted Pinkie.

“Yeah, you can count on us. We'll definitely show Sunset what having friends by your side is all about.” Said Rainbow.

Twilight looks to the girls and smiles. She could tell that they truly mean what they and, in that moment, she knew, Sunset was truly in good hands.

“Thank you, girls.” Twilight felt something tapping her leg. She looks down to see Spike getting her attention.

“We better get going.” He said. Pointing at the moon. The portal was about to close. So, it was now time for them to leave.

Twilight nodded to Spike, before turning her attention back to girls.

“I know we've only been friends for a short time, but I'm going to miss all of you so much. [sigh]” Twilight and Spike said their final goodbyes as the they step into the portal, which closed seconds after they step through.

(Flashback end)

******

After hearing the girl's story. Sunset just stood there, silently, as she contemplated on what she just heard and the more the girl’s words sank in, the more it warmed her heart, as the realization fully took hold. Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie really do forgive her, and they truly want to be her friend. Sunset couldn't help but smile, as she took off her jacket and held it out for Rarity to take.

Rarity held the tattered leather jacket in her arms. “Does this mean!?”

Sunset nodded. “Yes, I can see that you guys are being sincere about truly forgiving me and I really look forward to hanging out with you all.”

Pinkie’s smile widens as she then jumps forward and gave Sunset a big hug. “And we look forward to hanging out with you too!” pinkie let's go of Sunset. “And don't you worry, I promise we will not destroy your trust in us as well as friendship, by believing that you are responsible for cyber bullying us and the rest of the school, by spreading our secrets, when it's obviously clear that someone as smart as you, who is good at covering her tracks, wouldn't be nowhere near stupid enough to put her own silhouette as her profile picture on MyStable, thus practically telling everyone that you're the culprit, when it's obvious you're being framed.”

Sunset just stood there silently for a few moments, completely confused at what Pinkie just said. “Pinkie!? Why would you think something like that would happen?”

Pinkie shrugs. “No reason, it was just a hunch.”

Now Sunset was really confused. “What do you mean it was just a hunch after explaining it in such details?”

“Sunset!” Applejack called out. “Let me give you some friendly advice... Just go with it and don't think about too much.”

Rainbow chimes in. “She's right, if you try to understand and explain Pinkie’s actions, you will literally drive yourself insane and would have to be check into a mental hospital... Just like that Doctor Sanders guy a few years back.”

“What happened to him?” ask Sunset.

“You don't want to know.” Said Rainbow.

“Just know that whenever Pinkie does something like this, just remember that she just being Pinkie Pie.” Said Fluttershy.

“So, true, darling!” Rarity said as she walked up to Sunset. “Here you go, Sunset. One leather jacket, good as new.” She said as she held up the newly repaired jacket to the bacon-haired teen.

Sunset took her jacket and examined it. It looks absolutely brand new. You could hardly tell that it was once a tattered mess moments ago. Despite knowing about her incredible skills, it still amazes Sunset, that the fashionista was able to fix it so fast. “Wow, Rarity! It looks great,” Sunset puts on her jacket. “Thanks!”

“You're welcome, darling! I’m always happy to help out a friend!”

Rainbow steps up to speak. “So anyway, Sunset, is Luna making you three repair the whole front entrance?”

Sunset turned to look behind her at the giant hole in the wall. Snips and Snails were hard at work, which reminded Sunset that she needs to get to work to.

Sunset turns her attention back to her new friends. “Nah! She just having us do this until she calls us to her office to give us our punishments.” Sunset frowns. “And after everything I did tonight, along with all my bullying, who knows how severe my punishment going to be.”

“Look on the bright side.” Said Pinkie. “The lack of police showing up to arrest you is a good sign that you're not going to jail.”

That lift Sunset’s spirits up, but not by much. “True, but she could still expel me.”

“pfft, oh please! If she wanted to kick you out, she would have just done so from the start.” Rarity countered. “Why else did Luna take the time after the dance to gather information about your past misdeeds from all the students?”

Sunset took a moment to let Rarity’s words sank in and realized that she's right. It would be easy to believe that Princess Twilight’s speech about forgiveness would be what swayed the principals, but that was after the students told Luna everything the ex-bully has done to them, and Luna was the one who asked for everyone to speak up. Thinking about it some more, it doesn't even look as if Celestia and Luna aren't treating this as serious as one would expect. Hell no one is and that just makes Sunset even more confused. Seriously.

By putting on a magic crown Sunset turned into a She-Demon.

And then forgiven by Twilight. The students just went back to the school gym to continue the dance, like everything that just transpired was no big deal, and Luna just had her rebuild the wall for the time being, while Celestia heads to her office to call the school board and ask them to send professional construction workers to fix the damages.... Just what the hell is wrong with these people. They’re more upset about her past bullying then they are when she became a literal demon. Heck her new friends are no different. She attempted to kill them along with Twilight and not once brought it up. As if it was a minor inconvenience, or they have forgotten, or flat out didn't give a shit.

As confusing and crazy all this is. Sunset isn't going to complain about it. If it means she's doesn't have to worry about expulsion or being sent to prison. Then she's not going to question it anymore or bring it up. Just like what Applejack told her about Pinkie Pie antics, Just go with it and don't think about it too much.

Sunset shrugs. “You're right, Rarity, I’m just worrying myself over nothing.” Though Sunset still wonders what her actual punishment will be. She’ll just have to wait and see. Speaking of which. “Is there anything else you guys need to say, because I should really get back to work on the wall.” she said pointing a thumb over her shoulder.

“Oh, there is one thing I want to bring up, now that we all are officially friends.” Said Pinkie.

“And what’s that?” Asked Applejack.

“Now, that Sunset our friend and it's our job to teach her about the magic of friendship, so why don't we get together and have a SLUMBER PARTY!” Pinkie cheered loudly.

“A slumber party!?” Sunset Questioned.

Pinkie nodded. “Yeppers, the five of us would sleep over each other's houses all the time. And would be a great way for the 6 of us to start bonding, then by all of us getting together to talk and play and have fun time.”

“That's a great idea, Pinkie!” Said Rainbow. “We could definitely use it after being separated for so long.” Rainbow eyes widen in horror as she realized what she just said. She quickly looks over to Sunset with a frantic look. “Don't take that the wrong way, Sunset.” She said. Shaking her head and hands to indicate she wasn't trying to hurt her. “I wasn't trying to offend you or anything I was just- you know- I mean-” Rainbow face palmed herself. “Ahh man, I’m sorry, Sunset!”

Sunset gives a light laugh. “It's ok Rainbow, I understand what you meant, and I take no offense. I did break up you guys' friendship after all!”

“Be that as it may, darling.” Rarity chimed in. “We shouldn't bring up your past repeatedly and try to simply shrug it off by saying no offense, like it was no big deal and not once consider that you really were offended, and we were just hurting your feelings.”

“Rarity right.” Said Rainbow. “I don't want to make you feel bad by constantly bringing up the bad things you done. You're still mentally recovering after what happened and so we need to be careful of what we say around you. Hense the phrase too soon.

The other girls nodded, showing their agreement to Rainbow’s statement. Sunset couldn't be any happier. These five just keep proving how much they truly care about her. It only makes Sunset excited for this slumber party they want to do.

“Thanks for putting my feelings in consideration girls, that means a lot.” Said Sunset. “So how about that Slumber party! When are we going to have it?”

“I was hoping we could do it tomorrow night!” Pinkie answered. “We could even spend the day together and hang out before then.”

“That sounds good, but who’s going to host the sleep over?” Asked Applejack.

“I don't mind doing it!” Said Rarity. “It has been a while since our last sleep over at my place.”

“That sounds great, and we can all meet at Sugar Cube Corner tomorrow and spend the day hanging out until then.” Said Fluttershy. “That is if nobody busy with anything tomorrow.”

:applejackunsure: Enope!

:pinkiehappy:Nuh uh!

:rainbowderp:Not me!

:raritystarry:Not at all, darling!

“What about you, Sunset?” Asked Fluttershy. “Do you have anything planned for tomorrow?”

Sunset rubs the back her head nervously. “He, he, well originally my plan was to try and take over Equestria with my brainwash army, but clearly that’s not going to happen.”

“Well that at least means you don't have any plans for tomorrow.” Said Pinkie.

Sunset takes a moment to think about that. “That depends, what's tomorrow date?”

Rainbow takes out her phone and checks her calendar. Well, its September 28th, now, so tomorrow the 29th. Why?”

Sunset shrugs. “Well since I'm still living here. I have to remember pay my rent on the first of the month.”

That got the girls confused.

“What the hay does paying your rent have to do with you being busy all day?” Applejack asked.

“Oh, umm, nothing, really. It's just that I also have to do my monthly errands is all. It usually takes me all day to get done, which is why I would call the school to let the principals know that I have to a take a day off. I live alone in my apartment. So of course, I have to deal with these things on my own.”

Pinkie Pie raised an eyebrow. “That the reason why you always disappear every first of the month? To run errands!?”

“Yeah!” Said Sunset. “What other reason do you think I have?”

Pinkie takes a moment to think, then shrugs. “Eh, I have no clue.”

“Anyway, as long as Luna doesn't decide to give me weekend detention as my punishment. I’m free to do whatever.” Said Sunset.

“Well hopefully that won't happen, but just in case. May I borrow your cell phone, Sunny!?” Pinkie asked while holding out her hand.

Sunset reach into her skirt pocket to take out her phone. “Sure, what do you need it for?” She said as she handed Pinkie her phone.

Pinkie takes the phone. “I’m going to add all of our numbers to your contact list.” She says as she immediately got to work. “And then text your number to our phones, so we can do the same for yours.”

Sunset just nodded in agreement.

While Pinkie was in the middle of doing what she’s doing. Rarity spoke up.

“So, Sunset, have you ever been to a slumber party before?”

Sunset shook her head. “No! I never had friends back in Equestria, mainly because I thought they were a waste of my time, when I could be studying.”

"Then we definitely need to make your first slumber party amazing, first impressions can go a long way.” Rarity takes a moment to think. “I know we don't have to do anything big, our usual way of doing things is more than enough. Ohh! We need to think of a good party game, to play." Rarity declared.

"Yeah! Party games are fun!" Pinkie agreed cheerfully. As she handed Sunset back her phone, after finishing sharing everyone's number.

"I've got one!" Rainbow said. "And it's an awesome one, because we can all pick on Sunset Shimmer a little bit!"

Sunset Shimmer frowned. "Why would you want to pick on me?" she asked.

"Why wouldn't we wanna pick on you?" Rainbow retorted, sticking out her tongue. "I mean, you're our friend and all, and we've forgiven you, and we think you're awesome now, but..." She grinned cheekily. "You've kinda earned some payback, and you know it. Also you said you wanna make it up to us. So what’s a little teasing going to hurt."

"Oh, Rainbow Dash, don't be like that," Fluttershy said softly.

“I agree with fluttershy, darling.” Said Rarity. “After everything we just spoke about on not hurting Sunset’s feeling. You want to play a game where we would pick on her.”

“Except it's not what any of you think.” Rainbow countered. “I may have said we can pick on her, but I don't mean it in a cruel way.” Rainbow grined deviously. “I got something better in mind.” She turns to the bacon-hair teen. “So, what do you say Sunset? I promise it's all in good clean fun and I can tell you're more than tough enough to take it.”

Sunset sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine, get it out of your system," she said. "I do sort of deserve it..."

"Yes!" Rainbow cheered. "Okay girls...this is the game we're gonna play." A positively evil leer crossed her face as she leaned in; the others leaned in closer in anticipation. "Each of us is gonna take turns answering one question. And that question is...

"How would you do Sunset Shimmer?"

"WHAT?!" Sunset cried.

Rarity sat back, letting out a dramatic gasp. "Rainbow Dash! Honestly!"

"Oh my gosh, Dashie! That's so wrong!" Pinkie said, giggling.

Fluttershy's cheeks turned pink. "Do? You mean as in...?" She made a circle with the thumb and index finger of her right hand, then passed the index finger of her left hand through it repeatedly. At Rainbow's nod, she blushed harder. "Oh my..."

"I didn't know you were in the habit of having depraved sexual fantasies about me, Rainbow Dash," Sunset said, glaring at Rainbow.

"I'm so totally not!" Rainbow said. "I just wanna watch everybody get all awkward and find out just how sick you girls can be."

"Never as sick and depraved as you, Rainbow Dash," Rarity said archly, tossing her hair.

Rainbow stuck her tongue out at Rarity, before turning her sights back to Sunset. “Anyway, that's the game. You think you can handle each of us, talking about how we each want to fuck you?”

“I don't even get why you want to in the first place!” Said Sunset.

“Come on, you're smokin hot! Definitely the most hottest and sexiest girl in school! Who doesn't want to fuck you?”

Sunset thought about that, thinking of a few people she knows. Especially two of them she knows quite well, but she doesn't speak up on it.

"I wouldn't," Rarity said, turning her nose up. "A lady does not indulge in such lurid fantasies..."

"Oh, come on, after what she did to you at the Spring Fling?" Rainbow asked. "You gotta want some kind of dirty revenge..."

"I have absolutely no difficulty picturing Rarity in leather dominatrix gear," Sunset said. "Stiletto heeled boots and a whip and everything."

"Yeah, and then she'd tie you up and whip your hiney like a naughty child until you were crying like 'Waaaaaah, stoooooooooop, I'm sorry!' and then she'd tell you to call her queen and tell her what a dirty little whore you are!" Pinkie said.

"Goodness," Fluttershy said softly. "I...I can actually see that happening."

"Me too," Applejack said, eyes wide.

"Such imaginations you girls have!" Rarity said. "Why, I would...I would never dream of doing anything of the sort! Why, I am as pure as the driven snow!"

"Oh yeah?" Pinkie asked. She reached inside Rarity's purse and pulled out a long, phallic object with a vivid purple grip and a translucent pink shaft, revealing a vibrator apparatus and numerous small, glistening beads inside.

"UNHAND TOM THIS INSTANT!" Rarity screeched, making a diving grab for the dildo, but Pinkie dodge her, then ran away down the street as she yelled back to at her friends.”

“SORRY TO RUN OFF LIKE THIS YOU GUYS. AND SUNSET, CALL ME LATER IF BY CHANCE YOU DO GET WEEKEND DETENTION!” She yelled as she ran, with Rarity in hot pursuit.

”PINKIE PIE, GET BACK HERE, WITH TOM, THIS INSTANT!” Screamed Rarity.

As Rarity chased Pinkie down the road, the others stared at them for a long moment as they eventually disappeared from sight. Then, shaking her head, Sunset turned to Fluttershy. "What did I just witnessed?" she asked.

“Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie.” Fluttershy answered.

“Is she going to be, ok?”

“Don't worry you none, Sunset.” Said Applejack. “This kind of thing happens all the time. Sure, Rarity will be mad, but she’ll get over it.”

“So, what!? Pinkie haves a habit of stealing her friend's dildos?”

“Nope that was the first time she ever done something like that,” Rainbow snickers. “Though I’m more curious as to why Rarity brought a dildo school.”

“I don't want to know.” Said Aj. “Any who, we should get going too. We wasted enough of Sunset’s time, and she still needs to help with the wall. So, let's go before any of the teachers catch her slacking off and she gets into more trouble.”

“Agreed, we'll catch ya later, Sunset!” Said Rainbow as she walks off.

Fluttershy and AJ said their goodbyes as they followed behind Rainbow. Sunset said her goodbyes as she waved her new friends off. After they left, she went back to the destroyed entrance, grab her trowel, and began doing her part in the reconstruction.

Sunset apologizes to snips and snails for taking so long, but the two didn't mind at all. They were actually happy for her and that she actually made friends. That made Sunset happy, but also sad too.

She never saw Snips and Snails as friends, just as she never really saw Flash as her boyfriend. They were tools for her to use, nothing more. The only real difference is that she was willing to share some of her demon powers with her two cohorts, rewarding them for their loyalty to her. That and she thought it might make them forget about her actually putting out for them. It was how she got them to follow her in the first place. Stringing them along and made them believe that she’ll have sex with them someday, but Sunset never had any intentions of doing that, even now she doesn't.

But she knows she needs to tell them the truth and bring their Boss and minions relationship to a close, so they can move on. She’ll make sure to break the news to them soon, but for now she haves a wall to work on.
