Somewhere along a mountain pass a lone unicorn mare sat at the side of the pass glaring down the mountainside as she replayed the events that had occurred during the last few hours. She had been running a happy little village that she had felt was perfect and then a certain Alicorn and her meddling friends came and ruined everything, resulting in her having to run away after watching everything she worked hard for be destroyed. As she continued with her brooding she didn't notice a stallion walking up to her and didn't pay him any mind as he got close. It was only when he spoke when she finally turn to acknowledge his existence.

"Beautiful view isn't it?" the stallion said.

The mare didn't answer, instead keeping her focus on the stranger's attire. As she looked him up and down she could see that he was wearing a strange outfit that would've made him look like the Mysterious Mare Do Well, except it was teal in color with lime-green trim and he didn't have a mask to cover his head showing his light brown fur and short darker brown mane. His hat, however, was slightly longer and positioned in such a way that the mare could not see his eyes, leaving her with no idea what kind of expression he was making aside from what she could see with his mouth, which appeared to be set in a seemingly disarming smile.

Unable to read the stranger's thoughts the mare returned to glaring down the mountainside as she spoke, "Go away."

"I take it you're upset about something," the stallion said as he took a few steps forward before adding, "Starlight Glimmer."

After hearing her name from someone she clearly didn't know she narrowed her eyes as she turned her attention back to the stallion. "How do you know my name?" she demand.

The stallion merely chuckled as he gave his response, "well it seems that has gotten your attention, and I'm afraid I cannot tell you that." He held up his hoof before Starlight could say anything else, "but the real question should be 'what do want with me?'"

Starlight got up and entered a defensive stance as she glared at the offending stallion who thought he could fight her. Given her magical prowess and the fact that the stallion did not appear to be a unicorn and only had what looked like a long wooden staff for a weapon she felt that she had the upper hoof. She smirked at the stallion as she started to gather magic for a spell, "I don't know who you are or what you think you can do to me when I have..." Starlight stopped in mid sentence as she quickly realized that she was not able to use her magic.

Eyes wide with shock she then looked to her horn and then back at the the stallion with new found fear as she asked, "h-how are you stopping my magic? Y-your not even a unicorn."

Her fear only grew as the stallion's smile grew when he spoke, "Oh, did I happen to scare the almighty Starlight Glimmer who had managed to not only managed to make a staff capable of removing cutie marks from other ponies, including the cutie mark from a certain Alicorn Princess." His smile grew even more as Starlight's eye's widened even further.

"H-how do you even know about that?" Starlight asked, complete fear evident on her face.

The stallion chuckled once more as he gave his response, "I know a great deal about you. In fact, I know a great deal about everything there is to know in this world. But as far as how I know all this," He smiled even more as he leaned in, "I'm not going to tell you."

After hearing this Starlight went back to glaring at the stallion while trying to figure out what his motives were and trying to find a way to get away. She slowly started to shift to the right when she felt her hoof hit what seemed to be a wall. She looked to her right as she raised her right forehoof to see what is there and felt a smooth wall that she couldn't see to her right. She then set her hoof down and raised her left one and had the same result when she felt what was to her left. Her fear rising even further she turned back to the stallion who was now hold a glowing blue sphere in his right hoof, his smile even more prominent.

"You might want to look behind you," was all he said as he continued to smile.

Starlight slowly turned her head and saw a rectangular black plane floating vertically about a few feet away from her. She then looked back at the stallion as she asked, "Wh-what is that thing?"

The stallion continued to smile as he answered, "Since you asked that is a portal that leads to another world that is quite unlike this one. Not only that, but it is also one where survival is a must and the only way to survive is to either kill or be kill and the only way to get friends is to earn their respect." Starlight's eyes shot up as her fear intensified as he continued. "Now don't worry, I do plan on sending you back to your world eventually. I'll just leave you there long enough to where you will truly understand the importance of friendship. Lord Eternis might not like me doing this, but I'm pretty sure he'll let me off the hook given what you'll eventually do."

Starlight immediately shifted from fear to rage as she growled at the stallion, "I don't care who you are, but you are not going to get away with keeping me from taking my revenge." With that she charged at the stallion with the intent of tackling him and stopping whatever he's doing to keep her from using her magic. As she got closer to him she watched him raise his head allowing her to see his glowing greenish-blue eyes.

Her own eyes went wide as she saw a look of absolute confidence, and a hint of sadness, in those eyes as he spoke, "I'm afraid that I've already succeeded," with that he hurled the blue sphere at Starlight just as she was a few meters away and she hardly had any time to dodge as the sphere hit her, knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying straight towards the black portal. She never got a chance to scream as everything immediately went black.

The stallion watched as the portal he created vanished along with the mare and turned his head to looking out at the horizon. He stayed like this until he heard the faint buzzing of wings and turned his attention to a changeling with amethyst colored eyes and carapace. "Ah, I see that Aria had sent you?" the stallion asked as he turned to give the changeling his full attention.

The changeling nodded as she landed, "Yes, Queen Aria had requested me to go and complete the favor you asked of her after you helped save her hive from Queen Chrysalis," her eyes narrowed in anger as she said that name, but then shifted to concern when she added, "But is this really necessary? I know that that mare had done some terrible things to those ponies, but don't you think it's a bit harsh in banishing her to a world that is likely going to get her killed?"

The stallion kept his smile as he shook his head, "I'm afraid what she would do in the future would actually be far worse than what I have done to her."

The changeling looked down with worry still etched on her face, "But still, wouldn't there've been another way than to simply send her somewhere else where no one can find her?"

The stallion widened his smile as he walked up to the changeling. "Cryst, I'm afraid what I've done is for the best. Not sure if you heard, but I was not lying about Eternis understanding what I'm doing given the trouble that Starlight would inadvertently give him should I allow her to go about with her revenge."

Cryst sighed as she felt that he was telling the truth, "Alright I get it, what Starlight Glimmer did was bad and what she was going to do would be even worse," She looked up at the stallion with a different question in mind, "Mister Auramancer, aren't you going to at least tell me why you're smiling when you are clearly hurting inside."

The Auramancer kept his smile, but the changeling could still feel the growing sadness as he answered, "You know that I can't answer that. The sadness from the memories that I had will no doubt kill you in an instant as I know that your kind can only survive on feeding of of love and that any negative emotions will have a debilitating effect on your health. So it's best that you don't ask."

Cryst once again sighed in defeat knowing that he was right. Shifting to a more serious attitude the changeling was engulfed in green flames. Once the flames died out she had transformed into a perfect copy of Starlight Glimmer with a smug grin on her face. "Well, I guess I better be off then."

The Auramancer nodded as he turned back to the horizon with the sun starting to set. "You do know what you need to do right?" He asked.

'Starlight Glimmer' nodded, "yep. I'm pretty much the only changeling in my hive aside from the queen who can match her magic in strength. It is going to be a little tough getting her attitude right, but I think I'll manage."

He nodded once more as he spoke, "very good. I'll inform you if anything unfortunate happens to Starlight, though I'm doubtful that it'll come to that. I made certain that she'll be in good hooves, it all depends on her actions."

'Starlight Glimmer' frowned slightly, but nodded once more, "alright. I'll take your word for it given what you're capable of, but please promise me that she'll at least be okay."

"You have my word," was all he said. And so the disguised changeling trotted of to parts unknown to do what the original Starlight Glimmer would've likely done had she not been sent through the portal.

The Auramancer looked up at the stars as day gave way to night as he pondered out load, "now the only question is, will she accept the help she's given or will she fall victim to her own hubris.

In another world where everything is made of blocks a lone crafter is walking to his home though a forest full of oak and birch trees when he notices a girl lying on the ground unconscious in the middle of a small clearing. The crafter looked around as he pulled out a bow and arrow as he slowly made his way to the unconscious girl, making sure that it wasn't some sort of trap. Once he got close enough to touch the girl and didn't see any evidence of there being an ambush he put his weapon weapon away and kneeled down to gently shake the girl to see if he could wake her, assuming that she was still alive.

"Hey, you okay there?" he said. When the only response he got was some slight mumbling he got up and looked at the sky. Seeing that the sun was beginning to set the crafter decided to take the girl with him as he crouched down to pick her up and have her draped on his back as he made the slow trek to his house.

"I hope you don't mind me taking you to my place. It'll be too dangerous for you to be out here on your own without any protection."

Author's Note

I've decided to start up on this story after getting inspired by watching a few videos from a youtuber by the name of Rainimator. For quite a while up till now I had little motivation to write my other pics, but after watching Rainimator's videos I suddenly came up with a story where Starlight gets sent to the world of Minecraft and encounters my Minecraft character along the way. I've only came up with this story a few days ago, but didn't put into writing until I could figure out a good way to start it off. So far I think that I've gotten a good start with the story, though I would like to see what your opinions are about it overall.

For those wondering what my Minecraft skin looks like, I'm not entirely sure how I should go about uploading it without someone potentially stealing it so I may need some assistance on that front. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my first attempt with a Minecraft Crossover.

On a side note: if it hasn't already been made obvious with the tags, I get a little bit evil with certain chapters as the story progresses, as I plan on having certain parts where the characters will face tremendous hardships that'll really put their relationship to the test, especially given that there'll be a bit of romance along the way.
