Everyone hopes of victory turned into fear and dissapointment, as rainbow dissapeared, leaving fully revitalized Nightmare Moon flying above tham, " they, they did not work, but how is this possible " asked Luna, " Meaby she gained some sort of immunity, nothink can stop her now " replied Celestia, as they last hope broke into peaces.

For 1 full minute Nightmare Moon just flew in the air, eyes closed, as she thought about somethink, meanwhile Mind Slaver teleported next to her, " this is just wonderful, Nightmare Moon what is immunite to Elements of Charmony, sush a great  development, and I was lucky to witness it with my own eyes " said Mind Slaver with very cheerful voice.

" Now than my mares, are you ready to give up, or I will need to break up your spirits a bit more  ?"

" We wont give up to someone like " Luna was cut off by Celestia, " do if we surrender, will you spare lives of our guards and our subjects, will you not charm my sister, and will you not let my subject starve or frooze from cold of Eternal Night ? " Celestia asked, as she started to bow, " Celly, you are not considering ? " asked Luna with suprice, " Yes I do, we tryed everythink we could and failed, the only way to save our subjects now is to submit. "

Mind Slaver smiled as he won " Oh, your words, expresion on your face, your adorable position when you bow, priceless, oh this is just wonderful final of a wonderful day, what I m saying, it was best day of my life, hmn........, fine Celestia, I will spare lives of your subjects, what kind of King I would be to let my slaves and servants starve or frooze to death, as for your sister, well, I think I will find use for her what will not involve hurting her, but in exchange you will listen to me and be my test subject, oh, why I m even asking you, you wont have any choice after all " said Mind Slaver, as he started to bounce from happines.

Before he could say somethink again, Nightmare Moon grabed him and they both dissapeared in flash, Celestia, Luna and Elements Bearers were standing still, as they not understood what just happen.

" Do you think that Nightmare Moon decided to eliminate him since he agreed to our terms ", asked Luna,

" I m afraid this is the case, but there is no point to stand here, we better find tham " on those words Luna nod, as they both and Element Beaers started to search city trying to Nightmare Moon and Mind Slaver.

Canterlot Castle, Throne Room

FLASH

In a flash both Nightmare Moon and Mind Slaver appeared inside throne room, it was a very big and long room, with enogh space for hundred of ponies, two Thrones in the end of the room, giant doors decorated with some gems on the other end of the room, one entrance into balcony, and big windows on the walls.

Room was damaged a bit as result of the attack, but it was still in good shape, Mind Slaver started to look around in suprice as Nightmare Moon teleported him here, what was weird since he did not ordered her to do that.

For a moment he watched two thrones what he plan to replace in future with one, but bigger and more decorative as display of his power, and meaby a table on the wall behind it where he would put his notes and pictures of his succed experiments.

After moment of thinking, he turned his eyes into Nightmare Moon, who was standing next to him in sillent entire time, but he started to fell that dark aura is forming around her, as air was slowly filling with magic energy, " why did you brought me here without my permission ? " asked Mind Slaver our of curioucity.

On those words dark aura only gained strenght and size, Nightmare Moon was still having her eyes closed in creepy sillence, " I asked you question, ansfer your Master this instand " asked Mind Slaver again, this time with loud and ordery tone.

" You " whispered Nightmare Moon.

" What was that ? speak louder "

" YOU " repeat Nightmare Moon, this time louder, as she opened her eyes, slowly turning tham into Mind Slaver direction, they were full of malice, anger, but not just normal anger, it was pure rage, thsoe were eyes of cold empty murderer with desire of revange.

" YOU " repeat Nightmare Moon as she made 1 step foward, Mind Slaver made 1 step back.

" YOU BASTARD " her voice was even louder, as she made few more steps

Mind Slaver made few steps back, and than he stoped as his expresion became serious, his body took regal and confident posture, " How DARE you speak like that to your MASTER ", he made pause for moment as he took breath, " BOW and BEG for forgiveness , and meaby I wont punish you ", he ordered.

" You FOOL, you are no longer my master, and YOU will be the one to be punished ", on those words Mind Slaver tryed to force Nightmare Moon to bow with his mind control magic, but it did not worked, as his magic did not conected,

" Runes ? where are mind controling runes " asked Mind Slaver in confusion and curiousity.

" Try to figure out by yourself as you will be in world of pain and torture ! " ansfered Nightmare Moon as she took intimidating position by spreading her wings, her eyes not even blink.

" Those blasted Elements, they somehow destroyed runes inside your body " ansfered Mind Slaver as he facehoofed.

" I will cut your wings, than hoofs, horn, tail and mane, just like you did that to us " said Nightmare Moon as she once again moved foward, step by step, her glare more hostile with every step and word.

"  Like I care, you was just a test subject " ansfered, as he started to move step by step to Nightmare Moon.

" You used us like a tool, brought pain to us and newborn filly " Nightmare Stomp with her hoof on ground making a hole in it.

" You took our free will away, you ashamed us, teased us, insulted us, humiliated us " Nightmare keep saying those words as she made one hole in the floor with every word.

" You should be thankfull to serve me, to be part of somethink greater than you, you freak "

"You disrespectfull little worm, you toyed with Equestria, Luna and Celestia for fun, you stolen OUR POWERS, you gained power and knowledge by the cost of others. "

" Pfff, say mare who corupted Luna and tryed to doom Equestria for some stupid reasons "

" For our mistakes, we paid a huge price, and so you will pay for yours with your blood "

" Oh, I get it, it was a joke ' laught ', and it was a good one ' laught ', the fate choicen me to rule over everyones, to gain knowledge and power above any others, I m above some laws, morals and punishmant, after all, soon i will be the one making laws. " laughted Mind Slaver at the idea of anyone bying able to punish him, he was the one punishing those who deffy him, but it just anger Nightmare Moon even more, as she droped a tear.

" For everyone we are just monsters, but a little newborn filly do not deserve it " said Nightmare as she droped more tears, " we endured torment of banishment and tortures of your experiments, as it was a chance to start our live from the beggining, as we were given secound chance ", and finaly she started to cry, " And YOU RUINED it. "

" Bla bla bla, I get it, you are sad and angry, get to the point " said Mind Slaver as he started to lose patience, as Nightmare Moon gave him a stare in Fluthershy style.

" You used us, humiliated, stolen our power, and than when we had a chance to have normal life, you just had to ruin it, and you not even care, there is nothink left for Nightmare Nyx in this world, and it is all thanks to you, everyone think that we are monster, so there is nothink left to do than taking you down with us. " after those final words, Nightmare Moon wiped out her tears, and rushed into battle.

Mind Slaver levitated his Alicorn Killer to counter Nightmare Moon attack, and after Nightmare Moon dodge it and rushed into his direction, he set up barrier.

Nightmare Moon failed to penetrate it, as Alicorn Killer was flying into her back, to evade attack and break barrier, Nightmare turned herself into mist, leting sword to pass her and hit barrier instead, as barrier broke, Nightmare shot barrage of thunders what stuned Mind Slaver, as she started to hit him with her hoofs, slaping and kicking his face, and absorbing little of his power

" ENOGHT " said Mind Slaver, as he created a blast of light energy, light magic is far less destructive than dark magic, but it do extra damage to those who have dark magic in they nature, Nightmare Moon specialization and nature is dark magic, so light blast did much more damage than dark arts would.

As Nightmare Moon was knocked back, Mind Slaver aura grown, as his body once again had dragon scales on, " I had some fun playing with Celestia, Luna and you for a while, but time for games is out, it is time to show you and the entire world what a WORTHY Alicorn is capaible off " at those words, his expresion started to be serious, his horn charging, his body now in battle stage.

Than into Throne room 4 dark Alicorn flew in, as 2 of tham set up barrier around they master, and others 2 started to shot magic lasers into Nightmare Moon.

Nightmare Moon took into air and started to evade shots, as she send some bolds of her own, but even thought she could beat those 4 Puppet Masters with time, she did not had it, so she decided to rush with max speed to absorb Alicorns power one by one ignoring they shots.

It took half of minute, but all 4 cult members were out, still, it was enoght time for Mind Slaver to focus alot of energy, " Let me show you what I discovered before I became Alicorn ", on those words, summoning rune under his hoofs started to take magic from his horn, glowing more and more.

FLASH

In a big flash, 6 flying orbs were summoned into throne room, 2 white orbs, 1 green, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 yellow, all were size of a big rock 10 times bigger of awerge pony.

2 Light orbs flew into left and right side of Mind Slaver, and other 4 orbs flew into 4 corners of throne room, " Breath taking, is not it, alow me to present you my masterpace, those 2 orbs on my side are Light Battle Orbs, they posses huge ammound of light magic, the red one is Fire Battle Orb, and the other 3 are Ice, Wind and Electrick orbs, you get the picture "

" Do you expect some flying rocks to stop me from my revange and safe your feathers, I expected somethink better than that "

" Oh, how ignorant of you, but it is understable, yet I asure you, it is somethink to fear off, since I worked 1 full year to create tham when I was just a Unicorn, I hoped to use tham as defense support again Celestia and Luna, and now when I m Alicorn, I can boost those orb for extra fire power, ..... enoght words, let the display of power full your heart with terror, FIRE  " on that signal, 2 Light orbs shot 2 solarbeams, those solarbeams were exacly the same what Celestia shot from her horn, but they were actualy stronger.

Nightmare Moon tryed to block it with barrier, only for it to break after 10 secounds of non stop fire, after barrier fall, Nightmare Moon took into air and started to evade solarbeams as they cut walls and ceiling of throne room.

Meanwhile outside

Celestia and Luna were flying over Canterlot, trying to find Mind Slaver and Nightmare Moon, as well as helping ponies who had bad luck when the battle took place, and than they noticed as solarbeams started to come from Castle, as Celestia and Luna took closer look at from where those beams came from, they quickly noticed it was from throne room.

Another salve of 3 solarbeams went from 2 light orbs and Mind slaver as Nigthmare Moon tryed her best do evade tham, she tryed to shot some of her Lighting bolts, only for tham to change direction and go into Electric orb, it was clear now that those orbs not only could use magic type what base on what orb it was, they could also absorb that magic, and the only orb type what was not in the throne room was dark orb, as Nightmare Moon noticed that, she charged her horn to relace dark blast.

However it did not worked as Light orbs set up light shield around tham, neutralizing dark attack, " Oh, you probably wondered why I did not summoned dark orb into throne room, well, the ansfer is easy, Light orbs can not only absorb light magic attack, but they can also use light magic to destroy dark force, and since you are a bit resistant to dark force yourself, I decided it would be better to get double solarbeam altilery instead, I m sush a genius, now than, lets see how long you can dodge "

The battle did not go to well for Nightmare Moon as she got hit by 3 solarbeams so far, whats more elemental magic is out, dark power is out, magic laser and missile were reflected by Mind Slaver barrier, and close range attack would be too dangerous, as high distance was only reason she could evade so many solarbeams.

' Ok, lets analize the situation, I m now forced to evade all attacks and I can not attack myself, frontal attack is suicude as those light orbs will tear me apart, I already tryed Ilusion but those orbs neutralize it with small light wave, yet somethink is odd, why is Mind Slaver attacking me with solarbeams instead of using his Alicorn Killer ? and why only those light orbs are attacking me when all other orbs are just there to absorb my attack, and why he is standing so close to those light orbs instead of following me ' thought Nightmare Moon as she tryed out to figure out a way to defeat his enemy or at last get rid of his advantage, ' I get it now. '

Nightmare Moon started to fly into Electrick orb as her horn glown, and once she was next to electrick orb, ' 3, 2, 1, now ', Nightmare Moon was gone in a flash as 3 solarbeams hit electric orbs destroying it.

Nightmare Moon appreared close to Wind orb, as she shot barage of thunders into it, another orb was down, and she was gone in a flash to appear next to Fire orb, as he hit it with thunder, and than hide behind it as 3 solarbeams finished it, and finaly she took out ice orb with some fire magic.

' I was right, he created those orbs to protect him from magic attacks, but to make tham shot, he need to boost it with his own power, that is why he is standing so close to those light orbs, he need to be close to tham to charge tham, and now without those 4 orbs I can use elemental spells again ' thought Nightmare Moon as shot barage of electric, fire and ice spells, only for tham to be stoped by Mind Slaver barrier.

' This is bad, even if he is not mobile, he have still strong defenses, and with those 2 light orbs his fire power is triple as strong, how can I take those orbs out ? ' thought Nightmare as she got hit by another solarbeam, evading and teleporting could only buy her more time at best, ' meaby I can be off assistance ' thought Nyx, ' time to get some defenses of our own '

FLASH

Throne room was empty, Mind Slaver started to look around as his target was gone, " stop hiding you coward and face me, I do not have time to play hide and seek ".

Than he started to fell ground moving under his hoofs, " earthquake ? " he said as he took in air and started to watch ground, 2 light orbs followed him.

And from underground, purple barrier emerged as it was going into Mind Slaver direction, he quickly focused his horn as 2 light orbs shot solarbeam into flying barrier, barrier was starting to get damaged but did not slow down, as it hit Mind Slaver in colision, sending him into ceiling.

Purple shield broke as now instead of Nightmare Moon , Nyx was standing between 2 light orbs, Arkade lance levitating next to her.

STAB

STAB

2 Light orbs has been anihilated, after all they were made from pure magic, so Arkade weapon is best to destroy it.

" Lets see how you will do without your toys " said Nyx with a smile on her face, but than quicly turned her smile into angry expresion, as she charged her horn and flew into Mind Slaver.

" This is not over yet, I still have few aces " Mind Slaver said as he rushed to counter Nyx with his Alicorn Killer, both arkane weapon clashed, only for Alicorn Killer to be trown back forcing Mind Slaver to teleport on the floor as lance hit the celling.

Mind Slaver once again used his summoning rune, this time however he did not had  much time so he did quick summon, as he summoned medium sized purple dragon.

' SPIKE ' thought Nyx as she noticed medium sized dragon with mind control rune on his head.

Nyx was about to hit Mind Slaver when dragon got in her way, forcing her to fly back.

Meanwhile Mind Slaver once again started to charge his summoning rune this time with alot of dark magic, as it started to summon ponies, but somethink was not right.

Side to Spike were now standing, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, RainbowDash, and some other ponies Nyx could not recognize. " How do you like my aces ? it took 3 years of studing and experimenting Necromancy, and I lost some of my cult members as I send tham to dig up some graves, but here they are, most of Element Bearers at my service, I actualy wanted to use tham to prank Celestia, she was alwais so fond with element bearers and her students, and watching how they, especialy Twilight Sparkle turn again her would be amusing, not that she would stop from destroying revived ponies, but it would still be amusing "

" You make me sick " ansfered Nyx with even more anger, " you captured Spike, brainwashed him, and than revived element bearers just for the fun of it ? "

" for fun and for science, and also for physological attack again princess, but wait a moment, you realy fell for those ponies, dont you, your reaction, even the fact that you step back instead of killing Spike to attack me, it is just prove that you fell somethink for tham, there is no way you are Nightmare Moon "

" SILLENCE " said Nyx aloud, " I will slice you, free spike and put those ponies back to they peaceful rest "

" How noble of you, playing the hero to the end, but enoght of that, ATTACK " on this command, Spike and corpses of Element Bearers rushed into attack, they were not as efective as ponies they represented when they were alive, but they still had skills and abilities, Twilight and other Celestia students attacked with quite strong and advanced spells, when RainbowDash and some other Pegasus flew with realy great speed.

Nyx set up her barrier to hold the attack as he thought of a plan, but barrier broke as Alicorn Killer strike it, still, Nyx barrier was special as it just shatered into parts, Nyx levitated parts of her barrier into other ponnies around her, immobilizing tham.

Flash

In a flash Spike was teleported behind Nyx before she could react, as he hit her in the back with his claws, only to attack with his green flame.

Dragon flame was burning Nyx, but it was not damage Alicorn could not withstand as she started to focus her horn despice high temperature.

FLASH

In huge light blast, spike was blinded for moment, and some of revived element ponies turned back into bones ( actualy they were not destroyed, since Light magic is neutralizing dark magic and necromancy curses ).

taking the opportunity, Nyx levitated his lance and rushed into Mind Slaver with all her power, Mind Slaver tryed to block it with Alicorn Killer, only for his sword to be shattered into peaces by Nyx lance, " hhhhhhow ? " said Mind Slaver in fear as his great weapon was destroyed before his eyes.

Flash

Nyx teleported behind Mind Slaver, and as he turn around, she turned into Mist and reappeared as 16 Nyx and16 Lances around him.

Mind Slaver quickly used his dark blast to neutralize ilusions or damage clones, base on whatever tactic Nyx used, and what was left were 3 purple barriers, 1 barrier hit him from side, and than another from another side, and barrier number 3 from above, as all 3 barriers gathered around Mind Slaver, the blown up, trearing apart his dragon scalles.

Nyx and her 2 clones reunited as she levitated her lance to stab Mind Slaver hoofs and wings,

Scream of pain could be hear in entire throne room, " Whats the matter, it is not so fun when you are not the one stabing and cuting ? " asked Nyx with tears falling from her eyes, " your sick game is over " said Nyx as she aimed her spear into Mind Slaver horn.

Than to Nyx suprice, Twilight Sparkle got in the way " do not you dare to hurt my master " she said, her eyes empty felt empty and her voice did not showed any emoptions.

" Rest in peace mother " said Nyx as she touched Twilight with her horn, and as light magic flew into Twilight, she turned into ash, as dark force vanished from her body.

Nyx changed her apperance into Nightmare Moon, " now than, the time for our rewange has come " Nightmare said as she cut Mind Slaver hort with Nyx lance before it dissapeared.

Another scream of pain, " aaaaaaaaaaa, huh, huh huh, you ruined everythink you freak, it was best day of my life, I was so close of taking over Equestria, gaining ultimate power and immortality, so many years of preparation and hard work wasted, all because of you " his voice full of pain and anger, " I WAS CHOICED for greatness, and all of that ruined because useless test subject went out of control, " after those words, Mind Slaver spit on Nightmare Moon face.

" You do not deserve so much power, and knowledge in your head will only bring pain and suffering, as my revange, I will take what is the most dear to you " and with those words, Nightmare started to absorb Mind Slaver powers from him, until he became unicorn again, " no, no, nooooooooooooooo. "

After he was unicorn again, Nightmare Moon used her healing powers to close bleeding on his wounds, she did not heal tham, just closed tham a bit so he would not die from lose of blood, and next she used sleeping spell on him.

" Your knowledge is to danger in your hoofs, but meaby I will find use for it " Nightmare Moon said as she send her mane into Mind Slaver head, as she searched his mind and drained his knowledge, all his magic abilities, spells he learned, hideouts he had in Equestria, necromancy, time and dimentional travel, everythink what was making him dangerous was stolen from him.

Nightmare Moon took a breath and looked around, all she saw was heavy Injured Mind Slaver, alot ashes from zombie ponies, 4 unconscious Puppet Masters, sleeping Spike, very badly ruined Throne room, and quite alot injuries on her own body, and there was no more sounds of any battle outside, ' over, it is finaly over, wake up Nightmare Nyx, it is safe now. '

Nightmare Nyx got back control of her body, she had no experience with battle, and far to little knowledge about magic, so she gave control to Nyx and some Nightmare Moons for entire battle, but now she could go back and control it again, Nigthmare Moon armor dissapeared leaving big black Alicorn with many Injuries on her body, her magic heavy drained, her hoofs and wings tired, but what  is the most importand, the worse was behind her, or at last she hoped it was.

Nightmare Nyx was now standing in sillence, as she tryed to gather thoughts, not noticing that princess Celestia and Luna flew into what is left form Throne room.

" It is over " said Luna from behind, Nightmare Nyx hearing her turned around, and galoped into her direction, " yes, it is over, Luna, I m so happy to see you ..... " she stoped talking as she was hit with full force by Celestia solarbeam and trown into the wall behind Throne.

As Nightmare Nyx felt a bit of pain, attacked off guard, she stand up, confusion and sadness on her face, " Celly, what was that for, why did you hurt ..." she could not finish as she felt heavy, for moment she did not knew whats going on, unil she noticed that Luna horn is glowning.

When Luna was using gravitacion again Nightmare Nyx, Celestia looked around to examine situation, as she noticed Mind Slaver as Unicorn, but without horn and 4 heavy damaged hoofs and some other injury, than she noticed lying down Spike and 4 Puppet Masters, " So you got your revange after all, I see you spared no one " said Celestia as she charged her horn and attacked with another solarbeam.

Another solarbeam his Nightmare Nyx as she was still kept down by her own weight, " Please, stop, it hurt, please,."

" You brought it upon yourself " said Luna with dissapointment and disgust in her voice, " Thee gained our trust only to betray us, side up with Mind Slaver, and in the end killed him because he agreed to Celestia terms, thee wont get any mercy from us."

" You got rid off innocent filly once she became useless to you, and than Nyx when she tryed to stop you, and whats more you are now to powerfull and immunite to Elements of Charmony, even thought it is hard for me, we have no other choice but to get rid you for good as long we have chance " said Celestia as she put her judgement.

" But it was all Mind Slaver fault, he made Nightmare Moons say those lie, sob sob... . " said Nightmare Nyx, as she started to cry.

" Your false tears wont deceive us " said Luna as she increased gravitation field power, making Nightmare Nyx even more heavy.

" Please, you have to belive me, it is me, Nightmare Nyx, not Nightmare Moon, they did not hurt me, I " Nyxie was cut off by another solarbeam, as she screamed with pain, her body was on it is limit.

" Do not dare to use her name, MONSTER, it is time for you to perish from this world ", Celestia started to charge her horn, Nightmare Nyx noticed sun rays filling the room, as sun raised on the horisont.

' It is no use, they wont belive you after what Mind Slaver made us to say, but for now we must focus on surviving, Celestia want to kill us. ' said Nightmare Moon in Nyxie mind

" There have to be a way " said filly with fading hope and growning sadness.

' We wont convince tham, and now we need to get out of here, your body is in terrible stage and Celestia is  gathering solar energy to form her arkane sword, but worry not, I gained alot knowledge from Mind Slaver, I will give you coordinates, you must teleport there '

' Noooo,  you ask me to escape from this happy life I had, from firends, peace and fun I had in last 4 weeks. '

' I wish as much as you to start a peaceful life, but our chance was taken away from us, all there is left is survive, so quickly, teleport '

Luna was holding Nightmare Nyx in her gravitation field, as Celestia created her Arkade sword, she than flew closer to Nightmare Nyx and was about to strike her, " I will try to make it as painless as possible " said Celestia as she did not noticed that Nyxie was charging her horn until it was to late.

FLASH

SLASH

Celestia sword was now stuck in floor and Nightmare Nyx was gone, " She managed to get away, we must find her as long as she is close, or else another war will take place in future " said Celestia as she and Luna went to search for Nightmare Moon.

Outside of canterlot castle, unknown location

In flash Nightmare Nyx appeared, this time she took much more time to charge her horn for long range teleportation as she was gone again as last teleportation was to weak to pointed coordinates, teleportation is very high level magic spell what only very skilled and hard working unicorns could master, when weaker unicorns often would end up drained after jump or teleport in away from place they wanted to get.

Blind teleportation is very risky, so teleportation spell was upgrated with safely upgrades preventing Unicorn from teleporting inside a wall or solid mater, as well as ilosating area where unicorn teleport from air and fluid influence, so that if unicorn teleport into poison cloud or inside water, poison and water would not end up inside it is body.

Because of that teleportation spell cost more energy and did not worked if said Unicorn is not skilled enoght to activate all safely spells.

Teleportating on close distance is not much of a problem since Unicorn often see her destination, but long range teleportation or teleporation inside room require focusing coordinates in they mind so they can teleport safely.

As result long range teleportations or teleporting many ponies at once is extremaly draining and require alot focus, in Nightmare Nyx case, she knew coordinates, but lack of time to focus on coordinates and without enoght magic she teleported far away from her destination.

After minute of focusing her magic, Nightmare Nyx was gone in another flash

Luna and Element Bearers with some pegasus guards were already closing by, only for tham to see how Nightmare Moon teleport again, this time however it was very long range and precize jump, Luna tryed to detect where teleportation would be directed only to fail, teleportation of that range was impossible to detect.

Luna was lose in thought as where Nightmare Moon tryed to hide, ' she tryed to teleport somewhere, but her jump was cut off by lack of energy, so it mean that she tryed to teleport in this direction ', Luna thought to herself as she was watching everfree forest in distance, ' castle inside everfree forest would be to easy to figure out and a bit to the right from teleporation line, ofcourse ', Luna snap out thinking as she rememered about Mind Slaver underground hideout Celestia noticed 1 hour before invasion.

Luna and Element Bearers flew with full speed into hideout direction.

When Luna, some guards and Elements were searching for Nightmare Moon, Celestia decided to stay in her destroyed throne room as she watched died dragon.

" I m sorry Spike, after Twilight and Rarity passed away, you became a very loyal and brave knight, worked hard to help Equestria and tryed your best to protect new Elements Bearers, only to be captured and brainwashed by Mind Slaver 12 years ago, if only I would find you and free from his control, you would not be lying her Dead, I m sorry " appologices Celestia again and again, lossing some tears as she was very fond with loyal dragon who was Twilight Sparkle assistant, unlike ponies, Spike was a dragon and could live very long, as his work became more and more direct to the throne, Celestia had much time to spend with him, and now he was dead because she failed to rescue him.

As Celestia was standing trying to honor her dragon knight with sillent, " oh, my head ", at those words Celestia watched in shock as Spike was slowly getting up, holding his head with his hand as he had big headache.

" You ........ are alive ", Celestia said as she jumped and huge big purple dragon, only to break the hug and return to her regal posture, as she looked around to see if no one saw her.

" I, I m fine, I just have a bit of headache " after those words, Spike started to look around destroyed throne room, " what just happened " he asked as Celestia flew closer to his head and started to heal him.

" I should be the one asking this question Spike, when I saw you lying in here, I thought was you was dead, are you felling better now ? " Celestia asked as she finished casting healing spell.

" Yes, much better, but my memory is like inside a fog, the last I remember was, ummm " said Spike as he tryed hard to remember what just happened, " Please do not stress yourself Spike, take your time to sort your thoughts up, I have importand dutys to attend right now, but I will be back to check on you later.

After those words Celestia teleported in a flash, leaving spike confused as he tryed to get back his memory.

In flash Celestia appeared inside Vault as batalion of Pegasus and Unicorn royal guards bowed in front of her.

After the battle started to go bad, guards were forced to retreat into Castle, and set up final line of defense inside Vault, as it was protected by powerful magic, " You Highness, your wounds, you must go hospital right away to treat your wounds " said worried Diamond Wing, who was also in very bad condition as he was leading his forces in air combat.

" I m fine, the threats is over for now, but there is alot to be done, I want all Pegasus in enoght good condition to fly into the city and help all injuried guards and citizens who were injuried in battle, those Unicorns in enogh good shape, I want you to repair as much damage as you can and set up place for injuries, beds, medical aids, food and water supply, anythink, fell free to take tham from stores as well, safely above business, as for you Diamon Wing, take 2 of your best mans and search for Nightmare Moon, Luna is already doing it but she would use some assistance, if Nightmare Moon will manage to recover her wounds, we will have another invasion sooner or later.

" AS YOU COMMAND PRINCESS " said the guards and officers in unions as they flew doing they tasks.

" I will stay here and try to heal your wounds with my magic, we will have alot of work to recover damage done by this invasion so take your time to recover " said Celestia as she started to heal most wounded guards who were left behind, brokens hoofs and wings, some even with broken horns, others paralized from electricks damage, it was rather long healing to do, after all battle did not went easy on anyone.

Underground hideout near everfree forest

In a flash Nightmare Nyx was inside a big underground hall, and right away started to fell sick, it was after all room when she was born, it is true that she was tortured in laboratory far away from this place, but the very fact she encountered Mind Slaver in here for her first time made her sick.

As Nightmare Nyx look around, she noticed 16 artifacts what were used for summoning, now empty with no magic inside, than she noticed some books on the left side of the room, they were in good shape sorted in a big bookshelf.

' We do not have much time before Luna and Celestia will find us here, I m going to take control for a moment if you wont mind, it is importand ' said Nightmare Moon  inside Nyxie mind, as she charged her horn.

Her full of stars mana started to grown a little, as small black hole opened into it, than she quickly levitated books and artifacts inside it and close it.

' What was that ?  ' asked Nightmare Nyx as she could not belive in what she saw, a black hole inside her mane, now she saw everythink.

' It is a special magic bad, a extremaly advanced magic, it practicaly creat a small magic dimention where you can store your stuff, the biger it is, the more magic it take to open and close, but do not worry, this mini world do not absorb any magic from you to simply exist, only opening, closing and increasing or decreasing it is size require alot magic, and this world is conected to my man, so I can open it no matter where I go, think of it as our inventory chest ' ansfered Nightmare Moon.

' Seems very handly, so where do we go now ' asked Nightmare Nyx as Nightmare Moon levitated small dark orb from bookshelf, after puting a bit magic into it, dark orb changed into some sort of dark portal, ' this is special escape orb what MInd Slaver used to escape from his laboratory, it is conected between his hideouts, the portal itself do not leave any clues where pony what used it went too, and also can pass anty teleportation field, now, to dragon land.'

And with those words Nightmare Nyx entered portal and she was gone.

3 minutes later Luna entered this hideout practicaly making hole into ground as she dive bomb it, she was now looking around as she saw empty hall with small hoofsteps on the ground, but no trace of teleportation magic or any clue where she was gone, " horse apples " siad Luna as she was to late to capture Nightmare Moon with no clue where to find her.

Spike was still thinking about what just happened, his memorys returned to him as he waited for Celestia to check on him, he had alot to tell.

Celestia slowly flew into Throne room, she was worn out as she used alot magic to heal her guards, now slowly walking into Spike direction, breathing hard on the way.

" Are you ok princess " asked Spike as he walked closer to Celestia and bowed, " You looks exhausted, meaby you should take a rest, I can take you to hospital, just take the word ", said Spike as Celestia shake her head refusing the offer.

" No Spike, huh.  I m fine, huh, tired, huh, but fine " said Celestia as she took deep breath, " I can rest after everythink is sort out, and I fell it will take at last 1 full week to recover, so I better take everythink done first, now Spike, do you remember anythink ? " asked Celestia, as she took lying position on the ground, her eyes focused on Spike.

" I did princess, my memories have returned to me, and I have alot to speak about, would you like long or short version ", asked Spike as Celestia smiled, " Long version please, I want to know what happened with you to this very day ".

" Ok, but do not blame me if you fall asleep ", joked spike as Celestia make a made short little laughter.

" As you remember 18 years ago Mind Slaver betrayed you and tryed to manipulate you to realize his goal, after his failure, he retreated into everfree forest, and I tryed to track him down with some guards, after long time of searching most of guards gave up, but I did not, I started to ask around in Griffon empire and Dragon kingdom as I was off duty, trying to make sure did he not run to other country, as 12 years ago one of my dragon friends told me he saw some weird ponies bying gems from him, so I asked Peewee to watch gem stores in search for those ponies, it was not long before Peewee lead me into Mind Slaver hideout itself, as he was gathering rare gems for his experiments. "

After pausing and taking long breath, " I know, I should send a letter to you about location of his hideout, but I was afraid that royal guards in dragon kingdom may be an excuse for another political conflict since Dragonia and Equestria relationships were bad at the moment, so I tryed to ambush Mind Slaver myself " Spike started to bow his head in shame,

" He defeated me easy, as he had prepeared some defensivee and offensive spells again dragons, and before I knew it, I was under his control, for many years I was following his orders, searching and gathering gems for his experiments, until today when I saw summoned to this throne room " said Spike as Celestia thought why it was impossible to find him, he had some alies or brainwashed dragons in Dragonia where he would work on his plots, meaby even direct dragons again Equestria, what would explain sudden break in good relationships between 2 kingdoms.

" Please continue Spike, what happened when you was teleported here ? " asked Celestia, wondering why Nightmare Moon did not killed him, and what exacly happened here.

" Well, as I was summoned, I was ordered to attack a black Alicorn who looks exacly like Nightmare Moon, thought she had silver armor and her mane did not had any stars in it, Mind Slaver was also big black Alicorn, and both of tham were rather beat up if I can say my opinion, but what happened later was very confusing, as Mind Slaver summoned Twilight Sparcle, some of her friends and many others Element Bearers and students you had in thsoe years, actualy, they were ZOMBIES " said spike with fear in his voice, his both hands on his face, as he often wondered do day when zombie ponies will stand up from they graves and invade Equestria.

" WHAT, so that is why my guards reported grave digging thiefs activity who later appeared to be Puppet Masters, I would never expected Mind Slaver to master necromancy, as it is the most forbiten magic in Equestria and other kingdoms as well ", said Celestia angry and sick to even think of her former students and element bearers walking as zombies under Mind Slaver command.

" Well, that was weird and confusing, but not as talk between Nightmare Moon and Mind Slaver, Nightmare Moon was realy angry, she was arguing with Mind Slaver about how dirty he is playing, she also said that she will rescue me and put zombies into peaceful rest, why would Nightmare Moon care about us, i had no idea, but what supriced me even more was that she did not attack me,  she was just defending ", Celestia was shocked, why would Nightmare Moon care, why sso sudden change of heart, do it was another of her tricks.

"  Now that I think about it, Mind Slaver mentioned that she would not be Nightmare Moon, last time I remember was a big flash what blind me, when I recovered, I saw how Nightmare Moon was about to finish off Mind Slaver, or at last I think she wanted, as zombie Twilight got in the way, but Nightmare Moon just put horn on her and said rest in peace mother, that was creepy ",

" She, she realy said that ? " asked Celestia as she started to wonder, none of Nightmare Moons would even call Twilight Mother, and Nyxie was created by Mind Slaver summoning spell, meaby it was Nyx, but how, Nyx and Nightmare Nyx were anihilated.

" She did, I was about to attack Nightmare Moon from behind when she cut off Mind Slaver horn and this is when I closed my eyes, until I hear your voice and than I saw you " Spike said as he pointed into Celestia, as Celestia tryed to gather her thoughts, than she thought about what happened after she and Luna entered throne room to ambush Nightmare Moon, she put two and two together and than conclusion went to her head.

" Oh, my .... " said Celestia as she understood what probably realy happened.

Dragon Land, underground facility

Nyx was looking around as it was very big place, alot of gems all over the place, many books around, many plan sheets and projects, it was indeed a huge laboratorium.

' Welcome into Mind Slaver HQ, gem storage on the left, project galery on the right, laboratory in front, food, water storesand bedroom on the secound floor, and one confused Alicorn in the middle ' said Nightmare Moon inside Nyxie head with a joke tone as she introduced Nyx into his new home for some time, ' better get use to this place, ' better get use to this place, because it will be your home for a veeery long time '.

' Long time, what do you mean by that, how long I will be here, will I be safe here, when I can go back to Celestia and Luna to explain tham everythink, and what I will be doing here from now on ' asked confused Nyxie as her live was now upside down, she was on her own now, world again her, she wanted to talk with Luna and Celestia again, she wanted peaeful and fun days to go back, but she also felt fear, what if they will attack her again, what if they will torture or destroy her, close in dungeon, banish to the moon or close in dungeon on the moon she will be banished too.

' I m sorry my dear, but those days wont return, you are a monster in they eyes and you can not change it, but nothink is lost, I formed a plan, as you know, Mind Slaver summoned our powers from other dimentions, we are just soul fragments of real Nightmare Moons what live on those dimentions, I bet they not even noticed it gone '

' yes, I remember it, but how can this help me in my curent situation ?'

' Oh, just leave everythink to your big sister Moon, as you remember, I stolen knowledge from Mind Slaver, but this knowledge is just temporary, it will dissapear with time, so I m afraid it is school time, in close weeks you need to study hard my dear, I know it may be tiredsome, but you need to memorise as much from this knowledge as possible before it will be gone, than we can study how to open portal to another dimention and escape from here '

' What, you want me to escape from here, to leave everythink behind ? ' asked Nightmare Nyx as the idea supried her, other dimention, do it will be better in there, well, it was her only option now.

' As I understand, we will open portal to alternative Equestria, it will have small diferences since small changes, decysions and events afected it is outcome, but no one will know us, meaby we can disquise ourselfs or convince others that we are not threat and start a new life in there, it is worth a try '

And so Nightmare Nyx started to study, she was alown, and yet she had friends in her head, 1 goal and 1 hope, a hope that she can find peaceful live in other Equestria, whats more, she had to learn more on her own, when it come to fight, she could alwais rely on Nightmare Moon or Nyx to take over, but it would be only relying on others to do everythink for you.

After Spike finsihed his story, Celestia started to think hard do this was all just a show, or did she and Luna just tryed to kill Nightmare Nyx, on one side, if it was Nightmare Moon, they were so close to get rid of her since she posses alot danger, not to mention that she is immunite to Elements of Charmony, and if Luna will fail to find her, another war will start soon, and this invasion already took lives of hundreds of ponies.

On other side, if Mind Slaver forced Nightmare Moon to act that she betrayed tham, when in reality Nightmare Moon was fighting to safe Equestria, risking her own lives, and whats more, actualy saving entire kingdom if not world herself as she defeated Mind Slaver and his army on her own.

If this was the case, than she and her sister Luna just attacked innocent Nyxie who was already badly injuried from her long and hard fights, they hurt and were about to destroy someone who fought hard to save everypony from slavery, and now Nightmare Nyx is hiding in fear, and meaby one day she will come back to get her rewange, even by thinking about it, Celestia started to cry.

' No, it is impossible, it was just an ack, Nightmare Moon took control and tryed to betray everyone, I did the right think 'Celestia tryed to convince herself that it was Nightmare Moon, dangerful monster what they tryed to destroy, but she could not lie to herself, she had to know the trush.

As Celestia turned and walked closer into Mind Slaver dead body, regreting that she could not get any ansfers from him, when she hear his breath.

Celestia right away started to scan Mind Slaver to find out that he is not dead, he is alive   as he had sleeping spell put on him, Celestia slowly levitated him closer to herself and than in a flash she was gone.

Dungeons were still in good shape as they were underground, however on the way Celestia noticed some holes in the walls and ceiling, and than many dead guards and opened cell, it was cell where Nightmre Nyx was help for her safely,  only to be ambushed by enemy.

Celestia started to fell guild about what happened here, as she levitated Mind Slaver into cell and put another sleeping spell on him so he wont wake up any time soon, she than noticed as some guards came to her, they were dungeon guards from other stations as they were probably alerted when she teleported here.

As Celestia turned her eyes to tham, they bowed, " Your Highness, what bring you here and how is the battle outside the castle going on ? " asked guards with respect but also curiocity in his voice, no one would blame him, he was ordered to guard dungeon prison when guards outside were fighting a war and no one came to update him about situation.

" The battle is over and we won, but damage is heavy, I need to go for now since I have alot to attend to, please guard this prisoner but do not, I mean it, do not hurt him, I need many ansfers from him ", before guards could say anythink, Celestia was gone, but guards already got used to it as both Celestia and Luna were teleporting alot on a daily basics in pass weeks, some guards even called it Alicorn Teleportation Month.

All guards started to watch the prisoner now, they fell pity for him when they saw holes in his hoofs and cut off horn, at last until one of the guards recognised him as orange color was very rare for Unicorns, lucky they were ordered to not hurt him, as they thought that those injuries are to good for him, instead they just stand there, waiting for organge unicorn to try to escape, so they can blast him back into prison cell.

From all places, Celestia knew that Throne room was the first room Luna would be searching her in the first place, so she just decided to take a small rest in there, but she had to be careful to not let deep sleep to take her, as she was very weak and tired.

Meanwhile Spike was outside as he was helping Royal Guards as much he could, as a grown up dragon he was very big and strong, very handly to move heavy cargo over the place as well as helping those who were traped, many injuried ponies were curently healed in field hospitals, as 2 royal doctors found Celestia in Throne room to heal her wounds, they ofered Celestia to take her into clean hospital room where they would treat her wounds, but she refused as she had 1 more think to take care of and she could not go to sleep until it was done.

4 hours later

...

Luna search failed as she went back into Throne room hoping to find Celestia in there to give her bad news, and she was not dissapointed, Celestia was sleeping in there as 2 doctors were taking care of her, as Luna walked closer, doctors noticing it tryed to wake up Celestia, as they were ordered to do once Luna return.

Luna tryed to ask Celly if everythink is ok, and that she should go to hospital, Luna was also tired form searching, even if Celestia used alot of her magic to heal injuried guards, flying for 4 hours all over the place after a long battle was also very tiring.

But Celestia refused as she teleported herself and Luna into dungeon.

Dungeon, Mind Slaver prison Cell

In flash Celestia and confused Luna was next to cell room where Mind Slaver was sleeping, " Celestia, mind explaining what is so importand that you had to teleport me here in sush haste, and why is dead body of this monster Mind Slaver in the cell ? " asked Luna as her confusion grown, before it hit her, that meaby if dead body is in prison, than he may not be dead, " wait, do not tell me he is ? "

" Yes, he is alive Luna, just like you, I asumed that Nightmare Moon killed him, I think that I would probably kill him if I were in there, since he used necromancy to revive element bearers and my personal students from they graves to fight for him, but he is alive " Celestia said with serious, yet tired tone as she could not hide her lack of energy.

" He did WHAT,  and how do you know what happened in there, tell me everythink you know this instand " ordered Luna as she let her anger and lack of patience get best of her.

Celestia ignored this outburst as she told Luna everythink she learned from Spike

After 1 long explaining later

Luna and guards listened to the story with full interest, as much as it gave ansfers, it also gave more questions, " do, do you sugest that meaby, I mean, MEABY we did not tryed to kill Nightmare Moon, and instead we tryed to kill Nightmare Nyx ? " Luna asked as she tryed to colect every bit of information together.

" I wish to be know that to, but there is only one way to find the true without assuming anythink, and that is why I need you Luna " said Celestia, looking Luna in her eyes, as Luna started to understand.

" You want me to enter his dreams and than go to his memorys to find out the true, dont you ? ", on those words Celestia nod, Luna was alwais good in dark and mind magic, entering dreams for Luna was very easy, and if she focused enoght, she could watch someones memorys, Luna ofcourse respected other ponies privace to some level as she opened more in pass 400 years, but it was emergency and she was curious as well.

As Luna walked closer to Mind Slaver, watching him as was making her sick, her horn started to shine, her body turned into a mist as it entered Mind Slaver head.

Secounds passed like minutes, minutes like like hours, as finaly Luna went out and materialized back in front of Celestia, her sace was sad as she was crying.

Before Celestia could say anythink, Luna rushed her with hug as she crying on her back, " This was horrible, sob, what have we done ", said Luna, as Celestia embraced her and tryed to cheer up, " Please tell me everythink what you saw Luna ".

And than Luna started to tell Celestia as she saw Mind Slaver doing experiments, hurting and torturing many ponies, and as she saw how he tryed to summon army of Nightmare Moons only to get a Alicorn filly in exchange, as he tortured her only to retreat when royal guards came to capture him.

She also mentioned about how he was brainwashing ponies to do his job, most of Pupper Masters were doing everythink again they will, and only few of tham was wiling to help him as they gained position of power in exchange, as he secretly took control over some dragons to start international scandal between Dragonia and Equestria, as Spike was captured and used to search for gems and even for some political manipulation.

than she went into the time when he attacked, the moments where he was facing Nightmare Moon, to moment when he took control over her to play his little show, how Nightmare Moon and than Nyx fought him bravely, she confirmed what Spike said was true.

Whats more, Nightmare Moon took away Mind Slaver knowledge and power, making him just normal unicorn without even basic spells, what made Nightmare Moon even more powerful.

As she finished telling full story, both Luna and Celestia started to cry, if it was not for Nightmare Moons advices and fighting spirit, if it was not for Nyx defense and fighting skills, and if it was not for Nightmare Nyx honestly, they, Equestria and soon the world would be under Mind Slaver hoofs.

And all they gave her in exchange for this was blasting her already injuried body, and almost killed her, as they felt guild and regred for they actions, they started to wonder how long it will take before Nightmare Nyx will come to get her revange, or do they will be able to find her and appologice in time.

The room was heavy in sillent, as they turned they eyes into sleeping Mind Slaver, there was alot damage to repair, and once it is done, he would be put into trial, he was not danger any more, but for all he did, he deserved punishment.
