Before Celestia could say anythink, Luna rushed her with hug as she crying on her back, " This was horrible, sob, what have we done ", said Luna, as Celestia embraced her and tryed to cheer up, " Please tell me everythink what you saw Luna ".

And than Luna started to tell Celestia as she saw Mind Slaver doing experiments, hurting and torturing many ponies, and as she saw how he tryed to summon army of Nightmare Moons only to get a Alicorn filly in exchange, as he tortured her only to retreat when royal guards came to capture him.

She also mentioned about how he was brainwashing ponies to do his job, most of Pupper Masters were doing everythink again they will, and only few of tham was wiling to help him as they gained position of power in exchange, as he secretly took control over some dragons to start international scandal between Dragonia and Equestria, as Spike was captured and used to search for gems and even for some political manipulation.

than she went into the time when he attacked, the moments where he was facing Nightmare Moon, to moment when he took control over her to play his little show, how Nightmare Moon and than Nyx fought him bravely, she confirmed what Spike said was true.

Whats more, Nightmare Moon took away Mind Slaver knowledge and power, making him just normal unicorn without even basic spells, what made Nightmare Moon even more powerful.

As she finished telling full story, both Luna and Celestia started to cry, if it was not for Nightmare Moons advices and fighting spirit, if it was not for Nyx defense and fighting skills, and if it was not for Nightmare Nyx honestly, they, Equestria and soon the world would be under Mind Slaver hoofs.

And all they gave her in exchange for this was blasting her already injuried body, and almost killed her, as they felt guild and regred for they actions, they started to wonder how long it will take before Nightmare Nyx will come to get her revange, or do they will be able to find her and appologice in time.

The room was heavy in sillent, as they turned they eyes into sleeping Mind Slaver, there was alot damage to repair, and once it is done, he would be put into trial, he was not danger any more, but for all he did, he deserved punishment.

3 Months after invasion week by week, Equestria

First 2 weeks Canterlot was receiving supplys and medical support from other citys, most resources went from Manhatten, when Ponnyvile tryed to offer some place to sleep for those who lost they homes.

There was not much rebuild done at that time since ponnies were bying mostly healed in hospitals, especialy guards, as for Celestia and Luna, they had a 2 weeks nap, 2 weeks, days and night they were sleeping, waking up only to move sun or moon before going to sleep again.

After those 2 weeks, Celestia and Luna took lead of rebuilding Canterlot and damaged houses, as city slowly returned to it is glory.

Royal Guard and Night Guard numbers were weakened as many of tham died during invasion, so once city was repaired, recruitation started to fill up weakened military power, it would take time for new recruits to gain experience so recruiting started fast.

Already 1 Month passed as situation stabilizated, yet search for Nightmare Moon were invain, as no traces were left from where to start search from.

Luna and Celestia increased the search, asking for aid from Griffon Empire, Dragonia and Zebria.

Zebria agreed to keep an eye open and alowed small search parties from Equestria to enter they country, Griffons also agree to search for Nightmare Moon, but they refused to let Equestria Royal Guards into they terytory, however Dragonia refused to search for Nightmare Moon and gave ultimatum that any royal guard who enter they terytory will be killed.

When search for Nightmre Moon was very active, Celestia and Luna organized trials again Mind Slaver and his cult members.

Almost all cult members were freed as innocent, as they were controled again they will, some of tham however were closed in prison from 30 years to 60 years as proves pointed that they helped on they own free will.

Mind Slaver was closed in Canterlot dungeon with full security for the rest of his live, but soon was found dead in his cell, first it was suspected that Guards killed him out of hate, but after closer investigation they found out it was a suicude what was even made to point out that guards killed him.

Mind Slaver loved to do experiments, to gain power and Knowledge, when Nightmare Moon took away his knowledge and power, and now as he was closed in prison, he could not stand it and finaly killed himself, still as a small revange for bad treatmet from the guards, he made it look like they killed him just so they will get into trouble.

Another Month passed, everythink was peaceful again as no new threats appeared, but Celestia and Luna knew that one day Nightmare Nyx will return to get her revange.

Celestia and Luna did her best to find Nightmare Nyx, only to appologice for what they did, hoping to find peaceful solution befor it will be to late.

During invasion Luna did quite nice on the battlefield again Mind Slaver and Nightmare Moon, when Celestia was not much of a help, knowing that and knowing how she will need to defend her subjects again, Celestia decided to ask Luna and Royal Guards to train her in battle so she will be ready when the time come, but it was top secret as Celestia learning how to fight would probably put

As another Month passed with no result in searching, they asumed that Nightmare Moon must be hiding in Dragonia in one of Mind Slaver old hideouts, and since Spike was once forced to work for him there, he decided to investigate it.

As Dragon, Spike had no troubles moving around Dragonia, even if he was one of Equestria Guards, the fact that he was trusted dragon who helped with a few political problems in the pass was enoght for him to move around freely.

3 Month after invasion, Dragonia, Mind Slaver hideout.

After traumatic events what took place during the invasion where Nightmare Moon fought bravely again Mind Slaver, only to end up with Celestia and Luna trying to destroy her in the end, Nightmare Nyx was forced to spend pass 3 Months on Exile in Dragonia.

Even thought Celestia and Luna knew about this hideout sinde Spike knew about it, they could not search for her here since Dragonia and Equestria are on very bad relationships thanks to Mind Slaver manipulations, and even after Mind Slaver defeat when many brainwashed dragons recovered from his control, it end up dragon blaming ponies for treating dragons like a toys and using for they shemes, what only increased pression and isolation, as Dragonia declarate to kill any Pony Royal Guard who will be found in they terytory, and any pony who would want to visit will need to have permission, and even than his or her live would not be quaranted safely.

And so Nightmare Nyx, safe from Celestia and Luna who seek to destroy her, was now studing, and she had aloooot to study, there was alot of knowledge what Nightmare Moon absorbed from Mind Slaver, and so Nightmare Nyx tryed her best to memorize it before it would perish.

But it turn out realy good, Nightmare Nyx even thought was only born 5 Months ago, she was already quite mature and had huge trist for knowledge, not realy sure do it was because of her loneliness as she had to take her mind away from it, or because learning was  the only think she could do since she had no one to play with.

And so for 3 Months, Nightmare Nyx was studing huge ammount of knowledge, and it was fun for her like it was natural, and why should not, she was born from 4 soul fragments of 4 diferent Nyx's, and they all had big trist from knowleadge, not to mention they were bying raised by Twilightn Sparkle herself, and she was also born from 10 soul fragments from 10 diferent Nightmare Moons, most of tham had desire for power, but 2 or 3 just enjoyed learning new thinks.

Just 6 days ago Nightmare Nyx learned self shifting spell as she now tryed to practice it over and over, and today she was about to test do her Dragon disquise would work out.

Dragonia, market

Markets were realy rare in Dragonia, but it was an importand political and economical place, when some independent and grown up dragons were trying to survive on they own, some smaller and more smart decided to open stores.

The main valute in dragonia were gems, they were both food and valute at the same time, the bigger, more rare or more tasty gem, the higher worth, and where some dragons would perfear to have many low Quality gems, some dragons were ready to trade alot for high Quality ones, so the worth of valute base on every dragon opinion, so many dragons often had both low and high Quality gems for trade.

Nightmare Nyx, now in disquise as a small dragon, was walking around market, trying to learn more of dragon culture, since market was place where all kind of dragons and other species gathered to trade before going back to bying individuals leaving in caves with they tresures.

As Nightmare Nyx was walking the street, she noticed as most of customers walking around were dragon miners and diamond dogs, and why not, since gems were main food and valute here, it was simple that most common job for a dragon was mining and exploring caves in search for gems, and where are gems, are also Diamond dogs, mining or bying gems for thamself.

Nightmare Nyx stop before two shops, one of tham was small, and on the other side of the desk was small size dragon wearing glasses, it was probably kid who liked to read books, in Dragonia small dragons who read and study were treated poorly as it was seen as weakness.

Nightmare Nyx looks around as she saw diferent armors and scales for sells, but what was supricing was that not only all those armors were made from dragon scales, they were with diferent size, one was a very heavy and super hard armor what would suit pony perfectly, inside it Royal Guard would look like some sort of Dark Knight from the legend.

Next armor was more suitable for griffons and pegasus, as it had special openings for wings and claws/hoofs, there were also small size shields made from dragon scales, helmets with light protection for horn, and yet had some openings to not slow down unicorn from casting spell.

" Hello, my name is Night Nyx and I m new here, may I ask you some questions " asked Nightmare Nyx, as she tryed her best to act like a dragon.

" Ofcourse, I see why not " reply dragon kid, his voice seems rather calm and cheerful.

" I noticed that those armors are made from dragon scalles, may I ask how do you get those scales and why not use iron or steel instead ? " asked Nightmare Nyx.

" Oh, you must be reeeaaaly new here if you do not know this ", Dragon kid watched Night Nyx closely, checking her features, " well than, it will be my plesure to tell you what is going on here ", ansfered Dragon kid as he went into LECTURE MODE.

" First off, my name is Andy, but others call me Glass head, nice to meet you " said dragon as he handshake Night Nyx.

" My older brother is the one supplying the scales, you see, we dragons can cut off our scales and use it as build materials, not every dragon is born with scales on scales, but those who are can cut off first scales without felling pain, as for dragons  with just 1 line of scales, doing that will injure tham greatly, that is why armor selling is limited ".

On those words Night Nyx nod as dragon Andy continued, " dragon scales are fully fireproof, and probably the hardest material in the world, well, almost the hardest, but you get the picture ".

Night Nyx sit down as it was going to take a while, " cuting off scales from dragons what have 2 lines of scales is easy, and scales grown back on they own overtime, but the problem is making armor, weapon or any other item from tham, unlike any metal, scales are fireproof, and we failed to create fire strong enoght to melt it, because of that we use special alchemy recipte what is able to melt dragon scales together, this recipty is secret and is diferent for every armor shop keeper, so do not ask what it is, ok, family secret " ansfered Andy, as his tone changed from lecturing to forbitting.

' So that is how Mind Slaver got dragon scales on his body to be resistand to arcade weapon, he spend in those lands very long time, so he probably bought alot armor and scales from those shops, I think it may be in handly in the near future, just in case Celestia or Luna will try to strike me with arkane weapons of they own ' thought Nightmare Nyx in her mind, ' you are learning fast little one, good job for noticing, I had exacly the same conclusion and idea just now ' ansfered Nightmare Moon inside her head.

" My shop specialize in making armors and weapons for all non-dragon species, like ponies and griffons, we could make some for zebras and buffalos, but they are not interested, sadly increasting tense between Equestria and Dragonia was very bad for my business, as I can not sell or export any more armors and scales to Equestria to receive gems in the end, lucky for me, Griffons and Changelings are alwais interested in good armors made from dragon scales, "

" Wait, changelings buy armor from you ? " asked Nightmare Nyx as one of her friends in her head told her story that there was a changelings invasion 409 years ago, and Luna once mentioned that there was once an open war between Changelings and Ponnies since anty changelings policy was put in motion, changelings unable to steal love started to fight off.

" Oh yes, they sure do, after war between Changelings and Equestria, changelings instead of disquising thamself to steal love, started to capture ponies to drain tham from love, I quess they are desperate to survive, and they need strong armor to fight off Royal Guards, after all they base on numbers, not quality when it comes to fight. " ansfered kid as he knew quite alot about history,  and his nick glass head was probably like egg head in pony terms.

" Thank you, you sure know alot, but may I ask, this shop next to yours what is far bigger, it also sell armor, but faaar biger, do dragons also use armor from dragon scales ", asked Night Nyx wondering why dragons would want to use dragon scales as armor, after all they are already hard without it, and armor made from dragon scales is quite heavy.

" Oh, thats true, Dragons do wear armor from dragon scales, however it is rather for duty, normaly dragon scales can withstand all kind of punishment and puting extra weight would not do any good, but when it come to war or to guard Dragon King, every soldier and knight require to have at last 1 armor made from dragon scales, after all our scales are not unpenetrable, and even if heavy, on war some extra scales can safe dragon live. " said Andy, very proud of himself with head kept high.

" Wow, seems that making armors is a serious business here, in any case you got me very interested, I would like to buy 2 tons of dragon scales, medium and high quality 1 to 1, how much it will cost me " said Nightmare Nyx as she point out scales.

" Realy ? but why would you want to buy small scales, dragons alwais buy big scales for thamself, and why only scales instead of finished armor ?" asked Andy, as he started to get suspicious of Night Nyx.

" Well..... mmmmm..... like I said, you got me very interested, so I  decided to check out for myself do I would be able to build somethink from those scales, I realy like learning new thinks " ansfered Nightmare Nyx as she tryed to find an excuse.

After moment of silence as Andy was watching Night Nyx as he suspected that somethink is not right, " good enoght for me, I alwais like to help out someone who seek knowledge, here you go, " as Andy put scales on big weight, " 1 ton of medium and 1 ton of high guality scales, normaly it will be 12 tons of low guality gems, 6 tons of medium guality gems or 3 tons of high guality ones, but since you want it for knowledge, I will give you 10% discound, how is that sound ?

" Sounds great, but I m afraid I have only high guality gems and some rare ones, how much it will be ? " Night Nyx asked, she indeed had only the best ones as she found alot of tham in storage in Mind Slaver hideout, and even as Alicorn, she could not cary to many tons with her, dragon disquise gave her only minimal bonus to strenght.

" You have a rare ones cool, my bother love rare ones, can you show me ", on those words Nightmare Nyx showed some rare gems to Andy, " Wow, they looks awesome, my brother would love to have tham, I think 0,2 tons of those rare ones will do, and can you give the red ones, it is his favorite color.

Nightmare Nyx was very lucky that shopkeeper brother love rare gems, since she had alot of tham, it greatly afected the price in her favor, now all there was left was to buy some food and water and she could go back into hideout, the question was how would she explain why dragon want to buy Hay and ApplePie,  it would be best to change disquise into ponylike, but with harsh policy again ponys it would be to risky.

As Night Nyx was listening to dragon Andy lecture, she noticed a familiar purple dragon ' SPIKE, HERE ? '

Next to her was now a medium size dragon, it was Spike, the only one dragon Knight in Equestria.

" What kind of armor a big and strong dragon like you search for ? I have all kind of best stuff here, from a 3 like dragon scale body armor what will stop even the most fearceful claw attack, to powerful Mace with dragon claws on it, it will crush the hardest of sculls and penetrate the bigest of scales " said a grown up green dragon, he was intimidating, he was big, he had eyepad on his eye where everyone could easy see a scar, his claws were big and his scales were long and pointy.

" Hey there Scull Crusher,  it is me Spike, as much as I would love to exchange my old damaged armor with a new one, this is now why I m here, at last not at the moment, I m searching for informations " said Spike as he gave a five with shopkeeper.

" Is it realy you Spike, you little pony princess knight, it has been quite long time since you visited me, all I hear about you was that you was searching for gems, but I see that you did not got fat, haha, well, do not say a word, I bet you were send here to find that Nightmare somethink, whatever, any Pony or even Alicorn who will show up face here will be crushed, so you will just waste your time asking around ", on those words Nightmare Nyx gulped, now disquise as pony was out of question,

" Thanks for the info, I will be on my way than, if no one noticed her, it mean she must be still in Mind Slaver hideout, I think I will pay her a visit " said spike as he was watching weapons, " oh, and I think I will buy a 10 tons shield, as long as it have magic protection enchancement on it, I fell that I will use one, here, have 30 ton of high quality gems, keep the change.

" Hahahahaha, you realy know what you want, and that is what I like in you spike, I will ask my zebra worked to put some enchantements on this shield, all enchancements are ready so it will take only 10 minutes, take your time " ansfered shop keeper as he took shield for enchanting.

' We have only 10 minutes before he will fly to our hideout, we must haste and prepear a trap, hurry ' Nightmare Nyx did not wasted any time, " thank you very much for all those informations, but I need to go before my parents will burn me up a bit for bying late, bye " said Nightmare Nyx as she took gems and went away in hurry, " Good bye, hope to see you again " said Andy as he waved his hand.

Nightmare Nyx tryed to find a place where she could drop her disquise and than quickly return to her hideout, even as Alicorn she would have troubles to fly fast with 2 tons of dragon scales and 2 tons of gems she had with her, and dragon disquise, even if made her bigger, gave only minimal buff to strenght, if she would put disquise of even bigger dragon, she would be unable to have it is strenght.

As Nightmare Nyx found a safe spot to transform, she levitated all her gems and scales, and teleport back to her hideout, and the moment she was back, she started to prepear for Spike visit, sure she not wanted to hurt him, but if he would find her, he would send letter to princess Celestia with informations where she was hiding, or even worse, he would smugle princess Celestia and Luna in his armor, as Nightmare Moons and Nyx's started to laught in her head as they imaginate Celestia and Luna hiding inside Spike armor for entire trip.

30 minutes later, Nightmare Nyx hideout, Dragonia

Spike was standing in front of camuflaged entrance, as he opened it with his hands, there was after all big entrance made for him so he could deliver gems when he was Mind Slaver servant.

As he entered, he started to look around searching for Nightmare Moon, a big 10 ton anty magic shield on his left arm, but there was just a creepy silence around, all lighting gems off as there was no entrance for natural wing inside the hideout.

It was quiet, to quiet, as he was now standing in the middle of main room, than he noticed somethink, there were small leftovers of food on table next to bocksheef, some books opened, it was a prove, Nightmare Moon or somepony was here.

" SHOW YOURSELF " said Spike with a strong dragon voice, far more intimidating than his little voice he had when he was kid.

But there was no ansfer, only echo in the hall, " STOP HIDING AND FACE ME, I KNOW YOU ARE HERE, " said Spike as he tryed to provoce Nightmare Moon to reveal herself, actualy he wanted to explain her that Celestia and Luna want to appologice, and ask her to come with him, but to do this, he first need to find her and survive, it was risk he was willing to take.

" Are you sure you want to face me, it may be to much for even so brave dragon to handle " said Nightmare Moon as her voice went from all around.

" YES, I WANT TO FACE YOU, NOW REWEAL YOURSELF ", Spike said as he hide behind his shield waiting for attack, " as you wish " said Nightmare Moon, as she was not standing behind Spike.

Spike turned around right away as he saw Nightmare Moon, for a moment he was about to make step back out of fear, but than remembered that he is a brave knight, and that Nightmare Moon may still be Nightmare Nyx, a honest little Alicorn Celestia told him about, so he gathered his bravery as he started to walk foward Nightmare Moon step by step.

" You are probably thinking that  I was send here by Celestia and Luna to destroy you ", said Spike as he walked into Nightmare Moon direction.

" Ofcourse not, you have diferent intentions in mind " ansfered Nightmare Moon, as she walked into Spike direction step by step.

" Realy, thats great, so you also must know that Celestia and Luna do not want to hurt you " said Spike as he hoped that Nightmare Moon will come with him and everythink will end without another war.

" Oh ofcourse, they do not want to hurt me, and why would they send they brave and importand Knight to fight a battle he can not win " said Nightmare Moon with calm, yes sad voice as she made more steps.

" This makes everythink easier, now come with me to canterlot, there is alot to talk about " said Spike as he showed his hand to Nightmare Moon as asking to jump on, but instead Nightmare Moon made a few steps back.

" Celestia and Luna send you here to see if I m here, as you can send a direct message to Celestia anytime, and than they can teleport here, using you as a tracking point for they teleportation, well to bad, because this place is sealed from outside world, teleportation and searching spell wont penetrate, your plan failed " ansfered Nightmare Moon, this time in higher voltume and dissapointment in her voice.

" Why would they want to do that, they do not want to hurt you, you said yourself they do not want to do that, so why you are afraid of tham ? " asked Spike, now a bit stresed about situation he was in.

" Ofcourse I know they do not want to hurt me, because they want to destroy me, one quick strike in the neck, quick and painless, like Celestia tryed to do in her Throne room " now there was alot anger in her voice, forcing Spike to back a bit.

" It is not like that, I told tham what happened, and they know the truth, they want to appologice, please, listen to me " said Spike only to be pressed to the floor by gravitation spell created by Nightmare Moon, ofcourse increasing weight off small Alicorn and a big heavy dragon were 2 diferent thinks, as the biger and more heavy opponent, the more energy gravitation field require, and it would also damage Spike alot if she would use full power, so she just triple his weight.

" Safe those sweet lies for yourself, they saw the true they wanted, and I m already to powerful to be trusted, not to mention that Elements of Charmony can not longer stop me, my death is the only solution they will choice, but I wont let tham and you trick me ", said Nightmare Moon with sad voice, her voltume low this time, as she increased Spike weight even more.

" I do not lie, please trust me " said Spike as Nightmare ansfered, " I wish I could trust you, for the sake of Nightmare Nyx, but it is to late now, now go back to your princess and send her this message, and do not come back here or else I wont hessitate to punish you deeper " , after those words, Nightmare Moon levitated small scroll with message on.

Spike just nod his head as Nightmare released him from gravitation field after she put a sillent spell on him, as he walked outside in silence, door to her hideout closed behind him.

After taking his breath, he send scroll directly to Celestia with his dragon flame, and than flew back, his head down in defeat.

Equestria, Canterlot Castle, Throne room

Celestia was at the moment talking with ponies one by one as a long line of ponies with petytions formed in front of her, talking and ansfering to problems from her subjects was very importand part of leading the country, as a message showed out in front of her.

Celestia levitated this message, " Please excuse me for a moment ", other ponies made half bow as Celestia walked away to read message in privace, and it was a good choice, because right after she opened it, her Jaw droped, not somethink princess would want to be seen doing.

Dear princess Celestia

I would like to thank you for your concern and attention you put into finding and destroying me, but I would like to ask to have some privacy, so please, ask your dear Knight Spike to stay away from my hideout for his own safely.

And please, do not go so low to lying and giving me false hopes, it is very clear that I m threat to you and your Kingdom, a threat what need to be eliminated, telling me that you are sorry only to lure me out and than kill is very, very low.

As for Spike invitation into the castle, well, I do not fell like going today, I will come to you and Luna on time of my choicing, and than we will settle it once and for all.

Your faintfull enemy, Nightmare Moon

Ps: ask spike to not eat so many gems, it is not to healty for him.

Once Celestia finished reading, she droped message, ' so it is realy to late, she do not trust us anymore, and the only chance to survive for her is to destroy us before we destroy her, I was afraid it may happen, but now there is no step back ' Celestia thought to herself, as she knew that another war is unavoidable.

Dragonia, Nightmare Nyx hideout

' And what if he was telling the truth, what if Celestia and Luna are sorry for what they did ' asked Nightmare Nyx in her head as she talked with Nightmare Moons.

' And what if it was just a trap, Celestia and Luna are desperate to avoid another war, they will even lie if it would save they subjects, not that it is bad think, but I would not take the risk '

' And even if it was not lie, we are just to powerful, we are threat to tham, sooner or later they would banish or seal us away at best, by watching our memories in dreams you should know by now that we do not have a good reputation, as sad as it is true, our only option is to go to another Equestria where we can live in a low profile, everypony here will be happy when we will be gone '

' If you think so, I trust your judgement, but it still make me sad, I personaly would take the risk, but we are all in the same body, and so we need to do what is the best for all of us, no place to be selfish.'

' Well thought. '

After Spike left and message was send, Nightmare Nyx would not risk of bying ambushed or forced to fight, she had to go to new hideout, lucky Mind Slaver had more hideouts in Dragonia, as Nightmare Nyx used another dark orb to transport gems, dragon scales, books and all valiuable materials with her.

And so she continued her study and forged basic armor for herself made from dragon skales, it was experimental one, but it was a good start and basic protection from so deadly to her magic enchanted weapon.

As the time passed, Nightmare Nyx learned more and more, and it never got boring for her, she also explored Dragonia a little with her disquise as small black dragon, and soon she was ready to finaly open portal to another dimention.

Meanwhile

...

Celestia told Luna about message from Nightmare Moon, and it was only confirmed as Spike returned to Equestria, both Celestia and Luna started to train to be ready for battle, ofcourse they trained at night time when no one else than Guards would see Celestia practicing her fighting abilities.

Royal Guard patrols were also increased, comming Months were realy hard for tham as they had to expect Nightmare Moon attack any day or night, and as much as it was a good practice for the guards, it had also opposite efect as after many months of active patroling and increased security, many guards started to get tired and stressed, and this weaken the security of Canterlot snce it is impossible to be on high alert all time when there are no attacks or threats and even best guards started to take high alert more lighty.

Element Bearers wanted to be in help, but Celestia refused it, as they could not charm Nightmare Moon, and elements are to vital for Equestria security to take the risk, from now on it was a battle to settle down between Alicorns.

Dragonia, Nightmare Nyx hideout, 1 full year after invasion.

Nightmare Nyx studies went realy well, she already mastered all basics spells and many advances ones, she could not match up again experiecned guard or averge solar, yet it was enoght to not relly on Nightmare Moon or Nyx in every small cases.

What was the most importand, she finaly succed it opening portal to another dimention, she did not used it because it was a 1 way road and Nightmare Nyx realy wanted to say good bye to Celestia, Luna and Canterlot staff.

Now since she had an escape option if Celestia or Luna would want to hurt or kill her, she would show tham that threat is they are so afraid is leaving and will never come back, the last think she wanted to do was to leave to another dimention leaving Celestia and Luna on high alert for hundreds of years, what actualy was an amusing even to think about it for Nightmare Moon.

But the turning point was her discovery 2 months ago, it seems that her powers she absorbed from Puppet Masters and Mind Slaver were just temporary, her body could store this power and use it, but it could not recover, and overtime as Nightmare Nyx was using it, it was going down and down, it was to slow to notice at first, but after so many months the diference was to big to ignore,

She noticed it when she was disquised as Dragon, as gems she cary with her happened to fell more heavy than usual, and she alwais took the same weight of gems with her, after she noticed it, she tryed to find out by weight lifting with magic and with her hoofs, and everyday she could lift a little bit less, and so she found out that her body can not recover energy she absorbed, and once she use it all, she will once again be small Alicorn filly, time was again her.

She ofcourse had the idea that meaby it will be are reason to not be threat and that she can once again be little filly playing in Canterloc Castle as she once did, but there was also risk that Celestia and Luna would strike her down the moment her powers would run out, as she and her friends in her head vote, they decide to stay with orginal plan.

And so the day has come, a day to settle everythink, a day to say good bye and foward into adventure to other dimention, in search for a place what she could call home, it was indeed a importand day, a day when Nightmare Nyx was going to make her first CHECKLIST.

' Ok, today we are going into another dimention and before that, we will say good bye to princess Luna and Celestia, and whoever we can in Canterlot Castle so they can finaly have a stressless sleep, this will be road of no return and many dangers may wait for us, do we are all ready ? '

' Sir yes sir ' reply Nightmare Moons and Nyx half joking, it was indeed an very importand day, but a bit of fun was never a bad think.

' Check, and now seriously, it sounds like equipment to take over the world, do we realy need it ? '

' You know we are not going on war '

6 - Armors of diferent sides made from dragon scales, shield from dragon scales and lance from dragon claw.

' Check, I perfear my silver armor, but extra armor will never hurt, I hope we can paint it with white/silver color.'

' Check, but you sure we will need that much, we do not take army with ourself, dont we ? '

8 - 14 powerful artifacts with no magic in at the moment.

' check, also, in my personal opinion we take far to much, do not forget that the biger the space for equipment, the more magic it cost to open and close it, we may end up unable to open our storage with so much stuff in once most of our powers will fade '

And so Nightmare Nyx started to fly to Equestria into Canterlot castle, with plan in her head, goal she is willing to accomplish, and equipment with what she can couquer or save the world inside her mane.

2 days later, somewhere in Equestria

' I wonder do Celestia and Luna will be supriced when I arrive ? ' asked Nightmare Nyx as she flew quietly in the night, hoping to blend into the night sky to avoid detection, what was not realy hard since night was her ground.

" I doubt it, there are so many night guards patroling all over the place, and they vision is enchanted, we wont be able to fool tham for long  '

' You got a point, so how do we get into the castle, should we use invisibility spell or turn into mist ? ' asked Nightmare Nyx in her mind, trying to choice a way to infiltrate into the castle.

' I m not realy sure, we after all gave tham all the ideas how to infiltrate they castle on the silver plate, remmeber ? ' ansfered Nightmare Moon in sarcasm.

' Oh, right, my bad 'Nightmare Nyx thought as she remmebered that Canterlot is practicaly Nightmare Moon prove after the last invasion, but 1 full year was enoght to find some flaws in the defensess.

' There is no way we can get into the Castle without alarming the guards, but we may still get closer to the castle unoticed, all we need to do is destroy protection spells first ' thought Nightmare Moon as they put invisibility spell what in the night was making it impossible to find her, invisibility spell is not perfect and require constand concentration what make it inpractical in battle, but still perfect for stealth missions.

Nightmare Nyx as Nightmare Moon now flew closer to the city and scan the area with her magic, and like radar it detected small magic power disturbances, those were the targets.

Security spells were more like a peace of papers with small magic rune on it, somethink like magic charms, base on the rune and ammound of magic powers used to create it, it would perform diferent duty, most of runes in the city were set up to uncover ilusion and shapeshifting spells, so disquise was out.

Some other runes were ment only to detect power disturbances, so it would start the alarm when anythink with high ammound of power would enter it is range, it was set up to not react to guards and princesses, but it would react on Nightmare Moon no matter how hard she would try to hide her powers.

The last line of defense were explosive runes what were ment to knock out anythink what react with other runes, as well as to react in contact with magic mist what Luna and Nightmare Moon were so popular for.

With so many night guards all over the place, burning out runes at range would be very hard, the moment guard would notice it missing, the would start the alarm.

' Ok, this is it, do not screw up now ' Nightmare Moon thought to herself as she took deep breath, " I will use invisibility spell and mist form to move around and burn those magic charms on the way unoticed by guards, but it is only matter of time before they notice missing charms, so they moment they set alarm, it will be up to you Nyx " on those thoughts, Nyx agreed as she had her own plan what to do the moment Guards set up the alarm.

20 minutes later

Slowly but steady Nightmare Moon was getting closer to the castle, as she went on the city streets buring chams and evading the guards on the way.

Meanwhile one of the Night Guards noticed tiny flash and decide to investigate, " thats weird " one of the guards said as he pointed his hoof at small flash, " oh, it must be one of the unicorns using illumination spell to move around, even with city on high alert, we can not expect tham all to sit in they houses during the night :" other guard ansfered, but the first guard did not wanted to take any risk, " I m going to investigate it ".

" Ok, but do it quick " said other guard as he wafed his hoof, it has been so many months since castle was put on high alert, and checking every single Unicorn who wanted to walk over the street at night started to annoy him overtime.

The first guard slowly walked in place where he thought he saw the flash as he started to look around, ' thats odd ' thought the guard, ' there was a high range power detection charm in here, if Nightmare Moon would be here, it would react, meaby it was one of her soldier, pegasus for example since, wait a moment ' it struck him as he noticed that there is no rune, ' I m sure there was rune in here, meaby I m just imagining '.

The other guard waited flying steady in the air, as he noticed a flash not long way from where the other guard was checking at the moment, ' fine, I quess I can remaind those nobles to not walk on the street at night, even if it is almost 1 year, it is still high alert ' thought the guard as he flew into direction of the flash.

As the guard started to search around for the unicorn, his patrol partner flew to his side " I did not found anyone, but somethink is odd, the security magic charm, it is not there ", other guard ansfered, " yes, thats very odd, I saw a flash as well and another rune is missing, do you think what I m thinking ? "

As both guards nod, they rushed to the next closer security magic charm only to see another flash, this time they noticed that it was slowly burning and turning into ash as it dissapeared in the air, one of the guards was standing in confusion when the other decided to rush closer to the scene, he quicly turned his left to left and right, than above, " I know you are here, SHOW YOURSELF " said night guard loudly.

For a moment there was nothink but sillent, as it was in the middle of the night, everyone were sleeping so it was awfully quiet, quiet enoght for a guard to hear hoofsteps, as he hear it he turned only to see nothink, but on the closer inspection he was as small rock on the ground was pushed a bit to the left, and than the guard started to see like the air is moving, by instinct the quard tackled air in front of him and he felt somethink hard and yet softy coliding with his helmet, and there was a noice like somethink hit the ground.

" Aha, invisibility spell, I knew it, to bad that Luna trained us how to detect the user " and by saying those words, guard tossed small black gem and in moment black smoke appeared, only to dissapear leaving Nightmare Moon herslef on the ground in front of the Guard.

" Night, Nightmare Mooooon " said guard in shock, but quickly turned his expression into anger, as he took battle stage, " so you finaly showed up, surrender or face the wrath of the Night Guards " said quard as he wafed his bat wings trying to be intimidating, he actualy asked to surrender out of protocol, he wanted nothink else than to slam Nightmare Moon into closer building.

But the moment bat guard rushed into Nightmare Moon, she turned into mist, and it result in guard hiting the building with his head, " outh, ...., how dare you trick me like that, I will " before the guard could finish, he noticed he was captured in dark aura, " release me and fight hoof to hoof you coward " said guard as he tryed to get free from telecinetical grab.

Nightmare Moon watched in the eyes of the guard only to hear other guard behind him, " NIGHTMARE MOON, SET UP THE ALARM, WE ARE UNDER ATTACK ".

" So much to be stealthy " said Nightmare Moon as she watched in the eyes of the guard again, the bat guard however watched back, she saw fear in his eyes, but also anger and determination, " as much as I would like to check up what you bat ponies are made off, I gave my promisse to avoid fight, so the last think I have to say to you is " Nightmare Moon said with calm but cold voice, as she put her face closer to bat pony, the Night Guard on the other hand just split up in her face.

" Whats the matter, scared ? well, you should be " said guard as other Night Guard patrols were flying in they direction, but Nightmare Moon only looked around and than turned her face to locked in his eyes again, as she smiled, than her body started to change, typical Nightmare Moon armor turned into silver heavy armor, and her mane turned from full of stars blue mane into violet one, with made the guard panic a bit as well as confused him.

" I would like to say good bye from Nightmare Nyx, and please tell other guards that she say good bye, and those guards who played with small dark Alicorn in the castle, tell tham that Nyxie will miss tham and that she is grateful for all the fun she had ", after those words, Nyx relased the guard, his face still full of confusion, as Nyx turned himself into mist and reunited into 4 Alicorns, " please, do not forget to send that message once everythink will be over, please " said 4 Nyxs with pleading tone as they all rushed into air with high speed in diferent directions.

The guard was sitting down in confusion until his partner flew to him, with after they both flew in pursuit.

' I hope that he will pass the message ' thought Nyx as he and his clones flew around canterlot Castle, she however hide herself for moment in one of castle towers and made another clone, before she turned himself into mist and hide, as the guards entered the tower and followed another clone, Nyx in mist form flew deeper into the castle.

Night Council conference room

Princess Luna was doing her usual duty with Night council members, even 1 year after invasion, there was still much to do, and between training Celestia in combat and repairing the damage, Luna had alot of work on her own, not that she complained but it was still a bit stressful to be on high alert everyday.

As she was talking with counciel members, one of the Night Guards rushed into conference room, " NIGHTMARE MOON, nightmare moon attack the castle ", before any coucil members could start to panic, Luna flew out of the room like a rocket, leaving everyone in the room, as panic turned into confusion.

" Ummm, so what we are going to do now " asked the guard as he watched at council members who looked back at him.

After minute of sillent, one of council members broke the sillent, " I assume that the best course of action would be taking shellter until the invasion is over ", on those words other members nod they head as they quietly followed the guard into safe location.

Outcast Canterlot Castle

As Luna flew out to examine the situation, she did not expected what she saw, as 4 black Alicorns in silver armor were apperantly runing away from over 200 of her Night Guards, the bat ponies were specialy enchanted by Luna herself, they were not as fast as Solar guards since bat wings did not gave much speed, but they vision in the night was greatly increased and they were more agile and had better senses, just like bats they could use ultrasonic wafes to run around the city with easy as long as they did not used full speed.

2 black Alicorns what were runing around the city were slowly geting surrounded by Night Guards, but those in the air managed to outspeed tham with easy, after moment of analizing the situation Luna decided to assist in capturing those what are in the air.

" So the Night I and my sister fear has come, well, I m not going to back down " said Luna as she followed black Alicorn, " silver armor, she must be in Nyx form, and if I remember right from the invasion, she is very skiller in fighting and have powerful shield spells, it is not going to be easy battle ", said Luna to herself as she followed Nyx clone, looking around to make sure that she not hide army or trap somewhere near by.

Celestia bedroom

Princess Celestia was sleeping deeply in her bed and in a new bed next to her was sleeping princess Cadence.

Princess Cadence was not realy taking any part in politics, after Shinning Armor death she was busy raising they childrens as they left to start they own lives, Cadence was having hard time trying to forget about pony she loved so much and without childrens to take care off she could not take her mind away from pass memorys.

The worse part of living so long is the pain of lossing loved onces, and Cadence as Alicorn whos special talent is love was even more painful, as result it never crossed her mind to take active responsibilities in ruling Equestria, instead she spend her time in traveling form town to town, even to other countrys, trying to take her mind off those memories.

The bigest change in her live was when she found group of changelings what were dying from hunger, her fear and anger overtime turned into pity as she could not let tham starve, so she used her powers what worked extremaly well in feeding tham, and this is when she decided to spend more time to study changelings, and the more she learned, the more she tryed to help tham, since her powers were like perfect and pure food supply to tham.

She could not help entire swarm and so desperate wars between Ponies and Changelings were still going on, but those changelings what were tired of wars could alwais find asylium in Cadence house what soon turned into pony/changeling castle.

It was indeed very ironic that princess Cadence who first hoof experienced the war again changelings as her love was used by they Queen, was now using her love powers to build up peace between some ponies and some changelings what were tired of those wars and tryed to find a place they could live in peace.

It was exacly 4 months ago after invasion when one of changelings who was disquised as royal guard reported to Cadence about what happened, and as result princess Cadence became known as princess of changeling refuges.

After hearing the news, she went to Canterlot with group of friendly changelings to assist Celestia and Luna in fighting off Nightmare Moon.

It would not be easy for solar royal guards and citizens of Canterlot to accept changelings into they city, so all changelings were disquised as Night Guards and they secret was known only by Night Guards, Celestia and Luna, as Luna and Night Guards often invited in they ranks Griffons, Dragons and even Minotaurs, and to make sure they wont be discovered, they were patroling locations inside castle where there were no security charms.

Both Celestia and Cadence sleep was interupted as changeling disquised as Night Guard entered into bedroom, " PRINCESS CADENCE, we are under attack, wake up, wake up " screamed changeling in bat guard usual voltume, as he tryed to wake up Cadence.

On those screams Cadence slowly wake up, and follower her Celestia as she woke up too, " yaaaaawwwww, what is all the commotion " asked half asleep Cadence, as she noticed Night Guard in panic stage, she catch up quick that it was one of her changeling friends.

" Nightmare Moons are attacking, at the very moment Night Guards are fighting tham off ", on those words, Celestia ansfered in suprice, still half asleep, " yaaaww, uhhh, is this a dream, what do you mean Nightmare Moons, please explain "

asked Celestia as she thought that she hear it wrong.

Night Guard did not turned his eyes from Cadence as he ansfered still in panic stage, " there, there is 4 of tham fighting around the city very close to this castle, why there is 4 of tham I do not know, please princess Cadence, you need to take shelter ".

" No, I will not hide, please go and gather other changelings, we will fight her off together " said Cadence as she fully woke up, high determination in her voice and eyes, " I may be weak, and I may nor know how to fight, but I m not going to hide, we came here to help, and we will help ", on those words changeling in Night Guard form nod as he flew to gather the rest.

Meanwhile fully awake Celestia was thinking ' so the day, I mean night what I fear so much has finaly came, when Luna was about to return as Nightmare Moon 413 years ago, at last I had hope that Twilight will cure her with elements of charmony, now elements wont help and I will need to take the life of a innocent filly ', " Cadence, are you  sure you " Celestia tryed to convince Cadence to take hiding only to be cut off, " no, I wont, I made up my mind and I will fight alongside you, alongside my friends, it was our decysions to help and we are not going to back down ".

Celestia was shocked by Cadence determination, ' did death of Shinning Armor and all those years of travel and living with changelings changed her so much.? ' thought Celestia as they both waited and watched how 10 of Night Guards formed in front of tham, but they were not her guards, they were Cadence guards.

" The time has come my friends, today we prove that ponies can changelings can work together for greater good, today we will fight alongside one another, today we will repay for the damage what changelings did 410 years ago, we will do our best to gain ponies trust or die trying " said Celestia to gorup of changelings disquised as night guards, what was the most shocking was how Cadence was refering herself to be with tham even thought she was not changeling herself.

" Yes princess ! " said all changelings in union just before 9 of tham turned they face to one of the guards and jumped on him, Cadence and Celestia was confused for a moment why changelings fight one another, just before a big green flame droped they disquise, as in front of tham were 9 black bugs like creatures with bug wings, horn on the head but almost no holes in they hoofs, they were all standing on the top of Night Guard what did not droped disquise.

" Drop your disquise Nightmare Moon " said one of the changelings in commanding tone before they were all pushed away with a shield, 9 changelings quickly recovered and formed a line in front if princess Cadence, as in front of tham was now standing Nyx with suprice and yet smile on her face.

Celestia and Cadence were shocked but slowly they expresion turned into fear and curiocity, " so you cape " said Celestia with sad and calm voice.

Nyx on other side paid her no main, he was watching at the group of changelings and pink Alicorn in front of her, " changelings working with ponies, I totaly did not expected that, you must be princess Cadence what Celestia told me about, I hear story that changeling Queen imprissoned you and that you and Shinning Armor repeled changeling invasion with love force field, quite orginal type of shield spells if you ask me."

Nyx just smiled even more as she pointed her hoof into Cadence, " and to think that you will be the one to cooperate with tham, normaly I would be far more suprice if not for the fact that Cadence from world I come from did exacly the same ".

Cadence did not said a word, as she started to focuse her horn, Nyx knew that without other 4 copies of herself she is far to weak to stand even again Celestia, not to mention that Cadence and group of changelings together is a total overkill, so she tryed to gain some time, " miss Cadence, I m sure Nightmare Nyx would love to meet you first, would you please hold your attack ? ".

Ignoring Nyx words, Cadence started to send her power to changelings, at first not much happened, but after a while, group of changelings started to grown a little, as they holes dissapeared complitly and horns started to glown in green/pink aura.

Celestia watched this scene in awe, but slowly she took happy and proud expression, ' love is indeed a powerful force, when Cadence charged Shinning Armor, they shield repeled entire invasion force, and now she is powering up group of changelings  making tham unbelivably strong, so this is what she ment about fighting alongside tham, to ally and trust those who were your enemys require alot strenght, I m so proud of you Cadence ' thought Celestia as she watched group of changelings charged with love and ready for battle.

" And why I should not attack you after you tryed to sneak up here and ambush princess Celestia, 1 word and my friends will give you a lesson you will never forget " said Cadence as she hold hoof in air and changelings waiting for signal to attack.

" You may find it hard to belive, but I wished to talk with Celestia and Luna, I did not wanted anyone else involved ", at those words, Nyx turned her gaze to Celestia, " it is true that I came here to settle this once and for all, but I wish to talk first ".

On those words Celestia calmed down a bit, she knew that she will have to fight, but if there is any chance to solve this by talking, she would take it, " it is alright Cadence, let her talk ".

Cadence slowly put her hoof on her ground, as her friends stand down, she looked into Celestia with confusion, and than back at Nyx, " fine, if aunt Celestia agree to talk with you, I have nothink again it, but do one false move and you will regred it ".

Nyx was a bit worried, those changelings compromised her plan and until her clones what were send to distract the army will come back to her, she is on Celestia and Cadence mercy, but now she gained some time and she could as well use it for what she came here in the first place.

Nyx armor slowly dissapeared as she turned into Nightmare Nyx, ' seems that we got ourself into a huge mess Nyxie, better start saying goodbye to tham so we can get out of here before they will tear us apart ' told Nyx in Nightmare Nyx mind.

As Nyxie eyes slowly opened her eyes, she looked at Celestia and Cadence and black bug creatures what sit next to tham, " Ummmm, hello, ........., long time no seen " said Nyxie as she put her hoof behind her head with a embarased smile.

" Indeed, it has been a full year " said Celestia with rather cold and calm voice, " I would like to say how nice to meet you again, but it would be obvious lie ".

Celestia voice did not do anythink to make Nyxie relax, if it did somethink, it just made her more stressed, " well, you may not be happy from my visit, but well ...... I m happy to see you again Celly " said Nyxie as she tryed to break the tension in the air.

" Realy, I find it hard to belive, considering that last time we saw one another, I saw about to cut your head off " said Celestia, but this time her voice was full of sadness and regred, as she turned her gaze from Nightmare Nyx and started to watch the floor.

" Yes, you was very scary back than " said Nyxie now with a bit fear in her voice, as tension and akwardness around tham grown.

After minute of sillent, Cadence decided to break it, " um, so you are not Nightmare Moon ? " asked Cadence as she tryed to understand the story Celestia and Luna told her about events before the invasion 1 year ago.

" Yes and no " ansfered Nightmare Nyx as she looked at Cadence, " we kind of share the same body, at last until our souls merge, hehe " said Nightmare Nyx with hoof behind her head, even more embarased than before, as explaining to others that she have many soul parts in her head what slowly merge together with her is alwais weird and a bit akward.

This ansfer only confused Cadence more, " I see " said Cadence as she rolled her eyes, " Celestia told me that you, you had very, well, how to say it ........... hard childhood " said Cadence with depresing voice.

The mood broke even more as Nightmare Nyx wanted to forget her painful pass, " y..... yes, it was very hard indeed ".

Another akward sillence fulled bedroom.

" I ...., I ....., I m sorry " said Celestia as she turned her face away from black Alicorn, " s.... sorry, what for ? " asked Nyx with concern.

" I m sorry about what I tryed to do to you Nyxie " said Celestia as the moment when she tryed to cut off her head flashed in her mind.

On those words Nightmare Nyx smiled a bit, " You... you realy mean it ? "

" Yes, I mean it, when Spike explained " Celestia was about to explain that she is realy sorry for what happened with hope that fight can be avoided, when 4 black Alicorns flew into bedroom both from windows and main door, all of tham turned into mist and reunited with Nightmare Nyx, and moment later the same way flew inside Luna with 50 Night Guards, more would fly inside if it was not for the fact that there hardly was enoght space in 1 bedroom for so many guards.

The room rushed in confusion, Celestia, Cadence and 9 changelings were standing in fron of Nightmare Nyx, Luna land side next to Celestia, and army of Night Guards surrounded Nightmare Nyx as they did not pain attention to changelings what they knew about.

The tension in air was very heavy, all guards were ready to attack and Nightmare Nyx gave up control to Nightmare Moon in her panic.

Celestia and Cadence looked around as bedroom they shared was about to change into battlefield, Celestia was about to say somethink but Luna took the initiative, " I think this is rather small space for sush an event sister, what do you say to change the location " asked Luna as Celestia nod,

Both Celestia and Luna horns started to glow and in flash everyone who managed to enter bedroom was gone, leaving over 150 Night Guards outside, complitly confused with no idea where they should start searching for the princesses and Nightmare.

In flash, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Nightmare Moon, 9 changelings and over 39 of Night Guards reappeared inside Throne room, but to Nightmare Moon and Cadence suprice, around 200 solar Guards stationed there as well, it was not long before they noticed Nightmare Moon and Changelings as they took battle position, and from the balcony flew another 150 Night Guards.

Now over 400 guards, Celestia, Luna and Cadence surrounded Nightmare Moon, when many of the solar guards tryed to surround 9 changelings only to be cut off by Night Guards.

' Say goodbye you thought, do not leave tham worried and on high alert for years you thought, well, you can say your goodbye now to all those guards around us before they will tear us apart ' thought Nightmare Moon as she noticed in how terrible bad situation she was in.

' I m afraid I must agree with Nightmare Moon, we are complitly outnumbered, 3 Alicorns, 9 super changelings and over 400 night and solar guards, right now I m not even sure do we can open portal and escape in time ' thought Nyx even more worried than Nightmare Moon, as Nightmare Nyx paniced.

The tension around grew, only one small action, 1 false move, and everythink will fall on her in a huge chain reaction, Nightmare Moon was standing still like stone, not a single muscle moved, not even blinked.

Meanwhile Celestia started to whisper somethink to Luna, when Cadence and group of Night Guards tryed to keep Solar Guards away from her changeling friends.

" EVERYONE, STAND DOWN " screamed Celestia and Luna together in a royal canterlot voice, they volume together was so high that everyone guard in throne room jumped a few steps back and started to stand like stone, as huge akward sillent fulled run with over 400 ponies inside.

" Good, now I asume theu came here for a reason, but may I ask why theu, I mean you, came here alown without army, did you honestly thought that you can take over Canterlot alown " asked Luna as she flew some metters above the floor, pointing her hoof into Nightmare Moon.

Nightmare Moon was still stoned, but moment later she relaxed a bit and ansfered in calm, cold voice " I came here to settle it once and for all, but I did not wanted to hurt anypony ".

Luna and Celestia started to think what she mean by not hurting anypony, " I think I understand Celly, she wanted to settle it between us without the guards involved, that is why she did not raised an army, nor she attacked any of my Night Guards ".

Celestia just nod as she raised her hoof, Luna as well " GUARDS, LEAVE " both Luna and celestia said in union in royal canterlot voice, as they pointed the door, guards were standing confused for a moment giving Celestia and Luna a stare, but after moment they started to leave one by one.

Now in throne room was only Luna, Celestia, Cadence and Nightmre Moon who was very supriced about what just happen, ' they asked her guards to leave, but why, she would crush us with numbers alown ' thought Nightmare Moon as Nyx add ' because they not want they ponies to be hurt, even if we would lose this battle, hundreds of guards would die with us '.

After all the guards left, Celestia turned her gaze to Cadence, " Cadence, would you and your friends please leave as well ? " asked Celestia with calm voice, " but Celly " Cadence tryed to argue only for Luna to interupt, " I must agree with Celestia, this is a battle between us and Nightmare Moon, we do not wish you and your friends to get hurt in our battle as well ".

As much as Cadence wanted to stand and fight, not only to protect Celestia and Luna, but also to prove that changelings can cooperate with ponies, but she knew that there would be no point in arguing, yet she was not going to give up that easy, the moment Celestia and Luna would get into trouble, she and her friends will be ready to interfere.

Slowly the throne room what was full to it is limits was now almost empty as 3 powerful Alicorns were standing in the cerner.

" You wish to settle this without anyone else involved, very well, we will play be your rules, it is at last the last think we can do after what we tryed to do to you " said Celestia as she and Luna charged they horns.

' I was afraid that this day will come, but this time I m ready to fight, sush a pity that it have to end this way, that we will need to destroy the one who saved us 1 year ago ' Celestia thought to herself as giant doors were sealed by her magic as well as balcony and windows.

Nightmare Moon was still in a shock, but she recovered sonce she noticed all entrances are sealed, that will complicate thinks a bit since she hoped to open portal outside the castle, " yes, I have came to settle it once and for all " Nightmare Moon said as she made few step foward, " but I do not wish to settle it by fighting ".

After those words, Luna and Celestia smiled, as they once again had hope to repair they mistake from year ago, " You, you did not ? " asked Luna and Celestia in union.

" No, I did not, I have somethink diferent in mind ", ansfered Nightmare Moon, now smiling.

" Have you came to gave us secound chance, so we can all forget about what happened 1 year ago and move foward ? " asked Celestia, as she wanted to confirm her hopes.

" No " Nightmare Moon ansfered coldly with malice in her eyes.

" But, you just said that you do not want to fight, please, I m realy sorry about what happened, I wish I could turn it back, but despice what happened, I will do my best to pay up for what we did " said Celestia fast with pleading in her voice.

" Do not lie, as much as I wish it to be true, it is just a lie, it is impossible to return now. "

Luna excitement once more turned into confusion, " what, but it is not a lie, you can return to us, and live with us in the castle, I will do my best to make up for what we did to you "

" So you can destroy me when I will expect it least " ansfered Nightmare Moon, this time with even more anger in her voice.

Luna step back speechless, " We would never do that, please trust us, we are ", said Celestia before Nightmare Moon cut off "  I can not trust you, it is to risky "

" To risky, what do you mean ? " asked Celestia as her confusion grown.

" First off, I have power, knowledge and resources with what I can defeat you both and take over Equestria, this is the main reason of your fear, you will never take risk to trust someone who can overpower you and hurt your subjects, I m a threat, sooner or later you will banish or destroy me, and I wont take that risk. "

Celestia started to fell sadness and guild, as her hopes were broken, Nyxie did not wanted to trust her or Luna, because she is afraid that no one will trust her.

" Please Nyxie, we will never do that, and even if we would try, you can easy escape or fight again us, with so much power  you do not need to fear us, and we do not fear you, we are realy sorry for what happened, we know the truth, so please, just trust us as much we trust you. " Luna desperatly tryed to calm down Nightmare Moon fears, but when she thought about it, she fear her a little bit,  but she could deal with it.

" I wont be able to fight you off, I wont be safe, I just discovered that powers I absorbed are just temporary, overtime when I will use my magic and energy, I will slowly return to the size of defensless Alicorn filly, and it would be perfect opportunity to finish me off so that I wont be a threat in the future, it is risk that I and my friends in Nyxie mind decided not to take.

' She realy is slowly turning into filly again, it would be perfect, no one would need to fear her powers and we would rise her, but as good as it sounds, it seems impossible, she fear us, she fear that we can strike her down the moment she will be weak, the trust she had in us has gone 1 year ago ' thought Celestia as she had no idea what is going to happen, do they will fight after all, but she told tham that she do not want to fight, yet she wont live with tham in the castle, so how is she going to settle it once and for all, " so what will you do now ? "

On that questiion, Nightmare Moon smiled again as she waited exacly for that question, " oh, that is simple, I will

bid you farewell ", " What " both Celestia and Luna said in union.

" Are you going somewhere ? " asked Luna out of curiocity.

" Yes, I m, to a place faaaaar faaaar away from here, to a place unknown for me, from where you will never need to fear us again " reply Nightmare Moon as she started to wave her hoof in good bye as her horn started to charge, as she droped 1 or 2 tears.

" Where, where are you going too ? " asked Celestia, her voice full of fear, as her mind crossed many diferent ideas by what this filly mean, do she is going to another country, or do she want to end her live.

" I m going to another dimention, Mind Enslaver used interdimentional portal to summon power, I will use it to escape from this world "

" Wwww.... wait, you are just going to leave us, just like that, because you fear us ? " asked Luna as she droped some tears as well.

At those words Nightmare Moon closed her eyes, as her armor slowly dissapeared, leaving Nightmare Nyx to say goodbye to tham, " Not only because I m afraid of you, but also because you both are afraid of me, once I m gone, everyone here will be more happy, and the place I m going too do not know of my existence, I will lie low, dissquise myself, find some friends and than set up for a normal happy live, no one will be afraid of me, as I will hide my powers, now than that is said, Good Bye " said Nightmare Nyx as she once again waves her hoofs, as she went into balcony on Throne room, with one strong shot from her horn  she broke Celestia weak barrier what was ment to isolate the guards from the throne room.

As she flew outside, she noticed that she is surrounded by Night Guards, but they all kept they distance in diferent places as to block any road of escape.

As Nightmare Nyx could not make more distance from balcony, she decided to fopen portal in the air, as she focused her magic in a horn, she slowly started to open a small portal in the middle of the air, all guards were stuned or even terrified at what they just saw, none of tham decided to move any closer, more less to stop Nightmare Nyx.

Flash

Before portal fully opened, Celestia and Luna appeared in front of Nightmare Nyx in a flash, blocking her way, " You do not have to do this, you do not have to leave " said Luna, " Please, forgive us for what we did, give us another chance " said Celestia.

Nightmare Nyx hessitated for a moment, only to hug Luna, and than break hug and hug Celestia, " Ofcourse I forgive you ", on those words Celestia and Luna hug her together, as they belivied she was going to give tham a chance, only to notice how Nightmare Nyx focus magic in her horn and cast invisibility on herself as she escape from group hug.

" I forgive you, and I wish I could trust you, but I promissed my soul friends that I wont take risk,  wish you best of luck, good bye, and tell good bye from me to everyone I played in the castle " and before Celestia and Luna figured out from where the voice come from, portal closed.

Now Celestia and Luna were flying in the air alown, Nightmare Nyx was gone, gone forever, on one side they were happy that they did not had to fight her, and that they manage to appologice and receive forgiveness, on the other side they just let a filly, a friend, leave into unknown world.

Celestia and Luna hoped that they would get a chance to repay hero for saving tham, to repay for hurting her, to let her have happy live with many friends and even love after all harship Nyxie had to go.

Happines and sadness, reliev and guild, those were fellings Celestia and Luna were left with, as they had to go back to they normal live, debts never to be paid, and wish that she will find happines in this alternative dimention.

Alternative Equestria, 413 years after Nightmare Moon defeat

Nightmare Nyx went out from portal, she was invisible so that no one from Canterlot Castle will see her, or it would ruin entire plan of lying low.

Nightmare Nyx watched in the air, instead of day it was a Twilight, ' princess probably decided to move the sun a little later in this dimention ' Nightmare Nyx thought to herself, as she turned around to see the town only for her jaw drop.

In fron of her was a complitly ruined liveless castle, than she noticed entire city in ruin, a big sillent in the air, not a single pony in the horisont, ' what happened here ? '

As Nigthmare Nyx saw entire city ruined, she started to fly all around, searching for any pony or anythink what would be left of one, any clue what could happen here, but there was nothink, just a ruined liveless Canterlot city, no pony, not even a corpse.

' This is now how i imagined to start my adventure '
