Road Trip Adventure

With the navigator on, Sunset Shimmer followed the directions while driving the RV to the RV park and resort. She figured out which way to go, and which road to take. Her friends all took turns at sitting in the passenger seat beside her whenever they stop at gas stations, places to eat, and some car parks so she can stop driving and sleep. But Pinkie Pie was starting to answer the same question over and over.

"Are we there yet?" She would say.

"No, Pinkie." Said Sunset Shimmer. "It'll take a few days to get there."

"Are we there yet, Sunset?" Asked Rainbow Dash.

"We get there when we get there!" Said Sunset.

When they drove further, Pinkie still wouldn't stop as this went on almost the entire trip.

"Hey, are we there yet?" She sang.

"No!" Said Princess Twilight.

"Are we there yet?" Pinkie asked again.

"Not yet." Said Sci-Twi.

"Are, we there, yet?" Said Pinkie.

"Yes." Said Rainbow Dash.

"Really?" Asked Pinkie.

"NO!" Rainbow shouted.

"Are we there yet?" Said Pinkie.

"Cut it out!" Said Fluttershy.

"Are we there yet?" Said Pinkie.

"No we are not!!" Snapped Rarity.

"ARE WE THERE YET?!?!?" Shouted Pinkie.

"NOOOO!!!" Her friends screamed.

Pinkie Pie felt embarrassed asking the same question to her friends every few hours, and then she started talking with Sci-Twi.

"Are we there yet?" They both said. "That’s not funny. Hey, that’s really immature."

"Pinkie, what is it with all of these questions?" Asked Spike. "Shouldn't you just wait till we get there?"

"I can't help it, Spike!" Said Pinkie Pie. "I’m gonna just stop talking!"

"FINALLY!" Said Sci-Twi.

"But this is taking forever, Twilight." Said Starlight Glimmer. "There’s no in-flight movie or nothing."

"Why don't we all just take a nap until we get there." Said Sci-Twi. "It shouldn't take too long to get there now."

Then Sci-Twi went to the front and asked Sunset Shimmer how long until they reached their destination.

"Sunset, how far are we?" She said.

"Only a couple more hours until we arrive at our destination." Said Sunset.

"That's good." Said Sci-Twi, then she turned to Princess Twilight in the passenger seat. "What books are you reading?"

"Oh, you know." Said Princess Twilight. "Just some things about what to do when you're on vacation. There's so many choices, I just can't decide on what we should do when we arrive at the RV park."

"I'll take care of your books, you can have a nice long nap until we arrive." Said Sci-Twi.

"That sounds like a good idea." Said Princess Twilight.

It had only been 2 hours, and everyone was asleep taking a nap. Except for Rarity and Applejack, as they were watching some romantic films Rarity had on her laptop she brought along for the trip. They had earphones plugged in so they wouldn't disturb their friends while they were taking their nap.

"This is so romantic!" Said Rarity. "Just the two of us watching the same movies with romance and love!"

"Be quiet, Rarity!" Whispered Applejack. "You'll wake the others!"

A little while later, Sunset saw something up ahead and hit the brakes causing her friends to wake up. The freeway exit was closed for emergency repairs, and there were barriers blocking the road.

"Oh, no!" Cried Sunset. "This road is closed for emergency repairs!"

"Sunset Shimmer, what are we gonna do?" Asked Princess Twilight nervously.

"There's gotta be another way." Said Sunset.

Just then, Sunset looked right and saw a forest road which looked very dark.

"Hold on everyone, we're turning right into the forest road!" She said.

She started the engine and turned right, as they drove into the forest. The girls were worried, everything looked so dark and spooky.

"Sunset, is this the way to the RV park?" Asked Starlight Glimmer.

"I'm not sure, Starlight." Said Sunset. "The navigator won't work if we took the wrong turn!"

The forest road was very bumpy, the girls were being bounced around all over the place.

"Isn't this fun?" Said Pinkie Pie.

"No Pinkie!" Said Rainbow Dash. "I don't like this!"

When they drove out of the forest, they ended up on a high mountain road. The girls were getting more worried as they were going very high.

"Sunset Shimmer, you have to slow down!" Cried Princess Twilight.

"I gotta get off this mountain road somehow!" Said Sunset.

"We're very high up!" Cried Fluttershy. "I can't stand this!"

Suddenly, Sunset saw a rockslide up ahead and hit the brake hard on. The girls were shot forward as the RV came to a complete stop, its bumper was just inches away from the big rocks.

"That was too close!" Said Princess Twilight.

"Sunset, you have to reverse out of here." Said Sci-Twi.

"But I'm afraid we'll crash if I accidentally reverse off the road." Said Sunset. "I'll get out to see what the problem is, stay put."

When Sunset got out of the RV to inspect the rockslide, she was concerned about how to get to the RV park from the mountain road. Sunset didn't know Princess Twilight got out of the RV as well to figure out how to get through.

"These rocks are so big, we'll never be able to continue on!" She said.

Suddenly, Princess Twilight accidentally stepped on a loose rock and nearly fell off the mountain slope. Sunset grabbed her by the ribbon and pulled her back upright.

"Princess Twilight, what are you doing out of the RV?" She asked suspiciously.

"I'm sorry, Sunset." Said Princess Twilight. "I'm just not sure about which way to take."

Just then, Sunset saw a steep slope behind Princess Twilight. It lead down a mountain towards an earth path and saw the RV park in the distance.

"Twilight, you're a genius!" Said Sunset. "Let's get back in the RV and continue driving."

"But the road is blocked!" Said Princess Twilight.

"Don't worry, I've got an idea!" Said Sunset, as she got back into the driver seat.

When Princess Twilight back inside, she told her friends on Sunset was gonna do.

"Alright everyone, listen up!" She said. "Sunset is gonna take us straight to the RV park!"

All of the girls cheered, they couldn't wait to get to paradise.

"But if we're gonna get there, you all have to hold onto something very tightly!" Said Princess Twilight. "Because we're gonna have one long bumpy ride, so prepare yourselves!"

Princess Twilight got in the passenger seat, buckled up and grabbed hold to the handlebar that was in front of her as if she was on an amusement ride.

"Are you ready, Sunset?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, Twilight." Said Sunset. "Hold on tight!"

And with that, Sunset backed up a little, drove forward and turned left down the mountain slope. It was a very bumpy ride when they were going down. The girls were holding on firmly with their hands on the objects they held. Sci-Twi's glasses flew off her and landed onto Starlight Glimmer's eyes.

"My glasses!" She cried. "Give them back!"

"I can't!" Cried Starlight. "We have to hold onto something until Sunset slows down the RV!"

When they drove off the mountain slope, they drove along the dirt road that had lots of holes, bumps and cracks. Sunset hit the brake as hard as she could, but lost control and the RV tumbled over. All the girls were screaming as the RV rolled like a barrel, but then it landed on its wheels when they neared a fallen tree. Princess Twilight and Sunset were very dizzy, with their hair all messy.

"Is everyone okay back there?" Asked Sunset.

The girls couldn't get up, they felt very sick and dizzy from the tumbling. The interior was a mess a well, Starlight was worse than before.

"I think I'm gonna throw up!" She said, as she snatched a paper bag off Pinkie Pie and vomited.

When Rarity got out of the RV, she gasped in horror.

"MY RV IS SCRATCHED!" She shouted. "That motorhome costed like a fortune!"

"Calm down, Rarity." Said Sunset. "I'm sure there's a mechanic at the RV park that'll fix the dents and scratches."

Applejack got out of the RV and moved the fallen tree out of the way, so the girls would go through. Princess Twilight and Starlight were amazed.

"Wow, Applejack!" Said Princess Twilight. "I didn't know you can carry heavy things!"

"Neither did I!" Said Starlight.

"Well, you could thank me later." Said Applejack. "We really should get going now!"

"But what about my RV?" asked Rarity. "We can't go anywhere in a damaged vehicle! What will the public say?"

"Don't worry, Rarity." Said Sci-Twi putting her glasses back on. "I'm sure we'll get it fixed while we enjoy our holiday."

Rarity wasn't so sure, so the girls got back in the RV, and they continued driving off the bumpy road, and back onto the smooth flat asphalt to get to the RV park.
