Dr Ivo Robotnik is the obese yet brilliant evil mastermind responsible for terrorizing the world of Sonic the Hedgehog in his quest to rule a global empire. His engineering mastery has lead him to create a vast array of unique robot warriors, all of which are used to take over the world. His niece is said to be almost as brilliant as her uncle, but one day she vanishes without a trace, though Robotnik is concerned, he has other things to take care of first before he can search for her.

Meanwhile, in Equestria, Princess Celestia receives a basket with a female human infant inside. One with a set of blue tinted glasses and a headband. She takes in the child as though it were her own, but doesn't realize the child will decide the fate of Equestria, either she will conquer it for her own or she will save it. Whatever it shall be, the fate of all will be at her fingertips.
