Goku entered, Sunset and Roshi however were both eyeing his opponent Nam on the other side. Sunset frowned “I have a feeling he is here for a different reason other than fighting.”

Roshi frowned “Quite perceptive but to find out I’ll have to read his mind. Search his memories.”

Sunset frowned “I’ll leave you to that, I’ll observe the fight.”

Goku was watching his opponent carefully as he entered the ring. Nam watched him with a similar look, the announcer boomed “The third match of the first round is the young boy, Goku vs Nam, a seasoned fighter from a far away village! May the match begin!”

Goku dissapeared in a flash of speed, Nam jumped into the air just in time to avoid the initial strike. He then forced himself downward with a speedy kick, Goku grabbed his leg and slammed him into the ground. Sunset frowned “Goku can’t lose this in terms of power and speed. Nam is completely outmatched.”

Roshi frowned “He needs water for his village, I’ll give him something after this match.”

Nam leapt up and eyed Goku “I can’t lose this match, I have too much to lose.” Goku rushed forward, dodging to the side of Nam’s chop and kicked him in the gut sending him flying out of the ring.

The announcer boomed “Goku has won the fight against Nam!”

As Nam left the arena he was pulled aside by Roshi and Sunset, Roshi smiled as he handed him a capsule “This is a Hoipoi capsule, you can fill it up with water.”

Nam bowed “Thank you but where will I get water to fill this.”

Sunset giggled “This island is abundant in water, you can take as much as you need from the local well.” She waved as Nam’s jaw dropped “My match is next and I can’t be late.”

Sunset soon found her way to the stage, she shrugged at her opponent. The announcer boomed “The final match of the first round will between Sunset Shimmer and the fearsome Gilan! Begin!”

Goku cheered “Go mum!”

Gilan swung his tail at Sunset, she blocked it and punched him in the gut. Sunset frowned “Is that all!” Gilan spat out some strange goopy material that seemed to bind her in place, Sunset sighed as she flared out her fiery aura that burnt the material to cinders. She dissapeared and then reappeared behind him, knocking him out with a chop.

The announcer boomed “Sunset Shimmer defeated Gilan in an amazing display of speed and power!”

Sunset shrugged as she passed Bulma “Hopefully your fight will be more entertaining than mine was.” Bulma nodded with a smile, she soon stood opposite Krillin on the stage.

Krillin smirked “I think it be wise for you to forfeit, I don’t want to hurt you.”

Bulma giggled “I don’t think you should count your chickens before they hatch.” She then raise d her arms “I’m ready.”

The announcer boomed “Well it seems both fighters are ready! The fight begins now!” Bulma knew she could outmatch Krillin in power but power isn’t everything. Krillin rushed forward, Bulma began firing off small ki blasts which started to form up smoke around the both of them. Bulma leapt out of the smoke and kicked Krillin then leapt back.

When she leapt out again, Krillin was ready and delivered a powerful kick in the gut. She coughed up a bit of blood, Krillin leapt at her. She fired a blast at the ground and blasted herself back into the smoke. Krillin couldn’t see her in the smoke, he growled “Stop hiding!”

Bulma rushed out of the smoke with a large ball of energy in her hand. She slammed that into him sending him hurtling through the smoke, he stopped himself just before the edge of the ring. Bulma was taking a deep breath as the smoke dissipated, she then vomited up blood. Sunset and Goku looked on with worry, Bulma rushed at Krillin.

Krillin delivered a swift punch, Bulma ducked it and kicked him in the face sending him hurtling out of the ring. The announcer boomed “Bulma wins!”

Bulma staggered out of the ring, Sunset and Goku were worried. That kick was powerful, and judging from the fate she was vomiting blood that didn’t bode well. Both headed for the room. Bulma was laying on her side, her eyes glowed as she cast a quick spell. She grimaced “Bulma, you need to see a doctor. You have a tear in your stomach and that’s where the blood is coming from.”

Bulma smiled as she pulled out a capsule and tossed it onto the floor a bunch of syringes with glowing green fluid were in it. She pulled out the largest one and injected it into the area. Bulma gave her a thumbs up “Capsule Corp medical fluid, designed to heal internal injuries without need of a doctor. Expensive to make though, still trying to figure out how to mass produce it.”

Bulma smiled weakly “Your fight with your son is up next, you better head out. I’ll be fine with some rest.”

Sunset and Goku walked out both glad to know that their friend was okay. Sunset and Goku faced each other. The announcer boomed “The mother and son are standing opposed to each other. Let the fight begin!”

Sunset grinned “Let’s put on a good show, this is the last fight after all!” Goku nodded as the two dissapeared, shockwaves began filling the arena. Sunset cracked the ring in half as Goku leapt back firing ki blasts.

Sunset dodged them rapidly as she closed the distance. Goku leapt over her by blasting the ground and began charging energy in his hands. Sunset turned around and they did the same. Goku yelled out “Kamehameha!”

Sunset roared as she fired off her own blast “Kamehameha!” The two blast collided in the centre of the arena, the arena around them was torn apart leaving only two piece which they were standing on. Goku winced as his beam started to be pushed back. He winced as he was blasted into the wall landing out of the ring.

The announcer boomed “The winner is Sunset!”

Goku smiled “I’ve still a lot of work to do to catch up with you.”

The announcer frowned as someone one gave him a letter, the announcer boomed “Due to injuries Miss Briefs has forfeited the final round. Sunset is the winner of the tournament.” The crowd cheered! As mother and son shook hands.
