It had been a couple of months since Sunset and Vegeta had arrived on Yardrat. The Sunset and Vegeta who was in his Super Saiyan form were sparring in the wastelands, the pair teleported around using Instant Transmission countering each other’s punches.

Sunset formed up a massive orb of fiery red energy, she roared as he fired it toward Vegeta “Setting Sun!”

Vegeta = caught the blast, stopping it in it’s tracks. Vegeta took a deep breath “You are really strong. I just can’t keep up.”

Sunset shrugged “It’s the product of hard work. I still want to know why you wanted to fight me today.”

Vegeta smirked “You are strong, fierce and full of power. I was hoping to formally court you as the Prince of the Saiyans, you have impressed me.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow “I am interested but what does Saiyan courtship entail.”

Vegeta grinned “True Saiyan courtship involves fighting every day for several hours until the day of union. It is a long and involved process that pushes both warriors to their fullest extent. It is only done by the Royal Family to produce the strongest heirs.”

Sunset smirked “Sounds like my type of courtship! Let’s do this!” Vegeta and Sunset lunged at each other with greater ferocity, Sunset delivered a barrage of punches. Vegeta blocked most of the punches, wincing as a few punches struck past his guard.

Pybara had a clone watching them closely in the wasteland that was covered in brutal explosions form sheer power being emitted. Pybara chuckled to himself with his eyes closed back in the city “I may have to marry some people before too long.”

Meanwhile back on Earth, Bulma had just finished training for the day. All of the Namekians were staying around Capsule Corp in large houses, she noticed that Rainbow was sitting next to Fluttershy who had Angel Bunny sitting on her head.

Tien was mediating next to Piccolo, Bulma walked over to them “Is everything going well?”

Piccolo grimaced “This feels weird, playing goody goody with all of you. My father would have tried something by now.”

Tien opened his eyes “You are not your father Piccolo, you are different. There is a choice that you can make, there is cruelty within everyone. The choice to be that way is yours and there is always a chance to make second choice.”

Bulma nodded “He is right you know.”

Piccolo closed his eyes, Bulma smiled as she saw a frazzled Twilight. She walked over and gave her a kiss on the cheek “Is everything okay?”

Twilight shook her head frantically “These Namekians are not telling me anything about their culture. I just wish to learn.”

Bulma frowned “Twilight, life is not just about science. They have been through a lot, we shouldn’t pressure them. Maybe you could ask Fluttershy but be careful she is shy, if you bombard her with questions she will tell you naught.”

Twilight rubbed her eyebrows “Goku is insistent on searching for his mum, he has come here every day asking for a ship. I don’t know how much longer I can refuse him.”

Bulma grimaced “I’ll talk to him.” Bulma have Twilight a hug “Don’t worry everything will be fine.”

Bulma walked over to Goku who was tapping his foot as he leaned against the wall, Bulma frowned “Sunset will return. Have faith in your mum, she and Vegeta did escape Namek. I’m sure of it.”

Goku growled “Then why hasn’t she returned, it’s been two months! We have had no word from her, even King Kai has kept in contact is not sure where she is.”

Bulma sighed “Goku, Sunset must have her reasons. She will return but what about your other family, Miso and Chi-Chi. Imagine how they would feel if you just went off for who knows how long.”

Goku sighed “You’re right, I just want her to come home.” Her left before Bulma could say a word, he flew back to his home. He opened the door, Chi-Chi and Miso were mediating in the centre of the room.

Goku sat down at the table, Gohan walked with a frown “Goku did she tell you no again.”

Goku frowned “Bulma told me something important, I have been neglecting my family here on Earth. Getting back to Earth isn’t easy, besides mum may be learning something new out there. I have been letting this get to me too much.’

Gohan sat down “You have been with her for years and this first time when you had no threat to distract you from her absence. Sunset has been driven by the quest for power her entire life, at least from what she has told me. It’s why she came here, she seek to be the pinnacle of all things.”

Goku frowned “I am not that different from that, I want to grow stronger to push my limits.”

Gohan frowned “It is more than that, it’s her reason for living. If we were to take that away from her, she would give up on life. It has been a concern of mine but the chances of someone reaching the end of that path is practically impossible so I have tried not to be concerned.”

Goku shook his head “Mum is stronger than that, she will never give into despair! I know it!”

Gohan sighed “I hope you are right but I have just a have a bad feeling in my stomach about all this. Still I don’t think I will happen anytime soon so we don’t have to worry for a while.”

Chi-Chi and Miso opened their eyes, Chi-Chi smiled “Come on Miso, I’m going help you study.”

Goku stood up and followed them, he picked up one of the books off the shelf. Miso looked at her father “what are you doing?”

Goku frowned “Sunset, your grandma may be quite a fighter but before we met she was from an educated background. I think it’s about time I start learning at least the basics, I don’t want embarrass her when I finally get to see her birthplace.”

Chi-Chi smiled “I’ll help, let’s start at the beginning.” The three began the study session as a family.
