The Equestica War

Okay, first off: Im never going to be normal.

Lets start with my world.

I live in Equestica. Its a state that, however you look at it, is chaotic. It's ruled by elected governments. The pony government raise the sun and moon every day and night, and the human government take care of citizens and money and worldly things. For the ponies, It usually takes a team to raise the sun because of the power it takes. And more specifically, I live in ponyvile. Its right next to, or again, however you look at it, merged with a human city called Syracuse. Yep. We live with humans. Ancient stories say that humans and Ponies have lived together in harmony ever since we met in the middle of the earth after being apart for so long. we started to explore. After we met we built civilization together.

As you probably know, humans aren't all that smart.

I mean yeah, they make all these cool inventions, like the computer, the car, and projectors, and they have lots of things to benefit from science. but that's just the thing! ever since humans have been good at science, they feel as if they need to know everything. i don't understand why they think they can just take the free will of other creatures and living things, even to go as far as to kill their ENDANGERED species. Humans are great in their own way, but worse in some others. For example humans discriminate other people (that's what they call themselves) for a lot of things. And they litter, trash, and pollute the planet. Some dont, because of course they aren't ALL bad.

This is what lead to the war.

The war had been on for about 7 years now. I wish I could do something, but America has nuclear weapons, and if they discover something to use them for... Maybe I could figure something out, do something to save everycreature, but I cant use my magic that well. Thats about all you need to know of the times we're all going through.

Now for me.

I'm an only child, and my parents... Split up. I don't really know how to feel about it because i was so young when it had happened. I turn 13 soon, and when i do, im gonna do something to help. I keep myself busy by playing games. I enjoy playing them, whether it be online or with something real, or with my parents, but I don't really have friends, so there's only so much to keep me occupied.

You get used to the terrible world that's been made. That's not a good thing though. If you didn't know already, my name is Flickering Lights. It sucks staying hidden. You see: I'm an alicorn. I was born an alicorn, and my parents didn't know what to do when they saw me. I have been hiding for my whole life, and until I turn 18, my parents wont let me show people that I'm really an alicorn, for obvious reasons.

Anyway, that's your background info. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, there's always a lot more to learn about everything. And that isn't always a good thing.
