Chapters Chapter 1: First Bandit Camp
In a normal world, Jaxon would have been shocked at best, and pissed at worst for being taken from Earth to another world or dimension. However, ever since he married Aqua, normal became less common, thus making his situation with his wife much more tolerable. After waking up from unconsciousness, they looked around and saw that they had ended up at the edge of a dark and foreboding forest. With no words needing to be said, they left, found a road, and began to travel down it. Or, at least Aqua did with Jaxon in her arms.
The jump between dimensions affected the couple in different ways, mostly because of what and who they are. Aqua drinking the Hist Sap caused the hair on top of her head to fall off and regrow as Loquat Yellow feathers...and not much else, as her Kappa Dragon biology filters everything she eats and drinks to the point that the only ‘waste’ she makes is pure, clean water and various poisons and medicines either don’t work or are weaker for her. Jaxon placing the bracers on, however, affected him more. Being human, he had no real resistance to magic, so he ended up weaker after crossing over.
A few minutes of walking in silence seemed to increase Aqua’s worry for her husband. She gently gave him a shake and asked, “Honey, are you okay?”
Jaxon weakly looked up into his wife’s eyes and gave her a thankful smile. “Aside from feeling like I’ve been without sleep for a while, but just can’t sleep; I’m okay.” Aqua smiled at him and gave him a kiss, transferring a mouthful of her water into him to keep him hydrated as they walked.
Just as they pulled away from each other’s lips, Aqua suddenly tripped over and breaking a fence she didn’t notice. Thankfully, she kept her balance and didn’t drop Jaxon. She looked at the broken fence, then gently leaned him against a nearby tree as she began careful attempts to fix the fence.
“Hey!” A voice from within the trees yelled out, briefly scaring Aqua into breaking the fence a bit further. She turned around and saw an orange pony galloping into view before standing up on her back legs like a human. The pony was dressed in a flannel shirt, denim shorts, and a stetson hat. Strapped to her back was a warhammer, which she promptly drew and aimed at Aqua.
“Umm...Hi?” Aqua said with an awkward smile and wave.
“Don’t ‘Umm, hi’ me, missy!” The semi-anthro pony yelled, causing Aqua to withdraw backward, tripping herself over some of the wood that made up the former fence. “Now, what’s with the broken fence?! You break through it to try to steal some of my livelihood!? My family’s prized apples!?” With each sentence, she pulled the hammer back, ready to slam it down at a moment’s notice.
Before she could continue her angry interrogation, an arrow struck the hammer’s head, scaring the pony into dropping the weapon and look to where the arrow came from. There, she saw Jaxon weakly standing while struggling to keep his bow steady as he had another arrow ready to shoot. After a tense few seconds, he replaced his arrow and bow to his quiver and back before almost falling over. Aqua was quick to catch him and keep him balanced as he talked to the pony.
“Easy there. The fence was an accident. We just had a bad trip to this dimension, and I came out weaker for some reason,” he said to the pony. “I’m just glad it didn’t affect my wife as much, since she carried me at least this far.”
“And how does that lead to the fence getting broken?” The pony asked, impatience showing in her voice.
“She’s a bit of a klutz and a ditz,” Jaxon answered. “And I’m saying that to say that those are a part of her and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Aqua’s worry was dropped when he said that. She ‘squeed’ and glomped him in a hug, lifting him off his feet and just enjoying the moment.
‘Ahem’
Until the pony decided to ruin the moment.
“Well, you have conviction in your voice, which means you’re at least being honest,” the pony said as she picked her weapon up off the ground and placed it back on her back. “Sorry about the shouting and the hammer. We’ve had a small bandit problem recently, and I don’t tolerate thieves.”
Aqua’s eyes perked up at her words and dropped Jaxon to do a little giddy, victory dance. “Did you hear that!? She’s got a quest for us!” She was about to glomp the pony in a hug, but a quick and hard slap to her butt from Jaxon and she overshot her jump in fright, missing the pony entirely.
“Easy there, my Beautiful Bubbly Bottle Butt,” he said as he sat up from his fallen position, gently admonishing his wife with his words alone. “This isn’t a video game. If we want to take care of bandits someone, it’s best if we discuss with said someone about compensation.” He turned to the pony and asked, “What’s the local currency; and how much does an inn room cost?
The pony put a hoof to her chin in brief thought. “We use bits, gold coins, like this.” She pulled out a golden coin that looked barely bigger around than an outdated 50¢ coin. “And it costs ten bits to pay for a room at an inn...assuming there’s one available.”
“Why wouldn’t a room be available?” Aqua asked as she stood up and brushed the dirt off of herself.
“The Summer Sun Celebration is tomorrow,” the pony explained. “We’ve had ponies coming in from all over Equestria.”
“Hmm...you okay with paying us 100 bits?” Jaxon asked. “It’ll mostly be for paying for the inn room and food until we can properly get our lives back on track.”
The pony nodded and extended a hoof. “That’s a deal,” she said. Jaxon shook her hoof in agreement. She then pointed her hoof toward the southwest. “Every time I catch those bandits pilfering my trees, they end up running that direction. They are either hiding their camp just outside the property in that direction or they run that way before circling around and hiding in the Wild Apple trees.”
“Gotcha,” Jaxon said, giving the pony a nod. “We’ll get right on it. How do you want them dealt with?”
“They’ve been pestering us for months now, so do what you feel is necessary,” she said. “And again, sorry for the roughness I showed earlier. I’m Applejack.”
“I’m Jaxon, and that beautiful dragon is my wife, Aqua,” he said. “Stay safe and we’ll be back as soon as we’re done.” He then walked away with Aqua following.
When they were a fair distance away, Jaxon stopped and spoke, “Applejack suggested two potential camp locations. Want to check them together or split up and check both locations at once?” Aqua shrugged her shoulders. “Let’s just do it together. Until we are more stable, we should stick together.”
The couple then began their search. They first checked the Wild Apple trees, but after a few hours of searching, there was no hint of a camp being there. So they exited the farm property in the direction that Applejack directed and kept their eyes peeled for clues. It took until the sun was starting to set that they found an idea of where they were. They were standing outside of a cave that had a ‘campfire smell’ coming from inside it and a relatively large stream flowing into it.
Jaxon scrounged together some materials to make a torch before turning to his wife. “I’m gonna go in and see about taking out the bandits,” he said as he lit it with a spark of fire from his hand. “If any attempt to flee through this way, either take them out or trap them from leaving.” Aqua nodded and took a glance at the stream as Jaxon entered the cave.
A few minutes of walking and he saw a campfire with four bandits sitting around it. Two were pegasi, one was a griffin, and the last one was a unicorn. They were all lightly armored and armed with daggers and bows. As quietly as he could, he unsheathed his sword and set it on the ground before drawing his bow and an arrow. He took aim at the unicorn and fired a shot.
The arrow was aimed at the unicorn’s forehead, but it ended up hitting his horn. The arrow’s impact, and the unicorn’s screaming got the rest of the bandits on guard and frightened. The griffin, having better gripping appendages, began working on attempting to extract the arrow from his buddy’s horn. The two pegasi ran to where they saw some torchlight to find the archer, but the first one into the torchlight was struck by another arrow.
The second pegasus made an attempt to stop, but ended up with a bronze sword through the gut. Jaxon entered the main cavern chamber, causing the griffin and unicorn to stop their struggling and pull out their weapons. The griffin made an attempt to attack him, but Jaxon was able to sidestep and trip him. The Unicorn did the same, but got sliced and stabbed pretty badly in the attempt, falling down dead.
The griffin, seeing that he’s outmatched, ran through the cave’s passage toward the exit. He took a quick peek behind himself to see if Jaxon was pursuing, but he ended up running into something that was soft and was blocking the exit. After shaking off his dizziness from the impact, he took a look at what had blocked him from leaving and his eye widened in a combination of shock and arousal.
Standing just outside the cave was Aqua, but her chest piece of her leather armor had been detached, showing that her shirt-covered bust had been inflated to a huge size. While Jaxon was inside the cave, Aqua drank a lot of water from the stream, causing her bust to swell up for her to use to block the cave.
She gave the griffin a flirtatious smile, which got him to awkwardly smile back. Aqua then started to turn around, and as she did so, the water that she drank to inflate her bust shifted and flowed into her rear, making it the huge one. When her inflated butt was fully facing the shocked and aroused griffin, she jumped up and dropped herself, rear first, onto him.
The impact broke many of his bones. While she couldn’t hear them breaking, she could definitely feel them through her sensitive, waterbed butt. She then shifted her weight back and forth, and even jumped a few times, breaking even more bones. After she felt like she gave him enough of a lesson, she stood up and faced the literally broken griffin with a lusty grin.
“You up for some more?” She teasingly asked, to which the griffin weakly nodded. She shifted the water in her body to give her a more ‘chubby’ appearance and ‘carefully’ laid, belly first, upon him. More of his bones broke as she laid down and positioned her head above his. She opened her mouth as if to kiss him, but before their lips met, a cascade of water flowed out of her mouth, powerful enough to overwhelm his means to breathe, but slow enough to not drain her completely. With minimal struggle, the griffin literally drowned to death in pleasure.
With the bandit dead, Aqua stood back up and reattached her armor, careful to readjust the water and the armor so it fit. As she did that, Jaxon exited the cave with a bag, seemingly filled with some of their ill-gotten gains. Just as she finished, Jaxon sat on a nearby rock and tears began to silently flow. Aqua noticed and moved over to him and gave him a hug.
“We did it so casually and for you, lustfully,” he said. “I should be feeling regret, but I’m not feeling any, or at least the amount that should be for people who kill for their first time.”
Aqua briefly tightened her hug when she thought about his words and understood some of his fear. “Honey, we may have killed easily, but we know when to not do it. Didn’t you tell me that you have a ‘problem’ with letting yourself leak into the game rather than the other way around?” He nodded and she continued, “If you act with that manner of thinking now, I’m sure you’ll do the right thing when it matters. You’ll kill when you need to kill, you’ll spare when you need to spare. And even if you end up becoming a murder-addicted psychopath, I’ll never stop loving you.”
Jaxon’s tears slowed after she said that, and he returned the hug. After she pulled away, he stood up and grabbed the bag. “Well, let’s head back to Applejack and report our success,” he said, taking his wife’s hand and leading them towards where they first met her. All while the sun started to finish going past the horizon and allowed the moon and stars to shine their light down on the land.
Author's Note
Turns out, that while the idea of different dimensions and magic is okay for Jaxon, killing easily as if you have done it before and with almost no remorse...yeah, anyone would think oddly about that. Aqua adjusted easier because of a few biological instincts from generations of keeping hidden from humans by any means necessary.
The walk from the outskirts of Sweet Apple Acres to the main town took about an hour for Jaxon and Aqua to accomplish, and that’s including a short rest and ‘bathroom’ break. The town was very simple in most of its construction. The houses were designed similar to Medieval European houses, but were better built. The couple managed to find the town hall, where they felt that Applejack was for the celebration she mentioned.
However, just as they arrived in the town square, one of the sides of the building blew open, with three armored pegasi flying out of the hole. When they landed on the ground, Jaxon realized that they were spazzing from being electrocuted. He dropped his bag and began to administer first aid as best as he could with what he had, including his magic that he was able to more easily test on the walk into town.
Shortly after he started working on the armored pegasi, the inside of the town hall erupted into pandemonium. Almost all of the ponies began screaming, shouting, and fleeing almost all over the place. It was so bad, Aqua had to drain the fountain to use its water like an anti-riot water cannon, just to keep Jaxon and the three pegasi from literally being trampled.
After the mob dispersed into the various houses in the area, a few paramedic ponies showed up and took over keeping the pegasi alive. Jaxon backed away and moved to his bloated wife’s side. “Seems something is happening,” she said as her worry dissipated.
“That’s pretty obvious,” Jaxon said as he leaned against Aqua’s water weight. “I just hope Applejack is okay.”
Aqua turned and just happened to see Applejack in the company of five mares, an armored stallion, and a young dragon. “Hey Applejack!” She called out, getting the farmer mare’s attention. “We took care of those bandits for you! What’s going on?”
Applejack stopped the group and directed them to where Jaxon and Aqua were. “Nice to see you’re okay...you know I never got your names,” she said while adjusting her hat. After a bit of an awkward pause, she asked, “Um, I don’t mean to be rude, but how come you are bigger than when we last met?”
“Applejack!” A white unicorn with purple curly mane and tail, and was wearing fancy clothing, exclaimed in disapproval. “I know you’ve been raised away from most manners, but I’m sure you’ve been taught to not talk about a lady’s weight unless they ask about it!”
Applejack turned to defend herself, but Aqua shouted out, stopping both mares from coming to blows. “Girls! It’s okay. It’s a reasonable question,” She called out. “Admittedly, not one for now, but it’s reasonable.”
“The question that should be asked, by us at least, is: What in Oblivion happened?” Jaxon asked.
“An entity known as Nightmare Moon escaped from her imprisonment on the moon,” a lavender unicorn answered. Said unicorn was wearing what could be easily described as librarian clothing. “And she has the intention of keeping the world in an Eternal Night.”
“That’s not good,” Jaxon said bluntly.
“Yeah, it means Princess Celestia is in trouble and we need to stop Nightmare Moon!” Exclaimed a blue pegasus with rainbow mane and tail, and was wearing sportswear.
“It’s worse than that,” he said, before being cut off again.
“I know! She totally crashed the party!” A hyperactive pink pony exclaimed, causing her ballerina-styled baking outfit to flutter around, giving everyone a view they didn’t need.
“Will you just-” Jaxon began before the sound of glass breaking was heard and he fell silent and a red aura started to flow around him.
“Just what?” The pink pony asked, oblivious to Jaxon’s mental break.
“Just shut up, please!” Aqua uncharacteristically shouted, catching the pink pony off guard. Aqua stood in front of her husband, a blue aura flowing around her. “Sorry for the mean sounding interruption, but my husband has a fragile mind in some aspects. When it does break, he can get angry and violent.”
“So his red aura is like a type of rage mode?” The armored unicorn asked.
“I’m not really sure,” she answered, turning to her husband to look at the aura as is started to vanish and he kneeled down in adrenaline exhaustion. She kneeled down to next to her husband as her aura was vanishing, and she gently hugged him. “I’m almost hyper-in tune with his emotions, but I’ve never seen an aura around him before.”
The last mare, a yellow pegasus with pink mane and tail, and wearing very conservative clothing, spoke up quietly. “He was trying to say something about how Eternal Night is worse than what Rainbow and Pinkie said,” she pointed out. “What was he trying to say?
“To sum up what I’m sure he would have said: ‘Every plant and tree will die. Owls will deafen us with incessant hooting. The town’s sundial will be useless.’” In the last sentence, she pointed in a random direction that just happened to have a large sundial in view on a wagon being pulled by some construction ponies. “No offense.”
“None taken,” the foreman said. “We’re not the ones who ordered it.”
“Anyway, how are we gonna solve the Eternal Night issue?” Jaxon asked as he stood up, being helped by Aqua.
“I’ve read about a set of artifacts known as the Elements of Harmony,” the lavender pony answered. “They were instrumental in imprisoning her in the first place. If we can find and use them, we should be able to stop Nightmare Moon and save Princess Celestia.”
“Well, count us in then,” Aqua said. “Sound more interesting than just clearing out bandits.”
“How can we even trust you?” The armored unicorn asked, a scowl showing on parts of his face visible behind his helmet. “If there is one thing I know about mercenaries, its that you can be easily bought. If Nightmare Moon was to attempt to buy you off, what’s to say you won’t turn on us?”
“Unlike some mercenaries, we have properly oriented brains and morals,” Jaxon responded, and equally harsh scowl directed back at the unicorn stallion. “With life as we know it at risk, money is on the back burner.” He turned to Applejack briefly. “Speaking of money, you don’t need to pay us, Applejack. We found more than just apples in their camp and I think you’ll want these.” He tossed the bag to her and she caught it before taking a look inside.
“What in-” Applejack began to ask before she stopped. “How did they get a hold of Ma’s fancy jewelry?”
“My best guess is that they had one or two distract you in the orchard, while the others snuck into wherever you stored those and made off with them,” Jaxon said.
“So they weren’t after my livelihood?” Applejack asked, clearly confused. “It doesn’t make a lot of sense. Why would they target me when I’m just a simple farmer? They could just as easily go after anyone else and probably find more valuables.”
“Some people just want to watch the world burn, starting from the bottom,” Jaxon said, before clearing his throat. “Depressing and disappointing thoughts aside, we need to get going to find the Elements of Harmony.”
“We can work out proper introductions and explanations as we go,” Aqua said. “Speaking of which, which way do we need to go?”
“Well, follow us,” the lavender unicorn said. “We’ll be heading into the Everfree Forest to search for the Elements.”
“Lead the way,” the couple said, giving each other a fond smile from remembering and quoting from a game.
Unbeknownst to the group, a dark and starry mist floated above them, eavesdropping and stalking them.

Took me a little bit, but things are looking pretty good for the story.
Chapter 3: Introductory Trials
Twilight, the lavender unicorn, led the group into the Everfree Forest. As she led them, everyone gave basic introductions to each other, then stopped talking for a while. It wasn’t until the edge of the forest was out of sight that someone broke the silence.
“So, Aqua,” Spike, the young dragon, spoke. “I’ve never really seen a dragon that looks like you before.”
“That’s because I’m not from here,” Aqua responded. “My husband and I are from a different dimension after we bought a few things.”
“You’re acting like jumping dimensions is not a big problem for you,” Twilight pointed out.
“That’s because, technically, it isn’t,” Jaxon said, pulling out his spear just in case it is needed. “Where we come from, there are some places and houses that have a special pocket dimensions built into it. So, technically, we’ve had our fair share of dimension-hopping.”
“I’ve got a feeling a ‘but’ is on the way,” Applejack commented. She then turned to Rarity, the white unicorn, who was about to speak, and interrupted her before she started. “And not ‘butt’ as in a rump.”
“Our current dimensional trip was done differently,” Aqua said. “We were at a convention and we got a bottle of Hist Sap and a set of bronze bracers. He put the bracers on, and I drank the sap. Next thing we knew, we were here.”
“Huh,” Twilight thought out loud. “That reminds me of a genre in Japony manga. I think it’s called isekai?”
“I-see-wha?” Rainbow, the blue pegasus, asked in confusion.
“Isekai,” Fluttershy, the yellow pegasus, said. “It has to do with a pony or some other creature here on Equis somehow being transported from here to another world of some kind, sometimes changing form or being given abilities to help them survive.” She stopped in her speaking and shrunk a bit from being looked at with questioning looks. “I read manga when I’m not busy with my animals.”
“Thank you, Fluttershy,” Twilight said. “However, unlike isekai, the situation of these two is like how most ponies talk about fan versions of isekai, or displaced.”
“Oh, just like some of my old friends when we did some O&O,” Shining said. “Vivid Vision always had one idea or another of a random pony being thrust into ‘X’ world with ‘Y’ set of powers or visuals.”
“And Lyra in Ponyville seems to do the opposite,” Pinkie said. “She always talked about humans coming from another world and having powers and/or forms they never had before.”
“That about sums up the genre, both the official and fan genres,” Twilight said before she stopped walking. “Umm...do you guys hear that?”
Everyone stopped walking at her words to listen. The sound was barely audible, but it sounded like gravel being disturbed. Suddenly a loud crack was heard, shaking the ground and startling the party, Jaxon dropping his spear over a nearby cliff and Aqua losing balance.
The ground then collapsed beneath them, causing all but the two pegasi to start sliding and falling down the cliffside. The two pegasi, with no needed words, began working on attempting to catch and safely lower.
Jaxon, in an attempt to slow his sliding down, impaled the blade of his spear into the cliffside. Doing that slowed him down, but put some strain on the spear’s shaft. The strain was enough that when some of the ponies and Aqua tumbled past and bumped the spear, the shaft broke. Jaxon was lucky in his scrambling for something to grab, where he was able to grab what was left of the spear.
After what seemed like an hour of holding on for dear life, a voice cut through his panicked concentration. “Honey, let go!” Aqua shouted out to him. Jaxon hesitated for a brief moment, but eventually wrenched the spear remains from the cliff and dropped down with his eyes closed. Barely a second of falling, and he landed on his wife’s bloated belly. Upon impact, Aqua and Jaxon hugged in relief.
After the hug, everyone checked themselves and any gear they brought with them. Jaxon’s broken spear was a bit of a loss for himself, mostly for its original utility being lost. However, his mind remembered a game where a Greek Mercenary was able to make use of a broken spear in combat. So, he simply strapped the broken spear to his back and moved to where Twilight and Aqua stood while waiting on the rest of the group.
The group then began walking again, with Rainbow Dash bragging to an unnecessary degree. Thankfully, Rainbow kept to one side of the group while Jaxon was held by Aqua on the other side of the group. Jaxon was too out of it in barely restrained rage to notice when a manticore attacked the group, before it was calmed by Fluttershy, and allowed the group to move forward.
Things then suddenly went dark, breaking Jaxon out of his dazed rage, and put him on high alert on his wife’s shoulders with his bow out and ready to fire. When Fluttershy screamed in fear, Jaxon went on the offensive, firing arrows at the various ‘faces’ until he had no ammo. Before he could jump to the ground and draw his sword, Pinkie Pie started laughing and singing, pointing out how the arrows made the ‘faces’ look more silly than intimidating.
Eventually, the ‘faces’ faded, leaving trees covered in arrows. The group decided to help recover the arrows and they then moved on. They came to a raging river that everyone, even Aqua, paused at. When crying was heard, the group followed until they found a river serpent. After getting an explanation of his sorrow (and most feeling exasperated at his reasoning), Rarity stepped forward and pulled out a parrying dagger she had hidden in her clothes. After declaring that what happened was a fashion disaster, she readied to cut off her tail, but Jaxon stepped in and pointed out that the deep purple of her tail would match too well with the serpent’s scales and clash deeply with the other half of his mustache. He then drew his sword and offered it and the idea to trim the messy side, and shorten the undisturbed side, to which she agreed.
The trimming went smoothly, allowing the group to cross the river with no problems. They then came to a ravine just before the ruins of an old castle, the aged rope bridge had collapsed a long time ago. With no words exchanged, Rainbow flew across the ravine to repair the bridge. The fog in the area was thick enough to block what Rainbow was doing, worrying Twilight. Her worry was unneeded, as she shortly flew back to the group and walked with the group across the bridge.
As soon as the group entered the castle ruins, everyone crowded around a giant pedestal that held five concrete orbs. Twilight cheered, “These must be the Elements!”
“For a set of artifacts, the don’t look very impressive,” Jaxon commented as Rainbow and Fluttershy brought the orbs to the ground. “Then again, who am I to judge what they should look like. If they can do their job, they can look however they want to.”
Pinkie counted the orbs, only coming to five. “There’s only five? Where’s the sixth?”
“From what I read before, the sixth should show itself when a spark happens between these five,” Twilight answered. “I have an idea on how to test it, but keep back, just in case I’m wrong.”
“Alright, let’s give her some space to work with,” Applejack said, leading the group outside, except for Jaxon and Aqua. “You two coming?”
“We’ll keep an eye on things here,” Jaxon said, glancing at Applejack before returning his attention to the lavender unicorn.
“Yeah,” Aqua agreed, giving Applejack a little more attention than her husband gave her. “Aside from what we went through, arriving here seemed too easy.”
Whirling wind was suddenly heard, alongside Twilight shouting, “The Elements!” Jaxon, having had his attention on the unicorn, jumped into the dark vortex after Twilight did, just as everyone noticed what was happening. Shortly after he jumped in, the vortex vanished.
Aqua began to panic as the rest of the group re-entered the ruins and called for Twilight. With no attention on her surroundings, she stepped on something round that caused her to lose her balance and fall onto her butt. As she was nursing her now bruised bottom, she picked up what she tripped on, only to suddenly hear a voice in her head.
“I'm the dark version of Spyro along with Cynder's powers. I protect my world from dark magic users that seeks to corrupt it. If you face a foe wielding dark magic or a foe you can not face alone, merely lift this orb in the air and call out my name.”
After the message ended, Aqua questioningly looked at the object, a black orb, before holding it up. “Spyro...Dark Spyro? Please come from wherever you are from and please...please help me find my husband and help us save this world from freezing over.”
Immediately after she finished calling out, the orb left her hand and shot a dark beam towards the door. The beam then stopped and formed a large, dark vortex. A figure then stepped out of the vortex. A figure that, minus the face and colors, was very familiar to the Kappa Dragon.
Meanwhile, in a nearby tower in the castle ruins, Jaxon and Twilight fell out of the vortex they jumped into. After they got their bearings, a loud cackle was heard, and they looked over to see a Black and Night themed Alicorn mare holding the Elements in her magic. Jaxon drew his sword and pulled out his broken spear.
The alicorn cackled madly. “You foal! Do you think those will do anything to me?!” She asked in disbelief and humor.
“Does it really matter?” He asked as a red aura slowly began to form around him. He gave Twilight a brief glance before turning back to and charging at the Nightmare. When his blades impacted a dark barrier, a red-tinted aura exploded outward and the clash began.
Author's Note
I may have glossed over the trials and their significance, but with the main focus on our two strange dovahkiin, it should be understandable.
Also, next chapter (or so) is gonna be a crossover. With who? I'll tell you when I publish the chapter(s). In the meantime, have a good day
Chapter 4: Dark Dragon Beats Dark Mare
(Dark Spyro POV)
As I stepped through I was met with a strange sight, a kappa dragon. Most of her body is moss green scales with peach fuzz fur of the same color. The spines of a typical Air Dragon were replaced with longer hair that was a loquat yellow, with tufts of hair at certain joints following the same color. On top of her head, where longer hair would be, were feathers of the same yellow as her other bits. As for her clothing, she wore leather armor as seen in Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, minus the helmet, with her normal, day-to-day clothes under the armor. She had a Dawnguard crossbow strapped to her back and an iron mace was strapped to her belt.
“Huh, you look different than I expected,” she said while rubbing her chin.
"I'm the Spyro from the Skylanders show, not the games," I told her.
“Good to know,” she responded. “I’m Aqua and we need to find my husband and the others before-” She was interrupted when a blue aura started to glow around her. “Oh no…”
"What's wrong?" I asked.
“I just learned today...or tonight?... that when my husband gets mad or flies into a rage, I glow blue in response to him glowing red from said rage,” Aqua explained. “I love my husband, but he can be fragile at times. You don’t know how many times I’ve kept him from killing someone, or breaking something in our first year...which was just today or yesterday.” She stopped talking and pulled the mace off her belt. “I’m rambling, we need to find him before Nightmare Moon kills him or the others.”
"Ok let's go there likely in that tower," I said pointing at it before we started moving.
As we started to ascend a spiral staircase, Aqua asked, “So, dragon, human, or other creature before Displaced?”
"Human, I died saving my granddaughter, while at a convention," I told her. "Not the best way to get displaced."
“Well, I’m a Kappa Dragon, and my husband, Jaxon, is human,” Aqua spoke. “I got, and drank, a gallon of Hist sap and he got and is wearing a set of bracers, both we got from a shady merchant guy.”
"I brought dark Spyro's horns, and Cynder's collar," I said
“So, Dark Spyro from those as a result,” Aqua said, before briefly tripping, but not falling, on some of the steps. “Whoops, sorry, bit of a klutz sometimes.”
"No problem, but my merchant wanted to send two people to my Equestria, but I died before giving it to anyone," I explained
“Well, then maybe there is a chance he could send a second person there, but not a big chance,” Aqua said as we neared the top of the stairs. “And now...what in Oblivion?!”
Looking into the room, I saw the Mane Six of this world, plus Shining Armor and Spike laying on the ground, badly beaten and bruised with a Spartan wannabe standing over them with a sword and what looks to be a dagger fashioned from a broken spear.
"Who's that?" I asked. Aqua didn’t respond, other than to drop her mace and rush to the armored figure. A few steps in and time seemed to slow before stopping entirely.
“Don’t let her get too close!” A distorted female voice warned. From Aqua's shadow’s, chain spring tieing her up stopping her from moving forward, this is my first time using it but it was a success.
"Don't rush in!" I told her.
“But Jaxon!” She protested.
“He isn’t himself,” the voice said. “Isu mind control from an artifact that holds me in it. I’m doing my best to keep him from outright killing, but Nightmare Moon will notice sooner or later and overpower my temporary failsafe.”
"Hey Aqua, you know what Isu is?" I asked confused.
“Its a term for a Precursor race in the Assassin’s Creed series,” she said. “What brings that up?”
"Let’s just say my technomancy finally became useful," I told her.
“Technomancy,” She said, as if taste testing the word in her mouth. “Makes sense. Isu Artifacts are just really just advanced technology. Question is, where is the artifact that is doing the controlling?”
As if in answer to her question, a dark miasma floated into view before parting, revealing Nightmare Moon, standing up like an anthro and holding a glowing, golden orb in her hoof.
"Is that it?" I asked.
“More than likely,” Aqua answered. “See about taking care of freeing Jaxon and giving Nightmare a good bruising while I focus on helping heal the others?” Her question sounded half that and half command.
"Ok let's see how well this power is for combat," I said putting two claws in my mouth before whistling. Form my shadow sprung four shadowy copies of myself, they have most of my powers, and abilities, like I believe I mentioned before, I got this form the shadow sprite Eva summoned.
"Attack," I commanded, two of the copies charge towards Jaxon the other two towards Nightmare. Four was my maximum amount of copies I could have at any one time, which was fine.
"I've already dealt with one Nightmare let's add another to that list," I said charging towards Nightmare since she was the bigger threat. Just as I was a few meters from hitting her, Jaxon jumped in front of me, crossing his sword and dagger in front of himself. As soon as one of my horns made contact, he slid them up, knocking my head back and disrupting my charge and staggering me.
Taking a quick look around, I saw that the two shadows I sent to fight Jaxon were gone, most likely cut down. The other two were gone, and in their place were golden holograms taking their shape and standing alongside Jaxon.
“The Artifact hijacked your shadows sent at Nightmare Moon,” the voice said. “Take care of them and free Jaxon. I’ll try to minimize any injuries you might receive from them all.”
"This just got more complicated, well she can't take these," I said creating 20 living puppets, before creating their armor and weapons with my dark mist. These puppets are connected to me mentally like a hive mind, so they likely share my mental defense.
"Charge," I said all of us charged towards the trip 18 of them would take the shadows the remaining 2 would remain with me while I fight Jaxon.
The two of them charge first one holding a spear the other a sword both held shields in their free hand, the spearmen thrust his spear, while the swordsman prepared for a slash. Jaxon quickly redirected the spear into the swordman’s throat and pulled the blade from him and threw it into the eyeslit of the spearman’s helmet. Once he lowered his guard the swordman punched him in the face. The punch didn’t seem to affect him much, and he used his broken spear to grab the spearman’s shield and wrench it out of his grip. He then proceeded to bash the swordman’s head in with said shield before throwing it at the spearman, taking off one of its legs in the throw.
'Looks like I've got to fight with the intent to kill to do any damage?' I thought, shooting a bolt of lightning from my mouth. The bolt knocked his sword out his hand and sent him into a twitching fit.
"That should take him out of the fight," I said then started to charge up a day bringer flame to shoot at Nightmare.
"Look out!" The voice warned a bit too late, as Jaxon rushed me, and with a sweep of his broken spear, he knocked me off my feet and into the air. I flipped once before landing on my belly and felt something sharp impact my back. While there was no cut or puncture, I heard something break or shift in my back with intense pain and my wings went numb. I released my day bringer flame blowing the entire roof off the tower with a massive explosion, the shockwave of which sent Jaxon flying into a pillar.
"Buck!" I shouted, taking a look at my wings. I looked at Nightmare to see she was blinded by the explosion and had dropped the Artifact to try to clear her vision.
'Perfect.' I thought charging towards Nightmare tackling her with such force she was sent flying into a wall. I grabbed the orb, and while I have never used it before I knew what to do, as my horns charged up with purple electricity before it struck the orb hacking it, and freeing Jaxon.
After a few seconds, Jaxon stood up and approached the Nightmare with his broken spear and his sword he recovered. She stood up as well, but was met with a flurry of slashes from Jaxon. He then stuck the spear into her skull, just below the horn. His sword then somehow lengthened and he impaled her and pinned her to the floor. Lifting his hands, he coincidentally caught a large chunk of rubble from the ceiling and he slammed it onto the sword's pommel, wedging it deeper. He then grabbed both weapons and pulled them out so violently that Nightmare was flung into another wall, causing it to collapse on her, leaving her head unburied and somehow lacking a bloody hole in it.
"Hey catch," I said throwing him the orb. Jaxon caught the orb and raised it high, causing a few Golden beams to shoot at several crystalline shards. Said shards took varying colors before gathering in front of the Mane Six and Aqua, while an orb of fire, ice, and electricity jumped to and was absorbed by Jaxon, Shining, and Spike respectively.
Jaxon stashed the orb into a hidden satchel and began shooting a stream of fire at Nightmare Moon, with Shining and Spike following suit with their elements. Nightmare raised a shield to block the destruction magic, unaware of the seven females charging up their Elements.
I popped my neck before gathering lighting in my mouth, just before firing a large stream of lighting at Nightmares shield. The added power shattered the shield just as the Elements fired. When the rainbow hit Nightmare Moon, the room went bright, briefly blinding me before my vision cleared, revealing the whole group unconscious on the ground and a glowing, golden hologram of a woman in a combination of an Ancient Greek dress and armor plates standing in front of me.
"Greetings, Avatar of Darkness," the woman greeted. "I am Alethia, proclaimed by your ancient ancestors as the Goddess of Truth. Speak, and I will answer to the best of my knowledge and allowance."
"I can't think of anything I want to ask," I told her I didn't have any questions.
"Then don't, and accept my thanks for freeing me and the Artifact from the Nightmare's control," she said, giving me a brief bow. "However, I can sense some mild curiosity concerning some of the words Aqua spoke while you were traveling up some stairs earlier."
"Yes, I was curious how she could be a dragon how she could be a dragon before she was displaced," I told her.
“The Multiverse applies to many worlds, not just Equestria,” Alethia said. “She and her husband comes from a version of Earth where magical creatures exist and joined human society shortly into the 15th century and have thrived since then.”
"Oh ok I guess there are multiple Earths just like there are multiple Equestrias, well now that everything is fine am I needed here anymore?" I asked.
“To an extent,” Alethia answered. “They will need your help in making their token, first off, and they have to be the ones to send you back.”
"I don't see why they need my help, all they need is to grab something that is theirs or is unique, give it a message explaining who they are, then throw it into the void,” I explained
“The fact still stands that they need to send you home,” she said. “Also, I am taking a ‘hands-off’ approach to guiding them through the future, so you telling them will best preserve the secret of my existence.”
"Well I can't take too long, I don't want the ponies in my Equestria to worry," I told her.
“Then with what little time you have, take your time.” The hologram faded and the group began to stir.
“Malaka,” Jaxon swore as he pushed himself into a sitting position. “My head feels like it was shoved in a blender then reassembled with a 3D printer.”
“And now I know what a hangover feels like,” Aqua said, taking a few deep breaths while cradling her head. “Thank my ancestors that I can handle alcohol without the nasty side effects.”
"Well now that the danger has passed its time to make your token, or tokens?" I said walking towards her.
“Unless you want a spear down your gullet-” Jaxon began, but was slapped in the back of the head by Aqua.
“Calm down,” she scolded. “As painful as your headache may be, you shouldn’t take it out on others.” She then pulled the rubble slab that Jaxon used against Nightmare Moon. “You see about doing some Assassin’s Creed crud, while I etch some of my kind’s ancient language on it.”
"So you already know what to do?" I asked.
“I overheard you talking with someone,” Aqua said. “Didn’t catch everything, but what you said about a token and the void stood out.”
“All I could hear was my headache pounding my brain into mush,” Jaxon said, as he placed his broken spear on the slab while holding the Artifact over it. The artifact glowed and an indent in the rough outline of said spear was made into the slab.
Aqua then took the slab and used one of her claws to etch what looked to be some form of chicken scratch, but it seemed to emanate some sort of primal power with each scratch into the stone. The power briefly intensified when she breathed some mist over it, before the power seemed to go dormant. She then turned to me with a look of curiosity on her face. “How do we ‘throw it into the void’, as you put it?” She asked.
"I don't know, my merchant was kind enough to explain everything, and take my token once I made it, so just throw it I guess." I shrugged
Jaxon stood up and took one side of the slab, with Aqua on the other side, and he tossed the slab towards the floor, only for it to get intercepted by a dark purple portal. After a few seconds of activity, the slab shot back out, hitting Jaxon in his helmeted head, knocking him back out. Aqua looked down at her prone husband with a sheepish smile. “Oops.”
"Well, maybe you should get him checked, once you get back to Ponyville," I suggested.
“Sounds fair,” She said, gently picking up the armored human. “So, how will you get back to your Equestria or whatever you call home?”
"I don't know, maybe hold up my token again?" I said with no idea how to return home. Aqua pulled out the dark orb and held it up. It briefly glowed a few seconds and another dark portal opened for me.
“I hope we meet again,” she said as I walked through the portal. “Hopefully on better terms.”
"Maybe but for now take care," I told her before walking through the portal, which led back to my bedroom.

kinda had a bit of a full plate the past week. anyway, here's the crossover chapter that I did with harlock5399 and his story, Reborn as a dragon .
Enjoy
Shortly after Spyro departed back to his world, Aqua wasted no time in grabbing her husband, their token, and what was left of his armor and began running back to Ponyville. On her way back, she did a quick detour to get more water into her system so she could knock a large trail through the forest with her size and strength. After arriving back in town (and briefly refilling the fountain), she rushed to the hospital and got him going into the system before passing out herself from exhaustion and lack of sleep.
As she slept, the Isu Artifact containing Alethia kept a passive lookout over her and her husband. Roughly two hours after Aqua fell asleep, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna entered the hospital, taking a seat next to the sleeping Kappa Dragon shortly after entering. Celestia gave Luna a mischievous smile and placed a hoof over her mouth in a ‘shush’ motion.
Her magic activated and a canister with a horn shape appeared with a quiet ‘pop’. In response to Celestia’s actions, Luna rolled her eyes, magically formed a barrier around the group, and then plugged her ears with her hooves. Celestia then pressed her hoof on the canister’s top, causing it to blare out loudly, waking Aqua and sending her headfirst into the barrier.
Celestia laughed hysterically at the reaction as Aqua recovered from the prank. When they both were done, Aqua took the opportunity to speak. “Greetings your majesties,” She said with a Japanese-style bow. “What brings you here? Hopefully not for hospitalization.”
Celestia and Luna gave a nod in response to her bow and then responded. “We are here to speak to both you and your husband over what I’ve heard concerning yours and his help in freeing my sister from her mental state of mind,” Celestia answered. “Despite the overly violent approach before using the Elements, you have our gratitude.”
“We’re also considering making you both Nobles,” Luna said, receiving a surprised look from Celestia.
“We are?” She asked.
“You weren’t considering it?” Luna asked back.
Celestia shook her head, both answering her sister and conveying her annoyance. “It’s not that simple, at least nowadays,” she explained. She was about to continue, but Aqua interrupted.
"It's the other Nobles, isn't it? Putting us as nobles would add another parasite, or more complaints for you to deal with."
Celestia briefly stared at Aqua in confused awe. “How did you know?”
Aqua smiled sheepishly. “I really didn’t, I just guessed,” she answered.
Luna gave Celestia a bit of a suspicious look. “Tia, didst thou allow the Nobles of Old to place any laws into their favor?” Celestia gave Luna a forced smile that pretty much answered the question. Luna sighed and continued, “Then, effective immediately, I shall go through the various Nobles with a fine-toothed comb. Those who haven’t earned their title shall be removed from their stations.”
“And laws have changed in the past thousand years, like removing nobles from their positions or undoing their laws being illegal,” Celestia informed Luna.
“And you forget that you are a Princess , Sister,” Luna shot back. “You seem so bent on pleasing others, that you neglect your happiness...not the ‘joy of seeing others happy’ type of happiness.”
Aqua giggled at the sisterly banter, gaining the alicorns’ attentions. She was about to explain her laughing when a door began to open behind her. All three looked at the opening door and saw one of the doctors and Jaxon exiting it.
Jaxon looked like he had been put through the wringer, but the look was mostly of a few large bruises since he is able to apply some healing magic to himself. His clothing looked pretty beat up as well, with a few holes and scorched bits of fabric all over them. He signed something the doctor gave him and then approached the group.
“Well, it’s nice to finally be out of that stuffy room,” He said, which snapped his wife out of her silence and she quickly grabbed him in a hug. “And now this stuffy room is much better.”
“It is nice to see you are alive,” Luna said, a grateful look on her face.
“The same can be said about you,” he answered. “To be honest, I think I went a little overboard when I came to after my brainwashing and took my resultant anger out on Nightmare.”
“It’s okay,” Luna said before Celestia could say anything. “Anyway, we are here to reward you for helping us.”
“I was originally planning on giving both of you citizenship, but Luna seems to want you both as Nobles,” Celestia said.
“And she also wants to clear out any corrupt ones,” Aqua added.
“Then, the titles can wait,” Jaxon said. “Allow Luna to clear out the corruption, and then Nobility promotion can be handled.”
Luna and Celestia gave each other a brief look before nodding in agreement and turned back to the couple. “That is an agreeable idea. We will return to Canterlot and see about getting your citizenship started and expedited. If you have any information we’ll need before we go, we’d appreciate it.”
Jaxon pulled his wallet out and retrieved his old ID. Aqua did the same with hers. They gave them to the Royal Sisters, who then handed them a scroll. “What is this?” Jaxon asked.
“It’s a Royal Voucher,” Celestia explained. “That particular one is for property, whether it be a house or just the land.”
“Do you have a voucher for armor?” Aqua asked.
"Yes, but they're usually only for military recruits," Celestia answered. "Why would you need armor?"
"My wife is thinking mostly about me in her question," Jaxon pointed out. "It's because I'm a mercenary, a sell-sword."
"Then, unfortunately, I can't provide what you're asking for," Celestia answered. "As prosperous as Equestria seems, iron and other metals aren't very common, which makes military armor and various civilian applications more important than a set of armor for a mercenary, regardless of his heroic actions."
"Don't you have leather armor?" Aqua asked, pointing at her own to demonstrate.
"We do, but most ponies frown upon its usage," Celestia explained. "Hardly any armorer uses leather."
"What about compacted linens?" Jaxon asked, oddly catching the royals off guard. With a sigh, he explained the minor ins and outs of the Ancient Greek Linothorax. Celestia smiled in appreciation of the new information and left with Luna behind her. With Jaxon and Aqua alone, they shared a kiss and left the hospital to find the mayor.

Chapter 6: Of Keys and Blades (Part 1)
Roughly a month had passed since Aqua and Jaxon moved into Ponyville. Upon purchase of a decently sized maisonette house, Pinkie threw them a housewarming party which not only introduced them to the general neighborhood but also provided them with the means to furnish their house and start-up jobs for themselves.
Aqua decided to make use of the storefront that came with their house to open an alchemy shop. With the help of Filthy Rich, she was able to obtain the starting supplies and the contacts to help her keep her stock well stocked. Twilight even took the time out of her daily studies to teach her how to do alchemy, which she learned rather quickly.
Jaxon, on the other hand, took up bounty hunting, and mercenary work. Mayor Mare helped him by setting up a job/bounty board in front of their house and town hall. This allowed him, and other aspiring bounty hunters and mercenaries, to find work from either townsponies asking for help in various ways, or the Government needing help putting down or capturing criminals of one kind or another.
“Honey, I’m home!” Jaxon called out as he entered the storefront to his wife’s shop, the Kappa Kup. The few ponies that were in the main room respectfully moved aside for Aqua to move from her alchemy station to give Jaxon a hug and a kiss before moving to the register.
“Any new ingredients while on today’s contract?” She asked with a smile.
Jaxon pulled out a small plastic bag filled with a multicolored powder. “Ground Unicorn Horn,” he said, getting a few of the unicorn customers to go pale in fear and disgust. “Normally illegal to obtain fresh from the source, alchemy shops with contracts with morgues and funeral homes can obtain and sell it,” he added, which calmed the unicorn customers.
“Sounds like something I need to look into,” Aqua said while taking the bag and placing it at her ingredient prep table. “How did you obtain this stuff?”
“My contract took me into the ambush territory of a unicorn bandit that had a sizeable bounty on his head,” he answered. “After completing my contract, I turned the bounty in at the local guard station. The captain in charge then told me that with any unicorn bandits I take care of, I have free reign to harvest their horns for the ingredient.”
“Sounds like a solid deal for the shop,” Aqua said. “Now, could you see if the Ponyville General Hospital does the same kind of contracts while I write one up for negotiation with them?”
“Sure thing, Sweetie,” Jaxon said before giving his wife a peck on the cheek and leaving the store. He was halfway to the hospital when he heard a loud feminine voice echoing in the distance.
“DOVAHKIIN!!!”
A golden framed portal opened in front of Jaxon, and he sighed in brief annoyance. “Duty calls. I just hope Aqua forgives me for being late,” he said before stepping into the portal.
A few days had passed since Princess Luna or formerly known as Nightmare Moon had returned to normal and reunited with her adoptive son Rumi. In that time, she had taken up permanent residence in Ponyville in order to be close to her baby boy and his newly acquired girlfriend, much to the spiky-haired wielder’s embarrassment.
At first, Luna had a little trouble fitting in due to her status as the Princess of Night and due to people still being a little afraid that she might end up relapsing into Nightmare Moon once more. Though Rumi and Namine tried their best to assure the people that she wouldn’t end up as the Demon of the Night, it didn’t have the effect that the couple were looking for.
Another issue was Luna’s attempting to adapt to the current age of Equestria - things like magazines, games, movies and such were unfamiliar to her. It made sense since she was banished to the moon a thousand years ago. None of these things had existed and except maybe magazines, they hadn’t even been in the wildest dreams of ponies. Unfortunately the only balm for this problem would be time and exposure.
When not focusing on helping his mother adapt to the modern Equestria, Rumi was training in the use of summoning Kingdom Key. He didn’t learn any fighting styles yet since he was still a newcomer in the art of swordsmanship. Namine had started him off learning forms and katas, saying he needed to be able to walk before he ran. When posing a question on when he would start learning stuff, Namine just told him the following words:
“Patience, my King. Your time to learn the abilities will come… for now though, just keep up a positive attitude and keep practicing the basics until you’ve mastered it fully.”
Despite the disappointing answer, Rumi obeyed his love and continued to practice until the basics were mastered fully. It wasn’t easy at first though… largely due to the fact that his Keyblade seemed to resist his commands.
Ever since he had first summoned his Keyblade, he had needed to fight to summon it to his hand. No matter how many times he attempted to master it, it was a miserable failure… at least that’s what it was like at first. However as the days passed, summoning became easier until it was second nature. Yet the question of what this had happened in the first place still lingered in his mind.
One day after another summoning lesson had wrapped up, Namine gave her love a kiss on the cheek and smiled. “That was good, Rumi… you’ve managed to master the summoning fully. Well done.”
Rumi smiled back at his girlfriend and blushed due to the kiss. “I have a pretty good teacher and queen to help me.” He told her.
Those words earned him another kiss from Namine. “You are such a flatter… but thank you. I aim to please the king of my dreams. Now that you’ve fully mastered the techniques of summoning, we can move on to teaching you how to link your practice forms into a real fighting style and adding some basic magic into the mix,” She explained to him.
With a nod, Rumi summoned the Kingdom Key and stood to attention. “Ready to get started, my Queen!”
Namine giggled. Rumi was definitely the spitting image of Sora - albeit more mature, serious and horny… just what she was looking for in a man.
“Charmer~ Anyways, we’ll start off with basic attacks on a couple of training dummies - each and everyone single one will be very easy to beat, Rumi. For this first day of fighting, we’ll just be focusing on light and heavy hits… and maybe two started abilities: Dodge Roll and Guard. Unlike the normal actions of the same name anyone can do, a true Dodge Roll or Guard are infused with some magic to make them immensely more useful. Ready to get started?” Namine asked.
Rumi nodded as Namine focused her magic to conjure a pair of training dummies with wooden weapons. From the looks of things, they looked like daggers and spears. It should be a very easy training session with weapons like these.
“Alright, my King - give it all you’ve got and make me the happiest woman ever!” Namine declared before snapping her fingers and animating the wooden puppets to attack.
A wooden puppet charged forward with the wooden spear yet Rumi dodged out of the way and attacked it from behind. It immediately shattered into dust yet the fight wasn’t over as the second opponent launched itself in the air.
Unlucky for him, Rumi quickly dodged out of the way as the wooden puppet landed onto where the spiky-haired wielder was before he was eliminated and turned to dust.
Namine nodded. “Good work, my King. But don’t think for a second that this training session is at its end. Prepare for the next set of opponents.” She told him before conjuring another set of wooden dummies.
The dummies began their attack yet Rumi focused all of his strength and took them on one-by-one. All of them were armed with either a wooden sword or spear yet were very easy to eliminate just like the last group.
A few hits and dodges later, Rumi had eliminated the final puppet from the second group that had appeared. Namine was happy and awarded her boyfriend with a clapping. “You’re learning fast, my King. I’m impressed… and somewhat horny for you. Once we wrap up training, I hope you’ll find some time in your schedule for a little ‘fun’.”
Rumi immediately knew what type of ‘fun’ she meant and hugged her from behind. “For you, I’ll always find time, Nami.” He assured and kissed her lips.
Namine smirked and kissed back. “Oh, you’re so good to me.”
Rumi smiled gently and continued kissing her without a care in the world. After a few seconds, they broke off.
“Now that we’ve had our first fighting session, it’s only proper I award you with the first two abilities that you will use in your arsenal - Dodge Roll and Guard. Here you go.” Namine declared before snapping her fingers and conjuring two orbs with silhouetted pictures of Rumi who performed a roll and a block with Kingdom Key.
Rumi took the orbs and they went inside his body as it glowed an aura of sorts. He was now gifted with two of Sora’s abilities that should be useful in future battles.
“Good, Rumi. As we finish more training sessions, I’ll award you with more abilities that should be useful. Oh! That reminds me - I’ll start working on your armored bodysuit so you can use the darkness without fear of corruption.” Namine explained and Rumi nodded.
“Right… ready to head back?” Rumi asked.
Just as Namine was about to speak however a portal opened behind her as a stone tablet with a broken spear indent had fallen onto the ground. There was something written on it in a strange language:
‘ Fod hi paar aan sovrahzun uv aan fahdon, zaan “Dovahkiin” ahst him tinvaak. Gein uv ney do mu fen kos til naal faal Drem do Sil uv faal Rahgol do Yol.’
Rumi noticed the portal closing and immediately assumed that it was Namine’s doing. “Nami… did you use your magic to create a portal?” He wondered curiously.
Namine made a confused look. “No… why do… Huh?” She trailed off while turning around and seeing the stone tablet on the grass ground which caused her face to morph into a surprised one.
“Huh? Where did this…” Namine trailed off as she went to examine the stone tablet. She kneeled and checked it out from top to bottom along with the weird text inscribed on it. “Hmmm… interesting.” She commented.
Rumi kneeled next to her before posing a question. “What’s so interesting about it, love?”
“These words on the tablet… they… hmm, if my memory serves me right… it’s related to a world I visited during my role as ‘Second Chosen One’... Tamriel, I think it was called.” Namine explained.
“Like… The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?” Rumi asked with Namine nodding.
“Exactly… you’ve played the game?” Namine wondered.
Rumi nodded and explained. “Only a couple of parts… I love the soundtrack and the setting though I haven’t gotten much farther into the game. Mainly due to me focusing more on Oblivion and other sorts of fun games… how much do you know about Skyrim though?” He asked.
Namine placed a finger on her chin to think. “Hmmm… well, during my stay there, I was put under the tutelage of the Greybeards who taught me a lot about the world of Skyrim and its people. It was a time when the Empire and the Stormcloaks were at each other’s throats and a war was looming on the horizon. It was… quite an experience though I didn’t care about the politics. Master Arngeir was a wise mentor… though I explained my existence towards him, he didn’t care. Sadly, I couldn’t learn the dragon shouts no matter how hard I tried. Eventually, I left Skyrim and continued on my world tour.” She finished explaining.
Rumi nodded and his face morphed into an awed one. “Did you meet the leader of the rebellion or the Empire’s ruler though?” He wondered yet Namine shook her head.
“Sadly, no. But if I had to say, I’m very lucky I avoided having an interaction with either head of their respective factions. Remember when I told you that I didn’t care about the politics… I mean it, Rumi. The Empire and The Stormcloaks are both flawed in their goals even though there are noble people among them. Let them fight it out among one another but leave me out of it.” Namine stated - her tone made it clear she wasn’t picking sides or kidding around.
“Fair enough… so, what do we do with the stone tablet?” Rumi wondered.
Namine also wondered about that as well - what could they do with this stone tablet…? Hmmm… from her time in Skyrim, she was able to at least memorize a small part of the dragon language albeit minor.
“I could try reading this and see if it will make any sense.” Namine stopped for a moment to clear her throat before focusing on the tablet’s words:
“If my translation skills serve me correctly, all we have to do is shout 'Dragonborn' in our language... At least that's what I think it says. I’m not sure if I translated it correctly.” Namine said and immediately offered an apologetic look to Rumi.
“Don’t worry about it… So, what does it mean though exactly? The words on the stone… a message of sorts or a clue?” Rumi wondered.
Namine placed another finger on her chin to think… a message or a clue? Then she froze and her eyes widened… a message! Instructions of sorts on summoning some help! Huh, clever way to hide it.
“It’s instructions, Rumi. At first glance, it might seem like an ordinary ‘message’ yet it isn’t. In order to summon this ‘mercenary’ or ‘friend’, one of us has to shout ‘Dragonborn’ in their language. I think we both can do it… yet maybe I should handle this one.” Namine explained.
“If you think you can do it… are you sure though?” Rumi asked with a hint of hesitation in his words.
Namine nodded, got up and closed her eyes before focusing on the matter at hand. She took a deep breath before releasing the shout. “Dovahkiin!” As soon as the last syllable exited her mouth, the very foundations of the earth began shaking as the word exploded.
“Gah! What’s going on!?” Rumi wondered in a surprised tone.
“I think we did a bad thing, Rumi!” Namine stated in a scared tone.
Rumi held her tight to shield her. The shaking then stopped as suddenly as it started and a golden portal opened in front of the two. After a few seconds, a man dressed in Ancient Greek Armor exited the portal and removed his helmet, revealing an average looking young man with brown hair and eyes.
“Well… that’s new.” Rumi commented.
“So is being summoned,” the man commented back. “If anything, you need to get used to a lot of new and odd things happening. By the way, my name is Jaxon and I’ve been Displaced as a Greek themed Dragonborn. So, a Displaced Sora and a Displace Namine with a custom form?”
“Close… I’m the real Namine. Flesh and blood - no Displaced traits over here.” Namine stated to Jaxon.
“Before or after the third ‘official’ game?” He asked.
“After the third game… a thousand years later.” Namine explained.
“That long?” Jaxon wondered out loud. “Makes me think of how confusing it would be meeting someone with a similar or same name as those who you once knew.”
Namine shrugged. “Most of the people that I was close with had moved on or passed away… I did everything I could to relieve the pain in my heart… yet nothing. Lucky for me, I had found my one true love.” The blonde stated before smacking Rumi’s ass.
Rumi blushed heavily as Namine grinned in amusement.
“Malaka,” Jaxon swore to himself as he averted his gaze from the two. “As if dealing with my wife’s flirty mentality is bad enough, I’m summoned by an ageless individual with teenage hormones and a mentality that matches.”
Namine rolled her eyes at that statement. “Try living for a thousand years alone and then come find me… we’ll talk then about overactive libidos. Also, you have a wife?” She asked with a raised brow.
“She was Displaced with me,” Jaxon explained. “I had purchased a set of bracers while she bought hist sap. She started as an air dragon/kappa hybrid, but now you can add argonian to the hybrid portion as well. And to better explain, my wife’s flirty personality is more her teasing me by drinking lots of water and making herself look more developed on both the top and bottom. Heck, she maimed a griffin with said assets before drowning him with the water she drank.”
Namine whistled with a perverted grin on her face. “Sounds like my kind of woman… what’s her name though?” She wondered.
“Aqua,” he answered. “Now you know why I spoke about the ‘same name’ issue thing.” Jaxon turned his attention to Rumi. “You’ve been silent for most of the conversation. You go by Sora, or some other name?”
Rumi cleared his throat and began to speak. “Before I went as Sora, I was originally known as Rumen or Rumi as they called me… basically, my gal here was pretty alone and she was looking for the perfect man in her life… plus, she has been spying on me for a couple of years now. I guess we both found a sort of connection to one another.” He finished.
“Wait… Aqua?” Namine asked in a surprised tone.
“Her father named her,” Jaxon explained. “A Kappa father and an Air Dragon mother provide an interesting daughter who seemed to take to the water aspect of the Kappa species very quickly. The asset size changing is the Air Dragon aspect.”
Namine shook her head. “Wait, wait… is she a human or a real-life dragon?” She asked.
“Real-life dragon,” He answered. “Probably never thought of an alternate Earth where many magical species revealed themselves during the middle of the medieval period, and became buddy-buddy with humanity through to the present day.”
“Ah… I panicked for a bit there. For a second, I thought that it might be a displaced Aqua from Kingdom Hearts until I heard ‘dragon’.” Namine said.
“And this is where I unashamedly admit that I didn’t think of having her in an Aqua outfit for the convention,” Jaxon said, a light blush showing on his face.
“I bet that she would have looked good in any cosplay you would have bought for her.” Namine replied with a cracked grin on her face.
“With her abilities, I don’t doubt it,” he said.
Namine raised a confused brow. “But she’s a dragon… isn’t she like a powerful being?” She wondered.
“Different dragons have different abilities,” Jaxon said. He then suddenly pulled a bow off of his back and fired an arrow into the air. A frightened yelp was heard before a blue blur crashed into the ground just in front of him. “And stealth isn’t Rainbow’s best ability,” he added in a friendly teasing manner to the downed mare.
Rainbow was on the ground with her eyes rolling with stars and moons circling around her head. Rumi felt a little sympathetic towards her before looking at Jaxon. “Don’t you feel that was a bit too harsh, dude?” He asked.
“Getting dive bombed for being a perceived threat is not on my list of things to do today,” Jaxon said. “Not to mention that she had that unrestrained ‘look’ in her eyes. Unless I gave her a near lethal beatdown, she wouldn’t have listened to reason.”
Rainbow shook her head before she got up and glared at Jaxon. “Get away from them!” She warned before flapping her wings and launching herself towards them. Jaxon didn’t move until she was almost ready to hit him. He crossed his arms and parried the flight boosted punch and then pulled a broken spear from his back and pointed it at her throat.
“You’d do well to not jump to conclusions,” Jaxon said while glaring back at her. “Why are you intent on attacking me?”
“Cause of the shout I overheard while resting! I overheard it and flew quickly so I could see what was the cause! And I saw you appearing! So, who are you exactly?” Rainbow demanded.
“I am Jaxon, Dragonborn and Mercenary,” he stated as calmly as he could, his right eye twitching in barely restrained anger. “And I make it a policy to not be a threat unless made into one by hasty conclusions. I’ve taken out many bounties because they thought of me as an easy mark. Just as how you assumed me to be up to no good for just appearing from the aether.”
Rainbow calmed down a bit but still kept her guard up. “How do I know that we can trust you?” She asked.
“Trust me to do what?” Jaxon asked, a slight smirk showing on his face.
The Element of Loyalty was stunned - she didn’t know what to say or think at this current moment. “Um… I… Um…” She was at a loss for words.
“Exactly,” Jaxon said, cutting her off. “If it’s blind trust you’re thinking about, you can’t expect that out of anyone. However, if you want me to not cause trouble, you can trust me to not cause trouble, at least intentionally.”
“In hindsight, Dash… maybe you should listen to Jaxon. I don’t think he's in any sort of trouble with a capital ‘T’.” Namine joked albeit still keeping a serious look.
“I’m only trouble if you make me trouble,” Jaxon agreed with the former Nobody.
Rainbow grumbled and backed off. “Okay, okay. I get your point…” She said albeit begrudgingly.
Jaxon replaced the broken spear to his back, and smiled. “Now, is there anyone else coming to investigate this shout you mentioned?” He asked the group.
“Not really. It’s just me.” Rainbow stated.
“Then what is that dark speck in the sky flying just outside of my bow’s range?” He asked, pointing into the air.
Dark speck in the sky…? Rumi, Namine and Rainbow looked up and saw none other than Luna landing gently on the ground before she rushed forward to check on her son. “Are you okay, honey?” She asked with motherly concern.
“I’m fine, Mom… just a little misunderstanding with Jaxon here.” Rumi explained while pointing at Jaxon who just waved at Luna.
“Greetings, Princess of the Night,” Jaxon said. He then turned towards Rumi. “And Mom? Can I have some context for what you just said?”
Luna nodded albeit confused at what was happening. “Before we clear any misunderstandings… who are you exactly?” She asked.
“I’m Jaxon, as your son(?) told you,” he bluntly said. “I’m a Dragonborn and a mercenary, currently not busy and not seeking to start trouble with anyone.”
“A… Dragonborn?” Luna raised a brow.
“A mortal born with the soul of a dragon...though, in my case, my soul was fused with a dragon soul when I was sent to the Equestria I live in,” Jaxon answered.
Luna was surprised. “Another Equestria?” She asked.
“Multiverse theory,” he began to explain. “Just imagine the ‘what if’ of Celestia getting corrupted instead of you and, in one way or several, that event happened in a different Equestria. Heck, I can point out one difference between this Equestria and the one I live in.”
Luna nodded before Namine posed a question. “What’s the difference exactly?”
“Well, aside from the obvious,” he said, pointing between himself and the two humans. “The way our world handled Nightmare Moon was a bit more...violent for her, and harrowing for me.” He reached into a satchel he had on him, pulling out a golden orb that seemed to have a power to it that made Namine shiver in barely restrained fear. “Mind control and having to get beaten up by a black dragon...not Alduin, thankfully.”
“Oh, my god… an Apple of Eden.” Namine stated while shivering in visible fear. It was clear that she was getting a bad case of memories.
“So you recognize it?” He said, putting it away. “Yes, Nightmare Moon temporarily brainwashed me into following her orders. Being in the trunk of your mind while something else is in the driver’s seat is...unsettling to say the least.” He rolled his shoulders before continuing. “I should also point out that after I was freed from the mind control, I gave her a beatdown worthy of Mortal Kombat, just before the Elements were used to bring Luna back and heal her...but not me, unfortunately.”
“Yeah… unfortunately. Damn blasted artifact…” Namine admitted while shaking her head much to Luna and Rumi’s surprise.
“You know about this Apple of Eden artifact?” Luna asked.
Namine nodded and began to explain the situation more clearly. “I do… while visiting Rome during the Renaissance period, I was put under its spell and forced to do the dirty work of the Borgia. Naturally, I was quite brutal and cold while under its influence. Luckily, Ezio Auditore had managed to bring me to my senses… to gain back some retribution and help the people of Italy, I joined the Assassins temporarily. Once Cesare Borgia was defeated, Ezio and I parted ways before I continued on my world tour.” She finished.
“Well, at least you got some justice,” Jaxon said. “If I’m thinking correctly, you managed to get the worst of that world in it’s most civilized state. Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece would have been more brutal if properly combined with that Apple’s influence.”
Namine nodded. “Give how powerful the artifact is… I don’t even want to guess what the outcome would be if the Templars had gained the artifact in ancient times. Did you visit any other time periods though?” She asked.
“I didn’t use an Animus,” Jaxon said. “Assassin’s Creed: Origins, and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Good games, but almost too RPG.”
“Ah. I see.” Namine replied - albeit a bit disappointed at the answer. She was definitely hoping that Jaxon would at least share more info on the Assassin’s Creed universe… yet nothing.
“I should point out that when an Apple of Eden or other types of Isu Artifacts is in the right hands at the right times, many good things can happen,” Jaxon said. He then suddenly notched another arrow onto his bow and fired it in Luna’s general direction.
Luna quickly dodged out of the way as Rumi, Namine and Rainbow gasped in shock. “Why did you launch an arrow at me!?” The Princess of the Night demanded while glaring at Jaxon.
Jaxon didn’t respond, but he simply pointed in the direction he launched the arrow. Luna turned around and saw a small ant-like creature whose skin was black and his eyes completely yellow. Small antennas were twitching on its head along with its body. The arrow pierced its body and soon it was completely destroyed.
“Something wicked, this way comes,” Jaxon said before drawing a short bronze sword and pulling the broken spear off of his back. Just as he finished getting his weapons ready, more small ant-like creatures had begun to spawn.
Namine’s eyes widened while Rumi gasped. “The Heartless!?” He yelled and summoned Kingdom Key.
“What are these things!?” Rainbow questioned.
“Dark Being of the Heart,” Jaxon answered. “Heartless. Shadows, but be on your guard. Where there is one, potentially uncountable numbers can follow; and they come in all shapes, sizes, strengths, and weaknesses.”
“Couldn’t have said it better myself!” Namine agreed as the Shadows rushed towards the group and prepared to attack.
Before the Shadows could get too close, Jaxon yelled out and a red, flame-like aura lit up around him. He then charged into the horde and began slicing up the Heartless. Any scratches they managed to inflict on the warrior was ignored as he fought.
Luna and Namine blasted a couple of them using their magic, Rumi fought them off with Kingdom Key while Rainbow used her speed to kick them away.
After whittling down their numbers, Jaxon pulled out the Apple of Eden, scraped his broken spear across it, and then flung the spear at one of the Shadows. Said Shadow was impaled and pinned to the ground, but several golden strands wrapped itself around it, seemingly keeping it alive. Jaxon quickly moved to the debilitated Shadow and held the Apple above it.
Namine had blasted another Heartless with her magic before noticing Jaxon raising the Apple. “Wait! What are you doing!?” She asked in a worried tone.
“There’s more than one way to use an Apple of Eden,” he calmly responded. “In this case, I’m using it to analyze the Darkness in this Heartless to track it’s summoner. Keep me safe while I’m doing so.”
“Isn’t it a bit dangerous to use though?” Rumi wondered while he sliced another Heartless with Kingdom Key.
“Worry not. I’ve turned his broken spear into a pseudo-Isu Artifact and placed a backup of myself into it.” A disembodied voice sounded into Namine’s and Rumi’s ears. “If corruption can come from what he’s doing, the Apple will absorb the Darkness and then self-destruct. Protect him, or my actions will be in vain.”
Rumi and Namine froze before they stared at one another. “THE APPLE SPEAKS!?” They both yelled in a shocked tone.
“What’s with the yelling?” Jaxon asked as he paused his Apple usage to dodge a Shadow’s claws. “And are you gonna help or what?”
Rumi and Namine were so disoriented by the fact that the Apple spoke that they didn’t even hear Jaxon’s orders at first until they snapped to attention and went to defend him from the Shadows that were preparing to attack him.
However, the Heartless quickly suspected that something was amiss and slid in the ground much to everyone’s surprise.
“Huh!? Where’d they go!?” Rainbow wondered with a lost expression. Did they win the battle?
Suddenly a garbling sound was heard and Jaxon was knocked away from the downed Heartless and into Namine. The air then distorted before a Stealth Sneak ‘appeared’ where Jaxon was standing.
“Malakas Lizard!” Jaxon yelled in rage as he climbed back to his feet and pulled an intact spear off of his back. “I’ll skewer you and roast you in butter and salt!” His red aura returned and he began to engage the Heartless.
Namine slowly shook her head as Rumi rushed forward to check up on her. “You alright, Nami?” He asked - worry evident in his tone.
Namine nodded only to spot something sitting next to her… something that made her shiver. “The Apple of Eden…” She whispered softly.
Now came the question that was on her mind - what to do with it? Give it back to Jaxon… or use it?

Crossover with Ocelot the Devil and his story, Displaced Wielder .
The world is an interesting place with many Magical Creatures widespread across the world. Various shows were filmed using almost exclusive casts of Magical Creatures. Many buildings and objects were given drastic changes to insurance policies due to various accidents that are common for the various species. For one of the first few humans to marry a Magical Creature, the biggest thing that made his life interesting was making his van rock and creak in protest.
“Oh Honey!” The vehicle rocked hard for a few seconds with those flirtatiously toned words. “I’m stuck again!”
Jaxon, an average human male turned around in the driver’s seat to see a big, moss green booty and tail stuck in the vehicle’s side door. Without a word, he turned frontward and started laughing quietly to himself.
“It’s frustrating how many times you get stuck like that in doorways and such, Aqua,” Jaxon said to his wife as he laughed. “But despite that, it’s funny every time. You are such a ditz!”
The van rocked again as Aqua spoke, “But I’m your ditz.” Jaxon laughed again before turning back around and slapping his hand hard on her giant butt. After an ‘eep’ and nearly tipped van, she continued, “Very forward today, aren’t you?”
Jaxon exited the vehicle and moved to where Aqua was stuck. “Let’s flirt when we get inside the convention,” He said while pulling her head down to kiss. “Besides, you know you can get unstuck anytime. I’m just not helping to tease you.” He then kissed her, causing her booty to briefly swell while her bust and a few of her other body parts shrunk a little.
“You can be so boring at times, that the moments you tease me back is always a surprise,” Aqua said after they broke the kiss. “So, are you gonna push me out or…”
“Motivation,” the human said as he turned his back to her and slowly started walking towards the convention center. “I’ve heard rumors that they’re gonna release some gameplay of Elder Scrolls 6...something I don’t think you want to miss.” Some water sloshing and a van door closing was heard before he was lifted up and placed on his wife’s shoulders.
“Why didn’t you say so in the first place?!” She exclaimed and ran to the convention center, almost crushing a few cars with her literal water weight on the way.
After arriving inside, and allowing Aqua a quick “bathroom break”, the happy couple took time to look over themselves and check their costumes.
Aqua is one of many Hybrid creature species, specifically Kappa and Air Dragon combination. Most of her body is moss green scales with peach fuzz fur of the same color. The spines of a typical Air Dragon were replaced with longer hair that was a loquat yellow, with tufts of hair and her belly and partial chest region following the same color.
As for her costume, she wore leather armor as seen in Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, minus the helmet. She had a Dawnguard crossbow prop strapped to her back and an iron mace was strapped to her belt. Due to her nature as a Kappa Dragon, Jaxon came up with the name, she wore her normal, day-to-day clothes under her leather armor, just in case her leather armor broke.
Jaxon, a regular human, was dressed up in Greek style armor. His chest was covered by a bronze decorated linothorax, his waist had bronze plated tassets, his legs had simple bronze greaves, and a stereotypical, bronze Korinthian helmet (without a plume) covered his head. He lastly had a bow and a bronze tipped spear strapped to his back and a bronze short sword strapped to his side.
After their check, Aqua looked to Jaxon and gave him a beautiful smile. “So, is my Handsome Mercenary Dragonborn ready to start exploring?” She asked, extending her hand toward him.
With an equally handsome smile back, Jaxon replied, “So long as my Lusty Argonian Maiden is ready, I am.” He took her hand and they entered the crowd.
As the couple explored the convention, they found (and bought) a lot of random merchandise. While Aqua would have bought many of the large, expensive, and/or elaborate items, Jaxon kept her love of all things fiction under control and made sure the items they bought were of a manageable size, and reasonable expense. Details weren’t much to complain about, truthfully.
Roughly two hours of browsing vendor tables, taking pictures with various other people at the convention, and watching a few gameplay presentations, the couple was almost ready to head back home. Just before they could get past the back of the seating arranged for the gameplay presentations, Aqua took another look around and saw a vendor table that she didn’t recognize or even remember seeing. With a light nudge with her booty to her husband, she pointed out the table and gave an adorable pout.
“Can we at least take a look there before we leave?” She asked. Jaxon leaned in and gave her a quick kiss before letting her lead him to the table. Upon arriving, the couple was astounded by the many items the had and how much detail was in each item.
“Well, I set up my stall, then take care of a nasty bathroom issue, and I come back to you two,” a voice said behind them, getting Aqua to ‘eep’ in brief fright. They both turned around and saw a person in an ‘Organization XIII’ Cloak walking toward them.
“That isn’t a problem, is it?” She asked as she watched the vendor pass them and take a seat.
“Just so long as I have no missing inventory, you’re fine,” the vendor said, picking up a clipboard and began looking over his table and underneath it. “Before I get too absorbed in my inventory, anything catch your eyes?”
Jaxon stepped closer and looked over the merchandise with a critical eye, his vision passing over a set of well-crafted bronze bracers a few times. He glanced in his wife’s direction as she picked up a green bottle filled with a viscous liquid.
“Your fuzzy dragon friend seems to have an eye for high quality,” the vendor said, getting her attention. “What you have is a Bottle of Hist Sap.”
“You mean, like the Elder Scrolls games?” She asked, excitement showing in her voice. “The Sap of Hist Trees that are a central part of Argonian Culture?”
“Exactly,” the vendor replied. The person switched his attention towards Jaxon as he was picking up and examining the bronze bracers. “And you do too. Bracers forged by the best smiths of Sparta.”
Jaxon snorted lightly in amusement. “I like your commitment to roleplay,” he said in a relatively quiet voice. “How much for these and the bottle?”
The vendor nodded his head under his hood, and spoke, “Normally, such items would be thousands of dollars, but today has been a good day for me, I’m feeling generous, and your dragon friend’s bubbly personality put me in a better mood than I thought possible. The new price is about $50.”
“That’s a definite deal!” Aqua exclaimed as she pulled her purse out from behind her armor and pulled out a fifty, handed it to the vendor, and picked up her husband before he could consider refusing. A quick jog to the van, and they loaded their haul into the back of the vehicle, except for the bracers and the sap.
“Thanks for that, I would have refused had he not listed the reduced price and if you hadn’t jumped in as you did,” Jaxon said as he undid the bracer’s fastenings. “And I think I should try these on. It would seem a waste if I didn’t use them before starting back.”
“And I’m thirsty,” Aqua responded as she uncorked the Hist Sap bottle.
Jaxon chuckled as he fastened one of the bracers on. “If I heard someone else say that and uncorked that, I would call them crazy and have 911 on standby,” he said, grabbing the other bracer. He paused as she drank the bottle’s contents. “You, I’ll just make sure to pick up a few bottles of Antacids on the way home.”
Aqua nodded as she finished drinking the sap. “That was actually good. Thick like syrup, and has a sweet and banana bread-like flavor to it,” she complimented as she turned to her husband...just in time to see him collapse onto the pavement. Upon impact, her carefree attitude was dropped like the bottle the sap came in, and she was immediately lifting him off the pavement and pulling out her cellphone to call an ambulance. Just as she was about to click the ‘call’ button, she was suddenly hit with a wave of fatigue, causing her to drop her phone and fall backward...missing the pavement and landing in a new world with her husband firmly, but gently in her arms.
