In a different Equestria, Nightmare Moon won out over her sister and took her place on the throne. Life has adapted to this new, darker world in the time since then, ponies growing accustomed to their new ruler. One such pony, Rarity, formerly a mere seamstress, found herself taking on the role of head maid for the new royal palace, a job which she takes with the utmost of seriousness.

But Nightmare Moon has rather different demands for such a position than most would assume.
