Celestia Entry: 2
Previous ChapterIt seems Robin has been well received in Ponyville.
Twilight writes that he did well at the Apple farm and that he is getting along with other ponies.
That's good news of course, I was afraid he would be resentful towards my little ponies after that first encounter, but it seems Robin is not the type to hold a grudge. I don't think it's because of his transformation into a pony, his mind and spirit is still very much human.
As far as I've been able to gather it was the elements that transformed him, his body absorbed the magic instead, turning him into one of us. He has no cutie mark yet, which surprised me. But I do have a theory about that as well, and my concerns are shared with my magical researchers.
I won't divulge such details here, despite my journal being locked up very securely in my chambers I do not wish to take any chances. This information has been deemed Top Secret for now and I will have the agency keep a close eye on Robin.
Luna in the meantime has tried to watch his dreams, but she tells me humans do not dream as clearly as ponies do, even now when he himself has turned into one. She told me it was a mess of random thoughts, shapeless figures that only for brief moments played out a scene before moving on to the next one.
Only when she directly touches his dreams do they become focused, though Luna has refused to tell me any details about what happened when she did so. She got all red and simply refused to share any details. I wonder what could have happened? Did she stumble upon an embarrassing memory of his?
I will simply have to trust her judgement and not pry into it any further.
Twilight has been so kind to keep me in the loop, so along with her friendship reports she will send me reports about Robin and how he's doing. The agency will of course send me more detailed reports, and while the facts are important it is good to get another perspective. A personal on.
I do consider going down there myself, disguised of course, to better get an idea how he is doing and how he acts around my little ponies. As I said, he gets along with them, and according to Twilight he was well received and now well liked.
I can't help but wonder if that would have happened if he was still looking as a human? I'd like to believe that my ponies are better than judging a book by it's cover, but we all make mistakes. So I hope they would accept him as a human as they are now accepting him as a pony.
For now however he is accepted, and I'm happy about that. I am still looking into what exactly brought him here, I have guards searching the forest he came out of and we are retracing his steps. So far no results, but if we can detect some sort of magical energy left over from whatever got him here, there may be a chance for him to go home.
Until I know more I will not share this with Robin. I do not wish to fill him with hopes or doubts before I have something more concrete to share with him.
Until then, I'm sure he will find plenty to keep him busy in Ponyville.
Her Royal Highness.
Princess Celestia.
