Day 9
Previous ChapterNext ChapterDay 9.
Today went better than all the other days combined. I actually slept well and had a nice breakfast!
It all started when a little pony maid trotted into my room, she was nervous as hell, but that only made her more adorable. She asked me if I had a good night and I told her I did, smiling at her. My smile must have caught her off guard a bit, but it did seem to relax her a bit.
She brought me some breakfast consisting of toast with butter, cheese, and some fruit. No bacon, but I don't suppose horses eat meat, do they?
Anyway, after breakfast I was told I could take a bath. Never thought I would be so happy to hear that in my life, maybe we do take some things for granted. The tub was surprisingly big, bigger than what I would have thought ponies would need.
Not that I complained mind you.
The water felt so good, it was an amazing feeling to wash all the dirt and grime off, my hair once again becoming soft and smooth. As I laid there and enjoyed the sensation, I started to wonder how the ponies could make something like this. They were clearly intelligent enough to come up with pipes, hot water, food, and beds. But how did they build it with no hands?
Oh well, I'm just going to say magic whenever something doesn't make sense.
In any case I best move on, I'm sure you are getting tired of me talking about how I bathed and hot steaming pipes, heyoo!
So after a nice long bath, I dressed myself in some robes they had left for me. Felt like a jedi knight in silk, or whatever this soft fabric is. Afterwards the maid took me to a salon, on my way I first realized I was in a palace. It was massive, the architecture breathtaking.
Once arriving at the salon I was once again greeted by Celestia and her little sister, blue horse.I know her name, but it annoys her when I call her blue horse, her expression makes me laugh.
They asked me how I slept and so on, I asked where I was and they told me this palace was known as Canterlot, the capital of their kingdom, Equestria. They asked me some details about myself, I did my best to answer, but I don't think blue horse was impressed.
It was then that I was once again face to face with the six ponies who had shot me in the face. They looked embarrassed and they assured me what happened was a misunderstanding. I'm not used to being blasted by magic, and since I was still alive I decided to forgive them.
Then the introductions began.
The first one was Twilight Sparkle, a purple unicorn who also happens to be Celestia's personal student. She is apparently learning about friendship, which gives me the sense she has the social skills of a goldfish. Why the fuck would you need to learn about friendship? She asked a LOT of questions, and I don't have enough paper in my journal to write them all down.
Then there was a rainbow maned pony named Rainbow Dash, fitting. She acted all cool, but once you dig a little deeper she was a blast being around. She has a great sense of humor, kinda reminds me of Zoey.
The next one was a pink mess called Pink Pie, or was it Pinkie? Anyway she was like a hyperactive child, but she was a lot of fun too, and she can break the laws of physics, whatever those are in this world.
Rarity, oh Rarity. She is a white unicorn with a sexy accent. Sorry, but there is something about a posh accent that does it for me. Instantly ten points, no doubt about it. She was the one who made my robes on such short notice, pretty nice of her.
Speaking of nice, the next one I met was a Pegasus called Fluttershy. She's sweet, but she's shy. Who would have guessed? There is not much to say as she had a hard time talking to me.
That leaves the last of the pony firing squad, Applejack. Like Rainbow Dash, she is pretty cool. A no nonsense country gal, mare, whatever. Was a little on guard at first, but once I let her know I grew up on a farm she instantly changed her tune. Turns out we both like apples a lot. She even has a farm that only growing apples, she promised to show me around one day.
Now you would think that would be all of them, but NOPE!
The last one was the little lizard dragon dude, Spike. Apparently he was just a baby, in dragon years at least. But Spike was pretty awesome for his age, I found myself relating to him the most. He is even into comics, now we just need a game system and we could just hang.
Anywho, this entry is pretty long, but there is not much more to tell really.
We spend the rest of the day talking. They asked their questions, I asked mine. A doctor came to see me, Rarity took measurements and then there were even more questions.
I had a pretty interesting day I admit, but I'm turning off for tonight, I'm not feeling so well, and my body is starting to feel sore. I must have been more tired than I thought.
This has been your friendly neighborhood monster Robin, signing off!
