After Sunset Shimmer finishes her work shift at the sushi restaurant, she goes home with a bag of Sushi for her dinner. She then meets a young red and blue fox boy with a hook for a hand and an eyepatch. The fox boy was shy around her, but soon trusts her and tells her what happened to him and his parents and why he didn't want to go to his drunk uncle. Feeling sorry for the child, Sunset decides to take matters into her own hands by giving him friendship and love.

If you must know, This Story Sam is not the same Sam as the His new home in Equestria Sam. This Sam is a completely different Sam with a different backstory.
