Endless

"You and I have some unfinished business to attend to," said Trixie, "My magic has grown stronger than when we had our last little encounter, and I'm gonna prove it. So how's that sound? A magic duel between you and me. The winner stays here in Ponyville and the loser is exiled."

"There's no way in hell I'd fall for a deal like that, Trixie," Twilight said competitively, "But you know what, you've got yourself a duel."

Present.....

It was 12:00 A. M. and everypony in Twilight's Castle was asleep.

Suddenly remembering her experience in the Magic Duel, Trixie awoke, clutching the Alicorn Amulet as tightly as she could. "I lost and I had to leave Ponyville," she said, "But what can I do to stop her with the fake in my hooves?"

Trixie sighed as she rolled over in her bed, still wide awake with dread. It was like the feeling was haunting her and it wouldn't leave her alone.

Maybe I should practise some magic to clear my head, she thought.

So Trixie threw the Amulet across the room until it hit the wall and shattered into a million pieces. "That's more like it," she said, "Someday everypony will notice me and bow down to me! They will realise how much better I am than Twilight Sparkle."

Hearing the crashing sound, the whole castle woke up except Spike, for Twilight's little dragon friend was a heavy sleeper. Twilight and Starlight came racing to Trixie's bedroom to examine where the sound came from.

"Trixie, it's midnight. What are you doing awake?" Starlight asked.

Afraid, Trixie used her magic to destroy the shattered decoy. "You don't wanna come in here," she said with a quiver in her voice, "Please leave me be!"

"Trixie, did you have a bad dream?" Starlight asked.

All Trixie responded by was sobbing into her pillow. "I said leave me alone!" she shouted hurtfully, her magic going everywhere across the room.

Starlight and Twilight looked at each other with concerned looks on their faces as they saw pinkish purple magic going out of control from the crack under the bedroom door.

"Something very terrible is going on in there and I don't want to be a responsible for what happens to her," Starlight said, determined. She trotted closer to Trixie's bedroom door and knocked on it. "Trixie! What's wrong?"

"Starlight, stop! If you wanna talk, let's do it in the morning!" Trixie cried, struggling to get her words out. "Or I can stay in here and be alone forever," she whispered to herself, "Where Twilight can't cause me anymore trouble and I don't have to face eternal damnation and feelings that I'm so fucking endless!"

Trixie continued to weep into her pillow. "Goodnight, Starlight." She sighed. "What will I do to formulate a plan to plot revenge against Twilight Sparkle if all I can do is delve deeper and deeper into this hole!"
