The next morning, Trixie woke up around 9:30 A.M., but couldn't get herself to come out of her room.

"Trixie, it's time for breakfast!" Starlight chirped, "Rise and shine!"

"I'll be out in a minute. I didn't sleep very well last night," Trixie said.

"OK. Just take your time, Trixie," said Starlight, trotting over to the table.

Twilight Sparkle and her student, Luster Dawn, gave Starlight concerned looks.

"Is everything alright, Mom?" Luster Dawn asked.

"I'm just worried about Trixie," Starlight replied, "She's never like this!"

"She's your friend," Luster remarked, "Isn't it important to check in with them to see what's wrong?"

"But what if she won't listen to me?" Starlight cried, "What if she just wants me to leave her alone so she can just bottle her feelings up even more?" Starlight sighed as she made her way to Trixie's bedroom door, which flung open the second she arrived.

Trixie trotted out with her head hung low, moving past Starlight as she made her way to the table.

"Trixie!" Starlight said.

"Good morning, Starlight," Trixie said, "How are you this morning?"

"What's wrong,Trixie? " Starlight said, "If anything, you can tell me."

"You wouldn't understand," Trixie said, turning away with tears in her eyes.

"Of course I would. I'm your best friend," said Starlight, "Why wouldn't I understand?"

Trixie sighed. "It's Twilight. I never knew why she never liked me. Sure, we had our differences when we met, but that's all behind us now."

"If you just tried to reason with Twilight, I'm sure she'll understand," Starlight said.
