The Story of Ruby Rust and Cozy Glow

Ruby Rust stayed up in her room until it was 9:30 P.M. Checking her phone, she flew up in the air in excitement. But within her, there was another feeling suppressing that excitement that caused her to fall to her cushiony, soft bed. Her mind raced with what would happen if she rebelled against her parents and what they'd do if she went out that night.

Ah, what the hell, she thought, shrugging it off, You've always longed for adventure. What's wrong with that? Scared of getting in trouble? Bitch, please. Do what your heart wants. Don't listen to those shitheads.

She smiled as she picked out the perfect dress. Then, she came down the stairs.

"Where do you think you're going?" Spoiled Rich said.

"Oh, Mom. Some friends invited me to a party," Ruby Rust lied.

"Like I'd believe an excuse like that," Spoiled Rich said.

"She's not going to a party, she's out to the Ponyville Spectre!" Diamond Tiara blurted out accidentally. She immediately covered her mouth with her hooves. "I'm so sorry. It just came out!"

"You are so dead, Diamond Tiara!" shouted Ruby Rust, "Mark my words: When I get back, I'll clobber you until you turn blue!"

Before anypony could stop her, Ruby Rust flew out the front door and was off to the Ponyville Spectre.
