Chapters Day 900.
This morning was beautiful.
I woke up to my best friend, in her caring hooves.
She doesn’t like to admit it, but, she’s a softy.
On the inside of course.
Every morning I wake up to make her some breakfast.
Tulip omelet; with a side of love.
I wear the rainbow gown she likes,
And with the smile she adores,
I make her food.
She wakes up to the smell,
And she greats me with a smirk.
“I love you,” I say.
She just tosses her forever windblown mane to the side and nods.
She’s not too good with emotions.
Thankfully I’m good at cooking.
We love each other full and through.
I don’t think anything could change that.

Day 920.
We went out to a bar today.
She said it’ll remind us of the good times.
I didn’t understand. These are the good times.
She got drunk. I carried her home before she could make a fool of herself.
This is the second time this week.
She sometimes skips work.
Just to lie on a cloud.
I’m beginning to be afraid.

I found the bedroom window open.
It’s the middle of winter.
Dashie avoided talking about it.
We’ve agreed that we’re connected on a deeper level.
The Elements help prove that.
But why is she not talking to me?
I just hope she’s okay.
She’ll talk to me usually.
But now she’s not.
I don’t think she’s okay.

She didn’t come home from work today.
I’m sitting here now watching the lazy stars make their way across the sky.
They rise the same time every time.
Punctual. That’s likeable.
Their light shows the way to so many experiences, like the sun.
Romantic ones as well.
Our first date was at night.
Hm.
Perhaps I’ll ask Twilight about astronomy.

I went to some of pinkies parties all week.
It’s nice to feel the rush of the night.
The rush of other happy ponies.
I like it.
It makes me feel younger and happier.

Hey guys second chapter hope you like it

I put the book back on my dusty old shelves speaking of which the book is more of a diary of the days leading up to my proposal but that's all over now its all over.
Its been 2 years since I have seen anyone of my old life I haven't seen the elements in the same amount of time or the Princesses Yeah that's right I served the princesses as the Element of Creativity and Courage.
Oh sorry for not introducing myself my Name is Ace, Ace Skywind I used to live in Ponyville with my 2 years going Ex Miss OR maybe Ms Rainbow Dash but Enough about relationships I'm a traveller I have travelled as far as Zebrica and Even into the depths of the Everfree forest where my current home resides.
Sunnytown, an apparent cursed little town full of happy people by day and monsters at night but I don't refer to them as that they are my friends and Family and by family I will explain
2 weeks after I got to Sunnytown after I settled in and put past differences of us by night I met this young girl about the age of 15 her name was Mitta.
I met Mitta at my welcoming party when we first met she seemed sad and yet happy as the party continued on me and Mitta talked and talked but as it came to a close she left I was a little bit behind her she seemed to be looking for something
"looking for something" I said to her
She jumped
"um n-no" she replied in a scared but quiet manner
"I swear Mitta you could probably rival Fluttershy in shyness" I said with a chuckle
"U-um if you don't mind me asking whos Fluttershy"
"Oh only a old friend Mitta and a old friend that I haven't seen in a long while"
"Oh ok" she replied
"so how about we get you home eh?"
"U-um that's the problem um mister Ace I-I don't live anywhere"she spoke in a sad yet held back manner
I saw something in her eyes something that made me feel sympathy
"hey Mitta how bout you stay at my place tonight?"
"um no I can't do that to you"
"No its all right I have more than enough space"
"uh ok then if you want me to"
It was then that After a year of her staying at my house I took her as my Daughter
I Stood up out of my chair and trotted into my bathroom, I walked to the mirror "I'm gonna need a shave"
I walked back into my room and went to my closet and opened it and that's when I saw my 2nd most prized posession my magically produced diamond blade
It was more of a long sword type it had a almost clear manipulative blade with a blue tinge and by manipulative I mean it can change size, shape and sharpness level and with one extra thing this blade has been passed down from generation to generation and it was made into our blood so when someone who is not in my family can't use it the blade just evaporates But my family can use it (parents, siblings, spouses, children (even if their adopted still there in my family) and parents siblings)
So I took my sword out of its metal sheath and turned it into a razor and went back to my bathroom

10 minutes later

I walk out of my bathroom feeling good and shaved and put my sword back into its original form then back into the sheath
"I better go wake Mitta up she'll need to get ready for school soon"
I then trotted down stairs past our living room and into a hallway with 2 doors: one was a bathroom and the other was Mitta's room
I walk up to the door and open it and walk into to seen my most prized possession sleeping soundly
I whisper into her ear "come on Mitta your gonna be late"
I just get a growl in response
I then get a big grin on my face"oh she'll love this"
I then prepared to leap then I jumped on her bed and landing on her waking her up immediately
"Dad why so early"
"because Its not as early as you think"
"OH MAN" she jumps out of bed and speeds through her door
"Just like rainbow dash...... WAIT WHAT where did that come from"I think to myself
"Did I just refer to my own daughter to my ex ah' what ever I'll think about it later

Chapter 3:past ain't over.....
I spent the whole day mauling over how I have referred to my daughter as my Ex "how could I do that" "I thought I got over her" "maybe I didn't"
I snapped out of it when I heard the door open and close "dad!" came from downstairs
"Yeah Mitta I'm up here!"
"Ok I'm coming up" she said as she started up the stairs to my study and bedroom
"alright" I replied
She peaked her head through the door and said "boo"
"hehe Mitta you still make me think you 'are' a little filly"
She sighed in irritation "Fine" she said turning to the stairs
"hey! where's my hug!"
"hey dad I thought hugs were for little filly's"
"Oh no you don't Mitta your getting this hug whether you like it or not"
She stuck her tongue out at me and said "you'll have to catch me first!" then she bolted down the stairs
"Get back here!" I chased after her

15 minutes of chasing later

*pant*"slow"*pant*"down"
"Na uh you said you can catch me"
"I swear Mitta you remind me a lot of Rainbow" I said through deep breaths
I mentally slapped myself
"Hey who's Rainbow Is she your marefriend" she said in a taunting voice
"ah she's nobody" I replied
"dad she's obviously somebody if you remember her so much"
"alright alright you got me yes she was my marefriend now lets get home" I said embarrassed that my own daughter caught me out
"wait wait wait dad what happened how did you guys split up"
"Its a long story now lets get home before it gets dark" I could almost see the red and black soulless eyes start to come through on Mitta but she wasn't soulless at all
"oh alright then BUT you better explain to me what happened or your gonna get it"
I held my hands up in defence "oh watch out we got a badass over here"
"and you know it" she retorted
we walked for about five more minutes just exchanging small talk watching the town take its cursed form watching the ponies turn in to stomach churning gore-y monsters but one thing above else I wasn't apart of this curse but Mitta was but she wasn't gored and mutilated she just had them eyes and a dirty coat
But one thing remained when night came she couldn't touch me or and other pony here or I would become part of this curse
We walked up to the door and I unlocked it "ladies first"
"oh dad we all know your the lady" The she turned to a more masculine voice "and I'm the awesome man"
I chuckled "I wonder if your a sister of Dash"
"hey remember you still got to tell me about that"
"alright alright we'll get to it but for now DINNER!"
I walked into the kitchen and started to look around "Hey Mitta what do you want for dinner?"
"um I don't know how bout a daisy sandwich?"
"Alright"
I made 2 daisy sandwiches and sat down across from Mitta
"so you gonna tell me about this 'Rainbow dash' huh?"
"Ok here I go it started about 4 years ago when I arrived in a small country town called Ponyville the first pony I met was a hyper pink mare named Pinkie Pie but don't think she goes by the laws of physics" Mitta laughed at this "well the first day I was there she told me she wanted to set me up a welcoming party then ran off or flew off hehe but yeah I ended up going to that party and then meeting..... Her"
"Who?"
"The one and only Rainbow Dash"
"so how come you left"
"Ok lemme get to that well we ended up dating for 2 years but towards the end of our time she left me when I was going to propose to her but she cheated on me and left"
"who did she cheat on you with?"
"one of them hotshot Wonderbolts"
"wait who's the Wonderbolts I've never heard of em, I've heard of the Shadowbolts but that's about it"
"well the Wonderbolts are Equestria's best stunt flyers group and Rainbow always wanted to join them but never got the chance but I had other friends like Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, Twilight and spike Twilight's assistant but I haven't seen them in 2 years I've either been travelling or here with you"
"hey dad are you ever planning on going back?"
"I don't think so why?"
"I think you should"
"why's that?"
"because I want an ending"
I chuckled"you always wanted a good ending didn't you well I'll seen what I can do but for now its time for bed so off you go"
"awwww why"
so you're not late like yesterday"
"Fiiiinnnneee"Mitta said in irritation
"well I'm off to bed too so Good night Mitta"
"good night dad"
I went up stairs and got in bed after putting away the dishes
"*sigh* I guess I'm gonna have to figure this out, what do I do, I haven't been there in 2 years so whatever I'll think about this in the morning"
I sighed and lets slumber take me

Chapter 4:A different point of view

Rainbow Dash's POV

Equestria was, indeed, a utopia. Candy colored clouds raced across the sky as it slowly faded into the plum of the night. The glorious sunset held the sky with a warm grasp over the apple orchard where fillies were playing hide and seek, their giggling penetrating the soft silence with a magical chime. As the mothers of Ponyville started calling their children inside, out of the heavy summer night, one pony lounged on a grassy hill that climbed over the trees, wanting nothing more than to be alone. Her teary eyes followed the shooting stars chase the earth in bright flashes, there one second and gone the next, like the memory of a dream. Her rainbow mane covered her face from the view of the fillies being ushered inside, sparing her any embarrassment for showing emotion. Maybe they would have understood. But it didn't matter to her if they did. She sure as hay didn't.
Applejack approached Rainbow calmly on the hill, the purplish light of the new night glimmering in her blonde mane. The orange pony smiled with the tenderness of a sister at her friend, for while Rainbow might try all she wanted to hide her tears, there was no concealing a bad mood from ol’ dependable Applejack.
“Sugarcube?” She startled herself with the loudness of her voice compared to the nearly silent hush of crickets and starlight. “Why aren’t you inside with everypony else?”
Rainbow said nothing, bowing her head so her mane covered her tearing eyes. “It’s called a sleepover for a reason, y’know. You got to sleep over there. You know… with the rest of us?” A.J. chuckled at her joke for a moment, but at seeing that Rainbow’s bad mood wasn’t budging, she sighed and plopped on the soft grass next to her friend.
“What’s going on, Rainbow?” she asked sweetly as the colorful pony quietly sniffled. “You… you haven’t been the same, and I got to say, that, well, you have me worried.”
Rainbow remained silent, her rosy eyes fixed on a lone dandelion among the sea of dark grass—vibrant and bright, but all alone. A tear dripped down her nose.
It was ripping her apart. This need for something new, for something fresh, for something raw, for something real; it was killing her. It felt at times like she was just a character in some cartoon, the result of an overactive imagination. As though none of this mattered. Like she didn't matter. She felt lost in all that she knew, and so small in the vast world that surrounded her. She failed she failed her element..........loyalty..
They were all inside the house at Sweet Apple Acres, snug and smiling, Twilight probably blowing out the light as she finished yet another good book. But here she was-- Rainbow Dash, THE Rainbow Dash-- crying on a hill over a stallion she hasn't seen in 2 years, as the night chilled and the wind chipped at her nose. Feeling, even though she was filled to the brim with love for her friends, empty. So, so empty, and sick of herself for doing that to Him she wouldn't even know where he is now.
The first time after she left him she heard that's when she returned after 2 weeks with soarin' to deal with her friends but what she got was completely different. They said he left taking everything and went into the Everfree but one thing her ears picked up on was when they said he took his sword and said he had an intention of using it.
She left soarin' about a year ago when he started to get controlling and she realised she made a big big mistake but here it is 2 years on and she hasn't heard a word about him in 18 months the last time she heard of him from princess celestia's royal guard was they met a strange stallion in Zebrica with a awesome sword and a blue hoofmade Canterlot guitar.
She knew it was him but after that, nothing he disappeared never heard anything from passing tourists or the princesses. She cared about him but she was lost she didn't know what to do he was gone why should she care?
She said goodbye to Applejack saying she needed to be alone for awhile as always Applejack understood and headed back to the house.
Rainbow Dash sat still as the last tear crawled down her face, the breeze chilling her wet cheeks. The cold felt good. Being alone felt good. She looked to the sky for support.
“You could do this.” Rainbow Dash muttered it under her breath, so quietly she could barely make it out over the whispers of the wind.
With one last look at the apple orchard, she spread her wings and, with a running start, leaped into the air, still feeling stiff from laying there for about 2 hours and went home to go to sleep
