Pinkie lives to make others smile.

But the world is far from a nice place, and not everypony deserves to smile. For the sake of Equestria, perhaps it is best for some ponies to be left to drown in their own misery.

Faced with such a pony, Pinkie is left with a choice. To make this pony smile, no matter the cost. Or to preserve her own happiness.

Then again, it's not like she ever had a choice.
