Danganronpa: Crisis City

Darkness.

That is all that could be described of the closed room as nothing but inky darkness that surrounds the cold gray area, as the sound of a quiet hum could be heard buzzing around the room.

The only thing which gave the room any semblance of light were the few cyan-tinted knobs that illuminated the walls of the hallway near the entrance of the room, each blinking and buzzing as they gave bits of light to the floor below them. In a sense, it was almost like something from a horror novel or a sci-fi film.

Further down, along the dimly lit hallway with numbered doors along the way, two creatures stood before the entrance, their backs to the large metal door before them as they stared down the hall with varying looks.

The taller of the two looks down with a stern, cold look, the other stared with great worry.

The taller creature, signing deeply, turned to the other, "Alright then, let's begin" he spoke coolly, his voice deep enough to make him sound like a stereotypical villain character in a kid's series.

The latter of the two, turned to the stoic man, "A-are you sure about this, sir?" he wearily replied, his voice sounding much young and scratchier in comparison, "There has to be something else we can do, I mean, this is just-"

"This is just a job," the deeper voiced man responded harshly, "Think of it as nothing more of it, and it will become an easy task" he turned back to the long hall before them- "Besides," he continued, "We might as well be dead if we prattle on any longer and let this go on any longer,"

"I-I know," he replied "but, this is-"

"Something to be done," he interrupted the younger man, "Let's go," without another word, the older man made his way down to the hall, leaving the younger man back at the entrance.

The younger man stood at the door, scared, conflicted, he was unsure of the situation before him. Why...why does it have to be his way? he moaned in thought, before begrudgingly making his way down the hall as his stomach became tighter in knots along the way.
