I...Where am I?
I found my eyes slowly began to move and my brain began to wake. I slowly lifted my eyelids as a warm welcoming light began to fill my vision.
What's... going on I questioned aloud, as my consciousness slowly, but surely, began to return to me. Along with the sore feeling of my head returning as well.
I rubbed the back of my head, possibly hoping to alleviate some of the tension there, like that would eve work, as my eyes slowly began to adjust to my surroundings, along with my other sense as they began to take notice of the world around me.
The smell of the freshly cleaned room and varnished wood which nearly covered every bit of furniture in the whole room. The site of the regal, warm-colored hotel-like room before me as colors of brown and tan colored nearly every corner of this room.
And finally, the sound of heavy water and waves that seemed to collide outside...
The sound of the wave...the sound of the wave!? Quickly, my eyes widened as I realized my surrounding; the sound of crashing waves, the hotel-like room with warm regal colors, the smell of fresh, pine cleaned, wood, and dry-cleaned towels and bed-sheets?
This...this was not the same room I went to sleep last night! In fact, what the hell was this place!? I quickly jumped out of the bed, looking around at my surroundings once more. This was most definitely not my room!
Wh-what the fuck is this! I cursed internally, scanning the room for anything to cover me a clue about how I got here, What's going on! What and I here!?
"What the hell is this!?" I shouted- no- I screamed terrified by what was going on.
I looked around the room in a panic, every single thing in here not resonating with me, as every object was nothing but a stranger to me. My eyes landed on the door, and in a haze, and ran over and began beating on it, "HEY!" I shouted, "IS ANYONE THERE! HELLO?" I did get a single response, nothing but the ambiance of the well-lit room around me. I began beating the door harder, "HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Soon, I began to breathe heavily, my chest rising in quick succession with each speedy beat of my heart, my head trying to make sense of the entire situation, trying to figure out what was going on, and ultimately, how I ended up here.
I tried to retrace my steps mentally, trying to see if there was anything I could remember. However, all that could come to mind was watching a bit of television before finally going to bed, and that was just it.
That was all I could remember from the last night. Nothing about going anywhere, being unconscious, or why I was even knocked out in the first place.
It was all nothing more than a damn blur!
I gritted my teeth, as each time I tried, not a single indicator came to my mind, "God Dammit!" I shouted in frustration, "Why can't I remember anything!?"
Slowly, I tried to calm myself down, maybe I was just forgetting somethings from my frantic thinking. Maybe...maybe if I relaxed a bit, I might remember somethings or at least something that could help me. Taking a few deep, bated breaths, I was able to calm myself down a bit, alright, let's think this through, I mentally told myself. I thought that maybe, just maybe, this was all some kind of dream. That perhaps I was still asleep and this was some kind of dream?
I've heard about how some creatures can have weirdly realistic dreams that mesh with reality, but I always thought that was attributed to coma patients or some in mental wards. And last I checked, I'm pretty damn sure I don't fit with either!
But, if this was some kind of dream, or possibly some kind of nightmare, then there was only one way to find out using a true and true method.
Using my talons, I pinched my right arm as hard as I could, and in that actions- ouch-it hurt like hell! I guess that means I'm awake then...dammit.
I sighed heavily at that realization, I never thought, for one moment of my life, I'd end up in a situation like this.
It's not like I'm anyone important, I was nothing more than a griffin you'd probably meet on the street, or hell if I was lucky enough, I'd probably end up as an extra on a C-list movie that would end up at the bottom of a grab-all bin at a video store.
So..why of all creatures, of all griffins, was I the one to get kidnapped and stowaway onto this...this place.
As that thought came to mind, another did as well; where exactly was I? I scanned the room quickly, seeing if there was anything that could serve as a clue about this room.
I looked towards a long desk with a mirror above, which not only caught mu suspicions, but I was able to get a good look at myself
Yep, same as it ever was, I thought myself, making my way to the desk, Same blue feathers, same short beak, I still have all my talons and toes, and it doesn't look like I have anything bandaged so at least nothing got taken out...wait a minute, glanced up at my head, looking at the toft of hair atop my head- why does it seem... a little shorter than usual? It wasn't completely noticeable, but something about it felt off somehow.
Did these guys, or whoever kidnapped me, cut off a piece of my hair? If this situation wasn't bad enough, now I have to deal with creepy, pedo, kidnappers, that's just my luck.
But, that didn't matter, right now, I need to find out where the hell I was, and fast! With that thought, I took yet another breath, before beginning my investigation of the room. However, just before I could begin, almost as if by luck, one quite loud indicator caught my attention- Sslooossh- in the form of crashing waves, and splashing water.
Almost immediately, I turned my attention towards the circular winder next to my bed, and mad made my way over it to investigate.
That sound, I questioned, That's definitely not the sound of traffic- I quickly ran over to the window, and luckily, it was clean, almost as clear as day.
Or rather, clear as night.
When I looked out at my window, I got a full glimpse of the dark, starry night sky that laid atop the live waters of the sea that continually beat the side of my cabin.
There was nothing but the night sky and the dark sea before me.
I was on a boat.
...
I-I was on a boat! Why the hell was I on a boat. What the hell was going on.
I felt myself once again breathe heavily at that discovery only worsened my mood. Millions of questions entered my head, like why was I here? Why was I on a boat?
And the most important of all, where the hell was I going!?
With the knowledge of me being on a boat, it only made things worse. For all I knew, I'm probably being sold as a sex slave right now, or something worse! Hold on, I need calm down,, I told myself, attempting once again to gain my composure, I still need to figure out what's going on? With that thought in mind, I turned my attention back to the desk and walked towards it.
With a bit of hesitation, I opened one of the many drawers apart from the piece of furniture. I opened the on to the far left and found nothing but the carpeting attached. The drawers beneath it were about the same except for some of the dust and, somehow, a single sock.
No dice, I thought aloud. I then began the same procedure with the right side of the drawers.
Luckily, I found something that, while not a clue, gave me some kind of insight into what's going on.
On the far-right, smaller, drawer, there as a small tablet-shaped object in there. What is this? I questioned internally, as I grabbed the table and began to inspect it, "Is this some kind of phone or something? Or maybe it's a kind of PDA?"
I continued to feel around the device until I found a small button on the side of the device, Guess I'll find out. I turned on the device and as soon as I did, the screen flashed on with a bright blue light. On the screen, there was something I was not expecting to see.
On the small screen, there in all its glory was my name
G A L L U S
A V I S
My name, I thought aloud, as I stared at the screen in quite a bit of surprise. It was one thing to get kidnapped, but now they know who I am. I chuckled a bit, merely out of frustration, it was just my luck, too.
A few seconds later, my name faded away and was replaced by what appeared some icons on the screen atop a generic mountainous landscape background. From the looks of it, this was definitely a PDA.
Which only added more questions to the ones that piled up in my head earlier. If this really was some sort of black market type of deal, then why did they give me this device? If they were planning to kidnap me, then why give me something I could use to escape.
However, thinking more about it, maybe there was something more to this than I expected, but what was it exactly.
Not waiting another minute, I instinctively took out the small stylus in the PDA and began swiping through hoping to find something. However, that hope was quickly dashed, as there wasn’t anything on the device. Of course, there wasn't even a phone app or messaging app I could use, just my luck...
One thing I did notice from the device however was a video application that seemed to be glowing, enticing me almost to tap it.
I guess it's better than nothing, WIth that thought, I tapped the app, and almost immediately it began to play. Or rather, the audio began to play, while the video was entirely blank.
"Hello, Bonjour, Konichiwa, Hola, and Gooday," the video greeted me, the voice in question sounding cutesy and girlish tone, like something from a cartoon for griffin cubs, "I am so super duper happy that you could join us for today!" The voice exclaimed happily.
Joined you? I questioned as the video continued.
"I know you may seem a teeny, tiny bit confused about what's going on right now huh?" No shit, I groaned "Well not to worry-" she said with reassurance, but that only made me much more skeptical of things "everything will be explained to you in orientation so be sure to exit through your cabin door and meet everyone else in the main deck,"
As soon as I heard that, my eyes widened on one particular word. Everyone.
Was I...not the only one who got kidnapped? Maybe, this was some kind of hostage situation, and somehow they knocked us all out? It didn't make much sense but that's all I could think of.
Maybe I was mistaken for someone else and the other could be some high-profile griffin or something that these guys have in their grasp.
If that's the case, it's obvious why they kidnapped them. But with the look of some of these PDA's, they look all fresh out the box. Not to mention, if they were broke, then there's no way in hell they could afford to stuff us on a boat unless it was hijacked.
As those thoughts continued, so did the video, "Also," she went on, "be sure to grab the pamphlet beneath this neat little doodad of ours-" as soon as she said that, I looked back into the small desk drawer and saw the overly colorful slip of paper that looked like it was meant for a cub's birthday party- "You wouldn't want to get lost right? I'd be super, super, unfun if we lost you and missed out on the totally stoke-tacular school trip!"
Like with the last word, this one immediately caught my interest. School Trip.
In fact, it wasn't just that, the word 'school' alone brought back some memories that seemed to help me out.
From what I could remember, I...I was going to attend a new school today. I remember going to bed with this deep feeling in the pit of my stomach, an almost nervous feeling about something. I was going to attend some kind of academy for the new school year. The name was a blur, but it was an academy that nearly everyone had heard of. A school which a number of noblemen, business types, and even some in the government have heard of.
And from what I've heard, it's a special kind of academy that only scouts for the top league of high schoolers.
It...it was a school for the gifted, one I was going to attend.
A school for the gifted, and I got chosen to go? Why was I-
"-Now then" the voice continued on, interrupting my thoughts "please be sure to exit your cabin door, and enter into the main deck of this little ship of ours-" almost on command, the door to 'my room' unlocked with a loud click sound.
"I can't wait to see you!" she exclaimed, "So long farewell, and Auf Wiedersehen!" With that last line, the video ended once again leaving me in silence.
In that silence, I turned to the door that had finally unlocked. However, rather than run, I hesitated in walking over. She said she, 'couldn't wait' to see me, what on Equus would that mean? Was she going to kill me? Or maybe, they're trying to lead us out so the police can get a good look at us when they made their demands?
Either way, it didn't sound like anything good could come from it, but like hell, I was going to let this moment pass!
Taking in a deep breath, made my way to the door, and with the little courage I mustered, I opened the door, and exited the room, silently praying that nothing would happen. And it seemed in that moment, the gods heard my prayers as the second I left my comfy cell, I was greeted by a hall that radiated the same tone and energy as my room.
The same warm coloring, the same lights, same everything in some regards. It almost had this Victorian vibe to it.
It honestly was a pretty relaxing mood, had things been different, I wouldn't have minded laying about in bed. But in my situation, that was completely off the table. Not waiting for another second, I cautiously made my way down the seemingly long hallway that feeling I had from last night seemingly returning as with each step, I felt myself breathing harder.
During that grueling walk, millions of questions entered my head as I waited to see what could be on the other side.
What if this was some sort of trap? Like the second I walked through, they were going to shoot me point blank and kill me or use me as some kind of collateral for their ransom
Or hell, if I was lucky enough I'd just end up with one of the hostages and tied up.
But then again, if this was some sort of ransom, then why give us a PDA? Hell, why even us a boat? Last time I checked, I was asleep in my med back at home, so why would they even bother to bring someone like me to this boat.
If anything, this strengthened my whole sex slave theory. I've heard there were still some seedy cities that did this in places like Saddle Arabia or Yakistan or Klushara, there are tonnes of cases of ponies, griffins, donkeys, hell even some dragons being sold on the market. It's pretty hard to not hear about it with the news covering it at any chance they get.
It seemed like some who visit those countries, seem to end up getting kidnapped and sold off by gangsters and criminal syndicates.
Still, it just doesn't seem to make sense why out of every other person, I was the one chose for this!
But that's not just it, what about that voice? It sounded so cheerful and happy-go-lucky like this was some sort of party or...or school trip...
There's also that to wonder about too. What did she mean by school trip? I may not be one to judge, but last I checked they don't usually do this sort of stuff until the last day of school or something, so why now?
And this pamphlet, this cheery looking pamphlet that seemed to scream unease. What was this all about? Was it serious, or was it all just a lie.
Of course, my mind went for the latter.
In my vision, I soon saw the two golden-colored doors with swirling black patterns, which lead to the main deck of the ship, and as I got closer, a chorus of voices rang out. Are these the other she talked about? I questioned internally. From the sound of it, they all sounded just as confused if not fretful of what was going on.
"-just gave you a PDA?" feminine one voice rang out, with a thick accent accompanying it.
"Yeah," replied another voice, this one a bit more masculine, but still just as young-sounding "And then this voice told me to go here,"
"Danm," a third voice, one much more masculine in comparison, commented, "This shit's fuckin' crazy, yo! I thought this school was gonna be easy as shit, the fuck's goin'' on?"
After him, a few other voices commented as well, saying how they all woke up that way. All of them differing from masculine to feminine voices, some higher and some lower-pitched then others
I kinda chuckled at that, only out of a small sense of relief, well, at least I'm not the only one.
"So," spoke another victim this one sounding much gruffer, "Why do you think they kidnapped us?"
"Maybe for a ransom," another deep voice replied, "Perhaps we got caught up in something,"
"C-C-Caught up," responded a stuttering voice, who sounded like she was on the verge of tears, "Y-you think i-it might be some kind of t-terrorist group!?"
"I'm not sure," the gruff voice replied, "Either way, this definitely ain't good,"
"No shit this 'ain't good'" a female voice chided irritably, "Whatever the hell these guys want I'll just pay for it, I don't have time for this childish horseshit!"
"We all do, miss," a refined sounding man replied, "But it appears we may need to figure things out if where ever need to escape our current predicament. to think some kidnapped such pretty looking dragonesses and mares, it's truly a travesty!"
...Well, maybe they did grab some creatures worth a ransom...I guess.
I shook my head a bit, attempting to hype myself up. I knew I couldn't just sit here all day, waiting on them. Because, I wanna know why I ended up here too, and if I should start anywhere, my best guess is to group up with these guys.
Taking another deep breath, I steeled my nerves and opened the double doors before me.
As soon as I entered the lobby, I was met with two sights.
One was the beauty of the room itself. Like the cabin, it held those same warm, homely tones of browns and tans and maroon that meshed well with one another. Adorning the walls were a number of paintings; either of the ship or of some random stallions and griffins all of whom looked pretty regal.
About a meter above me was a glistening chandelier that greatly lit the entire room for us.
At the far back, was the concierge desk; the wall behind being a simple black and tan color, with some wooden, mahogany panels for some kind of aesthetic, I guess., The desk itself being of the same material, with some black lines cutting into the desk, giving it an almost minimalistic look. All in all, it was a pretty standard looking front desk.
But, that wasn’t just the only thing that caught my attention, though.
As for the second, it was them. All sixteen of them, in fact!
The others who were kidnapped and trapped on this boat.
From the looks of it, it was quite a diverse group. Some minotaurs, dragons, ponies, two felhunds, some zebras, and even a Lykoi
Whoever these guys were, it seemed like they were trying to cover their bases for a lot of creatures.
The second I entered the room, almost immediately everyone's eyes landed on me, varied looks between intrigue, worry, and annoyance.
I simply stared back at everyone else. I'm not exactly sure what to say in a situation like this, or hell, what even to do in a situation like this! All I knew, was that I wasn't alone.
"u-uh" I stuttered, trying to find my words,
"Oh, h-hey." a white-coated unicorn stallion began, as he stared back at me, there was a strong sense of hesitance in his voice, "did you...also wake up here too?"
"Y-yeah," I replied, some hesitance strong in my voice.
To the right of him, a shot felhund, with a golden coat and pointed ears commented, "Then I guess you're not the only one," he said, "We all ended up here the same way,"
"Let me guess," a blue dragoness with deep red eyes questioned me, "you woke up in a cabin, and you were given this PDA and brochure, right?"
I simply nodded. The moment I glanced at her, not only did she have this sort of, strict aura to her, something about her seemed vaguely familiar
The blue dragoness hummed, "Guess you got targeted too, then,"
I cocked my eyebrow in confusion, "Targeted?" I repeated.
"You probably did really get a chance to hear about this," added a short purple drake, "But a little earlier, we discussed a few things when some of us woke up and made our way here," he explained.
"From the voice on the PDA, it keeps talking about a school trip, and unless you got on the wrong boat, it seemed like everyone here was supposed to be attending that academy,”
“That academy?” I parroted, “Do you mean?” Before I could finish that thought, the stern-looking blue dragoness answered my question.
“Yeah, we were all supposed to attend Solar Spark Academy, but all of us wound up here,” she replied
Solar Spark... That name seemed, incredibly familiar. I repeated it a few more times in my head until a few sparks of my own suddenly began as yet another memory entered my mind, That's right...Solar Spark was the school for the gifted!
A school that promised grand success for any of its graduates. An academy that received the best of the best and put out the best it had to offer. A school that received so many gifted students that they received their own title and everything.
It was that very same that I, or rather, we were going to attend. Were being the main word here.
From what I remember, one day I received a letter in the mail about the school, and I ended up getting in because...because I...Oh right, I almost forgot, suddenly, the small excitement I felt from that memory seemed to diminish as I remembered something else from that letter I received something felt more like a bad joke than anything.
However, my dotting was cut short, as the abrasive orange dragoness who carried a large messenger bag that had three other devices clipped to it, caught my attention, snapping me back to reality "Hey, Rain Mare!" she exclaimed, "We ain't got all day, I asked you a question!"
"O-oh sorry," I apologized, "what did you say?"
The dragoness groaned loudly, "I said, do you remember anything when you woke up, like maybe something that could help us?"
I scratched the back of my head, as I quickly tried to think of anything but unfortunately, nothing interesting came to mind, "No, all I remember was going to bed the night before and watching a bit of T.V. but that's all.
Irritated, the girl dragon clicked her tongue, "Dammit." she hissed, "of all the times this had to happen too-" she turned to the others, "Anyone remembers anything?" she asked, receiving nothing but silence for the most part aside from some shaking heads, "Bahamut Dammit, what the hell is this!"
"Hey now don't worry!" shouted the overly muscular zebra stallion, his tan button-up shirt adorn with a sash that had a number of colorful badges on it, "I'm sure if anything the police are on the way!"
"B-but what if they can't find us," whined a short zebra mare, who wore this almost victorian looking gothic dress "W-what if we're on like, the other side of the world or something!?"
"Don't worry," He reassured her loudly, "knowing my dad, I can guarantee you he'll find us-" He placed his hoof over his heart, “Trust me on this, we’ll make it out in one piece! Count on it!” He shouted with a sort of heroic vibrato
A skinny minotaur whose hoodie and school jacket seem to barley fit him, along with his cap that covered a good portion of his head, groaned, holding his head in pain, "Yo, Captian Hero, can you quiet the fuck down?" he hissed at the strong zebra, "Fuck, that's seriously the last time I get blitzed at a fuckin' party,"
"W-well now, whose fault is that," the same short zebra mare chided the bull, who simply stared back in annoyance.
"Anyways" the purple drake interjected, "right now the important thing is to figure out what's going on,"
"Yeah," the black and tan colored felhund said in agreement, "right now we need to figure out how to get off this ship,”
"I wouldn't say the how is important, madame," a pink furred unicorn stallion replied, his regal accent sounding much more pronounce as I head it, "rather, it's 'why' we were kidnapped, in the first place,”
One voice scoffed, "Sounds easier said than done," commented a black-furred minotaur sow with white hair."I think the real question is, how the hell we wound up here?"
As soon as she said that, a small bit of commotion arose in the hall. That was definitely the million-bit question. If these guys were in the same place as me, then maybe, they all woke up the same way too? I'm not completely sure but, if these guys were just somehow snatched from their homes, there might be something more here than we expect.
"Y-yeah t-that's a good point," stuttered a gray furred lykoi sounding just as fretful as when I heard her through the doors. "C-cause, a-all I r-remember was f-feeding my familiar, and going to b-bed-" her eyes slowly began to well up with wet tears "t-then all of a sudden, I-I was in one of those cabins and ended up on this s-ship!"
"H-hey now don't worry," The female felhund attempted to console the terrified lykoi, "There is nothing to be worried about, I'm sure there's someone looking for us as we speak,"
"That depends if any of us live long enough to get rescued," the disgruntled Dragoness commented.
That comment how over only seem to cause a loud whimper to escape from the lykoi's mouth as a stream of tears fell on to her face.
That didn't seem to sit well with the di-colored canine, who glared at the dragon, "Thanks a lot you jerk! Now she's crying again," she chided, as she began to once again try to comfort the crying feline.
The orange dragon simply just clicked her tongue, "Not my fault if that bitch can't handle reality,"
"It doesn't matter if she can't take it or not," the muscular zebra responded sternly, "This is just about trying to prevail with cool heads and get out of this,"
"Don’t pull this crap, scout boy," the dragon remarked, "We all woke up on a random-ass ship, and you just expect us not to overreact!?"
"That's not what I-" Before he could continue, a sharp whistle caught the attention of nearly everyone there. Like some sort of drill sergeant, or coach, we turned to see a snow-white mare whose clothes seemed a bit...out of place.
"Alright, now," the alabaster mare began, her voice carrying this sort of stern tone like a mother, "I know everyone here is a little freaked out, but don't worry about it, kay?"
As soon as those words left her mouth, the orange dragon whose glare was set on the zebra, her gaze turned to the oddly dressed mare, "Don't worry about," the irate dragon repeated, even more, irritated than before, "Don't worry about it! Are you retarded or something!? Or is this, like your second kidnapping or what!"
"Hey now," the muscular zebra called in a scolding tone, "there's no need for such insulting language!"
The dragoness however ignored his remarks, "For all we know, we could be held way across the Bahamut damn globe, and you say not to worry about it!"
The alabaster mare simply nodded in response, "Yes I am."
The dragon simply stared at her with an astonished, umbraged expression, a hard glare that could have cut right through the mare. I could understand why she was upset. I mean most creatures wouldn't be so cool about waking up in a random place like this. Especially on a random ship like this.
In fact, I'm surprised how many of them were keeping their cool in this situation. I mean, with all of us waking up like this, not to mention all of us were going to attend Solar Spark, it seemed like some kind of target operation on the school, and from that alone, it probably wouldn't take much to wonder what our captors were going to do to us once they got here.
So the fact that any of them could not be screaming their head off like her, or crying their eyes out like that lykoi girl was a mystery in itself.
For someone like this mare to act so calm was almost endearing, in a certain way.
My sentiment, however, was a complete one-eighty in comparison to the raging dragoness, who began to lightly chuckle, "You're all fucking nuts," she hissed, "School for the gifted my tail, it seems to me they take in mental cases too! Do any of you have any idea what we're dealing with here!"
"I'm pretty sure most of us do," replied a lanky grey colored stallion, his black mane mostly covered by his green hat. From the sound of his voice, it seemed like his mind has taken a little longer to get up than the others. His voice carried a sort of coastal drawl to it as he spoke with a slow cadence, "geez, talk about blowing a gasket," he continued, "Don't you business-y types usually keep a stress toy around or something?"
"Don't patronize me you bastard," the dragon growled, turning her heating gaze to the overly relaxed stallion. “I seriously don’t have time for this sort of mystery party, horseshit!”
"But he does have a point," the felhund spoke once again, "gettings all worked up like this won't solve anything, right now,"
The muscular zebra, taking the lead once more, nodded, "She's absolutely right, right now we need to come together and theorize what's going on here,"
"If we can do that, then surely-" before he could continue, a new, yet familiar-sounding voice echoed in the room, catching nearly all of us off guard.
"There's absolutely, positively no need for that!" the voice said excitedly.
At that moment, almost all of us turned to the front of the main deck where the concierge desk was.
"W-what was that," stuttered the unicorn stallion, "who said that?"
Another unicorn stallion, along with a few of the other athletic-looking students, and the short felhund who pulled out some kind of weapon from his white long-coat, stood before the desk in defensive poses, preparing for anything that could appear from the from, "Come out you fiend!" The stallion, who under his school uniform wore a sort of purple wizard's cape and matching hat, shouted dramatically, speaking as if this was some sort of Shapesperian play, "You have made a grave mistake in absconding with the Great and Powerful Tristan!"
Tristan? I thought with an unimpressed expression. Not to dog on his name, but with a voice like his, the name Tristan almost feels...lackluster.
Names aside, with those at the front ready themselves for our captors, the others stood back, some either ready to join in the fight, others ready to run like hell once the chance comes up,"
I was definitely part of the latter.
For what felt like a solid minute we all stood there, watching and waiting for anything to happen. Ready to fight like hell, or run like no tomorrow.
After about a few minutes of silence, the voice spoke again, "Gee whiz," she spoke, "I knew you guys need a vay-cay, but I never knew how badly ya needed it!"
"What you mean by that," the short felhund demanded, "We're supposed to be attending Solar Spark Academy, why were we kidnapped?"
"Kidnapped!?" the voice responded in shock, "no no no, only nasty, bad, creatures do that kind of stuff,"
"And what makes you so damn different!?" the orange dragoness questioned.
"Well," she continued "why don't I show you!"
With that final line, a sudden pinkish blur launched from behind the desk at a seeped that almost seemed impossible for something of its size.
We all stared at the pinkish ball for a quick second, before she uncurled herself from the summersault, and finally presented herself to us.
And it was something that surely, honestly, I couldn't believe. Before us was a hoof tall pale-yellow bear-like doll that stood before us on the desk. Her eyes were as black as the night I saw before, her fury was ruffled and, from what I could imagine, looked about as soft as cotton, and her dress was this colorful, sky-blue, gala dress, frills and all.
In summation, our captor was a fucking child’s toy.
And as you could expect, we all simply just stared at the doll, absolutely stunned by what was in front of us. I mean, how would...how could you react to seeing a doll just pop out like that? Not to say that animatronics didn't exist in Equestria, or in other parts of Equus for that matter, but this was the last place I was expecting to see such a thing in.
In that stunned silence, of course, the only one who spoke was the doll herself, "Wowwy wow wow!" she exclaimed excitedly, "I wasn't expecting so many new faces today-" she held he paws up to her face, like an exciting foal waiting for its present, "but that just makes it even better!"
"I-ist that a teddy bear?" the felhund questioned, with a worrisome expression on her face.
"Yep yep," the doll replied happily as ever, "I'm a sweet, huggable super duper fun little dolly!"
She did a little courtesy bow, “My name is Pawlina, or if you want you can call me Pawla! I’m super happy to meet you all!” After Paula’s introduction, there was a strong minute of silence before anyone else spoke up.
"Y-you," stunned orange dragoness stuttered out, taking the lead to speak "You gotta be fucking kidding me,"
The bear simply giggled at the dragon, "Nope-y nope, I really real!"
"B-but how-" the normal-looking unicorn began before he was interrupted by the doll, who seemed to be grinning, like a kid hiding a secret.
"Now now," she replied, why tell when I could show!"
With that final line, her eyes began to glow an almost sickly yellow color, and soon, the wall behind her began to morph?
T-the wall was beginning to morph!
The mahogany plaster and black brick walls began to break apart symmetrically, the cracking noises from the foundation drove into our ears as we witness something only thought of in fantasy films or fiction.
The final wall cracked, soon the entire front of the room began to split apart, and just right there and then- BBOOOMM the front wall fell apart.
Part of me wished that was the only thing that happened. After all this I only hoped, for the last bit of my sanity, that this was the final straw of this weird journey.
But no...it never is.
Before all sixteen of us, there, in all its glitz and bright shining glamor, was a city that you would be hard-pressed to find anyone not know its name.
And for all of us, almost upon seeing it, that stunned silence returned to us, as we stared in complete befuddlement and shock.
N-no, I thought a lot, my mind trying to make up reasoning that was never there, t-that can't-
"I'd like to first welcome everyone to their first school trip-" the voice shouted happy as could be, "Welcome all, to Manehatten!" She turned her body over to the city only a few miles away from us, as it inched ever closer and closer.
Even though we were a few miles away, we all stared at the giant city in a dazed manner. After a while, some of us regained our consciousness; some simply tried to make reason for this. Others, or rather 'other' in the lykoi's case, began to whimper once again as the entirety of the situation was all still one big blur to them. The rest just simply stood in shock.
As we began approaching the dock, as I nearly fell from my mind trying to make sense of it all, one thing was surely clear.
This was quite the beginning to my new school life,
Author's Note
Just in case any of you were wondering, a felhund is basically another term for diamond dog, I just felt that the word Diamond Dog felt a bit tedious to write so I just shorten it via translator
Felson = Rock
Hund = Dog
Felhund
So that's pretty much it.
Hopefully you liked it. If not then whatever, I'm just kinda bored and thought this would be interesting.
