The World of Fattystria

Yeah, a world. Unlike Equestria, which is a country in the canon world (regardless of anthro or feral), Fattystria encompasess the whole of the globe of this Alternative-Universe. This world is full of various creatures, ponies mostly, that are fat and/or are frequently fattened up or inflated, sometimes both. “How did Fattystria come to be?” Some of you might ask. Well it’s simple. Celestia had too much cake.

Seriously.

When she banished Luna (as Nightmare Moon) to the Moon, she briefly spiraled into depression. The only thing that made her feel better was cake. She ate cake at every meal to try to fight the depression of what she did. Pounds piled on until she learned that Luna would be free in a thousand years. She stopped for a time and her weight plateaued...at least until she gave into the cake addiction she unintentionally got herself stuck in.

As the years passed, and the pounds piled, many ponies and other sentient creatures began to notice her weight increase. No one objected to it, due to obvious reasons, and many ponies and creatures adopted this new lifestyle of being large and feeling in charge. So much so, that the generations after the lifestyle changes, everyone had developed minor mutations in their bodies to allow them to be super healthy and active despite being unhealthily fat and gluttonous.

Heck, this DNA change somehow extended to Celestia and Luna, despite being the same ponies they are now as they were then….mostly.

Now, if you are thinking that this also affects the base MLP story from Equestria, be assured that it didn’t. Just imagine the events of the show, except everyone is both Anthro and is Bigger.

Now, for those wanting to get to the “meat” of the story (mainly the fattening, inflating, and fat shenanigans in general), that starts up shortly after the “end of Season 8”, which is when a few unique individuals moved to Ponyville.

Also, Celestia has no plans to retire. How will she get free cake on a daily basis if she does?

Unique Individuals of Fattystria

• Blueberry Cobbler: known by most as Blue, this blue unicorn is a former Royal Guard, injured in the great Changeling Invasion. He is a master of inflation magic and has many degrees from Sky Blue's Royal Academy of Inflationary Arts. To which he adjuncts online classes and runs the coffee shop where, after closing, the inflationary coffees and treats come out. He can have a gruff personality and can give a Royal Guard stare to those who are ticking him off. But he's outgoing and friendly to most creatures.
• Apple Cinnamon: known by most as Cinnamon, or AC by Blue, a unicorn Apple Family member, is a college grad in Agricultural Engineering and helps on the farm when he isn't working at Blue's shop. He keeps a disapproving look at most ponies because, as quoted in Dirty Harry, "He doesn't play favorites, he hates everycreature." Social aspects aside, he is probably the one thing keeping Blue from destroying the coffee shop's reputation.
• Hambone: eldest of her siblings, she is a massive Earth Pony glutton and part-time streamer. When not streaming...well, she eats, fights, starts problems, sleeps, repeats.
• Midnight Dasher: middle sibling of his family, is an adventurous unicorn and often searches the world for treasure. (When he's not running his massive transportation business.) When not doing either, he's usually reading in his spare time.
• Otakas: youngest sibling, he is a nerdy Earth Pony that obsesses over Video Games, Anime, etc. But is also a computer engineer and fixes computers and programs for a living. He also streams with his older sister on occasion, where he often teases her about her weight (as siblings do)...come to think of it, he teases her almost anytime they are in the same room.
