Ponyville 10:00pm

It is very late in Ponyville right now, and many ponies including some foals were seen strolling in Ponyville while wearing costumes, and the reason behind that is because today is Nightmare night in Equestria. Everypony including some youngs were seen dressed in some scary costumes for the tradition, foals also have Halloween baskets in their muzzles so that they can get sweets from the neighbours.

In Twilight and Thorax's castle, Prince Alistair the son of King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle as well as the younger brother of Princess Twirax was seen dressing up in his room.

"Okay, where's my costume?" Alistair said as he started to search through his large closet. After moving some of his cloths in cloth hangers on the clothe rack for five seconds later, Alistair has found his costume. "Aha! There you are." Alistair said with a smile. Then, he pulled out his tricerotop costume on a clothe hanger.

"Alright, time to put this on." Alistair said.

Then, Alistair pulled the costume off of the hanger with his magic. After that, he placed the hanger back onto the rack and started to wear the costume. He levitated the costume up in the air and pulled it down on him, wearing it in the process. And finally, he pushed his head out of the head area of the tricerotop costume, and the costume was fully worn. Then, he looked at himself at his standing mirror.

"Alright, I look great!" Alistair said with a smile.

"Alistair!" Called Twilight Sparkle from downstairs "Are you done?" She asked.

"I'm done mommy!" Alistair exclaimed "I'll be down in just a second!" He added.

Then, Alistair turned to his right and walked to his bedroom door. Once he got to it, he pushed it open with his hooves and ran to his left where the stairs were.

At the first floor of the castle, Queen Twilight was seen dressed in a wizard costume while her daughter was dressed in a knight costume.

"Mom where's dad?"

"I don't know." Twilight replied with a shrug "He said that he was going to-"

Twilight wasn't able to finish her sentence when the door to the living room was pulled open. Twilight and her daughter both turned their heads to their left and saw Thorax in his old changeling form.

"Hello you two!"

Twilight and Twirax were both speechless by the sight.

"Daddy, is that your old form?" Twirax asked in a perplexed tone.

"Yep." Thorax replied with a nod "You are correct sweetie." He finished with a smile.

"That's all you could come up with?" Twilight asked with a incredulous expression.

"Hey come on baby I couldn't find anything suitable costumes for myself at the costume store." Thorax told her "So, I decided to transform into my past self." He finished.

When Twilight heard this, she chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"I guess so." Twilight said with a giggle, and Thorax chuckled back.

"Say, where's Alistair?" Thorax asked. "He said that he is going to dress up in his costume that we got him." He added.

"He said that he is going to come down here in a few moment-"

Then on cue, Thorax, Twilight and Twirax all heard some noises upstairs. They all looked up and saw Alistair in a brown coloured tricerotop costume.

"Daddy! Mommy! Big sis! I'm-"

Alistair wasn't able to finish his sentence when one of his hooves stepped onto his costume. He then slipped and tumbled down the stairs. Five seconds later, he fell face first onto the ground which made his parents and Twirax cringe. But, after a second, he stood back up on his hooves with a smile.

"Ready!" He finished.

"Aww, look at you." Twirax cooed as she walked up to her little brother "You're so adorable in the costume." She said as she rubbed her brother's cheeks, and Alistair chuckled.

Thorax and Twilight had an adorable expression towards their children. Before they could say anything, they heard somepony coming up to them from behind. Thorax and Twilight both turned around and saw Starlight behind them, and she was in a wolf costume.

"Hello you two." Greeted Starlight.

"Hello Starlight." Thorax and Twilight greeted back.

"I see that you are ready." Twilight said with an impressed expression.

"Indeed I am." Starlight said with a nod "I also see that your kids are ready too." She added looking at Twirax and Alistair who were looking at her.

"Indeed we are aunt!" Both of them said in unison.

"Cool!"

"Alright, let's put all of that aside." Twilight said "Who's ready to go?" She asked.

"We are!"

Then, the family all walked downstairs to the front doors of the castle.

One minute later, the family have all arrived at the front doors of their castle.

"Allow me." Said Thorax in a loyal tone.

He activated his horn and gripped onto the handle with his magic. After that, he pushed the two doors opened and his wife, Starlight and kids all exited the castle, and Thorax exited after them and closed the door behind him in the process.

After that, the whole family walked up to the front gates of the castle. Twilight placed both hooves onto it and pushed them open and the family exited their home. Once they were out, they all walked to Ponyville.

After a one minute walk, the family have all arrived in Ponyville and saw many ponies in costumes trick or treating around the town.

"Wow, quite a busy Nightmare night." Alistair said with a nonplus expression.

"Agreed." Said Twirax.

Twirax then looked forward and saw her friends Viper, Screwball and Precious along with Indominus, Rexy, Discord, Sail, the CMC'S and her aunts.

"Viper, Screw ball, Precious!" Twirax exclaimed as she rushed towards her friends.

When Viper, Screwball and Precious heard the intimate voice, the trio looked to their right and saw their friend Twirax running towards them.

"Twirax!"

Once Twirax has reached them, the four hybrids embraced each other in a hug and hoof bumped each other.

"I see that you three are prepared!" Twirax said with a smile while looking at their costumes.

"Indeed." Viper said with a nod.

"You look prepared as well." Screwball said with a smile.

Before Twirax could speak, Alistair walked up to them.

"Hello Viper, Screwball, Precious uncles and aunts." Alistair greeted in a polite tone.

The hybrid trio all looked down and saw Alistair in a very adorable tricerotop costume.

"Aww, you look so cute Alistair." Precious commented with a warm smile.

"Thank you Precious." Alistair said with a smile "You look nice in that costume too." He told her.

"Thank you." Precious said with a smile.

"Alright, now that the whole gang is here, who's ready to have a merriment time?" Indominus asked.

"We are!"

"Then let's go!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed with a exuberant expression.

"Come on Saily, I'll show you how entertaining and cool Halloween is." Sweetie Belle said.

"I am eager to know Sweetie." Sail said with a smile as well as nuzzling her cheek.

Then, the dinosaurs, ponies, Thorax and Discord all parted ways to have a wonderful time in Nightmare night.
