In the middle of town, Prince Alistair was seen strolling through Ponyville with his parents. He is seen having a Halloween basket in his muzzle.

"I can't believe that this is your first time trick or treating honey." Twilight said nuzzling her son.

"I know mom, I'm so intoxicated!" Alistair exclaimed with an exhilarated smile "So, what do I do again exactly?" He asked again with a perplexed expression.

"Well first, you need to go up to your neighbour's door and knock on it, after that, you have to say the words 'trick or treat' and finally, the ponies will give you your treats." Thorax instructed.

Alistair took a while to memorize what his father had told him. After ten seconds, he took a deep breaths and looked up at his parents with a confident expression.

"I can do this."

"That's my baby!" Twilight exclaimed with a proud expression.

Alistair gave his mother a nod and turned around. After that, he walked up to the front door of the house. Five seconds later, Alistair has arrived to the front door of the house. He then raised his right hoof up and knocked on the door.

*Knock knock*

After a brief moment, the front door was opened and Alistair saw a mare.

"Trick or treat." Alistair said kindly.

"Aww, what a sweet little hybrid." The mare said in a adorable manner towards the son of King Thorax and Queen Twilight "Wait right there your highness." The mare said walking back into her home.

After ten seconds, the mare came back to Alistair with a chocolate bar and a piece of candy.

"Here you go." The mare said putting the sweets in Alistair's backpack.

"Thank you." Alistair said with a grateful smile towards the mare.

"You're very welcome." The mare said with a bow "Well, I'll see ya next time." The mare said with another bow. Then, the mare closed the door.

Alistair then turned around and walked back to his parents with a wide smile on his muzzle.

"Mommy look! I got my first two sweets!" Alistair said showing them his basket.

Thorax and Twilight both looked down on Alistair's basket and saw that there was a chocolate bar and a piece of candy in the basket. Then, they both looked back at him with smiles on their muzzles.

"Great work baby!" Twilight exclaimed proudly as well as planting a light kiss on his forehead.

"That's my son!" Thorax said proudly.

"Thank you daddy, thank you mommy." Alistair said with a smile.

After that, Thorax and Twilight both resumed their trick or treating adventure in Ponyville with their son.

At the other side of Ponyville, Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax were seen walking down the town of Ponyville while looking at all of the spooky decorations around them, and the decorations have flabbergasted them completely.

"Oh wow, this is cool." Viper said with an astonished expression.

"Indeed Viper." Twirax agreed with a nod.

The four hybrids were about to go forward again but, some noises behind them stopped them.

"Huh?"

The four hybrids turned around to look at the source of the sound. And when they did, they saw a ghost in front of them.

"Woooooo!"

"Ahhhhh!" Screamed the four hybrids.

The spooky sound of the ghost soon turned into laughter, and the ghost started to shake as well, and the sight made the four hybrids very bewildered. They all looked up and saw Discord on top in front of them with string holders in his claws.

"Really dad?" Screwball asked indignantly.

"What Screwy?" Discord asked while still laughing "This is what Nightmare night is about!" He exclaimed with a wide smile.

"Well you nearly scared us to death!" Twirax exclaimed with a vexed expression.

"Yeah!" Viper agreed with an angry expression "You could've given us a heart attack!" She told him.

"Agreed." Precious said with a nod.

"Well sorry this is just the Halloween way." Discord told them "And if you four are scared, why not-"

Discord was immediately cut off when the four hybrids looked up at him with confident expressions.

"Scared? What do you mean scared?" Twirax asked with a raise of her eyebrow "We are brave hybrids who fear nothing!" She exclaimed confidently.

"Yeah!" Viper, Screwball and Precious said in unison.

"Oh really?" Discord asked with an incredulous expression, and the four hybrids nodded "Well why not prove it at the attraction over there?" Discord pointed behind them.

The four hybrids all turned around and saw what looks to be like a large maze with petrifying textures installed in the centre of Ponyville.

"Whoa, that must be that new attraction my mom and dad were talking about back at home." Twirax sais with a nonplus expression.

"Really? Cool." Viper said, then she changed the subject and looked back at Discord "Okay then, we'll do it uncle Discord, we'll show you how brave we are." She told him confidently.

"Yeah!" Twirax, Screwball and Precious nodded in agreement.

"Be my guest." Discord chuckled.

After that, the four hybrids all turned around and ran to the maze attraction.

Thorax, Twilight and Alistair were casually strolling through Ponyville peacefully, and Alistair had a warm smile on his muzzle because, his nightmare night basket is now full of chocolate and candies.

"I love nightmare night!" Alistair said contentedly.

"I'm glad you do honey." Twilight said with a warm smile "Mommy loved nightmare night when I was a young filly, I got pranked a lot when I did trick or treating." She told him with a humiliated chuckle. And Alistair couldn't help but chuckle back at that hilarious statement.

The changeling and friendship King, Queen and Prince were about to head to another place but then, something has caught Thorax's attention.

"Huh? What is that?" Thorax said in a perplexed tone.

"What is what Thory?" Twilight asked looking up at her husband.

"Over there baby." Thorax replied pointing at her left.

Twilight cocked her head to her left and saw what looks to be a maze attraction in the centre of Ponyville. The maze had spooky nightmare night concept textures around it as well as two stallions standing at the entrance while wearing bat costumes.

"Oh, that must be the nightmare night attraction." Twilight replied with a wide eyes.

"Really?" Thorax asked, he looked at the maze and noticed that it was the attraction he saw before on a poster "Oh it is!" He exclaimed in realization.

"Can we check it please?" Alistair asked politely.

"Of course we can honey." Twilight replied with a nod.

After that, Thorax, Twilight and Alistair all walked up towards the maze attraction.

Five seconds later, Throax, Twilight and Alistair all arrived at the front of the maze, and the three were flabbergasted by its spooky texture and designs.

"Wow, this is just spooky." Twilight commented.

"Agreed." Throax said with a nod "The designs are just petrifying." He commented while scrutinizing the attraction.

"This looks stupendous and fun to go into." Alistair commented with an astonished expression.

After scrutinizing the cool maze for ten seconds, Thorax, Twilight and Alistair heard the sounds of running coming towards them on their right. The three of them cocked their heads to their right and saw Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax standing there.

"Twirax!" Alistair said with a smile.

"Hello there Alistair." Twirax said with a warm smile towards her little brother. She then looked down and took notice of his Halloween basket which is full of sweets "Oh wow, I see that your trick or treating journey with mom and dad was merriment." She assumed.

"Indeed it was."

"So, what beings you four here?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, we just took notice of the attraction and decided to come here." Viper replied "And by the looks of it, the attraction seems fun." She said looking at the maze.

"Indeed it does." Said Thorax.

"Alright cut the chatter." Precious told them "Lets have some fun!" She exclaimed.

After that, Thorax, Twilight and the five hybrids all walked up to the front entrance of the maze.

Five seconds later, all do them have arrived at the front entrance of the maze, and they were greeted by the two stallions in bat costumes who bowed when they saw their King and Queen.

"Greetings my subjects." Thorax and Twilight said in unison with smiles on their muzzles.

"Greetings King Thorax and Twilight." The stallion on the right greeted "What can we do for you?" He asked.

"Our daughter, son and their friends would like to go into this maze attraction to have some fun." Thorax replied.

"Oh we can do that." The stallion said, then he lifted up the red coloured rope barrier of the stanchion.

"Have fun you all." Twilight said.

After that, the five hybrids all entered the maze and the stallion pulled down the rope barrier and connected it with the stanchion.

While in the maze, Alistair, Twirax, Viper, Screwball and Precious could see that the front of the maze was deserted, probably because that this is the prologue and starting point of the maze.

"Okay, so the rules at the poster states that we need to walk through the maze and make it to the exit." Viper stated while shivering a little, but she managed to hold her fear in.

"Then let's go." Twirax said confidently.

Then the five hybrids all entered the maze. After walking for ten seconds, they encountered a split section. And that made them stop in their tracks.

"Okay, so where to?" Precious asked looking left and right.

The five hybrids began deciding which path they should take to get out of this maze. After ten seconds, Alistair broke the silence.

"Lets take the left." Alistair said "I saw on the poster that the left part is the quickest way to get us to the exit." He told them.

"Oh Alistair, that poster could be lying." Twirax told him "Lets take the right." She suggested.

"Okay then." Said Viper.

Then, Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax all took the right path leaving Alistair standing there with his jaw dropping in disbelief.

"But guys we-"

Alistair tried to call them but it was too late, they have already taken the right path which was the long was out of the maze.

"Why does none of them listen to me?" Alistair asked rolling his eyes in aggravation "I guess I'll have to take the right side as well." He sighed. After that, Alistair followed them.

While in the maze, Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax were strolling through the maze corridor in an agitated manner because of the creepy textures.

"This is a bit scary." Said Screwball.

"Agreed."

"Oh come on girls, we are tough hybrid's, we can't be scared of anythi-"

Viper was immediately cut off when a fake skeleton pony statue appeared out of nowhere and spooked them.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Screamed the hybrids. Then, they all lied on the ground trembling in fear.

Alistair looked at his big sister And friends with an incredulous and perplexed mixed expression because, that is just a skeleton decoration.

"Uh guys, that skeleton is not real." Alistair told them.

When the hybrids heard Alistair, they all looked back to their left and noticed that the skeleton was fake.

"Oh right, that's a fake skeleton." Twirax said standing back up.

"Yeah, we knew that." Screwball said with an anxious chuckle.

"Yeah." Viper agreed with a nod "Lets continue." She told them.

Then, Viper, Screwball, Precious, Twirax and Alistair all moved forward again to explore and escape this scary maze. But, as they made a right turn ahead, they noticed a lot of scary obstacles and decorations in front of them. The sight has petrified them. But, Viper was confident.

"Come on girls, we can do this right?" Viper asked anxiously.

"Y-yeah we can." Said Screwball.

"Th-then let's go!" Twirax exclaimed.

After that, Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax all charged forward to get past the obstacles. When they got to them, the obstacles immediately let or some loud and scary sound effects. And that immediately made the four hybrids cease in their tracks and scream fearfully.

"Ahh! We can't do this!"

Alistair was looking at all of this with an incredulous and bewildered mixed expression. He couldn't believe that his big sister and friends could be startled and scared of something like these. Those things are fake after all. After a second, Alistair pulled out his mixtape player that he received from his parents on his third years old birthday. He placed his headphones on his head and the ear cushion pads covered his ears. After that, he inserted his mixtape in and a song started to play. Then, he started to sing.

Alistair: I wake up, in the morning. Wide awake, for the day. And I say, "what a morning!" La la la la la!

Alistair immediately ceased his singing and movement when he saw his big sister Twirax collapsing on the ground in front of him with a fake spider on her face.

"Ahhhh! A spider!" Screamed Twirax.

Alistair scrutinized the situation in front of him with an incredulous expression. After five seconds, Alistair let out a shrug and spread his wings. Then, he hovered up and flew gracefully past his panicking sister.

Alistair: Everything is awesome. Everything is cool when you're part of the team. Everything is awesome, when you're living out a dream. Living out a dream. (Everything, everything is awesome).

Alistair was singing in a merriment and exuberant manner while avoiding all of the petrifying obstacles in the maze like the skeletons, zombies, scarecrow, pony manniquens with pumpkin faces and many more. He also got past his panicking friends as well.

Alistair: Everything, is awesome (Everything is awesome). Everything, is awesome... AWESOME!

"This song never gets old!" Alistair said with a wide smile.

Alistair: Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're part of the team. Everything is awesome, when you're living out a dream. Everything is awesome. (Everything, everything is awesome).

Alistair then felt no more scary presence near him with his instincts, and that made him perplexed. He turned around and saw that the obstacles were behind him with Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax still panicking around the fake stuffs. He then looked forward and saw the exit of the maze.

"Looks like I made it first." Alistair said with a nonplus expression. Then, a smile appeared on his muzzle "Haha! Awesome!" He exclaimed contentedly. Then, he turned around and rushed to the exit.

Alistair: Everything is awesome!

After Alistair has finished singing his wonderful and happy song. He took off his headphones with his magic and teleported it, his mixtape and mixtape player with his magic back home.

Thorax and Twilight has been waiting by the exit of the haunted maze attraction for two minutes now.

"What's taking them so long?" Twilight asked getting a little worried.

"I don't know." Thorax said with a shrug "This maze is suppost to be-"

And on cue, Thorax and Twilight both heard sounds of hoof running noises coming towards them. They both looked at the narrow maze passage and saw their son Alistair running to them.

"Alistair!" Twilight exclaimed as she extended her hooves out.

Alistair then launched himself forward and landed on his mother's hooves. And Twilight planted a light kiss on her son's forehead.

"Welcome back honey!" Twilight said "Where is your big sister and friends?" She asked.

And on cue, Thorax an Twilight both heard screaming noises in the maze. They both looked in front of them and saw Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax exiting the maze with ruined hair as well as breathing heavily.

"Lets not do that again." Viper said catching her breath, and her friends nodded.

The sight has perplexed Thorax and Twilight.

"What happened to you three?" Thorax asked.

When Viper, Screwball, Precious and Twirax heard Thorax's inquiry, they froze in place because, they don't know how to delineate, and there is no point in lying because of the obvious expressions on their faces.

"Uh..."

But, before either of them could talk, some tumoltuous noises were heard. All of them looked forward to the source of the noises and saw a large dancing area with a large DJ booth in front of the dancing area. And the DJ booth had Vinyl Scratch, Starlight, Shining Armor and Pinkie on it.

"Oh! That must be the nightmare night dance area!" Screwball exclaimed.

Twirax then noticed that this was a good chance to change the subject.

"Then let's go!" She said.

Viper, Screwball and Precious nodded in unison and rushed to the dancing area.

"Come on Thorax, let's go too!"

"Sure Twinkle's!"

After that, Thorax and Twilight ran to the dancing area with Alistair in Twilight's hooves.
