My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

Luster Dawn's Journal: Entry Number 0 -Catch Up

Hi, my name is Luster Dawn. Allow me to bring everyone up to speed on what's happened in my life up to this point so no one is confused.

A few years ago, I was born as the daughter of Sunburst and Starlight Glimmer and didn't really care about making friends. But now? Now I couldn't imagine life any other way. Sure, I was friends with another pony (a young colt) named Molson, but I had a Kirin friend named Summer Breeze, a Griffon friend named Kale, a yak friend named Namu, and a changeling friend named Chitin. The six of us thought nothing could challenge our friendship.

Well remember how before the Battle of the Bell the lord of chaos Discord impersonated the ancient tyrant known as Grogar? Well the real one showed up shortly after I was getting along with my friends. The King of Monsters then proceded to team up with Sombra and start mind controlling a few people with some red gem. But together with my new friends and some help with the Young Six as they were referred to, we destroyed the Red Gem and made Grogar flee, but he wasn't done there.

About a month later, Grogar came back, this time with a whole new hord of monsters and he had his bell once more. He then used the power of his bell to bring Cozy Glow, Tirek, and Chrysalis back from stone for round three. At least, that was his plan. Ironically, the later two decided not to take sides, not wanting to aid in Twilight's victory but didn't want to be turned back to stone. As for Cozy Glow however, she decided that while she wouldn't like helping Twilight, she decided that after this, she would at least try things Twilight's way. However, as me and my friends fought Grogar despite our differences, Cozy Glow's heart changed. She no longer saw Friendship as the power tool she thought it was. Through us, she saw the bonds we had formed in such a short time, and decided she was willing to help. Thanks to her, Grogar was defeated once and for all alongside the new monsters he had created.

Tirek left shortly after; deciding to at least seek out his brother if nothing else. Only afterwards would he decide what he would do. As for Chrysalis...well she decided that she would try making a new hive on her own. No one has heard from her since then. But as for Cozy Glow? Because her parents were long dead at this point, she opted to stay with Twilight at Canterlot and try things Twilight's way. She did help, if nothing else so everyone was willing to let her have a chance.

A few weeks ago though, during one of the visits from Princess Twilight, she was given a package to deliver to Cozy Glow in regards to her mother. I was told through letters (and yes, Cozy Glow and I are pen pals. She decided that at the very least to learn from my experiences as I wrote Twilight letters) that inside was a single blue jewel fashioned into a necklace. In the attached letter, Cozy Glow was told that her mom received the necklace and was told that it came from an angel. Now, in the wake of her actually being pardoned, she was given the necklace. Cozy Glow has even told me something strange: Anytime Cozy Glow forms a bound with someone, the necklace is lit with a mysterious blue light and with a small bit of energy, gives a temporary link between Cozy Glow and the new person. Cozy Glow suddenly became super popular after this, and she was loving it. She was just being herself without being manipulative. She was finally embracing Friendship.

And then he came...

The Devil came. He came without warning.

And he was not going down without a fight.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. That's for another time.
