Author's Note

While this is a Luster Dawn chapter, this entire chapter is told in first person from Luster Dawn's point of view. It recalls events that happen just before the events of "Demon Devil". This is a bit of a shorter chapter, but hey, I wasn't really sure what else I could relate to Robo's story without causing spoilers for future chapters.

Season 1, Episode 12: Robo's Origins

Hi. It's me Luster Dawn again.

So I told everyone last time that I'd explain what Robo was all about.

When it came around, Robo was this massive robot that could change it's shape. And it had shown up just before Astrotle Mondoli showed up. After the robot had spotted Applejack, it had shifted into the form of an Earth Pony. But what really startled us was that it was created long before the real grogar had first appeared. Essentially, this robot was created long before anyone else really was alive.

However, it quickly realize that because it's primary mission was impossible now; which was to capture and contain a certain creature; it decided to gather data about our world instead.

After informing Princess Twilight of Robo's appearance, I managed to give Robo a quick glance into the various species of New Equestria with help from my friends. Eventually, Princess Twilight had teleported herself to the Castle of Friendship where Robo annalized her. Robo could sense that Princess Twilight was a descendent of Robo's creator.

As a result of this, Twilight gave Robo new orders: Learn everything it can about the new world the robot had found itself in, and along the way, learn as much as it can about friendship.

Thus, to better serve this purpose, Robo has been assigned as my assistant. Over the course of a few days though, Robo could tell that Fluttershy; one of Twilight's friends; had failing life signals. Remember, this was before she had passed on in peace. With Robo's help, Fluttershy and Screwball were able to get some new employees for the animal santurary so it could run once Fluttershy had passed on.

Robo's apperence did not go unnoticed by Diamond Tiara's mother, Spoiled Rich, however. Thus after the whole mess of Astrotle Mondoli and just shortly after the CMC started staying at the Castle of Friendship, Spoiled Rich decided to check out Robo, but because Diamond Tiara hates her mother, Robo sometimes will kick Spoiled Rich out of the castle if she starts causing trouble. And let's just say that Spoiled Rich tends to cause a lot of trouble.

Once the mirror was up and the rules were in place though, Spoiled Rich has gone from causing trouble, to actually managing the thing so that on days I spend away from the castle until nightfall, the mirror can be monitered and managed. Which has given Spoiled Rich a reason to stay at the castle now. Though she is required to sleep in a different hallway then the CMC so that tensions aren't raised. Besides, there are times when the CMC are also out for a day doing their job or in the case of Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom sometimes, going out on a date.

But yeah, I hope this clears up a lot regarding Robo. The only other thing I can think up to note is that the robot seems to identify itself as both genders for now. I do hope it decides on a gender at some point.
