Despite this being a Cozy Glow chapter, this will not be a first person P.O.V. chapter like the others have been.

Season 1, Episode 23: A New Cozy Friend

A new stallion was spotted in Ponyville recent, and when someone new is spotted, all of Ponyville is suddenly informed of thanks to one pink party pony.

"'You are invited to the party for the mysterious new stallion at his home on 12th street. You can bring any friends you have with you and as many as you want too; everyone should welcome this new addition to the town with a smile. From Pinkie Pie.'" Cozy Glow Read from a letter handed to her from the pink earth pony in question. "...You mean...you want me to come?" Cozy Glow asked Pinkie Pie.

"I think it'll be a great opportunity to show everyone once and for all you ain't the same Cozy Glow from long ago. If you can hit it off with the new guy well and become his friend, then no one will ever judge you for who you used to be, Cozy." Pinkie Pie said. Cozy Glow couldn't help but hug the pink party mare.

"That new stallion is going to be my friend by the end of the party; I can feel it. I just have to be myself." Cozy Glow said. "No lying, no manipulating, and no hiding." She added.

"That's the spirit Cozy. I wish I could join you, but I already had plans with the CMC today. Besides, I think it's best that you do this on your own with something besides friends." Luster Dawn said, looking towards the Changeling mother and daughter.

"...Family...yeah, that sounds neat." Cozy Glow said before flying up to her aunt and cousin. "Hey Chrysalis and Chrystalis, your coming with me to the party." Cozy Glow said.

"Ooooo~ Can we mother? Can we please?" Chrystalis asked, excited. Chrysalis smiled.

"So long as you promise to be on your best behavior there. Guests or not, a Changeling princess must always be on her best behavior." Chrysalis said.

"Don't worry mom, I promise one hundred percent." Chrystalis said. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." She added doing the motions for a Pinkie Pie Promise. Chrysalis couldn't help but chuckle at the gesture.

"They can come right Pinkie Pie? Their family...sort of." Cozy Gow said to Pinkie Pie. "...It's Complicated." she added.

"It's complicated because your father is a changeling whose disguised himself as a relator for your mother's house and now your connecting with his side of the family from your biological composition?" Pinkie Pie said.

"...Yeah...that's right...how'd you find that out?" Cozy Glow asked.

"Just a hunch." Pinkie Pie said. Cozy Glow rolled her eyes.

"I don't think I'll ever fully understand you, Pinkie Pie..." Cozy Glow said.

"When someone actually fully understands Pinkie Pie will make that someone the most unusual pony in history." Luster said.

The party for the new arrival in Ponyville was underway, and if there's one thing everyone in Ponyville can admit to, it's that Pinkie Pie throws quite the show of a party for when she throws a party. For the most part, the stallion in question seemed reserved; he's trying to be social but is struggling a lot it seems. Cozy Glow took notice of this and decided to take him into another room.

"I'm guessing your not used to so many different ponies wanting to chat with you, huh?" Cozy Glow asked the stallion.

"You could say that. This is the first social event I've ever really been to." The Stallion said.

"At least your trying." Cozy Glow said, deciding to land in front of the new face.

"Not hard enough. I go by the name of 'Saint Prophecy'." The stallion said.

"My name is Cozy Glow, though if you were to ask anyone but me about well...me...you'd probably be told to stay away. Far away." Cozy Glow said.

"Oh? Why's that?" Saint Prophecy asked.

"Let's just say I've done some really, really bad things in my life and everyone judges me for them even though I'm doing my best to change." Cozy Glow admitted.

"Then maybe it's best I hear about what you've done in the past from you, so that my opinion of your change is unbiased." Saint Prophecy said.

"Well...okay...but let me warn you up front, it's a doozy..." Cozy Glow said.

"...And now I'm here, with you, detailing everything in my life up until now." Cozy Glow said. The duo had rejoined the party at a certain point and everyone was actually starting to relax around her after seeing her talk with the new guy.

"Indeed you are...indeed you are..." Saint Prophecy said. "I know how it feels to be judged by your past; I've made a few predictions that have mysteriously come true later. I don't even cause them, but people blame me anyways." He explained.

"Well I won't blame you for any predictions you make that will come true later, as I think prophecies are more of a warning to others." Cozy Glow said. Saint Prophecy smiled at this.

"Well...as we were talking, I managed to come up with a prediction regarding you, Cozy Glow." Saint Prophecy said.

"Really? Well, that sounds interesting." Cozy Glow said. "I'll hear it out." She added.

"Be careful of who you grow close to; for I see someone that you think will be your friend for life betraying you in the not so distant future and your world comes crashing down around you." Saint Prophecy said.

"...What kind of Prophecy is that? There's not a single way my world will come crashing down around me." Cozy Glow said.

"What makes you doubt my prediction?" Saint Prophecy asked.

"I can't really tell you...but just know I have a really big reason." Cozy Glow said.

"I suppose we will see who is right, and who is wrong in the end then, huh?" Saint Prophecy asked.

"Indeed." Cozy Glow said.
