And now back to our usual first person P.O.V. Cozy Glow chapter.

Season 1, Episode 24: A Glowing Friendship

That Saint Prophecy is such a kidder. There isn't a single way my world is gonna fall apart because I spend time making friends. And that's what I've been doing in Ponyville. Funny enough, reaching out to Saint Prophecy has actually lead all of Ponyville to want to be my friends too. During the course of the first week of getting to know Saint Prophecy, I've had several ponies come up to me and I just do some greetings, clear the air, and we have a laugh about something or another. It's as simple as I click, they click, we both click, and then my necklace does that spirit chain thing.

"Hmm?" Saint Prophecy has noticed this after a while. "Excuse me, Cozy Glow but...what's with the necklace?" He asked.

"Oh this thing? Something my mother left me." I answered. "It's been helping me connect with ponies, and that spirit chain is something that forms from it whenever I make a new friend." I added.

"Oh...that's...interesting. Does your mother know where she got it from?" Saint Prophecy asked.

"All she told me in her letter was that it was given to her by an angel. I doubt she meant that literally, but it was more then likely just a very wealthy mare she made friends with who gave her the necklace as a sign of their friendship. Or something like that. After all, there's no such thing as a literal angel." I explained.

"I guess that seems possible. I'm sorry...I just feel like that necklace is a crutch for you." Saint Prophecy said.

"It's not a crutch. My mother told me in her letter that it helped her makes loads of friends and wished for me to do the same with it. So if it can help me make friends, and that's kind of what I've been trying to do genially since I started my reformation. I still think Friendship is steeped in power, but I'm starting to feel like there's magic behind Friendship too. Don't ask me why I feel that way, I just do now. Plus, people actually like me when I'm not putting up a mask or being evil." Cozy Glow said.

"For someone who was stated to go evil twice...I find it hard to believe you would just...stop being evil." Saint Prophecy said.

"I almost went back at one point. Yeah. I'm not afraid to admit it. When I started out, I didn't even have my necklace. I tried to make friends in Canterlot but none of the ponies would have me. This went on for almost three days. But one afternoon, this one stallion finally decided to become friends with me, and my hope was restored. If he didn't reach out to me...I don't think I would've given genuine friendship a chance." I revealed. "Thanks to him, I got my first real friend, my brand new necklace, and have been making friends ever since." I added, smiling.

"If you don't need the necklace to make friends, then you could stop wearing it." Saint Prophecy said.

"I could, but this was my mom's. I may not have had the best relationship with my bio mom, but wearing it makes me feel like she'll be with me even if she's no longer amongst the living." I said.

"Family is weird..." Saint Prophecy said.

"Mine is the weirdest. C'mon...there's two relatives of mine I'd like you to meet." I said.

I headed back to my Aunt Chrystalis and my cousin Chrystalis with Saint Prophecy from there, and introduced him to my bio father's side of the family. Though when he saw them...

"Changelings? You wanted me to meet changelings?" Saint Prophecy said. "I thought you said I was meeting with two relatives of yours." He said.

"They are. It's complicated. Believe it or not, I'm biologically half-changeling. So by proxy, they are my aunt and cousin respectfully." I said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Chrysalis said.

"It most certainly is!" Chrystalis said, and started shaking a hoof of Saint Prophecy. "Hi, I'm Chrystalis and this is my mom Chrysalis. Yeah she's totally reformed now because she understands the love of family." The changeling princess stated.

"I repeat what I said before: Family is weird..." Saint Prophecy said.

"Well mine's the weirdest. Who would've thought I would be related to the former queen of changelings Chrysalis herself? Certainly not me." I said.

"It's more so strange then it is weird. Believe me, half-bloods might become common some day if what I'm seeing is any indication." Saint Prophecy said. Chrystalis returned to her mother's side. "...Drat...I need to go pick up something. See you." Saint Prophecy said and left.

"Cozy Glow...be careful around him..." Chrystalis said.

"Huh? What's wrong?" Chrysalis asked.

"When I was touching him I felt something evil...something rotten. But it didn't feel right with how friendly he was being towards us." Chrystalis said. "Just be careful okay? If he turns evil, I don't wanna see you get hurt." She added.

"If he turns evil, I might be able to make him stop being evil." I said. "I'm his friend, and friends do that sort of things with each other, right?" I asked.

"I guess...Twilight did stop Starlight from being evil once upon a time." Chrysalis said.

"Don't bring it up around her; soar subject." I said.

"Believe me, I know." Chrysalis said. "After all, your past is one too." She added.

"Don't remind me..." I said.

All and all, very weird first week. During that time I did make friends with the young six and they even let me into their special treehouse from time to time. I never thought I'd say this but...I love making friends the natural way! And I can't wait to see what friends I make next!
