Author's Note

Cozy Glow chapter. You all know what that means at this point. A bit of a shorter chapter here too, but hey, I think it's very uplifting.

Season 1, Episode 25: A Glow's Worry

"He said that?" Apple Buck asked me.

"Yeah. Admittedly I don't know what he meant when he said my world would crumble around me at first but I'm starting to think he means the friendships I've made." I said.

"Sounds more like he's super jealous of how many friends you've made." Sweetie Belle said. Button Mash and Rumble were with us today; one was Sweetie Belle's boyfriend while the other has been going steady with Scootaloo.

"But what if he's right? What if someone who I think is my friends betrays me? What if that is my trigger and makes me become evil again?" I asked, worried.

"So what? If one friend betrays you, you'll still have your other friends to back you up." Buttom Mash said.

"But what if that betrayal makes me think all my friends could betray me and I could no longer trust anyone I see?" I asked.

"Cozy Glow...I understand your worried about someone betraying you, but if someone betrays your trust then they were never your friend to begin with. You betrayed our trust with the friendship test thing, but you made it right in the end by telling the truth. And once you betrayed everyone, even then we were hesitant but...we really hoped...we really believe you could make a change to yourself back then. And now is no different." Scootaloo said. "You have yet to betray us, so we have every reason to trust you. And you trust us." She added.

"And I will tell one thing: There's no way a single one of the girls is gonna betray your trust just because you've done it to them twice." Rumble Said. "That's kind of their thing." He added. Silver Spoon nodded.

"And if one of your other friends betrays you, we promise to be right there to support you and remind you that there are those you can trust over the one that broke your trust. We're your friends too, and we won't betray your trust so long as you don't betray ours ever again." Silver Spoon said. I couldn't help but start to cry.

"Golly...that's...that's the sweetiest thing for you to say." I said. I felt all warm inside now. I liked that feeling.

"Plus if someone DOES betray your trust, you can bet I'll be there to give them a piece of my mind." Diamond Tiara said.

"Just like you did your mother?" Apple Buck asked. Diamond Tiara nodded.

"Just like I did my mother, yeah." DT said, smiling.

"Well I'm glad that you girls are so confident in that endeavor." I said. "If...if someone does betray my trust...I want to give you my express permission to pep talk me into believing that it was a one time thing." I added.

"Now I'm not going to say friendships can't always be challenged, but true friends will get past fighting with each other from time to time. And we've patched things up now so..." Sweetie Belle said.

"So, this is proof that our friendship has become stronger. And we will be there to support you until the end." Scootaloo said.

"Thanks girls." I said with a smile. I felt content that no matter what, everything will be just fine.
