Luster Dawn's Journal: Entry Number Seventeen - Return of the Demon Devil

We really should have seen this coming...

Ponyville - Town Square

It was a perfectly normal day in Ponyville, when suddenly Rainbow Dash yelled out "INCOMING ENEMIES!" and soon a whole bunch of strange featureless creatures started to over-run the town. The wonderbolts got right on it, as well as Luster and her mother Starlight helping as many of the friendly creatures get into the castle of Friendship including Luster's friends, Cozy's father (though they didn't know it was his father at that point), and were even joined by Chrysalis in the defense who made sure her daughter Chrystalis also managed to make it inside. About a half-hour later of securing as many creatures as they could to the castle, the castle was filling up.

"I'm not sure how many more creatures we can fit into the castle." Starlight said.

"Then mom, you and Chrysalis start getting some into the School of Friendship." Luster said as Throax and a few other leaders showed up.

"We're here to help." Thorax said.

"We could use the help. These strange things just came out of nowhere!" Chrysalis said. "We need to get as many of our various subjects into the school for shelter as possible." She added.

"It's a safe as place as any." The Griffon leader said.

"Agreed." The Yak leader said. The young six arrived as well.

"There's a treehouse in the everfree forest some of the others can use for shelter too, don't forget." Ocellus spoke up.

"Right. That place where Silverstream went that one time." Queen Nova said. "I wonder how safe that place is, being in the forest and all." She added.

"It seems none of these strange creatures can touch it without going casplat." Smolder said. One of the featureless creatures suddenly touched the castle of friendship before suddenly shrieking and then vanishing in a poof. "...Basically just like that." Smolder added.

"Then we'll have to protect the ones who get sent to the school." Ember said.

"Kind of have a bunch of mysterious enemies out and about here..." Gallus stated.

"He's not wrong you know..." Starlight said. The leaders nodded in agreement. If there was one thing they could agree on, right now was basically code red. Eventually, the leaders plus starlight started getting creatures to the school while the young six helped give some creatures a path into the forest so they could head to the treehouse.

Castle of Frienship - Map Room

Inside, Luster Dawn sat down with her friends as well as the CMC.

"Phew...at least this place will give us a quiet location to think in." Luster Dawn said. Apple Buck was looking around though.

"Hand on a second...where's Cozy Glow?" Apple Buck asked. That's when everyone realized she wasn't here.

"Hold up..." Luster Dawn used a magic spell to suddenly start communications with Starlight and Gallus. "Hey, is Cozy Glow with either of you two?" Luster Dawn asked.

"She is most certainly not at the school." Starlight said.

"Not at the clubhouse either." Gallus said.

"Then she must be out somewhere. But where?" Luster Dawn asked.

"Well she has been palling around with that Saint Prophecy guy." Sweetie Belle brought up.

"Right! Of course! Her newest friend. She probably went to make sure he was alright as soon as this whole mess started." Scootaloo said.

"That makes sense when you really think about it." Silver Spoon said. Diamond Tiara however, did not look pleased.

"...Something wrong Deets?" Apple Buck asked.

"Promise none of you will get mad?" Diamond Tiara asked. We all nodded. Spoiled Rich was in the room as well. "Well...the day after Cozy Glow made friends with Saint Prophecy, I approached him and tried making friends with him, but as soon as he started talking I could tell he was faking it." Diamond Tiara said.

"Faking it? Faking what?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Faking being nice to be exact I bet. Diamond Tiara would be able to spot that sort of con a mile away." Scootaloo said. "For once, Spoiled Rich's teachings might just save us." She added.

"Well I did make sure my daughter knew the art of acting. After all, in high society, it can be...difficult...to know when someone might take advantage of you if your out of the loop." Spoiled Rich said. "So teaching my daughter about various tells was one of the first things I taught her when she was old enough." She added.

"Well teaching Diamond Tiara that may have just saved Equestria. If Diamond Tiara is correct; and I feel in my heart she is; then Saint Prophecy is the one behind this, meaning he was using Cozy Glow and; in a roundabout way; said that he was to her face!" Silver Spoon said. Luster Dawn gasped.

"The prophecy Saint Prophecy made up...that's what you mean, right?" Luster Dawn asked. Silver Spoon nodded. "Then maybe we're not too late; we need to find Cozy Glow and tell her about this. We'll most likely need to pep talk her, but we can do it. Together." Luster Dawn said.

"Yeah, let's do this!" Molson said. "No one messes with our friend like that."

"I would say that using someone like that isn't very kind at all; and if needed, I will show Saint Prophecy some manners and shift into a Nirik." Summer Breeze said.

"And I have a feeling this is no laughing matter either." Kale said.

"Cozy Glow has been very generous towards us by allowing us to grow close to her; Saint Prophecy is attempting to turn Cozy Glow against us which we will make sure doesn't happen." Namu said.

"Not to mention Saint Prophecy broke Cozy Glow's trust, thus making him not very honest at all." Chitin said.

"Allright everyone, let's find Cozy Glow." Luster Dawn said and spearheaded the gang to where Cozy Glow was. They found her and the Demon Devil Astrotle Mondoli. As they approuched, the demon devil was giving some speech about how Cozy Glow could never be trusted again.

"THAT'S WHERE YOUR WRONG, ASTROTLE MONDOLI!" Luster Dawn yelled out.
