My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

What is going on? One moment, everything was fine, and then a bunch of creatures bent on harming others appeared. I fled the Castle of Friendship as soon as this whole thing started and went to find Saint Prophecy. I wanted to make sure my newest friend was safe. That was the plan, but I found him to be the source of these creatures.

"Saint Prophecy; your the one behind this mess?!" I exclaimed.

"My name isn't Saint Prophecy. That was just a cover..." Saint prophecy said before suddenly dark magic evoloped him and he became the Devil Demon...

"ASTROTLE MONDOLI; YOU WERE SAINT PROPHECY THE WHOLE TIME?!" I yelled; realizing that I had been played.

"How does it feel, mortal? You were manipulated. Used even. And now you've served your purpose. Soon, a lot of mortals will be killed, and because you associated with me, you will never be trusted ever again. You'll be all alone." Astrotle Mondoli said.

"THAT'S WHERE YOUR WRONG ASTROTLE MONDOLI!" It was Luster Dawn and she was with all my Ponyville friends. "You may have played Cozy Glow like a fiddle, but she's never done what you did to her ever since she started making real friends. Friends who will stick by her no matter what!" Luster Dawn said.

"Luster..." I said.

"AND SHE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE." It was Twilight now. She was with my canterlot friends. "All of these creatures from Canterlot are behind her as well." Twilight said.

"But...I don't understand...mortals like you all should be blamming her for all of this mess, not forgiving her at the drop of a hat!" Astrotle Mondoli yelled out. "A spell...that's it...it must be a spell!" He said in denail.

"Spells are powerful things, that much is true..." Luster Dawn said. "But there is no such magical spell on any of us. Just the ties that bind us. This is what real friendship is, Astrotle Mondoli: The ability to support one another, and grow closer together, is the true nature of the magic of friendship!" Luster Dawn said.

As soon as Luster Dawn said that...

My entire belief about friendship being a power tool...

What I thought I knew about friendship up to this point in my life...

It shattered.

My world came crumbling down.

Wait...

"...Astrotle Mondoli..." I said. "You said to me that when someone I thought I was friends with betrayed me, my world would come crumbling down." I added. I started to beat my wings, taking a higher position in the air. "Well believe it or not, you were right. My world did come crumbling down. Just not the way I think you meant it would. Ever since I was just three years old, I believed Friendship to be a tool for power what with there being a princess of friendship and all. So everything evil I did, I did because I wanted to have more friends then anyone else. But now? After seeing all my friends rally to pep talk me, hearing Luster's words, and seeing everyone here supporting me, I realize that I couldn't have been more wrong." I said. Suddenly my necklace glowed very brightly. Out of nowhere the broken elements of harmony appeared and started swirling around Luster Dawn and her five friends.

"The elements of harmony are reacting to them?" Twilight questioned. "But...their destroyed." She said. I realized what this meant.

"...The elements were never truely destroyed..." I said before noticing the broken elements reshaping themselves. "...they just needed a little...power boost." I added with a smile as each element found itself reshaped. For Luster and Molson, the elements became just like their cutie marks. But for the others, each one shifted into becoming a part of their species' biology. For Summer Breeze, it was a pair of antlers. For Kale, a griffon's beak. For Namu, it was a single horn. And for Chitin it was a changeling's wing.

"This...can't be happening...how could a group of creatures so different, so unique, and so unlike one another really truly and positively be friends like the six of them?!" Astrotle Mondoli exclaimed in fear.

"It's simple: Because that's the reality about friendship. It's not a tool for power, and it's not some spell you can pick up and cast on day one. Twilight was right all along, I realize that now. I was wrong about what friendship was, and my friends have shown me the light." I explained. "And in case I'm not making it clear, let me be blunt..." I said just as Luster and her friends started to float, powered by the reformed elements of harmony. "FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!" I shouted out just as Astrotle Mondoli was blasted by the friendship laser, as I like to call it.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Astrotle Mondoli yelled as he was turned to dust.

I lowered myself to the ground, and headed towards Luster. "...Thank you...all of you." I said.

Finally I've seen the light. I've seen friendship for what it really is.

And this is only the beginning of my studies around friendship.

One might even say...

That this is the Dawn of Friendship.
