Cozy Glow's P.O.V.

"Thanks for the tea, Tempest." I said to Tempest Shadows as I left for Ponyville. A smile graced my face as I flew off from Canterlot to Ponyville. Today was going to be a family and friends day at Ponyville. I must say that getting to know my father after so long of not knowing who he was is nice. Cousin Chrystalis says bonding with my father may have become the reason that I've become so open to others. Honestly, that might be part of it. But I think my friend; Luster Dawn; would have a thing or two to say in regards to that.

I like to think that while meeting and getting to know my father has had an impact in my change of heart, Luster Dawn and her friends showed me what true friendship can look like as they stood up to Astrotle Mondoli. When they did that, I found that my old belief regarding friendship was wrong. And for once, I couldn't be more glad that I was wrong. Friendship is about the ties that bind us all together and gives us the ability to support others through the worst moments of life. It's not like a spell you can pick up and cast on day one; no it takes work to build true friendship. And for once, I'm thankful for the work.

In the couple of weeks since Astrotle Mondoli's defeat, whenever I'm not at the castle with Twilight or Tempest, I'm over in Ponyville tracking down the Young Six and making amends with them. Same thing with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I honestly can't wait to see their children. No doubt their children will become the next generation of the CMC. Silver Spoon's still trying to find her special somecreatrue. She started off with just ponies but branched out into other creatures after a few dead ends with the colts only wanting her for her wealth. Right now, she's currently with this dragon boy whose about her age. He reminds me of Spike in a way, as I've seen the dragon when he's not with Silver Spoon: That dragon has a crush on Silver Spoon and it was from day one long before they started dating. I wonder how long it'll be before he admits that and they start becoming more of a couple.

Geez I just realized Hearts and Hooves day is tomorrow. For now, it'll be nice to chill with my family and my friends. Luster, her friends, the CMC, and their special someponies are all there today for Friends & Family game night. As usual, I play game master as well as being one of the players.

We had such a fun time together, and soon it was close to evening time. However, as soon as our session closed, Rumble went up to Scootaloo.

"Hey Scoots...mind if I talk with you for a minute...while everyone is together." Rumble said.

"Sure Rumble. What's up?" Scootaloo asked.

"Well...see the thing is...I feel like I've really started to get attracted to you and who you are." Rumble said. Scootaloo smiled.

"Y'know...I've been feeling that same way myself." Scootaloo said.

"Wow...really? Well then..." Rumble said. "Scootaloo...I would like to ask you if...well...if you'd like to see just how far we can take our relationship..." He added. Scootaloo laughed.

"Of course Rumble. I'll gladly take my relationship with you to the next step." Scootaloo said, smiling before she kissed Rumble's cheek.

"Whoa! Scootaloo just kissed her coltfriend!" Sweetie Belle announced.

"About time though." Diamond Tiara said.

"For once, Deets is right." Apple Buck said.

"Thought you didn't like Mushy stuff, Scoots..." Button Mash said which got him an elbow from Sweetie. "Ow..."

"Kissing my special somepony isn't mushy." Scootaloo argued.

"Ironically...she's right." Silver Spoon said. Her dragon boyfriend wasn't there with her because of some family matters in the Dragon Lands.

"I think it's nice that you two are growing so close to one another." I said, smiling. "I'm still a bit young for that, but I hope I find my special somepony or somecreature someday." I added.

"I don't doubt that you will dear." Firefly said.

"I couldn't agree more." Chrysalis said.

"And we'll make sure to support you all the way." Luster Dawn said. Her friends all agreed with her.

"I hope to find my special somecreature someday too." Chrystalis said. "For now...it's nice to be with everyone." She added.

"Yep. You guys may have your special someponies and somecreatures, but sometimes it's great to hang out with your friends just as much as your significant others." I said.

"I could not have said that better myself." Twilight's voice rang out. She was coming in. "Sorry for interrupting, but I couldn't help but overhear things." Twilight said.

"Twilight, you really think what I said was good?" I asked. Twilight nodded.

"I know you've only just started on your path to good Cozy Glow, but if that statement is to be believed, then I have no doubt you will continue to discover the true nature of friendship." Twilight said.

"That sounds nice." I said with a smile. "And I honestly can't wait to learn more." I said.

Indeed. I could hardly wait.
