My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

Luster and her group were watching the viewing portal where they see that their mysterious Alicorn mare has triggered another nightmare version of a specific pony, this time targeting Gilda shortly after her true colors were revealed at Pinkie Pie's party.

"Wait a second, how can a griffon get taken over by a nightmare? In fact, all that seems to have happened to Gilda is now she even more evil then she was when she first came to ponyville. And I've met the mondern version of her, and she's actually quite nice now." Luster Dawn said.

"That makes it all the more presedent that you fix this problem sooner rather then later." The Jackle said.

"We're on it!" Cozy Glow said and thus the group was sent back in time once more.

Because how mindless Gilda acted being possessed by a nightmare, the group was easily able to defeat the possessed Gilda. However, their victory was short lived by the arrival of Grogar...and the mysterious alicorn mare riding his back. Wait what?

"...What's wrong with this picture right now?" Luster Dawn asked.

"Everything. Everything is wrong with this picutre." Cozy Glow said.

"I see you've defeated another of my nightmares. How interesting." The Alicorn mare said.

"Who even are you?" Luster Dawn asked.

"Call me Mystique; I am the Alicorn of Darkness. You should be able to understand why I want to mess up your timeline so badly from that information alone now can't you?" The Alicorn said.

"You just want to drown everything in darkness, don't you?" Cozy Glow asked. "Sorry, but we aren't about to let you." She activated her necklace's power to activate her Faux Alicorn state.

"Wait...that light..." Mystique said but the Grogar interuppted her.

"Mistress, I will protect you from this holigans!" Grogar said.

With the Faux Alicorn State, defeating Grogar took zero time.

"You." Mistique said, pointing a hoof at Cozy Glow. "I have no idea who you are Pegasus, but you somehow have access to a fraction of the power of the legendary Goddess of Light. But rest assured: Your light will only shine so bright before I snuff it out!" Mystique said and teleported herself and Grogar back through the timestream.

"Guess we gotta get going too." Cozy Glow said, removing her Faux Alicorn state and returning back to their own time period.

"Goddess of light you say? Father never met her." Lola said.

"He couldn't of. Of the immortals who were killed by a blast left by the immortal known as Yin-Yang, amongst them was the Goddess of Light. However, I know not who it is that has her powers and is her reincarnated in mortal form. I only know that Cozy Glow's necklace houses a small fraction of the Goddess of Light's full power." The Jackle explained.

"So that's it: The reason my necklace has all these strange powers is because it houses power from the Goddess of Light. But isn't too much light just as bad as too much darkness?" Cozy Glow asked.

"The Goddess of Light mostly took a backseat in spreading her light. As did the God of Darkness who still lives as an immortal to this day. In fact, the two immortals are actually twin siblings. Most of the time though, both let mortal kind do their own things, but will on occasion, provide mortal kind with but a fraction of their power when the time calls for it. These fractions of power manifest them into necklaces like the one you wear, Cozy Glow." The Jackle explained.

"Then between Orabarous and now this Alicorn of Darkness Mystique, the whole reason I was given this necklace is to fight against these more powerful foes who carry too much darkness in their hearts." Cozy Glow stated.

"That would be my guess yes. Make no mistake though, I sense greater trials ahead." The Jackle said.

"Well then I won't let the Goddess of Light down; I plan on helping my friends defeat Mystique and her two lackeys so that they will leave the time stream alone." Cozy Glow said. She and her friends left.

"...I sense a great light beginning to form within that Pegasus; and if Mystique keeps up her attacks like this, then no doubt Cozy Glow's destiny will reveal itself." The Jackle said. "After all, if there is an Alicorn of Darkness and Despair, then there needs to be an Alicorn of Light and Hope." He added.
