My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

The group was seeing that Slade had made Chrysalis get possessed by another nightmare, during the moment when she was supposed to run from the combined forces of all the ponies and reformed changelings.

“Slade again...” Luster Dawn said.

“We have to stop him once and for all this go around. I feel like that’s our best option.” Cozy Glow said.

“I trust your judgement.” The Jackle said before the group was sent through the time stream. “...I sense a great light about to take shape.” The Jackle said.

The group arrived on the scene and got straight to battling the possessed Chrysalis but shortly into it, Slade joined the fight.

“I’m done sitting on the sidelines for these things. I’m a man of action.” Slade said.

“We could really use some assist now.” Luster Dawn said.

“Consider us a part of this.” Thorax said.

With the changelings helping the possessed Chrysalis was defeated but Slade was still going strong.

“How talented is this guy, really?” Cozy Glow said and activated her Faux Alicorn status. Finally there was a point where Twilight hit Slade in the face with a spell which revealed the dark magic underneath.

“Wait this guy is animated by dark magic?” Twilight asked.

“What?” Slade asked and checked his reflection. “I WAS LIED TO?!” Slade yelled out.

“Lied to?” Cozy Glow was confused now.

“I don’t believe this...that two toned thing lied to me! I hate being used. Because that’s against the Soldier’s code.” Slade said.

“Soldier?” Celestia was confused said.

“Well I’m done being used. Seems there’s only one way to end my suffering. Come at me with everything you’ve got!” Slade said before tossing his katanas. “And I’m returning fire.” He added before grabbing his shirt.

As the music started, Slade pulled off his shirt to reveal a soldier’s uniform underneath and then took out two Skimitars that could be charged with electricity.

Slade would take many hits before his final defeat; and boy was it a lot of hits.

“I was born on a war torn world where humanity tried to over exert it’s will. No one is sure why the world went to war, but many speculated it’s because one half of humanity took things too far ethically. During the Final War, I was one of the generals for the the side of those that wanted the over extension of Humanity’s will to end. Never once did I get touched during the time of the war. The other side referred to me as ‘The Untouchable General’. I never suffered injury, until the final battle. During that battle, I was finally injured. But the battle ended with me as the lone survivor soldier. My wounds great from the battle, I headed for home only for a Blizzard to appear out of nowhere. I could have probably made it, if not for that Blizzard. But my injuries and the Blizzard combined made it impossible for me to go on for too long. That’s when this figure whose body consisted of two extremes showed up. One side was filled with the light and harmony you ponies represent. The other was pure darkness. Two sides of the same coin coexisted on that strange two sided being. He offered to heal my body so long as I did as he wanted after. But I didn’t know he never really healed my body. He lied to me that day. And Soldiers hate being lied to. So now here I stand, ready to fight until I am granted a Soldier’s Death at long last. For I am Slade Johnson, the former soldier of fortune!” Slade explained during the battle.

Finally after a long and very drawn out battle, Slade was finally defeated and his scars obviously from the Final Battle from his past, had opened and the dark magic animating him was leaving his body.

“Slade!” Cozy Glow flew over.

“You care for me? Even now?” Slade asked.

“I just feel sorry for you. You had no choice to become the way you are. If you had been born in our world maybe you could just be like a bodyguard or something. Anything else really.” Cozy Glow said. Slade’s eyes closed.

“I would actually like that if it could be possible.” Slade said. Cozy Glow then remembered that the Jackle said her necklace had powers she still wasn’t aware of yet. Could she grant such a wish with it’s powers?

“Maybe there is a way.” Cozy Glow said before closing her eyes with a hoof over her pendent. “Pendent of light here my plea: Grant this Soldier his wish and rebirth him into a version of Equestria.” Cozy Glow said. Her necklace gave off a bright glow before it died down. Slade no where to be seen.

“Where did he go?” Luster Dawn asked.

“I think...Slade got his wish.” Cozy Glow said. She and the group was sent back through the time stream.

The Time Patrol group was back in the present yet when they looked at Cozy Glow they gasped.

“What? Is there something on my face?” Cozy Glow asked. Luster made a mirror appear causing the growing mare to gasp. “Screw my face...” Cozy Glow ran a hoof over her new Alicorn Horn. “There’s something on my head!” She said.

“It’s just as I expected. You Cozy Glow have conquered the darkness within, and now have ascended into being The Alicorn of Light.” The Jackle said.

“I guess I did give Slade new hope: Hope for a better life then he was forced to lead. I hope when we see his reborn self...it’s under much friendlier circumstances.” Cozy Glow said.

“He said light not Hope.” Luster Dawn said.

“They are one and the same.” Princess Twilight said. She was next to The Jackle. Cozy Glow nodded.

“I thought friendship was power at the start, but overtime I’ve found my beliefs shattered time and time again. And now more then ever I agree that Friendship is Magic.” Cozy Glow said.
