My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

"No new changes to history yet. Perhaps now we can focus on Cozy Glows coronation." Princess Twilight said.

"Something is bothering me though. It's about how Mistique revived Grogar. We can hazard a guess as to how she revived Slade but we wouldn't even know where to start with Grogar." Cozy Glow said. She suddenly took one of The Jackle’s books.

“Hey!” The Jackle said. Cozy Glow soon found a page in particular.

“Here!” Cozy Glow said and showed it off. “It’s faint, but there’s a dark aura coming from this specific part of our official history.” She added.

“This is about our defeat of Grogar...but nothing seems to have changed. We zapped him with the Friendship laser and he disappeared, what’s wrong with that?” Luster Dawn asked.

“Wait that’s not right...” The Jackle took the book back and did a double check. “Cozy Glow is right...this part of history was altered slightly. Not enough to cause problems, but enough to leave a fingerprint.” The Jackle said.

“A fingerprint we could use to follow Mistique’s trail.” Cozy Glow said.

“Cozy Glow that’s genius.” Princess Twilight said.

“Looks like your already proving you’ve earned being an Alicorn.” Sunset said.

“She kind of already did that by granting Slade’s Wish.” The Jackle said.

“Well now she’s just cementing it now.” Luster Dawn said as she and the Time Patrol Group went to the Time Altar to follow Mistique.

The group arrived through the time stream just a few days after the Final Grogar battle and found a Time Hole which they entered.

There they arrived in a desolate version of Equestria.

“Wait...why is this version still here?” Cozy Glow asked. The others she understood but not this one.

“Because this is the Equestria I created.” Mistique said. She was Riding atop Grogar. “So you finally decided to follow my trail. Was wondering when you would.” Mistique said.

“The game ends here, Mistique!” Luster Dawn said.

“That’s what you think. Your in my world now.” Mistique said. “Grogar, deal with these pests.” Mistique said.

“Yes Mistress.” Grogar said. Mistique teleported off.

“What happened to the big bad Grogar we fought? You never would let yourself be used like this.” Luster Dawn said.

“Mistique saved me from being turned to stone for a long long time. Therefor I owe her my life. Besides, she wants what I want, and she has told me she’s willing to share. So I will do what I must for my new Mistress.” Grogar said.

The group managed to defeat Grogar, this time really sealing him up in stone. Mistique teleported back.

"Such a waste..." Mistique said before toppling him over; breaking him into pieces.

"Hey! Why did you do that?!" Luster Dawn exclaimed.

"Why do you think? He failed his assignment. And I don't enjoy those who fail to follow my orders." Mistique said.

"You are insane..." Cozy Glow said.

"I'd love to see you try and defeat me. I'm not as soft as all those other villians you've been known to deal with. When I aim to kill, I really do aim to kill." Mistique said.

"Mistique...I thought there was hope for you. But clearly you are the worst of the worst. I am Cozy Glow, the Alicorn of Light, and you are going to be defeated." Cozy Glow said.

"Please. Your just a recent alicorn. You can't defeat someone whose going on 3,000 years of experince." Mistique said.

While Mistique proved to be a much tougher challenge then anything the group has faced up to this point, she still was unable to defeat them.

"I don't understand...your only a recent Alicorn. How could I lose to the likes of you?" Mistique asked.

"That's simple, really. It's because I have friends. And my friends helped me to victory. But you will not die here. Not like this." Cozy Glow said. "I grant you the same kind of mercy that I gave Slade. Here's hoping when you return, you return as someone good this time." She added before she used her necklace's power to make Mistique get reborn as a totally different pony.

Everyone was returned to the main timeline.

"Mistique's presence has been dealt with I feel. It seems the entire time stream is in your debt, Cozy Glow." The Jackle said.

"You still chose to give her mercy. Why?" Princess Twilight asked.

"Because light cannot exist without darkness. Here's hoping when we see her again, her darkness isn't an evil kind." Cozy Glow said.

"Well said." Luster Dawn said.
