Sunset Shimmer's New Journal: Entry Number 1 - What I Left Behind...

With a little persuasion from Luster Dawn, I bought myself a journal I can write my own thoughts in.

So to start with, do I feel bad for leaving my friends from the human world behind? I do. I do a lot. But they understood that I'm not from their world. They knew that I couldn't stay forever. Because if I did, then I'd forget Equestria completely. Thus all of them were very supportive over my decision to return to Equestria permanently. I decided to leave the magic journal Twilight gave me with Applejack so I could stay in touch with my friends from that side of the mirror.

But when I came over to Equestria, I didn't expect to get roped into helping Luster Dawn keep some demon devil from killing Rarity before she could die peacefully. Go figure. Equestra's world was quite a few years ahead of the human world. Well...more then a few. More like a a decade or two ahead. It's weird. At least I was able to bound quickly with Luster Dawn. Don't know why, but she was surprisingly easy to befriend.

Still, Twilight believes that she and I could be doing some amazing things together in the future. I kind of just want to stay out of things. I've had enough saving the world in the human world. But then again, I suppose if things get bad, and I mean really bad, then I suppose I could help out.

But for now, I left behind my old friends, my old house, and my old belongings. I quite litterally came here with nothing but a saddlebag. I miss my friends.

Yes, it's short I know. But this was to establish the fact that every now and again, Sunshine will have her own episodes in the future. Just not this season.
