Luster Dawn's Journal: Entry number 5 - The CMC and me

Yeah not much to put here that wouldn't basically spoil my entire day. Seriously, read on.

Throughout the next few days, the CMC and Luster did everything that they could think of in relation to Luster's mysterious talent. But whatever it was that luster was good at, the best any of them could come up with was doing spells. Which isn't really that special when Luster's mom and Princess Twilight Sparkle could both do magic. "I wonder if Luster's special talent might be similar to Twilight's in that she could be really good at making friends and doesn't yet realize it?" Diamond Tiara suggested.

"Could it really be that simple?" Apple Bloom said.

"You never really know though. That's the funny thing about cutie marks sometimes." Silver Spoon said. "Don't forget, Diamond Tiara had some trouble hers." She said.

"How could we forget?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Yeah. Helping her is what led us to discover our true talent." Scootaloo said.

"Must be pretty special then. I mean, when you really think about it, the three of you are good at all talents." Luster Dawn said. The squad of five looked a luster. "What? It makes sense. If you don't know enough about any given talent, how are you supposed to help others out with their talents?" Luster Dawn asked.

"...She's right..." Silver Spoon said. "Don't ask me how, but she's right..." She said.

"I get the same exact feeling..." Diamond Tiara said.

"Ah suppose that would make a lot of sense. Ah mean, we did try so many different things getting our cutie marks after all." Apple Bloom said.

"Yeah. And when we finally came together in the way we did, everything clicked." Sweetie Belle said.

"Which only makes us all the more awesome!" Scootaloo said. Luster smiled. This was a good day.
