Gears started to open his eyes. He saw a mare with an orange coat and purple mane tied up in a ponytail and a buckball cap. She noticed him waking up, and she turned to face him. He was surprised to see that the mare was scootaloo.

“Scootaloo is that you” gears asked know the answer

“Yeah it’s me, I didn’t think you would wake up in time” Scootaloo said

“What do you mean” Gears asked

“We got a mission, and I thought we might need someone else” Scootaloo informed him

“Sorry scoots your stuck with me” Gears said in a playful toun

“Lucky me” Scootaloo said with a smile

“Scootaloo briefing is- oh his a wake.” a gray earth pony said

“Gloom your back to your pony disguise.” Gears asked the earth pony

“Indeed, the soldiers were not too keen on my appearance, so I put on my disguise to quell their fears.” Gloom said

“Yeah, I can relate to that brother.” Gears said with a dejected look.

“Gears come on, let's go.” scootaloo said with an empathetic tone

As scootaloo and Gears got out of the infirmary tent, they followed gloom to the entrance of the base, gears saw the tank that him, Scootaloo, and spike blow up just before he blacked out. Spike looked at gears with an excited expression.

“Good, you're up I Was afraid you're we’re going to miss this.” Spike said with an upbeat tone

“As much as I love the attention, we don't have time to focus on me.” Gears said getting everyone on track

Spike rolled his eyes and started briefing everyone “Ok there's a base that has a gold mine of COR intel. Handy found out about this place yesterday after Scootaloo went in your place, Gears. So handy and his team will be on the left side of the base gears, Scootaloo and gloom you three will take down the AA turret then the rest of us will fast rope in and search it for intel.”

“This is going to be interesting.” Gears said

1200hours, December 21, 2010

Scootaloo, Gears and gloom were in a helicopter and dropped them one mile out from the base. Gears took point. He signaled them to move forward as they did they came across a weapon exchange between the zebras and the COR.

“contacts three stripes and four reds, we’ll take them out quietly.” Gears said with a hush voice.

“I shall flank the enemy in case any of them spot you.” gloom said

Gears took out a M1911 with a suppressor, Scootaloo with a tactical build MP5. Gears aimed at the dragons and fired two shots into his head. Scootaloo shot all three zebras with her suppressed MP5. gears shot another COR soldier in the neck making the mare fall to the ground, bleeding out. Gloom fired his Stoner 63 and fired at the last two killing them.

“Clear.” Gears said

Everyone converged on the crates Scootaloo decided to grab the AK-74u with a red dot and laser sight. Gears and gloom followed her example and got their own weapons from the crates gears grabbed an M14 with grenade launcher attachment. Gloom picked up an AK-47 with a duel mag and a Masterkey.

“Let's move, we need to get in position.” Gears said.

As the three walked through the jungle, they came up on a cliff that overlooks the base. Gloom and scootaloo got the rope ready, and the lines secured so they can grapple down the cliff.

“Scootaloo, you seem troubled, what plagues your thoughts.” Gloom asked her

“Nothing, it's not important.” Scootaloo answered.

“Is this about the Sargent?” gloom asked

“Actually, he's a colonel, and kinda” scootaloo respond

“Continue.” Gloom

“I was thinking about my son and how he will react about gears. I've haven’t seen anyone since I had him so I’m worried about that and not to mention I said I will plan the date and I’m regretting it because I have made reservations and all that shit.” Scootaloo ranted.

“I thought in pony courtship the male was supposed to plan the date.” Gloom said

“Yes, there are, but I want to make it special because he’s never been on a date.” Scootaloo said.

“You ponies and your first, to make it special, make something he will enjoy. Then amazed him.” gloom advised

“Inda were ready at your mark” handy said over the comms

“Copy that Carlie, processed with the attack.” Gears said into the radio as soon as the gunfire started gears, Scootaloo, and gloom all grappled down the cliff. There was a river leading to a side entrance; they saw a turret with a zebra manning it. The zebra noticed the three soldiers noticing the outfit as the purple equestrian battle dress uniforms. The zebras opened fire on the three soldiers.

There were four zebras that came out and kept firing and only stopped to reload, scootaloo took advantage and aimed and shot the two zebras on the left of the turret. Gloom aimed his Stoner 63 and fired them into the other two. The zebra on the turret finished reloading his mounted RPD and fired at scootaloo, but before she was hit. gears tackled her to the ground. Gloom rushed the zebra and shot four rounds to the head.

“You two all right.” gloom said

Gears and Scootaloo were on top of each other, their mouths inches apart this held for about five minutes. Scootaloo was the first to speak “uh Gears, we’re safe now” Scootaloo said with the reddest blush on her face. Gears stumbled off of her and helped her up.

“I’m sorry you were in danger and I thought.” Gears was cut off by Scootaloo laughter

“You don't have to gears I understand, plus your trying to apologize is so cute” Scootaloo said

“I’m not cute please stop calling me that.” gears said with a blush.

“Stop being cute then.” Scootaloo retorted.

“Sir, we need to move.” gloom said.

“He’s right let's go.” Gears said.

Gears took point once more and led scootaloo and gloom into the base. They fought through the base, scootaloo was rushed by four zebras she hit the first one in the face with her hoof then she kicked the next zebra that rushed her then she shot the third zebra before she reached her. The lasted zebra grabbed gun they had a bit of a scuffle before scootaloo head butted the zebra rolled over him and shot her downed foe. Two left, the other two recovered from and rushed her. She aimed her weapon but before she could get a shot off, one zebra knocked her gun out of her hoof. She dogged a swing that was going for her head and block the next attacked she grabbed the zebras leg and pulled him towards her she used the him as a shelled to stop the other zebra from stabbing her

“Talk about friendly fire.” Scootaloo quipped before ripping out the knife from the now dead zebra she was holding and quickly threw it at the last one's head.

“Were clear” Gloom said

“Let's keep moving, the AA turret is nearby.” Gears said

“Indian, This is Charlie we're making our way through the south-east corridor.” Handy said over the comms

“Copy that we’re going up to the roof from the south-west staircase.” Gears responded

As the three went up the stairs and opened the door to the roof as they opened it and saw armed guards defending the AA Turret. Gears loaded a grenade in the launcher attachment, he angled it to hit the three guards that were close to each other, Gears fired the explosive and once it impacted and exploded turning the zebras into nothing but red misted. Getting the other five guard's attention, a skirmish was underway. Scootaloo shot two of the zebras with her AK-74u. Gears threw a tomahawk at another zebra and shot another with his M14 once in the chest and another in the head. Gloom got the last guard with a brutal neck snap.

“You two get off the gun now.” Gears order to the weapon's operators, aiming his M14 at their direction.

“Kilo this is India the AA turret is down and the skis are clear.” Gears said into the radio

Spike, Daring-do, woodfire

“This is kilo, Gears I’m not hearing explosions” Spike said.

“Wait for it.” gears said over the comms

A loud explosion where the AA turret was placed was now nothing but rubble and flames.

“I’ve seen better, but that was still hot.” Woodfire said

“Ok Their something has to be wrong with you” daring-do said

“It’s woodfire he only gets excited when it involves fire” Spike said with a chuckle

“We're approaching the courtyard drop zone is full of strips.” the pilot said

“Go go.” Spike said as he along with his team comprised of Woodfire, Daring-do and the stallion couple. As they touched the ground spike with his M4 started to fire at the Zebras getting two as he did so. Woodfire aimed his Galil with a flamethrower attachment at the closes zebra and lit him on fire. As after a what felt like a never ending fight spike heard a sniper shot near his head it hit a zebra that was right next to him spike looked up and saw gears with a L96A1 sniper rifle

“Spike get your ass in there, we can help your team.” Gears shouted at him.

“Woodfire, Daring with me.” Spike yelled at the two as he cleared a way to the entrance woodfire was the first to follow Daring close behind. Woodfire burned anyone who got in the way. Once they were inside the pilot got on the radio and said “I don’t have much time lieutenant, get that intel and head to the roof that’s your exfil point.”

“Understood we won’t take long.” Spike said to the pilot.

Spike, woodfire and daring walked through the building and saw handy and his team trying to open a door that had the words “phòng chỉ huy(war room)” on it.

“Gears we got what we came here for, lets go” Spike said

“Everyone into the helicopter we’re leaving” gears ordered everyone. Everyone climbed into the air vehicle, and it started to fly away
