0600hours, December 24, 2010, Heartwarming eve

Cheerilee woke up early in the morning. She went to her guest room and woke up a young colt sleeping in the bed. The colt looks up at her with an annoyed look on his face. “what is antea” the colt asked Cheerilee.

“You know how I said someone special is coming today.” Cheerilee answer his question with a question.

Yes

“Well, come on get dressed, we're going to meet them” Cheerilee said happily.

As the two left cheerilee’s home the colt asked “who is it, anyway.”

“It’s a surprise lightning.” Cheerilee said to the young pegasus.

The two walked all the way to the outskirts of ponyville and saw four ponies conversing with each other. Two were earth ponies and the other two were unicorns. The two also appeared to be fillies. The older earth pony noticed Cheerilee first and beckoned her over.

“Howdy miss Cheerilee what brings you here.” applejack greeted the teacher.

“Same thing that brings you here, I guess.” Cheerilee said

“So you're waiting for someone to.” Applejack asked

“Yup” Cheerilee said

The white unicorn noticed the colt beside Cheerilee and she asked, “Cheerilee his he your son.”

Lightning was the first to respond, “no antea Cheerilee is nice, but my mom is the coolest”

“Mama’s boy” applebloom said with a chuckle

“Applebloom be nice.” Applejack scolded

“Well, I think it nice that he loves his mom.” the green mane filly said.

Before applebloom could say anything a helicopter approached the six ponies and when it landed the six ponies saw two ponies and one dragon, all of them were covered in bandages the six ponies all had mixed feelings ranging from concern to excitement at seeing their loved one return. The mustered filly was the first to approach the three unicorn stallion in particular “DAD!!” the filly yelled as he tacked huge gears. Gears huge her back without hesitation.

“I’ve missed you so much” gears said to the filly, tears in his eyes

“Yeah, and he said isn’t cute.” Scootaloo said under her breath then she looked at Cheerilee then at the colt beside her, Scootaloo eyes filled with tears herself as she approached the colt and gave him a big hug. Applejack ran to spike a gave him a kiss on the lips.

“I’m glad you're not dead, Spike,” applejack said.

Everyone spent the morning talking with each other, getting to one another. After that they went to their respective homes except for Gears, and glittershell who went to carousel boutique with rarity because of rarity wanting to make gears a new uniform to replace the cut up and bloody mess that was the uniform gears was wearing.

Sweet apple acres
2355, December 31, 2010 new Year's eve

After the three received their injuries, they had new years at sweet apple acres. Spike invited Woodfire, Daring-do, and Gloom. He also invited curly wind and care root but they were busy off doing a mission for the EIA.

“Hay Scootaloo is it?” Daring asked.

“Yeah what do you want to talk about.” scootaloo answered.

“We never really talked and what we made you do wasn’t the best” Daring-do said abet awkwardly.

“Putting it lightly and they probably would have made me do that, eventually.” scootaloo said

“Hay Gloom told me you read my books to your son.” daring said

“I do” Scootaloo said

“You think I can sign a book for him.” daring asked

“Sure.” Scootaloo said

Gears walked up to Scootaloo and put his hoof around her. She said nothing and just nuzzled him abet before booping him on his muzzle. Spike saw this from his seat, Spike just smiled and applejack noticed this too and she said, “those two are so cute.”

“Yeah, I set them up. I think it's working.” Spike said

“Well twilight knows two need love.” applejack said

“You don’t know Scootaloo tho.” Spike said

“But I know gears, and he is a lonely pony. Good thing he has a marefriend now. She has a foal and no pony to care for her as much as I don’t want to admit it. Raising applebloom by myself just made me feel lonesome.” applejack said

“When I first met you, you told me you don’t need a stallion.” Spike said

“I don't need his help, but company is a different thing and don’t you dare tell anyone about that.” Applejack snapped at him

“I won’t” spike said with a smirk

“We got one minute till New Year's guys.” woodfire said eagerly as him and gloom walked up with fireworks

Hay Gloom, how has things been going on since we last saw you.

The queen has promoted me to her personal guard and, she will have a meeting with princess twilight in the morning I will accompany her.

Good hopefully we can put this shit behind us and move on with are lives.

Everyone is moving rather setting up the fireworks or counting down once the got to zero the foals lit the fireworks then it the explosive shot up to the air and exploded it bright colors. “HAPPY NEW YEAR” everyone yelled as the skies we covered in light sparkles of light.
