Chapter 12: Don't lose your determination.

"JUAN!". Voices screamed in terror and agony.

Juan was in a black space where there was no soul. Juan tried to find the sources of the voices, running from side to side Juan ran desperately.

"WHERE ARE THEY?!". Juan screamed looking for the sources of the voices.

"JUAN!" This time the voices sounded terrifyingly similar to certain 4 beloved ponies that I recognized.

"No ... No. ANSWER ME!" Juan screamed. Then he found the source of the voices and calmed down. But then he realized something ... very disturbing. He found the princesses and not only that, he found his friends ... but ... they were all dead.

Juan collapsed on the ground with tears in his eyes. Then Juan looked at his hands and saw that they were stained with blood. He then hurried away staggering and falling back onto the cold ground.

Then Juan heard footsteps coming in front of him. Then he looked up and saw someone he did not expect to see. The bipedal figure was HIM! Then 'the other Juan' pointed their golden revolvers at him.

"I can't believe it ... it's ... it's me." The real Juan whispered totally scared. Then he looked closely at the garb of his false self and saw the emblem of the corrupted and all his armor was now black and red. And his hands were stained with blood.

Then the false me noticed him and slowly began to approach him.

"Can not be". Juan was completely scared and with tears in his eyes.

"Surprised?". Asked his false self.

"You ... you ... YOU KILLED THEM ALL!" The real John screamed.

"It wasn't just me ... it was you too ... Did you really believe that these creatures loved you?" His false self asked in a dark voice.

"Let me end your torment." Then the fake Juan reloaded one of his revolvers and shot him with clothes on fire.

End of the nightmare

"AHHHHHHHH". Juan screamed in terror. He was sweating, with tears in his eyes and panting too hard. He then realized that he was sleeping on the cobblestone floor of the house he hid in the morning when the corrupt conquered Canterlot. After he screamed Scarlet woke up from her sleep mode.

JUAN?!. You're good? you were screaming. Scarlet asked very concerned.

"It was just a fucking nightmare." Juan said as he calmed down and lay back on his makeshift bed. Then Juan got up and looked through one of the windows of the house.

What he saw left him speechless. The beautiful and bright Canterlot was now engulfed in flames. The smell of smoke covered all areas of the equestrian capital. The corrupt soldiers guarded all the surroundings of the castle and the other soldiers were in charge of capturing the ponies that were still free. Juan saw many ponies being treated like mules. Loading carts full of ammunition and weapons and the other ponies that seemed more important were taken to the dungeons of Canterlot.

"This is all my fault". Juan whispered to himself with tears in his eyes. But Scarlet didn't hear him. Then Scarlet spoke.

Juan while you were sleeping I discovered the plan of the corrupt thanks to the central computer. The leaders of the creatures are in the dungeons of Canterlot and the others are captured in their respective territories. With a new ... Scarlet was interrupted by Juan.

"What's the case?"

Sorry?

"Look what we've brought to this peaceful world ... those monsters are probably scavenging more territory as we speak ... that bastard must be doing horrible things to our friends ... and ... all because of us."

"Face it ... we can't do anything ... our old home has already fallen because of us ... all those years fighting against the corrupt so that the planet will prosper again and humanity can survive ... but. ". Juan stopped and looked secretly at his revolvers.

Juan

"You know, sometimes he asked me why I am still alive and why I myself have a single person fight against an organization that controls humanity and ... and ... now our home is just ruins of our ancient world."

"I don't deserve to live ... the resistance is already extinct ... planet earth is just a desert full of ruins and now maybe the same thing happened with Equestria."

Juan do not say those things, it was not your fault that those monsters will arrive here. Come on we must rescue them all ... to our new home ... After those words Juan broke down.

"DON'T YOU SEE?!. THEY ARE HERE BECAUSE OF MY FAULT ... I WAS THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF MY FAMILY'S MASSACRE! ALL MY FORMER FRIENDS AND MY OWN FAMILY ARE DEAD!" Juan roared in anger and sadness. This scared Scarlet a lot.

Then he looked at his golden revolver "There is only one way to get this weight off my shoulders. And to be able to see Mom and Dad again." Then he grabbed his revolver and reloaded it.

Juan, please don't do anything stupid.

Then after reloading the gun. He put it on his head.

JUAN! PLEASE DO NOT DO IT! IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT! PLEASE YOU HAVE TO ENTER IN REASON!

Scarlet's words fell on deaf ears. Just as Juan was about to pull the trigger of the gun a very familiar and soft voice called out to him.

"Juan" Said the voice. It appeared to be from a woman. Juan recognized the voice instantly. He couldn't believe it was his mother's sweet voice.

"Mother?". Juan asked as he slowly removed his finger from the gun's trigger.

"Juan ... My special boy. You've grown so much ... I hardly recognize you" The woman said as she kissed him on the forehead.

"I ... I missed you mom ... But ... I thought you were gone ...!" Juan said softly as he tried to push the gun away from his head.

"I will never leave, my son. I, and your father, are always here with you," said Juan's mother as they slowly separated from her embrace.

"W-what do you mean they're all dead ... and I'm alone. I don't even have Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Twilight and my friends ... I don't have anyone ..." Juan said as he sat down on the ground and lowered his head sadly.

"Juan ... We have always been with you ... We were here in your heart all this time ...!", Said his mother as she placed one hand on her chest and the other raised her head.

"Why ...? Why did everyone leave? Why did I live ... when everyone died?" Juan questioned as the woman wiped away his tears.

"It was fate ... Fate has a funny and mysterious way of thinking at times. It wants you to live ... So that you can find love in more ways than one, and from what I saw from within, you Lo Conversely ". The woman said as she sat on the floor next to him.

"Yes ... I already made friends and about 4 suitors, I ... never thought I could love anyone else, but ... they were so kind to me, they cared a lot about me" said Juan sobbing.

"Do you really love them?" His mother asked him.

"Yes ... but I don't want anything to happen to them, I would never apologize to myself, they will miss out on anything. Besides ... Equestria and the other territories have been taken over by those monsters," said Juan. while I felt tears in my eyes. again.

"Juan ... I know you miss us, and I know you have good intentions, but ... you must know that this is your home now ... you are living in the past, you must forget those painful memories and look forward", he his mother explained when Juan hit the shock, "I wanted you to grow up happy and so full of love. If you stay here any longer, you will continue to regret until there is nothing left of you to hurt."

"But I can't ... And even if I could ... It's too late, the corrupt are still taking my friends as prisoners and it's my fault," Juan said while his mother smiled.

"I would not be so sure about that. They are waiting for you as we speak, all your friends trust you and have faith in you. Also he assured you that they are safe and sound" said his mother.

"What ...? But ... I thought," Juan said when he suddenly felt the presence of everyone throughout Equestria. His mother was right, they had been captured but they were safe and sound.

"Juan ... They love you so much, that they are willing to put their lives in your hands" He said as shock washed over him.

"Unfortunately I don't have any more time to stay but I want you to know something." Said his mother. Juan then looked into her eyes.

"I and your father will always love you and we will always be in your heart. This new world is now your home and in these moments you must fight for your home, for your friends ... and for your lovers ...".

"You're right mom." Juan said as he wiped away his tears and threw his revolver on the ground.

"That is my boy ... but you must always remember this ... Never lose your determination my son." His mother said as she kissed him on the forehead.

"Remember that we will always love you and we will always be in your heart. I wish you good luck, my son, in your mission." With one last goodbye the woman vanished. Juan then stood there watching the night sky of his beloved Moon.

"Never lose your determination." He whispered himself. He then grabbed his revolver and pushed it away and then walked over to Scarlet's hologram.

Juan I ... I'm sorry. Scarlet said in a shaky and fearful voice. Juan was somewhat confused.

"There's nothing to apologize for babe." Juan said in a soothing voice. Scarlet was a bit confused.

"I should apologize. I am so sorry for what I said earlier, you are right it was not our fault that the corrupt came here, and we must also fight for our home. This is our new home now."

I'm glad you came to reason.

"Well tell me baby what were you saying? Do you have a trick up your cybernetic sleeve?" He asked curiously as he sat down near Scarlet's hologram.

Well, as I was saying, I hacked the mainframe and discovered the corrupt plan. Look... Then Scarlet projected a screen on one of the walls of the house.

This is the first phase of the corrupt plan. They plan to have the most powerful gadgets in Equestria in their possession. Among them are the elements of harmony, the pearl of the hippogriffs, the Grogar bell and the staff of the Storm King among others.

"Well I understand ... but do you have any idea what they plan to do with Equestria, its inhabitants and my friends?" Juan asked still keeping his gaze of determination.

That is the worst part. The other creatures plan to be used as simple beasts of burden. But I have no idea what they plan to do with the leaders and the princesses. And on Equestria, the Corrupted plan to overexploit all resources, that includes draining all magic from all creatures.

"Well I understand. Do you have a plan?"

Yes. My plan is to liberate each territory in Equestria one by one.

"But why don't we start with Canterlot first?"

It is not recommended, it would be like suicide. Canterlot is surrounded by the corrupt. It is better to start in a territory that is not so guarded.

"Good. Where do we start?" Juan asked as he reloaded his weapons, and packed his things to prepare for the mission.

Mount Aris. It is the least guarded place and where there are more prisoners. It would be a good start.

"Ok ... but there is only one small problem. How the hell do you plan for us to get to Mount Aris so fast?" Juan asked. But what he didn't know was that Scarlet already had it figured out.

I figured you'd ask that ... luckily I have your answer. Look.

After Scarlet said that, a device that looked like a bracelet appeared on Juan's armor wrist.

"What is this?". Juan asked while looking curiously at the bracelet.

It's just a small teleporter. Twilight and I created it while we upgrade your armor. Let's say it is a combination of human technology and equestrian magic.

"Great and how does it work?"

You just say the name of the place where you want to teleport and voila, in a matter of seconds you will be at your destination.

Then Juan nodded and turned back to the window of the house this time looking at Canterlot Castle.

"Hold on, I swear on my word that I will release you all." With that Juan turned to the teleporter.

"Mount Aris". Then a sky blue light surrounded Juan, after a few seconds both Juan and his things and Scarlet disappeared from the house.

Canterlot dungeons

Celestia, the other princesses, and Twilight's friends had been chained on all four legs and had bosal in their mouths, they were being directed to the dungeons below the equestrian capital.

Celestia recognized many of the prisoners. Among them she noted Fancy Pants, Fleur de Lis, her nephew Prince Blueblood, and many of his loyal guards from both her and Luna.

"This will be your cell." Ezequiel said as he opened the door to the largest cell in all of Canterlot.

When Celestia and the others entered they saw many of their friends with chains and some bruises. Celestia and the others recognized many of the prisoners.

The corrupt had locked up and chained Queen Novo, her niece Silverstream, the leader of the dragons Ember, the lord of chaos Discord, the Duke of the Gryphons, Sunburts among many other friends and allies.

"Walk." Said one of the soldiers to Celestia while pointing his rifle at her. Celestia grudgingly obeyed. Then she joined the others chained near the other prisoners. Then Ezequiel closed the door on them.

They all looked at Ezekiel with hatred and contempt in their eyes.

"What's wrong? You don't like your 5-star cell?" Ezequiel joked as he gave everyone a malicious smile.

"Juan will rescue us and kick your ass and everyone else's." Rainbow said as she glared at him.

"Yes, he will come and rescue us and then he will kill you and your army." Luna said. Ezequiel just smiled.

"Do you really think that coward will come for you? Ha ha I doubt it very much."

"You know, I never believed that with your help you could bring us to victory. Isn't that so Shining Armor?" Then from behind Ezequiel the former prince appeared with armor very similar to that of Tempest Shadow and a black helmet. They all gasped.

"All this was also with his help." Ezekiel said. Armor just smiled.

"I finally got my revenge on all of you. Especially with you Cady." Armor said looking at his ex-wife.

"Brother, how could you betray us?" Twilight asked with tears in her eyes.

"How naive you are, little sister. In cerio you think that you or this bitch mattered to me, if you thought so, I'm sorry to disappoint you. I just married Cadance for power and have an excuse to finally leave Canterlot. While you are just a object to me. Twily you are a fool to think that I loved you. " At this Twiligt lowered his head in disappointment and sobbed silently.

"My lord, I hate to interrupt, but the soldiers found this unicorn mare freeing some prisoners in the village of Ponyville." Came the voice of Craid who in turn was being escorted by two soldiers carrying a unicorn in their arms.

The unicorn had her horn broken, a scar on her left eye, and a mohawk for her mane. This was none other than Tempest Shadow.

"Umm ... you seem to be very dangerous and rude ... take her inside with the other prisoners." Then the soldiers nodded and chained Tempest. Which I lowered my head in disappointment.

Twilight then saw this and whispered to the rude mare.

"Tempest ... are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Twilight asked with concern.

"I'm fine ... I just wanted to help those ponies but then they captured me and ... here I am." Tempest said as she gave the lavender alicorn a sad smile. Twilight smiled back.

"What are you going to do with us?" Celestia asked as she looked at Ezekiel with hatred and contempt.

"Well my dear, truthful, I just want to get your magic and that of the other princesses. The other leaders only want their territories."

"You will see our world, Earth was a beautiful world like yours, but resources were scarce now Equestria will be our new home. Why do you think the operation is called New Earth?" Celestia obviously knew he was lying.

"Well, I also have something planned for the boy." At this the princesses gasped. But not only them but also everyone present in the cell.

"DO NOT YOU DARE!". Celestia yelled. Ezequiel just gave him a wicked smile.

"Believe me dear, that bastard will pay to betray us." Then Ezequiel withdrew from the cell leaving Celestia and the others.

"Juan no...". It was the only thing Celestia could say before dropping her head crying. She like the others were chained to the wall.

"Please you have to rescue Equestria from those monsters. You have to rescue us." Celestia said as she looked at the only window to the outside.

The others could only give him sad looks.

"He will rescue us, I trust him." Queen Novo said giving Celestia a smile. She returned a sad smile.

"I've heard many of his exploits. I know young Juan will never disappoint us." Tempest said.

The others gave him words of encouragement. Celestia now saw that Juan would never disappoint them. And that very soon he would save them, they entrusted him with their home and their lives were now in his hands. They all trusted him.

Mount Aris

After a flash of magic, Juan, Scarlet and their things found themselves on the desolate beaches of Mount Aris. Juan then opened his eyes. The landscape was desolate and the only sound was the waves on the beaches. The palace was surrounded and guarded by corrupt soldiers.

"Where do you think the other hippogriffs are locked up?" Juan asked as he activated his night vision.

I think they must have been locked in dungeons. Under the palace.

"Well ... what about the Seaquestria dungeons?" Juan asked.

I think the sea ponies must have been locked in the dungeons of Seaquestria Castle.

"Well, where do we start ...". Juan couldn't finish because of a little splash in the water.

"Baby ... I don't think we're completely alone on this beach." Juan said as he reloaded his revolvers and hid behind some rocks.

"Come on, I know you're there." Juan whispered. Slowly the creature came out of the water, after a light shone the creature revealed itself.

Juan then saw his opportunity and threw himself on top of the creature. The creature realized and his eyes went wide

"No wait!...". The creature screamed but Juan did not hear it and threw it to the ground and then picked it up and held it against some rocks.

"Please do not hurt me". Said the creature that appeared to be a woman.

"Who you are?". Juan asked as he pointed his revolver at him.

"I ... I ... wait ... Juan, is that you?" The creature that looked very familiar to a certain giggling hippogriff asked.

"Skystar? Is it really you?" Juan asked. Then her eyes widened when she saw the position in which she had her friend.

"I ... I'm really sorry Skystar ... I didn't know it was you." Juan said as he slowly withdrew and let Skystar out of his grip.

"Take it easy ... no need to apologize. OH I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!" The laughing princess yelled as she hugged him. Jaun happily hugged him back. But then she started crying, Juan noticed it and spoke to her in a calmer voice.

"Easy, you are saved ... just tell me what happened here." Juan said as they parted from the hug, then put his hand on Skystar's shoulder.

"Those evil humans came and began to capture my subjects. They also took my cousin and my mother." Skystar said sobbing. Juan then drew the hippogriff into a new hug, which accepted him.

"I am the only one left." Skystar said. The tears kept running. It broke Juan's heart to see her crying, normally she was very smiling and happy, but now she was so weak emotionally, it was heartbreaking to see her that way.

"Skystar look at me." Juan said and the princess obeyed instantly looking at you with those beautiful blue eyes.

"I promise you that I will rescue Silverstream and your mother, believe me they will be safe. Those monsters will be defeated and I will free Equestria. I promise you." Juan said. Skystar still with tears in her eyes took off her helmet and gave her a little kiss on the cheek. Then he put it back on.

"I know you'll do it". Skystar said. Then Juan smiled at her, and then looked at the palace with a look of determination.

"Well ... it's time to get to work." Then Juan went to the Palace with his revolvers.

"Wait!". Skystar screamed. Juan then turned to her.

"I ... I ... will go with you." Skystar said. Juan didn't want something to happen to her because of him.

"No you won't, I don't want something to happen to you because of me. I would never forgive myself if those monsters hurt you. You won't come with me stay under the water safely." Juan said. But Skystar wouldn't take No for an answer.

"I will not take No for an answer. I am the princess of the hippogriffs and I would do anything for the welfare of my subjects." Skystar said with determination.

"I will accompany not only to rescue my subjects but also the rest of Equestria." Juan stopped denying and accepted begrudgingly teeth.

"Arrgg is fine." At this Skystsr let out a happy little squeak, Juan found it somewhat adorable.

"Juan I recommend that we start tomorrow, it is too late and I have some sleep". Skystar said. Juan just smiled at her adorable yawn.

"* sigh * okay do you have a place where we can rest?" Juan asked while yawning.

"Hehe follow me." Rio Skystar as he led Juan to a small cave.

When they got to the cave, it was a bit dark. Skystar then clapped its claws, and some beautiful lights came on, after crossing a curtain there was a small mattress that seemed just as comfortable as the bed in Juan's room. Skystar then leaned back on the comfortable mattress and turned to Juan.

"I know it's not much but we are safe and hidden here." Skystsr said as Juan organized his things and took off his armor.

Then Juan took off all his armor, remaining only in boxers. Skystar looked at him and sometimes seemed to lick his beak at the sight.

"Well, tell me what is the origin of this cave?" Juan asked as he lay down on the mattress next to Skystar.

"Well this was kind of like my playground, when I was a child I and my cousins Silverstream and Terramar used to play. Then I made it what it is now." Skystar said.

"I see". Then Juan got organized on the mattress.

"Sleep well Skystar." Juan said as he grabbed the blanket and gave his friend a friendly smile.

"Sleep well you too." She told him with a smile too.

When they were already a little asleep Juan noticed that Skystar was shivering with cold. Juan then grabbed the blanket and put it on top of the chilly hippogriff. She then stopped shaking, Juan smiled, and then went back to sleep.

"Our heroe". Skystsr whispered in a low voice, after which she fell asleep as well. And with a smile.

Canterlot

Ezequiel was watching the view from one of the destroyed showcases in the throne room, his eyes were fixed on Ponyville, the town was in flames and the ponies were being taken as prisoners from the town. But his tranquility ended when a certain android entered the throne room.

"My Sir". Craid said as he entered the room.

"Craid Situation Report". Ezequiel exclaimed as he made his way to his android.

"My lord, he is here." Then Craid stepped aside to reveal two soldiers escorting another android. This had the appearance of a robot with blue armor, its face was very similar to the face of scientist Albert Einstein and on its right shoulder pad it had the emblem of the resistance.

"You finally decided to cooperate, right Wheeljack?" Ezekiel asked. The android now known as Wheeljack lowered his head in disappointment.

"Yes my lord". Wheeljack said. Ezequiel and Craid smiled.

"Perfect. Craid take him to the dungeons, he will be in charge of guarding and monitoring the prisoners." Ezequiel said as he looked at Craid. Craid then nodded.

"Yes my lord". Then he turned his gaze to the soldiers and Wheeljack.

"Take it away." Craid said. The soldiers nodded and took Wheeljack into the dungeons. Craid then followed the soldiers.

"When will you finally let me do my revenge on Cadance?" Shining Armor's voice came who just entered the room.

"Everything will come in due time Armor ... when the magic is finally drained from her and the other princesses ... you can do whatever you want with her." Then Ezekiel turned his gaze to the rest of Canterlot. Shining only smirked.

"I can't wait for the moment anymore." Armor said smiling.

Meanwhile in the dungeons. Wheeljack was escorted by Craid and the two soldiers. Then Craid opened the doors to the dungeon entrance. They all directly directed their gaze at Craid and the other soldiers. But many were surprised by the new visitor.

"Oh no ... not here too." Wheeljack whispered in surprise.

"Leave him together with the most important prisoners." Craid said. Then the soldiers chained both of Wheeljack's hands to the bars of the cell where the princesses, the girls and the other leaders were.

"This was not part of the Craid deal." Wheeljack said as he tried to free himself from his chains.

"It's just a small precaution for me to try anything. Rebel piece of metal." Craid said. He then left the cells leaving Wheeljack in chains.

Celestia and the others found nothing of malice in this new android, Celestia noted that the android had been forced to serve the corrupt.

But what she didn't know was that Wheeljack was an old friend of Juan's. But the truths will soon come out.

Hello guys. I came back. I know this chapter was somewhat short but I hope it has been to your liking.

The only reference in this chapter is Wheeljack himself which is based on the character of the same name from the Transformers franchise.

By the way, Wheejack's appearance is based on his appearance in the movie Transformers 3: Darck Of The Moon.
