" Wait! Can we talk about this? Whoa! ". Trixie tried to ask her girlfriend to stop before having to dodge a flying vase that Starlight Glimmer threw at her. The fury of the unicorn mare was making trying to talk impossible, which would come as no surprise for all those who witnessed the last show of the Incredible Trixie, which unfortunately for Starlight, was the whole town.
" Please Starly, let's talk this down before one of us gets hurt, and when I say 'us' I mean 'me' specially because you-Holy Celestia! ". The magician pony had to jump away as a powerful blast stroke the spot she was standing just a second ago.
Trixie poked form behind a column. " Seriously Starly, tone that down or you're gonna kill me for real! ".
" Don't worry about that, I'm not shooting to kill, just to hurt you badly enough so that I can drag your cheating flank all the way to Tartarus and throw you at the hooves of the bug Queen! I want to see just how much love she can extract from you, but after what I saw, after what EVERYPONY in PONYVILLE saw today, I doubt there's much in there! ". Starlight's roar reverberated all around the walls of the Friendship Castle.
" Co-come on Starly-! ".
" DON'T, call me that, you think that by using my pet name I'm going to forgive you? How do you think I feel, uh? How?! There I am, first row seat, ready to see my marefriend's magic show, just like the rest of the town, the curtains rise, and instead of seeing you performing some new trick, I see you doing the same bucking thing you did not even a year ago! Only, instead of cheating on me with one mare, you double down with those bucking musicians! I, I think I even heard Vinyl moaning, but she's supposed to be mute! What the buck Trixie! WHAT, THE, BUCK?! ".
" Heee, would it helps if I say that it was Octavia who did Vinyl moan and not me? ". Her answer came in the form of another blast. " Ok! I see you're in no shape to talk, but how about a hug, uh? You like those, right? Haaaaa! ".
Another blast almost burned her head. " YOU! YOU! You, you broke my heart, I, I hate you, I hate youuuu! Whaaaaa! ". Starlight ran away with tears flowing like waterfalls, she ran and kept running, looking for a place where to hide while Trixie stood behind.
" Better get be her time, maybe a day or two so she can vent, I'll give her three because I'm a patient marefriend ". From behind Trixie a small popping sound was heard, she turned around and found Princess Twilight and Mayor Made there, their faces already indicating trouble.
" Uh, Hey girls, looking for Starlight? ".
" No Trixie, looking for you ". Said Twilight.
" You have made quite the ruckus Miss Lulamoon, there's a huge number of violations that you have to answer for Miss, among them: Public disturbance, Public Indecency, breakage of contract and, well, let's just say that my mouth would dry up before I could finish with all of them ". Said the Mayor.
" Ugh, yeah, that sounds like a lot and I don't have the bits to pay for all of them so, what's gonna by this time, prison? 1000 hours of labor in Sweet Apples Acres? Cleaning the entire town? Listen to Pinkie Pie's songs for a week? ".
" No Trixie, this time is more serious than that ". Said The princess.
With a flash and another pop, the lord of chaos Discord appeared, he was wearing a black mask and wielding an axe. " Oh goody! My very first torture session, and with non other that Cheatxie herself! This is gonna be fu-u-un! ". Crying almost as much as Starlight, Trixie was sentenced to pay for her crimes.
After the entire town was witness to the act of deprivation the three mares engaged on, there was no place Starlight could go that she wouldn't be recognize as the mare that was cheated on by her marefriend, she could go to 'Your town' but with a few of the residents traveling between the two communities it would be just a matter of time before them too could learn about it, but more that anything, Starlight needed a place where Trixie couldn't follow her, a place where she could find quiet and serenity to heal her wounded pride and shattered heart, then an idea came to her.
Hurrying around the hallways of the castle, Starlight reached the room she was looking for, using her magic she unlocked the seals placed in it, behind the door was one of the most mystical artifacts in all Equestria, invented by Princess Twilight herself, located in this sunroom was the mirror that connected this world with the human world where the former apprentice of Princess Celestia, Sunset Shimmer was currently residing.
" I'm sure she won't say no if I stay a few days with her ". Confident that the redhead would accept her with open arms. Starlight activated the magic that powered the mirror, the process was tiresome but quick, a few minutes after activation the surface of the mirror changed from its natural reflective ability to its wormhole-like ability, and with that the path to the human world was now open.
Starlight moved a leg toward the mirror but stopped, she turned back to the door as her thoughts went to Trixie, for a split second she considered going back and forgive her stupid cheating marefriend, but just for a second, she remembered how last time this happened she also promised it wouldn't happen again, and here she was.
" Buck it ". Her mind made up, she jumped inside the portal.
CANTERLOT HIGH SCHOOL...
Just as last time, the trip through the dimensional tunnel was like that time that Discord made them ride over flying pigs after defeating Chrysalis, Starlight managed to hold the contest of her stomach inside.
Once she got her nausea under control, she looked for Sunset or any of the human version of her friends, but the school area she could see looked deserted, in fact the outside area was just the same, not a single soul could be seen walking inside, outside or around, there was not a single one of those yellow metal carriages that moved students to and from the school, the school was empty.
" Where's everypony? Could they be back on their houses? ". She worried for a few minutes, that was until she remembered the way to Sunset's apartment. Feeling better she hurried along the busy streets of the city, it took her 15 minutes walking before arriving at the apartment complex, she made her way through the maze of numbers and doors until she found the right one.
Excited, she knocked, waited, and knocked again, then a third time, then once more but now her nervousness was neck high, by the fifth time a door opened, but it was the door of the next apartment.
" Oh hello, if you're looking for the redhead girl you're out of luck sweaty, today is when CHS has one of those field trips ". Said the lady from the apartment.
" A field trip? Now of all times? ". Starlight asked, about to have a meltdown.
" Those trips are a long standing tradition in this City, why I remember when I was going to school, the trips back then weren't as interesting as-!? Where did she go? ".
Crestfallen, sad, angry, tired and now hungry as well, Starlight was just about to break down again. Her options were reduced to either hold on somehow until Sunset returned, which could take several days, or, sucking everything down and return to Equestria to suffer been under the eyes and whispers of the whole town and risk the chance of killing Trixie if she showed her face near her.
She didn't like either option but at least the last one would give her some satisfaction, suddenly, her thoughts were broken when the loud horn of a truck startled her, said truck stopped just a few inches shy of hitting her.
" Ya ok miss? ". Asked a deep voice from the inside of the cabin, at the sign of no answer the driver jumped out of the vehicle to provide help for the paralyzed girl. The sight of a tall, blonde, muscular human approaching her intimidated her more that the metal monstrosity that almost ran her over.
" Hey! Are ya ok? Are ya hurt anywhere? Please answer me miss! ". With so many shocks in one day, Starlight's mental fortitude finally broke like an over flooded dam, with eyes rolling back, the girl fainted.

" That'll be all for the day But Mac, thanks for the hard work and say hi to Granny for me ". Said the owner of the small restaurant as Big Mac finished with his deliveries for the whole weekend.
" Not a problem Mister Smokey, but your message will have to wait 'till Granny returns from the school's field trip, they'll be gone for a few days ". Big Mac responded as he jumped back in this truck. " See ya ".
Big Mac drove away from the restaurant and back to the main streets of the city, as he did so he double checked his list of chores just to make sure he wasn't seen things, his list was completed, no big tasks left, no repairs or clean ups, no harvesting or refilling the silo, there were small things to do but he could do those with his eyes closed and in less that one hour, in other words, he had the whole weekend for himself, with his sisters and Grandmother gone he could do anything he wanted on the house, but what exactly?
Before he could dwell further in the issue the next light came in for him to advance, turning around the corner he came about the school and passed in front of the parking, the buses were long gone by now and the school was empty, the whole personal including the Principal and her sister were gone with the rest.
Big Mac remembered his own trips back when he was a student and a chuckle came to him, those were right times having to work and study at the same time but he was glad his little sisters didn't have much of that problem.
Passing another intersection the truck ran near the apartment area, Big Mac was about to reach the next light which was in green when a girl walked in front of him. " Shit! ". His boot sunk the pedal all the way to the bottom to avoid hitting the girl head on, thankfully, he wasn't driving too fast otherwise the crash would have been unavoidable.
The truck came to a stop just a few inches away from the girl, quickly, Big Mac jumped out of his truck and went to see if she was ok, his own fears from maybe hurting the girl making him act rash and intimidating. Twice he asked if she was ok but the girl didn't respond, her eyes looked red and afraid, but more than that, sad. Then, just like as if someone had flipped off a power switch, the girl fainted.
CLINIC OF DOCTOR CHAIN LINKS...
" Just passed out? No other injury Doc? ". Mac asked the family doctor.
" Not that can be seen so far, although her blood pressure may be a bit erratic for the next few days, she's ok But Mac, I'm sure she's wake up soon ". Said the doctor while finishing the paperwork.
Suddenly, the door that lead to the patient's room opened and Starlight walked out surprising both, however, she was still weak and the third or fourth step she almost fell but She found herself in the arms of the human from before. She tried to free herself believing to be in trouble with the human but Big Mac now free from his panic was able to calm her down. " Is ok missy, yer not in danger, Ah brought ya to a clinic so that the doctor could check ya out ".
Starlight looked around and saw the human wearing a white lab coat and glasses that gave him away as such, confirming that indeed she was not in danger, at least not immediately.
" Mah name is Macintosh, and Ah'm very sorry that Ah almost hit ya with mah truck but ya walked on the road with a red light, do ya feel anything wrong? Are ya in any pain? Anywhere? ". Mac asked while holding her as if she was made out of class something that made her feel weird but not in a bad way, she thought that it may have to do with the fact that it was skin on skin contact with no fur in between.
" Ahem, It would seem you're fine now but I would like to check your vitals before letting you go ". Starlight followed Dr Links through the process and was soon enough she was allowed to leave, however, now came the worry of how to pay for the doctor's services.
" If she's fine to leave then Ah'll take her home, ya can charge yer fees to mah personal account Dr Links, and thanks for yer help ".
" Your welcome Big Mac, be more careful now Miss Glimmer ". Starlight nodded and followed the blonde man outside of the clinic in silence, her mind mind trying to assess the situation so far.
" Excuse, by, by any chance, is your name Macintosh, from Sweet Apple Acres? Brother of Applejack? ". Starlight asked.
" Eeyup, the same, are ya one of mah sister's friends from school? Ya look a bit older for High school ". Mac asked in return.
" I... Ah ". Before answering, Starlight's strength left and she almost dropped to the floor but once more Big Mac got her before that could happen.
" Ya ok? Should we go back with the clinic? ". He asked worry.
" No no, I'm, I'm fine, just weak, haven't eaten anything the whole day. I was supposed to eat with my mar-with a friend, but she stood me up ". Starlight once more felt a tingling sensation been in the arms of the human Big Mac, she also felt her previous emotions of anger, disappointment and despair coming back remembering what Trixie did.
" That's so? Then Ah can take ya somewhere to eat then, it'll help ya get yer energy back and... never mind, let me take ya ".
" You, you don't need to, I'm not that hu-?! ". The loud growling of her stomach shut her up in that moment. " Lead the way please ". Mac took her into his truck, at first she showed hesitation at riding inside a metal carriage that almost killed her but she once more, her stomach pushed her forward.
Once inside, Big Mac brought th truck to life and begun the drive home, for the first few minutes the trip was carried in silence but it was broken with another growling from Starlight. " Guess I'm hungrier that I thought ".
" Reckon so, wait, let me see if Ah still have one of those here, maybe in the glove compartment? ". Big Mac stretched his hand and searched until he found what he was looking for. " Here, this will help ya out until we reach mah house ". He handled her a fruit bar that she started chewing immediately.
Big Mac watched her from the corner of his sight with curiosity, a few things clicking about her that were pointing to an odd suspicious, when he saw her finish the bar he asked.
" Are ya, do ya came from the same ' place ' as Miss Shimmer? ".
" Sunset? Yes, you, you know about what that ' place ' is? ".
" Colorful ponies and magic, right? ".
" Ye-yeah, in simple terms yes, did Sunset told you about it? ".
" Nope, Ah heard it from Applejack, way she described sounds like a very happy and cheerful place ".
" Yes, very happy ".
The tone of her voice was pretty odd for Big Mac, it was obvious that something was up with her but before he could inquire further they arrived at the farm. Big Mac walked out and helped Starlight do the same. He took her inside the house and into the kitchen.
" Take a seat Starlight, Ah'll have something ready in minutes ". The equestrian did as told and sat down on the long table, she watched as Big Mac moved from the fridge to the counter and from there to the stove without saying further word, something that she expected been that the Big Mac from Equestria wasn't much of a talker either, a few minutes later that kitchen was bombed with the smell of home cooking, the smell was so appealing that her stomach released another growl of approval embarrassing her once more.
Big Mac turned to her with a little smile. " The food will be ready soon, it'll be good, Ah promise ". Somehow, listening someone saying the word ' promise ' put her in a sad mood, all thanks to her little confrontation with Trixie.
While she waited submerged in self thought, her eyes were distracted by the sight of Big Mac's back, the young man walked from and forth of the stove, his movement wasn't erratic, nor fast, not slow or even impressive, yet, something about him was kind of hypnotic for Starlight, she kept watching, this time with more focus, trying to find out what was that her eyes were glued to.
The chime of the oven went off. " It seems ready, let see ". Big Mac bended forward to inspect the food and right then, Starlight had her answer. Her eyes couldn't avoid been draw to his posterior that was now all but displayed for her, through the thick fabric of the jeans Starlight could identity the most prominent of the muscles located there, the gluteus maximus, flexing in all his glory.
It took a bit for Starlight to realize what she was doing and compose herself but to her horror the true was still printed in the red of her face and the speedy beat of her heart, she was staring to another being's ass, a being that wasn't her marefriend, a being that was male.

" Ah! Got it out, uh? You ok Starlight? ".
" Ye-yes! Why of course! Everything's firm, I-I mean fine! Fine is what I tried to say! ".
Big Mac tilted his head in confusion but didn't dwell on the topic further. " Ok then, let's dig in, yer gonna love mah Granny's cooking ". Big Mac served for both of them and Starlight immediately stuffed her mouth full, part to satiate her hunger and part to remove further impure thoughts.
The lunch was as good as she expected from an Apple family member, even a human one, the food was not only delicious but it had that family touch not many could pull out. After removing the plates, Big Mac served her slice of pumpkin pie with topping cream.
" Here, hope ya like it ".
" I'm sure I will, thanks Big Mac ". Starlight tasted the dish and couldn't stop the smile that came to her, the sweetness mixed with the spice almost melted her taste buds.
" Ah'm glad to finally see ya happy, even if just a little ".
" What?! ".
" Hmm, Ah know ya were scared because of how we meet, but Ah could also see a sad impression mixed with ya, it's still in ya but not as hard, something really bad happened to ya not too long ago, right? ". Big Mac asked with a soft tone.
Starlight flinched at having her emotions read so easily, specially now of all times, she was here to forget not to revive her pain. " Sorry if Ah intruded too much, not mah place to ask for yer personal life, but, if Ah can help ya in some way, not matter how small or big, ya can ask me with out compromise ".
Starlight remained there, not sure of what to say or do, but she was glad Big Mac offered his help, she just give him a simple nod of appreciation. After lunch was over the two moved to the living room where they rested, Starlight thought that he would remain silent until she sparked conversation again but it was him who started it.
" So, ya know that Sunset and the rest of the girls are gone for a few days, right? ".
" Yes, I just found out, my whole intension was to spend a few days with her, of course that included logging and food, but now... I just don't know ".
" Hmm, couldn't ya go back to yer world and come back when the girls come back? ".
" I, I, I could b-but... ". Her expression became sour immediately as she struggled to find an explanation of why she didn't wanted to go back without revealing her little horrible chapter.
" Ok, seems to me yer in a pickle, yer also a friend of Applejack, so have 'bout this, ya can stay with me while the girl return from their trip, that way ya don' to back and ya don' starve off on the streets or get run over by someone else, what do you think? ".
It took Starlight a good chunk of time to figure out what was going on, Big Mac was offering her a perfect solution for her predicament.
" Are you? Are you sure? Can I stay here? ".
" Ah don' have any problem with, mah plan for the weekend was to just lazy around but it was goin' a o get lonely soon so, better have some company, right? ".

" I see, well, if ya don' mind me as a guide Ah could show ya around ".
" It's perfect ". The clothes were just as she expected, country style and with apple motifs here and there, a knee length skirt and an undershirt paired with a brown blouse, the size of the clothes was just a bit bigger for her but she worked that out with ease by tying the tips of the blouse, a quick pass of the comb on her hair and she was ready for the movies.
As Big Mac told her, he was waiting patiently in the porch of the house, Starlight was surprised to see that despite not taking a shower himself he looked eye catching, his faded blue jeans were replaced by new black ones and his flannel shirt was gone and in it's place was a dark blue shirt with it's long sleeves rolled back, his hair was just slightly combed and by the smell he threw some cologne in, the fragrance was mild and sweet making it appealing to the nose. The whole change made it hard for Starlight not to stare a bit more that she needed.
" Stop it! You just came from a mess up with your partner, not the time to be searching for another one, much less one from another world ".
" Yer ready? ". Big Mac asked smiling.
" Yes, hm, thanks for the clothes by the way, wouldn't Applejack mind me using them?".
" Nothin' to worry, she won't, and if by any chance she does Ah'll handle it ". He told her without breaking his smile, which made her feel flattered and moved at the same time, she couldn't remember the last time Trixie made her felt important in their relationship. " Let's head out then, hopefully we'll find somethin' good to see ".
As the truck took them to their destination, Starlight used the time to think about how things came to end in such way with Trixie. While she wouldn't deny that her relationship with her was pristine and proper she couldn't call it completely horrendous, even from the beginning their relationship started with Trixie using her to get back at Twilight for their confrontations in the past, although they worked things out in the end that was the first sign that things between them wouldn't be normal.
Their first big fallout came about a year after they made their relationship official. Until that point everything was going fine, as fine as it could based on both of their quirks and kinks, by then Starlight was very open in her status as marefriend to another mare, relationships between same sex creatures was not framed upon after all, she had come to love and tolerate Trixie's eccentric and self-centered behavior while the magician was comfortable with Starlight's neurotic and mood-shifting antics, even in intimacy they had learned what got the other one off and how to make each other enjoy their life, then, it happened.
FLASHBACK...
Starlight never really witnessed first hoof what transpired, but by now it was undeniable that Trixie cheated on her for the first time as the year of been together came about. It Started with Trixie coming back to Ponyville a week earlier before her third ' Grand and Powerful ' tour would finish.
Her early return was nothing strange since her second tour ended up one month before the planned schedule for low budget and also because she didn't know she was ' Wanted ' in one of the towns she passed through, result of getting in trouble in her first tour.
In any case, when she and Starlight met back, Starlight noticed how nervous and scared she was, every time Starlight would ask what happened or why was she back sooner that expected, she would go into a nonsensical rant or give vague information, she also asked very afraid if she has spoken with Rarity recently. Starlight thought that the question was pretty weird.
" She is on vacation with her family, she's is suppose to be back in a week or so, uh why? ". Starlight answered.
" No-nothing really, j-just curious, he he, he he ugh ". Trixie said as she sweated buckets.
As time went on Trixie became more nervous, then finally the day when Rarity would come back arrived and Twilight invited both mares to go and give her the welcome.
" Why don't you want to go? Everypony is going, even Discord will be there ".
" No I, I have, I have some stuff to take care off, why, why don't you come with me? We c-could eat outside, it will be fun ". Trixie's voice was almost cracking.
" Outside, like a picnic? ".
" Outside like, outside of town, matter of fact, why don't we go to that town of schmucks you convinced of give up on their Cutie marks, maybe I can convince them to give me their bits! ". Trixie started to pull her toward the nearest exit when she told her to visit the place of her worst stage in life.
" Tri-Trixie?! What's gotten into you? ". Starlight asked worried and confused.
" It didn't went all the way I swear! ".
" What?! ".
" No, nothing! I mean nothing, nothing got inside of me! Any part of me ".
" Trixie, you're not making any sense, is there a reason why you don't want to see Rarity? ". Starlight used her telekinesis to root herself in place, even with full strength Trixie couldn't dislodge her.

" That's not it! ".

" Yes Trixie dear, why don't you tell Starlight what's going on ". Both mares turned around to find the door open and the mane six present, Rarity on the front, they all spotted different gestures ranging from embarrassed (Fluttershy) to serious (Rarity) from disappointed (Twilight) to angry (Applejack), and finally from sad (Pinkie) to vicious (Rainbow Dash) all their eyes were directed to the white haired mare.
" Rarity! Everypony! What's going on here? Can somepony explain? And why are you looking at Trixie like that? ".
" He-hey girls, ple-! ".
" Zip it you no good toothin' snake! How could ya cheat her like that?! Why I should-Hey! ". Rainbow stopped Applejack from advancing against the trembling Trixie who by now knew why the country made was fuming mad.
" Easy there Applejack, I too want to knock some sense on her but weren't calling the shots here, this is her business ". Now all eyes shifted to Starlight, the mix feeling they were sending her combined with what escaped out of Applejack's lips was now becoming a lump in her throat that would expand as Rarity started her explanation.

" Ye-yes, actually, I was trying to go and greet you with Trixie but..? ".
" She tried to refuse, didn't she? ". Starlight nodded, she took a look at Trixie who was just watching at her hooves in shame. " So, it just so happens that one of the places we visited was Stalliongrad, we would spend there the last days of our vacation before coming back, it was actually Sweetie Belle who found out that Trixie was performing on the city at the same time ".
" So, I went with Sweetie to see her show, we did so, after that we asked the attendance if we could speak with her and say hello, we were allowed and directed to her room ". Her serious face morphed for a few seconds to anger as the memory returned vividly. " Sweetie Belle was very excited so she rushed in without knock first, she found Trixie alright, her and, a friend, another mare, doing... doing things that my poor little sister could not comprehend, things that weren't proper for a filly to see ".
" Take a guess at what Sweetie Belle saw ". Rainbow Dash said.
" Starlight, I think you should-! ". Twilight spoke for the first time but Starlight interrupted her, by now she knew what the whole thing was about, every little detail coming together like a jigsaw puzzle that finally had a form.
" Trixie, di, di-? ". The words were almost impossible to get out, her mouth felt dry and the lump in her throat was close to choke her. Her eyes stung with the pressure of tens of tears wanting to exit, her heart felt like a lemon about to be squeezed until no drop of juice was left. " Did you cheated on me? Did you do it with another mare? ".
" Trixie? Did you? Trix? ANSWER ME DAMN IT! ". Starlight yelled out loud with enough force to burst an artery. Trixie, in shame and embarrassment, used her teleportation spell which failed 7 out of 10 times used, but to her luck, this was one of the 3 that worked.
With the object of her anger and sadness gone, Starlight fell to the floor trembling, she doesn't know when unconsciousness claimed her.
END OF FLASHBACK...
Just like in her memories, her eyes became red with tears of pain, she could feel the cold trail her tears left, another tear ran down the same path but it was instructed by something, Starlight saw Big Ma retreating his hand with which he used to catch the tear, his face was full of concern for her, she still didn't know why but in that moment she wanted a hug more that never before, without asking, Big Mac gave her one.
