Rainbow Dash is about to attempt her most epic stunt yet, the fastest vertical dive ever attempted, which will make history in Equestria. But tragedy strikes, and Rainbow Dash crashes. She is badly crippled, and will never be able to fly again.
Rainbow's world is turned upside down by the incident. She struggles to come to terms with what happened to her. In addition to losing her wing, she suffers permanent brain damage, which contribute to her falling into a deep depression.
As everything Dash loves falls apart before her eyes, her psyche shatters and she begins to lose grip on her life. Rainbow is pushed over the edge of sanity, and she begins a long, painful descent into madness, ultimately resulting in actions so heinous, some ponies may not even consider them physically possible by pony kind.
Can her friends save her before it's too late? Or is Rainbow Dash too far gone from a tragedy that ultimately wasn't even an accident?
