Chapter 1: Helpful, Hopeless, Heartbreak
The sun shined brightly against the cottage roof. It blazed. Discord was over for another tea time with Fluttershy. Fluttersly was in the kitchen when she looked back at discord and blushed. She felt like it might soon be time to tell him… Discord . It took her months to realize her feelings for discord. BEcause she never felt romance before. Looking back at discord she noticed his sandwiches were eaten so she decided to bring out more crusts for him.
“Discord…” She mumbled as she wandered to his chair,” i want to show you something in about two weeks..maybe”. She smiled a most glorious smile to discord.
As fluttershy spoke, she kept her eye on Discord’s furry chest. With each breath his chest expanded and fluttershy could feel her heart skip a beat each time. Discord’s physique was mesmerizing… GOD-LIKE to fluttershy. She wanted nothing more but to spend the rest of her life with this beast of a man. Hunk MASTER. Through all her confuzzled thoughts in her head, she forgot she was just standing there, dazed and silent for 3 minutes straight, staring at all discord’s beautiful features.
“I…” Fluttershy began to collect her thoughts.
“Yes fluttershy?” Discord spoke abruptly.
Discord had been sitting there for about ten minutes and wondering why flutterfly keeps watching him.
“Fluttershy, is something wrong? You keep watching my chest, perhaps you wish to see-” discord was interrupted by fluttershy's meek voice.
“i just noticed a fly near you” she proceeded to open the window for this nonexistent fly to leave.
”hehe” she laughed.
Discord got up and stretched his multi-animal limbs as he began to float. His worm-like body turned to the door and looked back to fluttershy.
“Its about-” he was so rudely interrupted again but by a different pony, one of light lavender and smelling of cellulose from wood pulp.
“My word…” Discord was enchanted. This nerdish, book pony had stolen his attention away from fluttershy. He was captivated by her silky, straight locks of mane and large, shining, indigo eyes. He’d never seen anything more beautiful as this mare standing before him.
“FLUTTERSHY ITS URGENT!” Twilight almost choked on her words as she brought her sweet pet owl into the shy cottage. “Just a few minutes ago he started choking on a mouse and i don't know if he's ok!” tears formed on her eyes as the books on owl conditions fell from her bag and the limp bird laid there in the grasp of her magic.
Distraught by both discord now ignoring her, and her dear friend’s injured pet, Strigiformes, Fluttershy rushed to twilight’s aid, She exclaimed with fret “Oh dear, let me have a look at the poor thing!”
She grabbed the owl from betwixt twilight’s magic and began performing the heimlich maneuver on the medium bird, but, it wasn't working! His feathers compressing beneath her hooves and a sweat coming from her brow, fluttershy huffed in a panic.
Discord was unimpressed with fluttershys form and decided that he shall be this brilliant ponies knight in shining armour, he reached for the owl and wiggled his bird like fingers and phased threw the owls jugular and removed the mouse, reanimating it in the process. It ran away.
“There, there, the owl is fine” he smugly remarked.
Twilight ceased her weeping. She thanked discord and thanked fluttershy for trying .
Discord was a bit depressed by her lackluster response to him saving her, possibly best pet, if she didn't consider that dragon one anyway.
After the purple horse exited the cozy home, fluttershy glanced over to discord who was showing a mix of disappointment and curiosity towards that pony.
“My dear, fluttershy” discord said, turning to her with a growing smile on his goat face. “I think… I think i'm in love.”
And with those words, Fluttershy's heart SHATTERED. She could feel each piece fall to the pits of her stomach and her eyes felt weak as though she would cry, sob uncontrollably. However, she held those feelings back as a new emotion arose. It was hot, it was heavy.

Heartbreak in the Cottage
Chapter 2: Plans, Plots, Planting
Twilight looked into the mirror of her room, her eyes heavy with unease and doubt.
“SPIKE GET IN HERE”, she screamed.
He meekly stumbled in, “yes twilight”.
“Its fluttershy… I can't stop thinking about her” The blood rose to her face as her cheeks brighly turned red. She kicked a trashcan in Spikes direction. And he jumped out the way, certain peril.
“Twilight you know i don't like it when you do that” he meekly
“I’m so sorry, Spike, I'm just so infatuated with fluttershy that it's causing another episode.” That was a lie, she just likes kicking trash cans at Spike. She grabs another bottle from her cabinet, a pill bottle labeled “nortriptyline, anti-anxiety” and took a few. She composed herself.
“Twilight, you shouldn’t take too many of those, you know what the doctor said…” spike said worrisome.
“Yeah, spike, I know what he said. I'm very obviously smarter and the student to the princess!” she said with sarcasm.
“I have this… idea… but i don't know if i can pull it off.” twilight announced as she looked up.
Spike’s pits started to swell with sweat from fear of this upcoming idea.
“You see, if I want to go to Fluttershy's house, I need a reason” she stared into his eyes, pondering.
Twilight’s eyes lit up as she explained the plan, she wanted to choke spike. Obviously, spike was reluctant, but before he could have his word twilight’s magic scooped up a nearby rat and shoved it down his throat. Spike began to flail, he was in a panic.
“ SPIKE! SERIOUSLY? All I do for you and this is how you treat your mast- MOM?” twilight sharply retorted, proceeding to huff.
As twilight yelled in spikes stupid face, he gagged up that rodent and exclaimed, “OWLUICIOUS! WHAT ABOUT OWLICIOUS?”
Spike was gasping for any air he could get his little gross claws on.
Twilight glared at Spike, “finally a good idea from your disgusting trap”.
Her magic grabbed the bird and the rat and like the master student and masterfully combined the two, However she knew fluttershy would question why she didn’t research owl cures prior so she scattered to the shelves of her tree home and grabbed many a books on the subject as she could and stuffed them aggressively into her bag.
And with that, she ran out her home and slammed the door behind her. She was off to get Fluttershy's ‘help’ .
Twilight arrived at her beloved’s cottage in the forest. She could feel her heart racing and she became unbearably nervous. She took a deep breath as she tried to compose herself.
“Let the show begin…” she muttered to herself, before she rammed into the door of the flutter home.
Standing before her was the strange chaotic beast man and… the love of her life.
She began her master act, sobbing uncontrollably and acting as if she doesn't know what happened. While fluttershy began her process. Eventually discord twiddled his fingers and “save” the day, this disgusted twilight, getting in the way of her plans? She honestly cared not for her bird however this act for fluttershy was imperative.
After she said her goodbyes, she left the cottage feeling somewhat achieved and also as though there has been some sort of change, a spark even, in her relationship with the yellow pegasus. Twilight thought to herself that she really made an impact . She went to her tree house and dropped the owl there, telling Spike to clean up any mess it makes. She proceeded to leave and head to Rarity’s to tell Rarity of her achievements, as she and the diamond dazzled horse had a very close relationship… leaving out any possible abuse accusations.
PERSPECTIVE CHANGE ~Futtershy~
A loud bang could be heard from the once cozy cottage. Grunting and screaming.
“OH FOR CELSITSIAS SAKE” fluttershy wailed as she flung plates and utensils at the walls. Smashing and crashing fragile objects in her fit of rage.
Fluttershy’s tantrum shook the house, her screaming was nearly breaking the windows around her and the fierce, angry rage emanating from her aura could be felt and was scaring her animals. Angel sat in the corner of the cottage living room, cowering in fear, stared at the scene unfolding in front of him with his gaping eyes. He was mortified. Just then, fluttershy whipped her head around in angel direction and sternly flew to him, grabbing hold of him and began to pet his head in frustration. It was a rough petting, but Angel thought it best not to react in an honest manner as it may upset the fragile, winged horse.
“Oh Angel, i am so upset!” She gushed, she was so mad about discord’s proclaimed love for twilight that she was visibly trembling. “I really thought I had something with discord… but then Twilight had to mess that up for me! I mean what does she have that I don't!?”
Fluttershy was nearly sobbing, all she wanted was Discord’s love but she couldn't even have that. Then a switch turned on in her head. She remembered how Discord mentioned that he could never love someone who smokes horse tobacco and connected that memory to the close relationship Twilight had with Rarity, who in the process of losing her dear sister to a loose landmine from the Equestrian war, took up the bad habit not long after. She thought that mayhaps she would be able to find something incriminating hiding in Twilight’s home.
Fluttershy quickly grabbed a camera and rope ladder from a junk chest and proceeded to walk promptly to twilight's domain. Looking at the faintly greening tree, the lights were off, an indicator that twilight was not currently home… perfect. Fluttershy grinned a most mischievous smirk. She proceeded to fly up to the small balcony and rattled the doorknob. Within the safe home she could see spike, he was promptly cleaning the library while simultaneously caring after the recently injured bird.
Fluttershy slowly opened the balcony door, “creeeeeak” the sound traveled through the treehouse. Luckily enough, Owlicious was unconscious and Spike was too distracted by housekeeping to have heard the shrill squeak of the door.
She snuck in, tip-toeing across the room as flying would most definitely get her caught. She started rummaging through Twilight's bedroom, checking every nook and cranny. That's when she found the pill bottle however no horse cigarettes. Tsk. This would not do, this made Fluttershy sick as a parrot. She had to go the extra mile and… plant them herself.
Just as she was about to leave, she heard spike howl. “HEY!” Fluttershy jolted, knocking the pills into her satchel unknowingly. She thought she was caught for sure. She cautiously began to turn her head when he exclaimed, “OWLICIOUS! DON’T DO THAT THERE”
It seems as though it was just the owl waking up from his day long slumber and was now doing the unmentionable in the corner of the room.
“Great, now I have to clean that or else twilight is going to GET me.” Spike spoke panically in a cold sweat. He was irritated, but fluttershy was relieved. Fluttershy collected herself and quickly and quietly snuck back out of the way she came in.
Fluttershy started to head to the once bountiful cake shop, the minor attack on ponyville really blundered everything up. She looked to the run-down shop and walked in, pinkie greeted her a bit more gloomy then the once bright cheerful pink pony would.
Pinkie started,”So, fluttershy, whatcha need from this ole shop here” she tried to make a genuine smile but it just wasn't the same... not after mr. Cake was drafted and mrs. Cake ended up in that coma…
“I need some horse tobacco..” fluttershy declared in a bad mood. Pinkie noticed the disappointment in her voice.
“What's wrong, fluttershy, are you addicted now or sumthin? You know when I'm sad i just take a little bit of this'' Pinkie showed off her newly formed blunt while handing some horse tobacco to fluttershy.
Fluttershy sighed. “not now, pinkie.” she looked to the door and tossed some bits at the table. Then she promptly left the decrepit building.
As she headed to twilight's house to plant the horse tobacco she saw owlicious flying away from the treehouse. Spike leapt through the door to chase Owluicious, yelling out his name to try and get him back. In his haste to obtain Twilight’s beloved owl pet, he rejected to make sure the door was shut.
Fluttershy smiles a most devious smile, this was the perfect timing. She waited for Spike to get a good ways away before strutting into the Sparkle home. She walked to twilights living room and placed the horse tobacco on the table, she got out her camera and started taking pictures when DISCORD WALKED IN.
“TWILY I HAVE ARRIVED WITH A MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWER BOUQUET,” he announced with pride but then he looked before his eyes and seen not his beloved twilight but… fluttershy? Taking pictures of horse taccabo in twilight's home?
“Fluttershy, what is the meaning of this??” he confusedly spoke.
“d-discord… it's not what you think!” she stuttered, scrambling to explain herself but the damage was already done… Discord knew.

Chapter 3: Pill Poppin' Pony
The dim lighting of the natural light leeming through the doorway lit the room slightly, creating a small hallway of radiance leading towards Fluttershy. She was shocked, frozen in place. Her eyes began to swell and a mix of sweat and tears ran down her yellow cheeks.
“Fluttershy… i can't believe this. How, out of all ponies, could you be planting those disgusting substances in another pony’s home. Nonetheless, Twilight’s, the pony who stole my heart!” Discord scolded, his disappointment displayed on his face. He felt betrayed, his best friend, incriminated an innocent pony.
“Discord, I-” Fluttershy stammered. She was trying to figure out a way to explain herself, a way to portray herself as the better being. Alas, she came to the conclusion that coming clean would be the best option. Maybe if she told the truth Discord wouldn't despise her as much for it.
“Discord, I’ve been wanting to tell you for so long now that I’ve grown feelings towards you. The more time we spend together the larger the flame in my heart grows!” she passionately exclaimed. “It’s filled with so much burning affection for you that it hurts me, it HURTS inside, Discord. I need you to know. I LOVE you, and seeing and hearing you love another mare kills me inside.”
She quietly wept as she cleaned her face from the tears, “I just thought that if I could show you that Twilight isn’t all as great as you thought she was, you’d forget about her and pay more attention to me!” she tried to explain herself, but it was all for naught.
Discord scoffed at Fluttershy and frowned the most angry frown. Fluttershy had never seen him this angry. “I don't want to hear it, fluttershy! You betrayed me and on top of that you put a pony’s reputation on the line. You seriously think I would ever LOVE you after this? You are sorely mistaken.” he dropped the bouquet he had brought for the lavender horse and stormed out of her home, leaving Fluttershy in the dark.
Fluttershy was left in the dreary room, alone. She never believed it could happen, but she could hear her heart break again, she was depressed. All that was left in that house now was regret and the quiet, sorrowful sobs… of that small yellow pegasus.
Fluttershy headed to Pinkie Pie’s, possibly the only pony who could console her. She tried her best not to sob on the way there but when she finally arrived she could no longer hold her moist tears. As she walked through the bullet shot, once pink door her tears burst from her turquoise shining eyes.
“Fluttershy? Whats going on?” She excitedly said, pinkie looked wired.
“Oh pinkie, the worst thing happened!,” She sobbed, but continued, “discord HATES ME”!
“Oh pinkie… your not even paying attention to me… nobody is…” She snivelled.
Pinkie pie walked up to her and wiped her tears and gave her a sad smile. She grabbed a freshly made blunt and put it in her hooves.
“Just try one of these flutters.. first ones free” Pinkie said as she slurred her words and gave her a looped smile.
Fluttershy made a face of disgust, “Pinkie Pie i can't!,” but then… she stopped and took the blunt and smoked it. She took a large inhale. Fluttershy could feel the smoke enter her lungs and her chest felt tight. She ended up coughing. COUGH COugh. Pinkie gigglied, and took fluttershy to the basement. The basement is where all the weed was growing as the bullet holes on the roof made for good lighting and ventilation. In the room you could see the remains of previous party supplies and her precious party canon. The party canon was repurposed into a weed canon. Fluttershy questioned why pinkie brought her here.
“Pinkie, why did you bring me here?” Fluttershy questioned while she thought about how pinking pie brought her here.
Pinkie smiled “because i want to give you this…” Pinkie went to the table and gave her a special baggy. The bag was filled with mystery drugs, nearly like a tester care package, that fluttershy would soon become very close with. After a while of talking, Fluttershy went back to her once cozy cottage, now darkened with scattered food utensils and shattered glass that was never cleaned. All the animals hidden away in their once maintained houses.
Days passed, weeks passed… Blunts became powders, powders became needles. Fluttershy, the once timid and compassionate pony was nothing but a husk of her previous self. Her substance use became outrageous. The addiction became all that she was. This caused her to become desperate as her continuous stream of drug supplies from Pinkie became thin and paper thin and dry. Soon, Fluttershy had realised there was nothing left, she needed some fresh coosh. She grabbed whatever bits she had left, as the drugs had been using up the only money she had, and rushed off to her beloved cake shop.
Fluttershy could hear the high tinging of the bell as she stumbled through the door, almost too weak to open it up. Had they reinforced the door as they were supposed to or… was it something else?
As she entered the disheveled shop, she could hear the crying of two small babies and hurried hoofsteps coming from upstairs. “Oh no, Pound Cake, it's okay- AH! Pumpkin Cake, please drink your bottle-” Pinkie said burdened, as she now had the responsibility of both the shop and the twins of the Cakes. “W-We’re not open, please LEAVE.”
Pinkie emerged from the stairs, pound cake in one arm, pumpkin cake in the other and… her stomach now protruding from her body. Pinkie was with child. “Oh Fluttershy.. It's… you.” she said, the dismay seeping from her face. The disappointment in her voice was so clear and thick you could cut it with a metaphorical butter knife.
“Sorry, pal, but I’ve kinda got my hooves full right now, having to care for these twins and being pregnant, with that soldier who saved our lives, baby and all.” Pinkie said with intent.
“But, Pinkie, I need my fix!” Fluttershy insisted.
Pinkie had been there through Fluttershy’s whole addiction, she had seen the toll it was taking on her. Pinkie was worried for her friend’s health and well being and quite frankly didn't want to put up with it anymore as it was too much even for her. As they spoke, Pinkie would decline, expressing her feelings about how she didn’t want fluttershy’s to go any further downhill as she already was. Fluttershy pleaded and begged with all her strength, but Pinkie Refused and kicked her out. It was for the best.
Fluttershy dragged herself back to her now sloppy, drug ridden, cottage and sat herself down. She felt herself wanting to vomit as though the withdrawal had already kicked in. she began to reflect. How did this happen? How did it get this bad? She remembered Twilight… She remembered Discord . She whimpered and wailed as those memories haunted her. She didn't want this pain anymore. She didn't want to be in a world where she felt so depressed and helpless. Angel jumped up next to her to begin to console her when he knocked her satchel. Something had fallen out of the bag. Twilight’s pill bottle.
Fluttershy neighed, as her crying terminated. The bottle caught her eye and she squealed as she found a little bit of hope, finally something to get her mind off it. She grabbed the bottle and popped open the cap.
~~Discord pov~~
Discord floated above one of his chairs as he took a sip of his glass. He was remembering how he would be eating sandwich crusts with his once dear friend fluttershy on a day like this. He was saddened.
“Wow i was kinda mean to Fluttershy…” Discord looked down as if he was ashamed of his previous behaviors before looking back up and exclaiming,” I suppose I shall make it right, i shall apologise”.
Quickly after he opened a portal to equestria and soared through to Fluttershy's cottage. He opened the door and to his dismay he saw the body of his once dear fluttershy, limp and cold, laying next to her the empty pill bottle. She was barely breathing, her skin was tinted blue near her lips and her pulse was scattered. She twitched. Discord was horrified.
“Fluttershy you're not breathing! Are you ok?” discord freaked. But no response, all Fluttershy could hear was swirling noises.
He wormed next to her body and twiddled his fingers once more like he had for the owl and delved into her stomach but alas… nothing, they had been digested. Discord grew a sweat and his heart began to race. He was unable to save his friend. Looking around him he saw the bunny and pointed in the direction of the phone, “ANGEL, CALL 911!” Angel’s ears twitched and he tilted his head, he didn't know what was going on. “CALL 911!” Discord yelped.
Angel ran to the phone and did his best to call an Ambulance. Discord held Fluttershy close as the ringing of sirens could be heard coming closer.

Heartbreak in the Cottage
Beep beep beep the monitor went, Discord crying in a chair closest to the bed holding fluttershy's hoof. Fluttershy felt awful… but even in her unconscious state, the fact that discord was holding her hoof made her feel a little bit better. Discord looked at Fluttershy’s sleeping body with a worried stare, he was reflecting on his actions. How could it come to this? Was this all his fault? The idea that he could have lost his dear Fluttershy to his insensitivity scared him. It tore at his heart and he began to weep harder.
As the beeping from the monitor filled the room, Discord heard a shuffle. He wiped his regretful, anxious tears from his glistening, yellow eyes and looked up to see some life coming from Fluttershy. She was waking up. A soft gasp came from Discord’s mouth.
“F-Fluttershy,” Discord said with a coarse voice, his lips trembled as the emotion began to set in.
Fluttershy started to feel the warmth of Celestias’s sun softly beating on her fur through the window. She started to look around, her crusty eyes started to focus on the familiar, tape-worm like shadow. She tried to speak, however, the three days of not talking did not help her already raspy voice.
A quiet rasp arose from fluttershy's vocals. At first incomprehensible but within a few seconds she could now speak. “Dis..cord… your here…” she stared.
Discord’s glossy eyes stared back but blinked, just once, as he started, “Fluttershy… how do you feel?”. To be honest Fluttershy felt awful, not only from the overdose but also her overall mind-state. She started to remember all that has happened. Discord… Twilight… that little pill bottle that was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Fluttershy squeaked, “i-i… don't feel… the best”. She wanted to add that she was already starting to feel better though, now that she knew Discord was there. But, it was too soon.
Seeing the concern in Discord's eyes made Fluttershy’s heart revive just that little bit. The feeling of being noticed gave her satisfaction. But then a galloping came from the doorway.
“Fluttershy! Are you okay!? You weren’t breathing!”
It was Twilight Sparkle, distressed about the recent news of the overdose. Twilight hadn't been around due to her paperwork, princess stuff . Fluttershy was NOT amused. She didn't want to see this pony in her room. Let alone around the man SHE stole from her .
Fluttershy rolled her eyes. Just as she thought she would get a break from this succubus , she turns up unannounced in her hospital room. First the OD, now this?
“Oh… Hello, Twilight.” She spoke in an uninviting tone, avoiding eye contact at all costs.
Discord’s ears perked as he recognised the noise to that name. He twisted his giraffe-like neck to the gaping entrance to see the periwinkle mare, storming in and headed to the resting place of his poor, bedridden friend.
The fact that he had taken his attention off of Fluttershy really struck a chord with her. Even after this near death experience, he would still rather pay his attention to HER ? TWILIGHT ? She just couldn’t handle it anymore. Fluttershy’s face visibly became red with anger.
“Oh, Fluttershy, I was so worried about-” Twilight was unable to finish stating her concerns. She was interrupted by a hoarse, shrieking.
“HOW DARE YOU!” Fluttershy, filled with rage and jealousy, used any strength she had at that moment to unload her vexation onto the once dear friend. Trying her hardest to get the words out as it was a bit of a struggle only recently waking up and all.
“W-what?” Twilight stammered. She was confused. Twilight started to think, why was fluttershy… mad at.. Her? Had it been the fact that she hadn't noticed her downfall while she was busy working on war paperwork. Twilight was taken aback, why hadn't she noticed? Fluttershy was right to be mad…. How could she not have noticed.
“I CAN’T BELIEVE IT. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HAD TO GO AND DO THIS! YOU GOSH CLOPPING BETRAYED ME YOU…. YOU … you… YOU HOMEWRECKER !”
“W-What..!?” Twilight… was even more confused now. What did she mean by ‘homewrecker’ ? “What do you mean homewrecker?”
“Flutters, calm down please. You’re delirious.” Discord exclaimed, grabbing Fluttershy by the horse shoulders and holding back in her hospital bed. She looked like she was about to jump Twilight. “GET YOUR CLOPPING HANDS OFF OF ME, DISCORD.” She screamed.
Discord quickly removed his hands off of Fluttershy as he had never seen her this enraged. Twilight soon butted in, AGAIN, and started, ”Fluttershy, what's the matter? Why are you acting like this!”. All of the power in fluttershys body arose , her face red with resentment and her body trembling.
“TWILIGHT YOU RUINED EVERYTHING , ALL I WANTED WAS DISCORD’S LOVE AND YOU DESTROYED ANY OUNCE OF HAPPINESS I COULD HAVE.” Fluttershy had only started.
Twilight was shocked, that sweet pony that she loves so dearly was not only in love with discord but hated her?
“When celestia told the elements to reform discord, WHO was his first friend, WHO was the only one kind enough to give him EVEN a CHANCE? WAS IT THE PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIPor was it ME?... What have you EVER done for him? Why DO YOU deserve him?” Fluttershy continued. Twilight was heartbroken, she could feel the strings around her heart sharply and violently be splintered by her loves words, her tears started to flow as she looked to discord then to fluttershy.
“FLUTTERSHY, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?” Twilight cried out, each word fluttershy said was like a sledgehammer to her soul.
“Dont play stupid, aren’t you supposed to be Celestia’s most prized student or is that a lie just like how you were supposed my friend?” Fluttershy popped off, spit spraying from her horse mouth.
Twilight’s ears flicked back, her eyebrows flared, she was distraught. “F-Fluttershy, please. If this is about me not visiting until now, I-I’m sorry. I was just so caught up with princess duties that-” She stopped as the frazzled Fluttershy interrupted her again, hissing as she spoke.
Fluttershy scoffed, “Playing stupid again twilight? Is that how you got discord to fall in love with your loathsome personality? You said you would always support your friends and look at how that turned out, all you can do is drive your friends away. Rainbow dash went to the war to get away from you, Applejack doesn't even talk to us anymore, have you even checked up on Pinkie Pie? The only pony you managed to keep around is Rarity and all she does is use you for princess title. So why don't you leave and TRY to make some new friends to steal from instead of stealing from your old friends . Discord is MINE, go get your OWN man.”
“Ladies, please, stop fighting. I’m sure we can calmly and quietly sort this out.” Discord whimpered, he didn't want his best friend and love to fight. He tried his best to defuse the situation.
“This CONVERSATION DOESN'T INCLUDE YOU DISCORD, MIND YOUR OWN CLOPPING BUSINESS.” Fluttershy shrieked, her stare could kill as it had done previously.
Twilight’s heart dropped, she felt sick as she finally realised what Fluttershy was trying to get across. She gulped, her tone went soft as she spoke with a breaking voice, holding in her tears.
“Oh, I see… So you love discord, huh?” Twilight didn't want to admit that Fluttershy didn't have feelings for her. “W-Well, easy solution. You just have to FORGET about him! He was never good for you anyway, and I promise I would treat you so much better. I mean, I am a princess. We could live happily and you could stay with me in my tree castle, and I can get Spike to obey your every whim.” Twilight thought what she had offered, her love, her home, would be a done deal for Fluttershy but she was gravely wrong.
Fluttershy was appalled, not only did she blatantly tell twilight that she loved discord but she had the audacity to confess her shameless love for her? Fluttershy almost quaking, “Twilight, do you not understand? I HATE you. You're a burden on this planet and had we lived in a world where you weren't born, equestria would have been a better place. Every breath you take is another ounce of oxygen wasted. Even Tartarus wouldn’t be a good enough punishment for your mere EXISTENCE.”
Fluttershy almost howling, ”Twilight, I wish you were DEAD.” her screaming ceased as she took a break to breath.
Hoofsteps could be heard darting towards the room. Nurse Redheart and two large male ponies stormed in, “This patient needs to be sedated! Quickly now, pin her to the bed.” Redheart said in a hurry. It had seemed as though the patient next to Fluttershy, that they had forgotten was there, had been rapidly buzzing the emergency nurse call button.
As the male nurse ponies pinned her down and injected Fluttershy with the sleepy elixir, Redheart turned to Discord and Twilight, furious. “You two need to leave, you are disturbing the patients. Come with me I will escort you out.”
And with that they were forced out of the hospital, leaving things on a bad note.
Discord arrived at the library home, weeks later, eager to do right by both ponies. He knocked on the door and Twilight hesitantly answered.
“Discord, what are you doing here?” Twilight questioned. After what happened at the Hospital a while back she wasn't really aching to see the worm-like, goat man.
“I just came to help organise your library… I feel bad for… what happened and wanted to try and make things right!” He said, hoping she would accept. Twilight did have a pretty big shipment of war books come in to update her shelves so she didn’t see any harm in it.
“Fine.” Twilight sighed, she was hesitant to let him in and help but if letting him would get him out of her face quicker than she may as well… right?
The princess of books and the god of chaos went around, sorting the books but letter and colour, category and volume. It practically took all afternoon. At last, the final book that was to be put away, laid in Discord’s griffon and lion hands. They searched for the spot it was to be put and finally found it. The very top shelf. Many feet above where they could reach.
“Twily, mind holding the ladder for me?” Discord asked politely. As this was the last book, Twilight agreed just so he’d get out of her skin.
She held onto the ladder as discord climbed and climbed and climbed. Sliding the final book in its place. Finally. It was done… but then, as discord was about to climb back down his hoof slipped and he began to fall.
“AHH!” they both screamed. Thankfully, they were both okay. However, discord had landed on top of Twilight, practically pinning her down. His hands near her head and their faces meeting by near inches. Discord blushed, his face felt hot and his heart raced. Twilight, not so much. She cringed and looked away. Suddenly the door squeaked open, they both looked to the opening of the tree home to see FLUTTERSHY ENTER!
Fluttershy had been seeing the shrink for several weeks now. She was learning new anger management techniques to calm her down when she felt as though she would snap, along with a stress toy or two. She had come to formally apologise for her behaviour all those weeks ago.
“Twilight, are you home? I want to talk to you. I need to apologise for-'' She stopped in her tracks. She was paralysed by the site unfolding before her.
Fluttershy’s stance unfolded as her eyes locked with twilights’, “ for NOTHING”. Her face contorted to the most angry scowl.
“Fluttershy, I-I can explain!” Twilight said, pushing discord off of her, as discord fell to the ground she began, “it was-” she was interrupted as fluttershy started.
“I was going to apologise today, however just like usual you had to screw that up, right twilight?” she glared. Fluttershy stomped furiously to twilight, slowly making twilight back up to the book filled walls. Twilight now combined will the wall was now face to face with the furious mare, staring daggers into her purple eyes, as she could not go back anymore.
“I leave for two months to find you SLEEPING WITH DISCORD? I left to better myself and all you have done is stoop lower then you already have!” She balfed. Discord got up and slowly backed away, he was horrified.
Twilight’s sweat began to run down her face, her heart full of fear. Fluttershy bared her teeth, snarling the most furious snarl. She screamed and spat in Twilight’s face. Twilight could feel Fluttershy’s breath blasting against her face, almost like a hot rain, she sat there frozen in place. Why does this keep happening!?
As their screaming reached its climax, a loud bash from the door could be heard. It was none other then ponyville's faithful mailpony, Derpy Hooves, her face contorted, filled with fear and sorrow. Her eyes, one staring to the north and other to the south glossed over as she exclaimed, “RAINBOW DASH IS DEAD”.
The room stopped. They all whipped their heads in Derpy’s direction as the mood of the room shifted from fear and rage to a mourning sadness.
“W-what…?” Fluttershy’s soft voice returned as the realization of what had just been said and it began to sink in.
Derpy handed Twilight the opened letter. She began to read… “K.I.A” she stopped and dropped the letter as tears from her moistened eyes started to drop to the floor.

Heartbreak in the Cottage
Chapter 5: Moments of Silence
Celestia’s sun shined bright as the little woodland creatures chirped and scurried around ponyville. It seemed as though it was like any other day, however, that wasn't the case as within the Ponyville Church of Celestianity; erected by Twilight Sparkle to revive and give hope to Celestians during the war, these hopeless times; where the funeral of the honourable Rainbow A. Dash, a general in the Canterlot Military, was being held. Pews and pews were filled to the brim with ponies close to the general. Standing near the open casket was her right hand mare, Scootaloo, now an amputee wearing a scratched up prosthetic leg, with her chin up, chest out and stomach in she stood in silence to honour her fallen comrade. Scootaloo, who saw General Dash as a sister, mother even, held her tears back to represent the soldier’s bravery in her last moments.
Rainbow laid restful and stiff. She almost looked peaceful but the embalming left her almost puffy. Nevertheless, this is the calmest she had been seen since the war started. Within the pews of ponies you could see her war comrades, her friends, and her family. Windy Whistles, on first appearance seemed calm, almost denying that her daughter's corpse was in that casket. However Bow Hothoof, Rainbow’s father, was violently sobbing next to his dazed wife.
Near the front of the pews was the remaining of the mane six. Pinkie Pie, deflated, held the Cake's twins in her arms and her newborn foal in a stroller in front of her. She held the babies close as she tried not to cry, Rainbow wouldn't want that.
Rarity sat next to Pinkie, holding Sweetiebelle’s urn in her hoofs. Unlike Pinkie, Rarity was VIOLENTLY sobbing, mascara running down her white, pale face. First her sister, now Dashie? She wasn't sure she could handle it anymore.
Applejack had just arrived, grasping the handle of the wheelchair, pushing Applebloom next to the pew as she sat on the chair between her and Rarity. Being here was mind shattering, her wife's dead bullet shot corpse in the casket before her was too much. However she tried her best not to sob uncontrollably for Applebloom’s sake.
Fluttershy sat at the end closest to the aisle. This couldn't be reality. She knew Rainbow since she was a young filly, the mare who defended her honour from bullies in cloudsdale was now lying, lifeless AND bullet shot in a wooden box. She didn't want to believe her eyes but the proof was in the pudding, Rainbow? She was dead.
Finally, just before the ceremony started, Twilight Sparkle arrived. Late as usual. She sat near Fluttershy but did not speak as she reflected on what happened the day prior. Fluttershy noticed and she glanced in Twilight’s direction.
“Twilight…” Fluttershy greeted in a most stuffy manner. “I’m not going to make a scene. I am here for Rainbow Dash. Y’know one of my BEST friends.”
“So am i…” Twilight refuted. “It’s a shame that this happened to her.”
Fluttershy turned her nose to her and scoffed, “tsk, you say that but you didn't even get here on time.” Stunted by what Fluttershy said, she became quiet. The chattering in the church hall began to dim as the church father stood before them and began to speak.
“We gather you here today, to honor the passing of Rainbow A. Dash who fought honorably until her last moments.” Father Filthy Rich spoke as he began the funeral ceremony. He went into reminding everyone about who Rainbow was as a pony and how she would be missed, throwing in some disrespectful zingers here and there. He was working on that. Twilight gave him a dirty look.
Filthy Rich noticed the look and cleared his throat, “Moving on, Let us have a moment of silence before some of Rainbow’s close loved ones come up to speak about her.” And as the silence passed, Scootaloo approached the stand.
“Hello everypony, Rainbow Dash was my commanding officer but she was more like a sister, a mother even, too me. I'm incredibly sorry about your loss, so many are here today. Rainbow Dash taught me how to hold a gun and shoot, she taught me how to hide for cover. During the war I learned so much from her. It's an honor to stand by her side even in death… Why couldn't it have been me… if Rainbow had lived maybe we could win the wa-” Scootaloo was pushed off the stage abruptly.
After Scootaloo was hurried off the stage, other close attendees went up to speak. Applejack spoke about her memories and history with Rainbow that resulted in them falling in love. The wonderbolts performed a song in remembrance of their lost retired member. Even Gilda went up and presented a gut wrenching poem she had written about her old, life long friend. Many tears were shed and sobs wept until the ceremony was over and they had moved onto the reception.
As the ponies attending mingled, the mood in the room didn't change. In the corner near the cider was Applejack, downing pints of that sweet, sweet apple acre brew one by one, Rarity by her side as she comforted her, both crying and wailing tears of rivers as they went. Scootaloo accompanied Applebloom, the now crippled Apple family member, sharing her yarns of war tales. Applebloom didn't want to hear it but what could she do? She couldn't speak or move, all she could do is endure. Pinkie, now reunited with the soldier who saved her and the twin’s lives from the enemy’s attack and also the father of her new baby, embraces and Pinkie silently sobbed. Surely, it would be okay to shed just one tear for Dashie now.
Twilight looked around as she took another drink of water, she saw Rainbows parents and walked up to them. Windy was still calm but seemed much more down, as Twilight talked, she began reminiscing of Rainbow Dash's accomplishments.
“And when Rainbow Dash had to clear the sky, I helped her out,” Twilight proudly said. Windy smiled and seemed pleased to be talking about her precious daughter, Bow continued to cry. That's when Fluttershy overheard, and headed over to correct Twilight.
Fluttershy furiously but calmly said, “ Actually she cleared the sky herself…”. Her eyes squinted with attitude and Twilight scoffed.
“I thought you said you weren't going to make a scene.” Twilight spoke faintly aloof.
“And I thought today would be the one day that wouldn't be all about ‘Princess Twilight Sparkle’ but I guess we were both wrong.”
Twilight turnt her nose to Fluttershy, her face looked as though Fluttershy had just committed treason. “Unlike you, Fluttershy, I'm actually talking about our dear friend Rainbow Dash in a positive manner. It's not my fault she hung out with me more...“ She remarked snarkly.
Fluttershy’s face contorted and her eyes widened with pure confoundment, she was livid, she didn't understand how Twilight could say such a thing. “You say that but then brag about crap you didn't even do… at a funeral… of a celestian MILITARY SOLDIER… I MEAN COME ON, TWILIGHT, ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!?” the more Fluttershy would ramble, the more her head would fill with incandescent rage.
Everyone stopped. They turned their heads to the scene unfolding, shocked. Twilight felt bad, as this was the mare she loved and cherished but seeing as Fluttershy made her point and she had a reputation to hold up as a mature, almost godly royal, she forced a smirk and a small titter before she let the words fall through her lips. “Now now, Fluttershy. Calm down, you're making a scene.”
That was it. Fluttershy was beyond mad… Twilight has the audacity to say SHE'S making a scene. Twilight turned away and addressed the crowd of ponies who began to stare “alright everypony, who wants to hear more stories about my friend Dashie?” she proudly announced.
“Twilight, you stuck up, nerd horse, shut your damn mouth and respect our dead friend! Get your pointy, horned head out of your PLOT and stop thinking about yourself for once.” Fluttershy turning the attention back onto her, blurting. She was fuming. “Our friend is DEAD and you just keep making it about yourself!”
Twilight barely turns her head to Fluttershy and she scoffs, “like you’re one to speak, I mean, look at you now.”
Fluttershy could feel something inside of her snap. She had been pushed too far. She tossed a chair at Twilight and she dodged. Since Twilight was a royal princess she couldn't just fight back in front of such a grouping of ponies, she had a reputation. Twilight tried using reason, but it was useless on the enraged pegasus.
“Fluttershy this is USELESS” Twilight screamed.
“SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP” Fluttershy screamed. “YOU’RE NOTHING BUT AN ATTENTION SEEKING, MAN STEALING SLUT!”
As twilight continued to dodge she let out a forced chuckle, “Oh for Celestia’s sake, GET OVER YOURSELF, FLUTTERSHY! You can't really think you're above me when all you are is a drug addicted, manic WHORSE!”
THAT was the FINAL straw. Fluttershy now nearing the casket, just wanted Twilight to shut the clop up. Fluttershy in her blind rage, and Twilight nearing, pushed the casket at her. A gasp filled the room, including screams as the body of Rainbow A. Dash lay limp out the box.
Her body contorted and her mane laid back revealing a bullet wound in the middle of her forehead. The crowd was HORRIFIED. As the ponies clambered to the body a creak from the door could be heard. A bright light was now emanating from the door. The radiance from the enormous door dwindled as the towering silhouette revealed itself. It was none other than Equestria’s ruler, Princess Celestia.
She looked around at the scene, as the ponies around her one by one began to stare, realising who was standing before them. They all began to bow except for the two fighting ponies and Applebloom of course since all she could do was sit in her wheelchair. She gleamed over them and stared before gently coughing to get their attention.
“What is the meaning of this?” Celestia demanded in a booming yet silky voice. Everypony shivered in fright and backed away from their Princess. Twilight soon noticed and bowed as she tried to explain herself.
“You see, Fluttershy has recently been having these episodes and this has got to be the WORST one yet,” she nervously told Celestia, sweat pouring from her face. An eerie silence now haunted the church halls.
This now put Fluttershy on the spot and she apprehensively started to speak, “That's wrong, Twilight started all of this. First she stole my love, Discord, away and slept with him on her floor,” Celestia looked at Twilight with disgust at the dirty remark Fluttershy made. “and now s-shes making lies about Rainbow Dash for power . Your student has been acting so… REPULSIVE RECENTLY!”
Celestia examined the scene, seeing her personally appointed royal general’s dead lifeless body slowly slipping out of the casket onto the oak paneled floor. Fluttershy’s hysterical appearance and the miscellaneous items scattered on the ground. She began to understand what had happened. Celestia whipped her wings open and stood up tall. “SILENCE.” Her voice traveled through the steeple. She used her magic to freeze the two ponies in their place.
“Guards, take Miss Shy into custody. We will prepare to send her off to the ward immediately, she is clearly not sane enough for the public.” As the guards arrested Fluttershy Celestia glared menacingly at Twilight. “As for you, my so called perfect student. I am GRAVELY disappointed in you.” with that the glowing dimmed as she left the church.
Fluttershy was taken to the Ponyville Psyche Ward and it did not look like she was being let out anytime soon. Celestia's guards soon took hold of Fluttershy, she screamed and thrashed about trying to be let go but it was no use. A slight murmur could be heard from the attendees as Fluttershy's screams from outside could not be heard. Twilight, now with a torn heart from losing her love and losing her teacher’s respect, began to weep. Now the purple alicorn was alone. She had nothing left.

Heartbreak in the Cottage
Chapter 6: The Final Countdown
Manic laughter and eerie murmurs traveled through the ward’s cold, hollow hallways. Ponies from all around Cantalot and Ponyville that were deemed too unfit to live amongst the public were sent to this ward to be rehabilitated or at least attempted to be. The less fortunate are kept in the ward’s custody for the rest of their lives. It had been nearly two weeks since the incident and within those metallic, lunatic filled walls, sat Fluttershy, restricted and bound in her room from her hysteric state.
She had calmed down since her last mental breakdown but she hadn't felt the same since. She felt as though the stress and trauma of what transpired had morphed her mind, her being, into something repugnant. She sat in her small, isolated cell, left to drown in the void of her fragmented psyche and forlorn, darkness filled heart, wishing wishes unobtainable in her state of getting out to see her beloved, wishing wishes to get away from the havoc her indifferent ex-friend had caused.
The web Twilight had created, intertwined with truths and lies and delusional hopes, twisted fates and events had created a new, almost grim mindset for Fluttershy. It was as though she was unable to tell what was real anymore. As though she couldn't differentiate reality from whatever sick dystopia had been created through all the grief and heartache.
As she sat there, lost in her thoughts, the thunderous rumble of the sturdy ward door could be heard. The infamous warden pony marched in, two large nurses by his side. “Miss. Shy, You have a visitor, come with me.” He addressed, queuing the nurses to escort her from her room to the visitation area.
Making sure they had a good grasp on the formally neurotic Fluttershy, they guided her to the visiting room where a single visitor sat. One friend, the only friend she had felt she really had left. Spike.
The guards sat Fluttershy in the chair across from Spike, in which an awkward silence replaced the guards. The guards said she had thirty minutes to speak and left the room with a loud thump from the door. Spike stared at Fluttershy and began to speak.
“So… Fluttershy, how are you?” he uncomfortably spoke. Fluttershy’s tired eyes looked at everything but Spike. She exhaled and said nothing. This made Spike sigh.
“Fluttershy… we only have like 28 minutes left. It took alot to even come here” he looked down and Fluttershy began.
“Hi Spike…” She finally looked at him, her once bright, turquoise eyes looked almost void of life. “So why did you come here, i-i mean… i'm glad you're here it's just…”.
“Well you're my friend fluttershy, one of the ones who actually cares about me anyway… It's been a while and I wanted to see you again,” he gave Fluttershy a small smile.
“What is Twilight doing,” the dull yellow pegasus coldy asked. This made Spike make a disgruntled face.
“The usual, I guess. She still tosses trash cans at me. Nothing really changed.”
Fluttershy spoke, “Even in my situation, I pity you, spike”.
“Gee, thanks…” Spike rolled his eyes. As he looked down, he watched his hands in his lap twiddling his thumbs. “Man… what is wrong with our friend group, it’s such a mess.”
Fluttershy let out a soft giggle, “Yeah.. but it’s our mess.”
They both began to laugh together and a sigh slipped from both their lips, they shared a sorrowful silence that filled the room.
Spike muttered something which prompted Fluttershy to ask what he said.
“Ah.. nothing” that awkward silence loomed over the room again until Spike said “ I mean, I just said I sort of wished Twilight was the one to die instead of Dash.” He let out a small laugh. “Maybe that's going too far…” his laugh receded and he sighed.
The door opened and a guard loudy announced, “FIVE MINUTES LEFT” and closed as fast as it had opened.
Within the few minutes left, they laughed about shared memories and events. But all that lingered on Fluttershy's mind was what Spike had said. Eventually Spike left and the guards dragged Fluttershy back to her prison.
In the dark, cold room Fluttershy's broken mind raced. Even with the loud screams and cries from outside her door, all she could hear was silence and those words Spike spoke so casually. She laid in the stiff, rigid bed for hours on end as Spikes words warped her brain. Her brain started to wander as Luna’s night began. Within Fluttershy’s dazed sleep the only thing she could dream of was killing Twilight… Everypony would be so much happier without her right?
First she could reclaim Rainbow's honor, how Twilight lied about Rainbow at the funeral is unforgivable! As her thoughts jumbled together it was almost like she could hear Rainbow’s voice.
“Fluttershy, just do it… just kill Twilight” Rainbows disembodied voice rang in her head.
“I should- Wait… Rainbow?” Fluttershy was brought back to reality to find herself staring face to face with Rainbow A. Dash. She felt like this couldn't be happening, but the thing that claimed to be Rainbow Dash continued.
“You heard me Fluttershy. You should just kill Twilight. You said it yourself, equestria would be better without her”.
Fluttershy softly responded, “Well yes... but i'm stuck in here while she's on the outside…”
“Well all you have to do is be on your best behavior, you've been doing that your whole life anyway.”
“Well, Rainbow, I don’t think it's that easy-,” Fluttershy continued.
Meanwhile a guard walked by, he heard Fluttershy talking to herself and scoffed. He looked through the window of the door and the small light that illuminated the room was blocked by his head and Fluttershy looked to him and stopped speaking to Rainbow. The guard walked away muttering something about upping Fluttershy's dose.
Rainbow sighed and started, “first order of business, Don't speak to me in front of the guards Fluttershy.”
“Well, what should I do, Rainbow?” Fluttershy's eyes widening and she smiled deviously to the blue, translucent pegasus.
Rainbow gave her a list of things to do, like be on best behavior and other things to show the doctors that she was indeed sane. “Trust me, Fluttershy, this is all part of Twilight’s devine punishment for all the sins she had curated.”
~~~Three weeks later~~~
Fluttershy's plan had been working perfectly these last few weeks. The doctors claimed she was miraculously recovering from her mental breakdown in a very short time. (that's an academy record) Fluttershy was even granted access to the ward’s outside garden.
Within the garden, Fluttershy was preparing her master plan. At 1PM the guards switched out and within the confusion of that Fluttershy could return to her room and take a napbut what would actually be happening would be her escape. Fluttershy had already prepared a fake Fluttershy for her room and it being 12:56pm, It was time. They would be none the wiser.
Within the guards switching out, Fluttershy was gone. And the guards marked her as locked in her padded cell.
Perfect.
She was finally free. Fluttershy raced to Twilight’s home, she had to go through with her plan before the guards realised they were tricked. She arrived at her door set and placed a letter she had written to Twilight prior stating to meet anonymous at the hilltop just outside of Ponyville at 6 o’clock sharp, on the doormat before she knocked and flew off.
Later that night, at exactly 6 o’clock, Twilight had arrived. Against her better judgement she had come alone. She looked around, the wind blowing through the fresh, green grass trying to spot this anonymous admirer when she heard something from behind her. She shifted herself around to see… Fluttershy? She didn't realise it now but this was all part of Fluttershy’s MASTER plan to get her hooves on Twilight.
“Fluttershy… is… is that you? But how?” Twilight questioned as fluttershy approached.
“I need to apologise,” Fluttershy began. “I’ve been wanting to get in touch with you and let you know that I’m so sorry… What I did… it was unprecedented and I realise now that the truth behind how I acted was that I…” Fluttershy began to choke up, she looked away to take a deep breath before relaxing her form and looking Twilight dead in the eye before she finished.
“I-I’m sorry, did you just say you escaped?” Twilight uttered, trying to wrap her head around all this.
“No, I said I got out on good behavior, silly” Fluttershy corrected. “Listen… I’ve been thinking about you a lot recently, I haven't been able to get you off my mind. I realise now that when Discord paid all his attention to you it wasn’t that I was in love with him...it was because I’m in love with you, Twilight. I always have and I didn't recognise my feelings until it was too late..”
“W-Wow, Fluttershy. I-I’m not sure what to say-” Twilight stuttered as Fluttershy got closer.
“Then… don’t say anything. You know my feelings, and I know yours… so…” Fluttershy softly remarked, looking deep into Twilight’s eyes.
Twilight was nervous, her heart pounding as the one she loved stared so passionately into her eyes. Those eyes almost like turquoise gems, glimmering in the sunset made it feel as though her heart was being recovered by the second. Her face became flushed and her voice trembling, “I-” but before she could get a sentence in she was interrupted.
Being pushed down to the ground, Twilight laid there, Fluttershy pinning her down and for a split second Twilight couldn't process what was going on. She soon caught up with reality as she registered that this pony, this beautiful mare she’s loved for years was now kissing her.HER every notion.
As their body’s became pressed against each other and their lips interlocked in this passionate declaration of love, Twilight’s whole body felt heated and her wings became stiff, to the point that they began to extend out from her body and feathers puffing from the wings. (Is this real? Am… Am I in heaven?) Twilight thought to herself.
Fluttershy broke away, a single strand of saliva stringing from between both of their lips and an almost steam releasing from the both of them. She looked at twilight, half eyed, nearly dazed looking, her face also flushed from their steamy exchange. Her hair drooped down across her face and onto the ground where Twilight’s head laid, Fluttershy looked even more beautiful in Twilight’s eyes now than ever. Almost angelic.
Celestia’s sun started to set while Luna’s moon raised in the sky. The sky's beautiful mix of purple, pink, orange and yellow combined reminded Twilight of her passionate love for Fluttershy. Twilight laid next to Fluttershy, while Fluttershy’s hoof cupped Twilight’s face which made her blush. This had truly been the best day ever for Twilight. Twilight's purple eyes stared into Fluttershy’s turquoise, and Fluttershy moved over to pin Twilight down. Twilight blushed and tried to speak but before she could Fluttershy put her hoof over Twilight's snout.
Fluttershy moved her arm under Twilights head and Twilight started to speak, “oh Fluttershy, I’d been so worried about you recently” while Twilight continued, Fluttershy unbenounced to Twilight was reaching for a knife with her other hoof. “Thanks to you, Fluttershy, this has been the best day ever…”
After Twilight stopped speaking fluttershy began to bore into Twilight as a few words slipped from her lips, “You’re right… this IS the best day ever. “
Before Twilight could say another word Fluttershy plunged the knife into Twilight’s abdomen. Twilight gasped in agony and Fluttershy removed her arm from under her head, leaving Twilight’s head to fall to the ground hardly. She felt the knife be ripped out of her stomach and felt the gush of blood running out of her.
“F-Flutt..ershy, wh-y..” she weakly meeked. Fluttershy's eyes dulled and a grin on her face began. Fluttershy watched as the blood leaked from Twilight's stomach, almost snickering.
“Oh Twilight you silly, stupid slut, This is your devine punishment for ruining my life. Finally… FINALLY” She laughed maniacally. “This is for everything you ever did, stealing Discord, lying about Rainbow, having me sent away to the ward...”. With each point she made, she shanked the blade deep into Twilight’s body, piecing her skin, her lungs, her wings. Fluttershy saw only red as she dropped the knife thinking it was over, watching the life slowly seep away from Twilight’s paling body.
Fluttershy couldn't keep in her laughter, it was as though this was the most fun she’d had in a while. Watching the blood flow from the whore’s body was like a calming waterfall for her and she needed MORE. She reached for the knife once again. Twilight violently coughed and tried to move away but before she could Fluttershy grabbed her leg and pulled her back and jabbed the knife into her once again causing Twilight to cry in agony. She pushed her hooves onto her wound causing Twilight to squirm in complete paralyzing anguish. Her blood now staining the once green grass, she could feel her pulse dropping as the lightheadedness set in.
Fluttershy continued speaking but Twilight was too weak to hear anything but mumbles. She could feel the warmth leaving her body, she tried to think about any way of escape but it was really too late… with all the strength and magic she had depleted, she couldn't teleport… she couldn't move… this was it.
Twilight was betrayed, not only physically but mentally, She almost felt it wasn't the knife being stabbed into her, that was killing her but Fluttershy's haunting eyes staring into her very soul. She felt the pierce of her turquoise, cold eyes slicing into very consciousness.
This was Twilight's end. It was over.
Perfect.
Fluttershy looked to Rainbow dash with a grin on her bloodied face, Rainbow smiled and faded away.
The deed had been done. Her hooves covered in Twilight’s blood, and a haunting, psychotic cackle escaped from her lungs, Twilight’s body laid there limp and drained of life. Joy filled Fluttershy’s heart as she had not felt this truly happy for months, she had finally avenged Rainbow’s honour… she finally had discord all to herself.
“Fluttershy… what’s going on!?” A mysterious, yet familiar voice spoke.
As Fluttershy snapped out of her hysteric state, her smile faded and a traumatic, nearly haunting look took its place. She cautiously began to turn her head, she could hear her own neck creaking in the suspense, and there he was. Before her eyes was Discord, out on his evening stroll. He was MORTIFIED.
“I-I-I… thought you were taken away!?” Discord exclaimed as he began to take in the scene. He looked Fluttershy up and down with his shaking, yellow eyes. He saw the blood staining Fluttershy’s cheeks and hooves. The blood was almost dripping from her mouth. That’s when he looked down. He hadn’t noticed Twilight until now. “Wh… What have you done....”
“Dissy, I can explain-” Fluttershy dropped her knife one last time but before she could continue, Discord pushed her off of Twilight's lifeless body and he wrapped his arms around her. His hands started to become covered with her blood but that didn't phase him.
Tears began to fill his eyes and he looked up at Fluttershy, his face a mix of fear and anger. Now this… this is the angriest fluttershy had ever seen discord. “You… MONSTER.” He shrieked. “Why would you do this!? I loved her and you knew that! You are a sick, SICK pony, Fluttershy. Twilight meant so much to me and you went and killed her. I’m glad they took you to that stingy ward because that is where a murderous psychopath like you belongs!” Those words paralyised Fluttershy to the core and all she could do was stand there.
He caressed Twilight’s cheek. “No...no...nonononono….” Discord held her close, slightly shaking her in the process. “Please...wake up… Twilly, please don’t die on me.” little did he know… she was already gone. stiffening and lifeless, a gentle rain began to pour and discord curled up over her body, shielding her from the rain. Discord too, had a broken heart.
Twilight's blood now being washed off by the rain, stained the ground around them. Fluttershy had finally composed herself and what she had done finally dawned on her. The weight of what she had done loomed over her and she began to disassociate.
While Fluttershy was lost within the catacombs of her mind Discord had called 911 and the police had arrived. The sirens entered her mind and raddled around her brain. Eventually the police cuffed Fluttershy and tossed her into the back of a Police Carriage. Fluttershy looked out the window to see Discord, teary eyed and glaring at her. He felt his eyes piercing through her soul and she faintly smiled at him while the carriage started to drive away.
Fluttershy was being sent to the highest level security prison. There was no court. There was no testifying.
As Fluttershy laid in the hard bed so familiar to the one in the ward the guards started to tie her down. Within seconds of the guards leaving, she heard a voice once again. And felt the piercing eyes of Twilight Sparkle stabbing into her.
“Why did you have to do it, Fluttershy, Why did you have to kill me...” The ghostly vision said to her within the darkest corner of the room.
Fluttershy, tears in her eyes as the room filled with a mix of her manic laughter and hysterical crying, started to realize that this was her devine punishment, Twilight's revenge from the grave.
Fluttershy was now trapped in her very own, personal hell as Twilight's cold eyes stared back into hers.
