"Manehattan bombing kills five. Police have no tangible leads, but believe it may be connected to a recent string of bombings all over Equestria." Geez; I didn't expect something like this to happen. I mean what the heck?! Who does this in their free time?

Meh, whatever. As long as it doesn't affect me, I have no reason to care. The night was young, and somewhere in the far east, the ever so popular "Eclipse Carnival" had already begun. I've never been outside of Canterlot. I heard Twilight Sparkle lived in Ponyville during her lifetime. I have no clue whether or not she's still alive. I've read her journals in order to get ahead of everypony else, and she mentions awakening the Elements over 50 years ago. I'm only in my late teens. Fifty years ago seems pretty far back. I wonder how long it will take us to have robots. More importantly; will there ever be a day when I can have wings?

Seriously; I'm pretty jealous of Luna and Celestia right now. They can fly, and use magic. I stopped for a moment, and grabbed a stick of chewing gum from by saddlebag. Gosh, these saddle things kinda hurt. Not only that, but they feel somewhat kinky. Does this look like an invitation for "a wild ride?"

You know, ion the topic of artificial wings, I think I saw something about it in the Canterlot libraries. The librarians there, being the minimum wage failures they are, had no idea what they were. Since the documents were labeled as resource, I had no rights to borrow them for a weekend or something. Do you know just how hard it was to get Luna to come down to the library with me? Now I owe the two double the chores I had last week. I think the only reason they even bother with me is because of my skills. If I was just an average student, I'd be invisible. Instead, I made it my lifelong goal to become as skilled as Twilight Sparkle. It's always been like this, from the day I was admitted into the castle orphanage, all the way to today.

Once we were there, she told me that long ago, a colt from the east traveled all the way here just to gift the Princesses with these priceless "blueprints." She said he died on arrival, was horribly emaciated, and had suffered from poison, burns, frost, and basically everything else mother nature threw at us. Having spent a thousand years on the moon, Luna couldn't really remember his name. She did suggest however, that I talk it over with Celestia.

Anyways, back on topic. I asked her what they were about, being unable to read whatever the heck these pictograph doodles were. Seriously, what kind of hieroglyphic language is this? All the characters are just piles of complicated lines. The Princess of the Night described these sketches as "plans for perfection." That was what the colt had told her before he died.

On a personal note, she told me such ideals would never amount to anything. Being able to forge artificial limbs is no way to bring happiness and equality. Luna added that they would only serve as leverage for the rich, and as food to the jealousy of the poor. Right after speaking out that last part, she turned away from me, and flew out the building, all the way back home. I don't get her. Was she always this mysterious? Meh, whatever.

So... From what I can tell, these are sketches and rough drafts for artificial limbs, such as wings and a horn. I sneakingly took a picture of the blueprints. Perfect fanfiction material for later.  It'll be about a world where ponies are full of artificial implants, and can't tell apart who's real and who's not. Yeah! That sounds great! Now, how about a name? Hmm... Got it! "Falsicorn" sounds right! Yeah! Perfect combo of False and Alicorn. Man... I love my ideas. I just hope one day, the rest of the world will see my writing genius. Think I'll prepare a script once I get back home...
