Across three different eras in time, a countdown is ticking. The fate of Equestria is at stake, as dark forces from various eras in time are trying to corrupt the future. Each of these malicious acts seems to be part of a greater message: a grand scheme to alter time as a whole, in order to forge a dark, hopeless world.

Summoned as chosen ones by the Gates of Time, Maverick, Lavender, and Disconnection must unite as one, and commence the fight against these various evils.

However, they soon discover the hidden truth about htis world, and its history. The past is built on nothing but racial and physical limitations, while the present is nothing but a cacophony of unreal ideas, "trends" if you will, eating up societal values of old. All there is left of the future is nothing more than a false Utopia, rebaptized as "Neo-Equestria," where everybody is an Alicorn through implants, earning them the nickname Falsicorn. Those who oppose Equality are sent to the Surface, a mysterious place shrouded in lies and deceit.

Inevitably, the Trinity of Time will face a life-changing decision: whether or not the world is really worth saving.
