A Chaotic Hearth's Warming Day

Fluttershy woke up one early on Hearth's Warming day raising her hooves and gave a long yawn. She got up and stretched her back out and flexed her wings, and slowly walked down the stairs of her cottage. The mare looked out her window and saw that things seemed relatively peaceful in Ponyville with snow falling on the ground slowly, and the entire town was covered in a thick, shiny blanket of white. The mare decided to go to the kitchen to make her morning coffee cup and hummed a tune as she did so. Fluttershy turned outside and continued to watch the snow falling all over the town. Everything seemed so peaceful and quiet she spent many Hearth's Warming day mornings like this wholly memorized by the falling snow. Fluttershy continued to sip her coffee with a smile plastered on her face. She then spotted a present under her tree. The gift was wrapped in a bright yellow wrapping paper with a pink bow on top. The present was rather big, and she eyed it coming forward and lifting the tag and reading. "For Fluttershy from Discord. Please don't be mad, but I heard how much you would love to have a foal. Well, I decided to make your wish come true. I am now an adorable baby for twenty-four hours to make your Hearth's Warming Day wish come true. Sorry for not bringing this up sooner, but I wanted this to be a surprise."

The nervous pegasus gulped as sweat poured down her face. "D...Discord, you didn't...this has to be a prank!"

Fluttershy looked around the cottage expecting the lord of chaos to appear out of nowhere. She then slowly pulled the ribbon until it unraveled. The box opened to reveal to her surprise an adorable looking draconequus. He was quite adorable looking with a pudgy belly, with big red eyes, stubby horns, and a little tail with a plain poofy white diaper around his rump and a little dark green colored Hearth’s Warming day sweater with "baby chaos" printed on it dressed over his chest. When things couldn't get any weirder magical tendrils started to pour out, and a playpen appeared in the middle of the bedroom, a sleigh stroller hybrid appeared in the room, the corners of her house were now covered in cushion padding. A room suddenly beside her living room appeared with the door opening showing a small nursery with a diaper changing table. Fluttershy was quite astonished at what just happened to see her cottage transformed in such a manner. But as she looked down at the baby draconequus and placed her hooves over her chest at how adorable the little Discord looked as he sneezed and kicked his legs with his diaper crinkling adorably between his legs. The little lord of chaos whimpered as he began to pee, and the pegasus gulped as she looked around. "What do I do!? I can't change him; I don't have any foal supplies!"

She then spotted a pink diaper bag near the tree and another tag placed on it. P.S you're probably going to need this, written on it.

Upon seeing the diaper bag, Fluttershy stomped a hoof on the ground and shouted, "Ugh, Discord!?" The pegasus took the bag and the baby and laid him down for a change after cleaning him up. The mare sighed as she took the baby Discord to the kitchen. The yellow coated pegasus placed Discord down in a highchair that was also somehow not there mumble, "what do I do? What do I feed baby draconequuses?"

She checked Discord's mouth and saw he had no teeth; he then plopped down on her hoof as he placed his mouth over it. Fluttershy couldn't help but draw as she watched the little lord of chaos start to suckle on her hoof, making adorable suckling noises. Fluttershy dawwed again and giggled as she slowly plucked her hoof out of Discord's mouth as she cooed, "Ok, no hard foods for you...how about some hot chocolate and oatmeal?"

The baby just kicked his legs and made babbling noises as Fluttershy dawwed again. "Oh, you're so adorable! Alright, I'll get to making some breakfast."

The pegasus turned to the stove and started to make oatmeal but didn't notice Discord slamming his little claws on his tray. He shot chaos magic at her making the mare squeak as the oatmeal exploded into torrents of popcorn all over the kitchen. Fluttershy cried out as she fell backward with the little baby lord of chaos clapping his claws as the pegasus shouted, "Hey, stop that, that's a no!"

Discord started to whimper and started to ball his eyes out, wailing as his tears began to fall and flood the kitchen. Fluttershy was quite stunned, looking down at the ground and saw that there was now a pool of water forming around her hooves. "Ok, ok, I'm sorry to stop crying, please, Discord."

The baby draconequus would not stop as the tears continued to pour out from his eyes as he kicked about uncontrollably. Fluttershy slowly wadded across the kitchen towards the baby and hushing as she placed her wings over her eyes. "Where's the baby?"

"There he is!" the pegasus exclaimed as she threw her wings up.

The baby draconequus giggled and squealed as he clapped his claws. Fluttershy then sighed relief. But then he started to whimper, making the mare squeak as she hid her face behind her wings once more. "where's the baby!"

Discord got all wide-eyed, looking around in awe, then Fluttershy flung her wings out and cried out. "There he is!"

Fluttershy cried out one more time. But she saw the baby was gone! The mare looked around drastically for him under the table, looking left and right of her, but Discord was nowhere to be seen!

Then she squeaked as she found him in the pot on the stove shoving popcorn in his face. Fluttershy stomped over and picked him up. "Seriously, Discord, stop that! You're going to choke!"

She picked up Discord and fished out the popcorn from his mouth, then stared right at the little troublemaker and scolded him. "Now listen, you're my charge, and you can't be doing crazy stuff like this; now I need to make you some breakfast."

The draconequus gave a sheepish smile and babbled what she could only describe as an apology. She then plopped him down in his chair and looked around her ruined kitchen. "What to do...I have to drain this water and clean up all this popcorn? But how!? Cleaning all this up will take forever!"

Suddenly a giant wearing a vest with a cloth napkin around one of his paws and hopped over with a mop in his paws and started to absorb all the water and wrung the tears into a bucket. While he used a broom and dustpan started to sweep the popcorn. Fluttershy looked around, seeing everything was cleaned almost instantly. Then the little draconequus clapped his claws and squealing in delight as the mare noticed a note on the fridge; another P.S I'm assuming as a baby I'll be making a lot of messes, so I transformed your bunny Angel into a butler hope you don't mind.

Fluttershy shook her head and grumbled to herself. "Well, at the very least he was considerate enough to leave me some help."

She looked up at "Angel," looking quite dapper in his new outfit and seeming to be much more responsible and obedient. Seeing that Discord's chaos magic caused this, there wasn't much she could do. Still, she had to admit that seeing him like this made her chuckle and respond in a cordial manner. "Alright Angel; please stand by; I'll call on you if I need...um...your services."

The bunny bowed and replied, "yes, madam Fluttershy." He bounced off quite professionally as she then stepped back as she went back to making oatmeal. Discord turned to face Fluttershy's backside, and without her noticing, he flicked a claw. The mare felt something growing in her backside. When she made the baby's oatmeal and squealed as she saw a brown liquid dripping on the ground, she looked down and saw a trail of hot chocolate leading from the counter. "What did you do, Discord!?"

The baby started to cry, putting his claws over his eyes as Fluttershy quickly came over to try calming Discord down. "No, no, it's ok, but you have to stop using your chaos magic like that."

Fluttershy sat down next to the baby draconequus and cooed, "now, hold your little arms up."

Discord did as she asked and raised his pudgy claws upward as she took his adorable little sweater off him and got to see his furry chest and his tiny wings flapping behind him. Fluttershy was in complete awe as she helped strap a bib over his neck. The mare then began to feed the baby draconequus; he kept munching on the oatmeal, getting the food all over the place. The mare laughed as she nuzzled him and went about taking a foal bottle from her diaper bag, then filled it with her hot chocolate with a blush on her face. This was all too surreal for Fluttershy; she always imagined feeding a baby. She just never imagined it qould be one like Discord. Fluttershy continued to have these thoughts run through her head as she plopped the bottle's amber nipple into Discord's mouth and watched him suckle down her milk. After he finished the bottle, he burped out giant pink bubbles from his mouth, which he popped with a claw. Fluttershy watched Discord pop bubbles for a bit. She then placed him in the playpen middle of the room, already exhausted from the crazy morning. She wiped the sweat from her brow and collapsing on her couch as she wheezed, "my goodness caring for a baby is harder than I thought...however, I think I can make this Hearth's Warming Eve more special...my friends have a Hearth's Warming Eve party at Twilight's castle? I think I'll surprise them with you!"

Discord clapped his claws, seeming to sort of understand what Fluttershy said. He then suddenly puked out ice cream all over the playpen. The pegasus gave an exhausted sigh just as Discord began scooping the chocolate ice cream into his mouth. Fluttershy squeaked as she ran over and shouting, "No, don't eat that!"

She pulled the baby draconequus up out of the playpen and wiped his mouth with a cloth wipe. "Come now, that was quite gross little Dissy."

He babbled angrily as he fussed over being cleaned up by Fluttershy. Just as Angel hopped over and cleaned up the chocolate ice cream with his magical mop and bucket.

Fluttershy looked over, wanting to scold Angel for cleaning without her permission as she felt him being her "butler" was quite awkward. She decided against it feeling already exhausted and now seeing Discord's brown coat covered in chocolate-flavored ice cream. Fluttershy sighed and whispered, "thanks, Angel."

The giant rabbit twitched his nose and shook his cottontail before bowing once more. "Of course, madam Fluttershy."

The mare cheeks flushed red after being called "madam Fluttershy" she then picked the little lord of chaos onto her back and exclaimed. "As for you little lord of messes, you need a bath!"

Baby Discord seemed to be quite fussy at this and started throwing a tantrum; she then pulled him away with the baby crying and kicking about furiously.

After being dragged to the tub and unstrapping Discord's diaper and plopped him down in a bath full of bubble bath soap, Fluttershy then began to wash the baby draconequus and scrubbed down by the little lord of chaos and made sure to wash him down. Then suddenly, the little draconequus started to sneeze, and the pink soapy water began to bubble up and turned into strings of cotton candy. The cotton candy poured off the tub in giant froths, with Discord squealing in glee as he started to shove a giant clawful of the candy into his mouth.

"No, stop that!" Fluttershy snapped, getting quite flustered as she pulled the young lord of chaos out of the cotton candy. Before the pegasus could say or do anything, Angel was already cleaning up the mess as he hopped on over as he got out a vacuum from seemingly nowhere, almost like how Pinkie Pie does it. He started to suck up the cotton candy and the bathroom was soon sparkling clean. Fluttershy gave a big sigh of relief. "Thank you, Angel, you were a big help."

Angel bowed and replied, "It was no problem, madam Fluttershy."

Fluttershy then took the young babbling Discord out of the bath and quickly dried him off with a towel. Afterward, she quickly powdered and padded his rump in a new diaper, placed Discord onto her back, and placed him in the playpen. "There, now give mommy a few moments to rest."

Fluttershy collapsed down on her couch once more just as Angel hopped over once again and this time with a mug of coffee and some donuts. "Madam Fluttershy, I think this should restore your energy."

"Oh yes, thank you, Angel." The yellow coated pegasus replied with a smile as she sipped her coffee and munched on the donuts. She couldn't help but mmm at the taste of the donuts, and the coffee was quite rich in flavor as well. Fluttershy continued to have her meal as she watched Discord stacking blocks like a normal baby. It was rather cute seeing the little draconequus trying to use his chubby limbs. Especially when he got up on his hind legs and toddled across the pen in a fresh crinkling adorably as he started to grab blocks and stack on top of the others. Things seemed to be so peaceful as Fluttershy munched on donuts and drank down some coffee after a few hours. The pegasus then looked up at a clock overhead to see it was already noon. Fluttershy gave a deep breath as she whispered to herself. "Alright, if I know anything about foals, they need a nap around this time, and knowing Discord... he's probably going to need a long nap."

"Alright, cutie, time for a nap." The mare cooed as she picked the little draconequus who kicked and whined, making his padding crinkle while shouting, "pway! wana pway!"

"No Discord, it's naptime." She took the little draconequus on her back and walked into the nursery, tucking him under the covers. He kicked and cried, but Fluttershy quickly brought a bottle filled with her milk (which was still hot chocolate) and placed it into draconequus's mouth. He slowly suckled on the bottle once again, and the pegasus just watched with a smile as his eyes drooped from sleep, and he was soon snoring and was in a deep sleep.

"Must've tuckered yourself out using all that chaos magic, huh." Fluttershy cooed with a smile on her face.

She nuzzled the young lord of chaos and then made sure he was tucked under the covers and had a pacifier plopped into his mouth. The mare watched as Discord suckled on his pacifier, watching it bob up and down as he looked so peaceful sleeping. She took a hoof and smacked the mobile above, spinning above, which had little pink clouds with chocolate milk coming out pinned and buffalos in ballerina outfits. The mare watched Discord intensely, making sure he was deep asleep before slowly tip hoofing out of the nursery, making sure she didn't wake him up and when she was outside the nursery she wiped the sweat from her brow, "that was intense."

Fluttershy then heard a knock and squeaked as she flew over and opened her door to see Rainbow Dash standing outside shivering with a Wonderbolt designed scarf around her neck. She looked rather angry and shouted, "it's about time! Ugh, it's freezing out here!"

The yellow coated pegasus squeaked with Rainbow Dash being rather loud, and she quickly "ssshhed," her friend and whispered, "please be quiet; the baby is sleeping."

Rainbow Dash was quite confused as she flew in and saw the foal stuff everywhere, and she scratched her mane. "Um... what's going on here? You foal sitting for somepony?"

Fluttershy gulped, feeling quite nervous about saying this out loud as she brushed her mane. "I... I'm foal sitting Discord…"

Rainbow's cheeks turned red as she burst into rancorous laughter as she thought this was some prank. "Oh mare, you actually got me! Babysitting Discord."

She burst into another round of laughter but seeing Fluttershy's straight face; she slowly got up as she now had a look of disbelief on her face. "You're not joking; you're actually serious."

The yellow coated mare gave a deep sigh. "Yes, I'm serious. Discord turned himself as a baby...fo...for me…"

Rainbow Dash was quite confused and exclaimed, "why!? That's just crazy!"

"I know, but...I...I did always want to have foals...but not right now...but I still always thought it would be nice to care for them...but...I had no idea they would be so much responsibility, more so than with the cutie mark crusaders." Fluttershy explained as she plopped down on her couch again.

Rainbow rubbed her hooves over her mane, seeming to be quite frustrated as she shouted, "but what about our Hearth's Warming day party at Twilight's castle! You're not seriously thinking of bringing baby Discord!"

"Shhh, be quiet!" Fluttershy squealed as they both turned to the nursery, hearing a few whimpers from the crib.

Rainbow Dash bent down and lowered her voice. "Sorry about that, but you can't be serious? I mean, it's Discord; he was bucking crazy as an adult; I don't want to know what he'll do as a foal."

"Well, nopony else will watch him, so yes, I'll bring him." The yellow coated mare whispered she was still a bit shy, but the mare was also rather stern on this matter.

Rainbow Dash turned towards the nursery and slowly walked in and looked down at the sleeping baby draconequus quietly suckling his pacifier. The daredevil pegasus had to turn away with her cheeks now pink. "Ugh...he is um...cute...but still come on, we can't bring him; I'm sure we can drop him off with Mr. and Mrs. Cake; they know how to care for foals."

"I'm going to bring him to the party. Now you want some hot chocolate?" Fluttershy asked, trying to change the subject.

Rainbow looked down at the "hot chocolate" dripping from Fluttershy's teats, and her cheeks flushed pink as she whispered, "um...no thanks."

The mare squeaked, realizing where Rainbow was looking and why she refused, and quickly stammered, "what no! I...um...was going actually to make some this...um…this was an accident..."

"Discord?" Rainbow Dash grumbled as she threw her hooves across her chest.

"Yeah...he was hungry, and you know he's a baby and ...um...anyway, I'm going to fix us some lunch," Fluttershy explained, now feeling quite scared as she scampered off. Rainbow rolled her eyes and sat on the couch as she sighed, "things can't get any crazier."

Rainbow Dash then saw Angel hop over with a platter of small sandwiches. "Would you like some snacks while we wait?" The mare then slammed a hoof to her face.
